Nice position and peaceful stay to rest, easy exit to surrounding towns. Breakfast served were very good.

Nice stay for my daughter and son-in-law after their wedding, excpeting it should have been communicated that should there be outages, guests will be affected. The kids had no electricity on the first evening due to a bad storm and very cold night. I complained, and it was not well received, unfortunately. I know that storms can affect electricity, and understand this is quite common in the area and perhaps out of control at times. I believe if guests know this may happen, they would be more prepared.

The house is absolutely stunning, with an exceptional, almost surreal view. We wanted to get away from the city to relax and unwind, and we definitely got that and more. Jean was wonderful and really took our experience to the next level. He was friendly, accommodating, and genuinely wanted to help make our stay even more comfortable. He gave us great recommendations for food and experiences and made sure we were well taken care of. The breakfast was lovely, and we found ourselves excited to guess what we’d be having the next day. Thank you, OTR! We can’t wait to come back!

A bit of humidity in our room

Breakfast was great. The view was amazing and the hot tub was fabulous.the Lady that checked us in is a great host!

The plug points did not work well. Behind the bed.We could not use the warm blankets cause there was issue with the cord. The room does not get enough fresh air. Lots of damp spots on the walls. The floor feels sandy so did not walk barefoot in the room.i will recommend you give real butter for the delicious bread! And on our first night there was only one pouch of coffee. I will recommend 2 so that the coffee is not so weak.

The property is stunning, the pictures don't do it justice. Robin, the host is exceptionally friendly and makes you feel right at home. From the days leading up to my stay, I was updated about everything. During my stay, I was catered for and made to feel welcome. The breakfast is amazing!!! Highly recommend 👌🏾

On the Rocks is stunning! The guesthouse is, as it's name implies, on the rocks, a few metres from the sea. Our room was spacious, the bed really comfortable and a luxurious bathroom with walking shower with a view of the sea. The room had a large deck overlooking the sea with ample space for relaxing. Breakfasts were plentiful with lots of choice including fresh warm croissants. I would definitely go back and recommend it as perfect relaxing stay.

The only thing was the fact that the electric blanket didn’t work on the one side of the bed (and we were there over a particularly cold weekend). Other than that, everything else was fantastic.

Die Lage an den Klippen, der direkte Blick aufs Meer und die Persönlichkeit mit max. 3 anderen Gästen. Das Frühstück war ein Highlight mit viel Liebe zum Detail.

Es war schon relativ kalt und feucht im Zimmer (Ende April) trotz Heizung. Der Wind war sehr laut nachts. Aber das Bett ist beheizbar, was toll war.

The location was amazing, right next to the ocean. The breakfast was really nice too. The rooms were also beautiful and clean with a great ocean facing view

It could have been more clear what time breakfast ended as we weren't told on arrival and it was also unclear from the note we got on booking.

The property is beautiful and exactly like the pictures. It is very clean and we loved being in the Jacuzzi overlooking the ocean. We liked all the staff except Robyn.

The hostess Robyn really ruined the experience for us. Upon check-in, she seemed visibly upset. It turned out this was due to us arriving 30min before the check-in time (which is usually at 3pm). Robyn literally told me we arrived at 14h27. I couldn’t believe it, it has never happened to me that in the first 10min of Check-in I had to tell her that if she cannot be friendlier we would consider leaving. The rest of our two days stay the vibe was ruined for me although Robyn did try to be nicer to us. This said, the other staff at the property were amazing and we really enjoyed our time there whenever Robyn was not around.

The view from the house is absolutely gorgeous - we were even so lucky to see whales, right from the Padio. The breakfast was also fantastic and the Staff at the house really lovely. We had a great stay and would love to come again.

The location is just out of this world, a true spot that you will remember and will want to come back to! Robyn was also extremely helpful and made us feel comfortable

Er is geen echt zwembad meer een jacuzzi.

Robin war eine herzliche Gastgeberin, die sich im höchsten Maße um ihre Gäste kümmert, sei es in Präsenz oder 24-Stunden-Erreichbarkeit im Hintergrund. Sie hat ein Gespür, was ihre Gäste individuell wünschen/benötigen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Lage und der Spirit der Unterkunft. Man bewohnt zwar eines von vier Zimmern, doch man bekommt das Gefühl, den Aufenthalt in einer großen Familie zu verbringen. Das rundet Linda, eine wahre Backgöttin, mit ihrem freundlichen Service incl. täglich frisch gebackenem Kuchen ab!

Wunderbare Gastgeberin Robyn Frühstück mit Vielfalt, für jeden etwas dabei.

Location was perfect. Within close proximity to restaurants etc. rooms were comfortable and outside area was great to relax all day. Robin was a great host while her team kept the house clean and its guests well fed during breakfast and the afternoon treats were simply delicious.

Absolutely incredible place- the views, the rooms, the safety - Robyn and her team couldn’t have done any more for us. They were so kind, generous and helpful and we will definitely come back. Amazing breakfast and cakes. Helped book restaurants for us, and all the local towns and nature reserves are just few minutes drive away. Amazing hikes. Only an hour or so drive from airport. Wunderschöne großzügige Villa direkt am Meer. Auch wenn wir ein Zimmer mit seitlichem Meerblick hatten, war auch dies toll. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich, präsent und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück großartig.

The view is unbeatable, and the breakfast was excellent! Robyn is a warm, welcoming, and efficient hostess. She provided all the information we needed about Betty’s Bay’s top attractions and best places to eat, she even made reservations for us where necessary.

The electric blanket did not work, bedroom was a bit cold.

