I got sick in the early hours of the morning we had to book out and was rushed to Capegate Hospital at about 6h30. When we told the hostess that we might not be in time to book out, they left all our belongings in the lapa area, including personal belongings like my work laptop. I feel that they could keep it in a more safer area till we arranged for it to be fetched.

That the electricity went off the whole time and then we were waiting long for a other frying pan and the house keeper made a comment like why don't we just braai when we wanted a other pan coz the one we got didn't work and I woke up in the middle of the night because of how loud people were laughing and talking loud an how loud they were in the morning

Reviewed Jul 17, 2026We had a wonderful stay. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The beath-taking view, I like how she designed the whole place, it looks amazing. The location was convenient, and the host was friendly and responsive, and accommodative ( we had to do early check-in) due to our doctor who was hospitalized, the host made it easy for us with her friendly personality. The only issue I had, was to leave that lovely place. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

Reviewed Jun 26, 2026For the 1 night that I stayed there it was pretty perfect. I didn't need much, just a comfy bed and a bathroom which it had. There was a kettle and a fridge, so I had some basics in there. Yeah it was a cute place for what I paid for.
There was a corner in the room that smelt pretty bad. I am not sure what it was but I just avoided placing my stuff there. However, everywhere else was relatively clean.

Their listing says Afrikaans and English but every time your manage to communicate, the reply back will be in English. Impossible to make telephone contact with them. No personal contact. Eventually reply back per WhatsApp. For our own comfort we started to look at one bedroom but decided that a two bedroom would've been better. On arrival the lady said that we are only two people and the other bedroom was locked. No place to leave your luggage in very small cramped space. I was forced to share a bed with my late brother's wife. Very unacceptable for me and her. A very small bottle of so called water down low quality dishwasher liquid was supplied. I had to get my own. One very dirty dish cloth was supplied. Refused to use it and got my own. The extractor fan above the stove is/was so dirty and unhygienic that I refused to prepare any food on the stove for incase something dislodge and fall in the pot. The lounge furniture was very dirty and needs cleaning and re-upholstering. You don't sit on it, you sit in it. The close proximity to the pool and people using it and smoking, made it impossible to open your sliding door, curtains or windows on that side. I insist that I get a refund for the two nights, the difference between a one bedroom and a two bedroom.