O atendimento personalizado da Robyn foi excelente, café da manhã com tudo muito fresco e saboro, vista incrível das montanhas e do mar. No words can describe the beauty of the location and the stunning view. The management and staff made us feel so welcome and treated us like royalty. The house is amazing and beautiful. Soaking in the bath in our room with a glass of Champayne, overlooking the sea, was an experience that is indescribable. The breakfasts - wow - and once again overlooking the ocean while you are eating. The house has the most magnificent 180 degrees view of the ocean and mountains. The openness of the house - I could live there and think I'm in heaven. Had the best 3 days and was sad to leave. Would rate this as one of the best Airbnb's.

Het uitzicht en de jacuzzi. Ontbijt was ook super. Het is een prachtig modern pand op een geweldige plek (wel afgelegen maar prachtig)

Het zwembad is veel kleiner dan op de fotos lijkt, eerder een plunge pool. Het bad op de kamer was onbruikbaar vanwege het vieze water. Op de kamer was het ook ontzettend heet zonder airco.

Eine ausserordentlich schöne Lage des Hauses fast über den Klippen mit weitem Blick über die ganze Bay. Dazu der wundervolle Blick vom Zimmer durch schön angelegte Fenster mit Balkon. Sehr persönliche Betreuung durch Robyn, die Gastgeberin: immer hilfsbereit und unterstützend. Gerne wären wir länger geblieben. Beim nächsten Mal!

Gorgeous ocean front property, delicious breakfast and wonderful staff

The property is nestled between the mountains and the sea, offering spectacular views that are truly its standout feature. Breakfast was a generous spread with fresh, healthy options. On most days, we were surprised with a treat when returning from our explorations. We stayed for six nights, and the bedding and towels were regularly changed, which we really appreciated.

Unfortunately, the room was not as clean as expected. The previous guest’s soap was still in the shower, and while the amenities were refilled daily, they showed visible signs of dirt and general wear and tear. This was not in line with what one would expect from a four-star establishment. I would also strongly recommend installing light-blocking blackout blinds, as from around 5 a.m. the sun shines very brightly into the room, making it difficult to sleep. The swimming pool and jacuzzi are not accessible after sunset, which was a little disappointing. It would have been lovely to relax in the jacuzzi after a full day of exploring. Perhaps it would be more practical to allow use until a set time, such as 21:00, rather than closing them at sunset.

La struttura è proprio difronte al mare ed ha un panorama mozzafiato. La camera ed il letto sono molto confortevoli. Lo staff e Robyn sono stati gentili e di aiuto. Abbiamo molto apprezzato la merenda preparata in casa e diversa ogni giorno!

La posizione proprio davanti al mare rende la struttura molto soggetta al vento, entrambe le notti in cui abbiamo soggiornato il vento è stato molto forte e molto fastidioso, creando un rumore frastornate in camera per tutta la notte (come quando si è in tenda e c’è vento). Inoltre non vi sono tapparelle né tende in camera, quindi dalle 5 am ce luce, rendendo la mascherina indispensabile.

The corner window on our room had no blind so we used eye shades as it was light at 5am.

Herrliche Lage am Wasser - da gibt es nichts Schöneres! Modernes, stylisches Haus mit allem Komfort. Grosses Zimmer und grosszügiges Bad! Gutes Frühstück.

Das Zimmer ist leider nicht mit einer Verdunkelungsmöglichkeit ausgestattet worden. (Die Sonne ging um 5 auf!) Dadurch wird die Nacht was kurz.

Robyn die Gastgeberin ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Sie empfiehlt und reservierte für uns an drei Abenden exzellente Restaurant mit div. Angeboten, inkl. den Transfer, damit wir die feinen Weine auch geniessen konnten. Frühstück ist mit feinen Früchten, div. Käse (nicht nur Chedar) und es gibt div. Kaffees inkl. Espresso-Maschine im Zimmer. Das sehr stylische und moderne Gasthaus hat direkte und freie Sicht auf den Südatlantik.

Traumhaft gelegen Lodge mit direkter Lage am Meer. Zimmer sehr gut eingerichtet und es gibt zusätzlich einen großen Aufenthaltsraum für alle mit Meerblick und Kamin. Sehr nettes Personal. Robyn erfüllt einen jeden Wusch, gibt Tips für die Gegend und reservierte uns die Restaurants für den Abend. Alle super lecker und empfehlenswert gewesen, aber man braucht einen Mietwagen. Ein super leckeres Frühstück mit einer Riesen Auswahl.Kommen sehr gerne wieder

Fehlende Klimanalage. Die Wohnung heizt sich sehr auf. Fehlt aber nur beim Einschlafen,denn über Nacht wird es durch die Meeresnähe und Wind angenehm. Aber das wussten wir ja vorher.

Но главное сокровище этого места — Робин. Она невероятно тёплый, светлый и заботливый человек. С первых минут создаёт ощущение, будто приехал не в гостевой дом, а в гости к очень близкому человеку. Её внимание к деталям, искренность и душевность невозможно не почувствовать. А её завтраки — это маленькие утренние праздники, сделанные с любовью. И ещё одно маленькое чудо, которое нас по-настоящему удивило: оказалось, что её сын живёт в России, причём совсем недалеко от моего родного города. Мир вдруг стал таким маленьким и родным, что тепло на душе стало ещё больше. Это место наполнено добром, красотой и ощущением гармонии. Мы уехали с чувством благодарности и уже мечтаем однажды вернуться снова.

Lokation and cool house

Wir waren überwältigt von der Lage. Es war nicht nur der Blick aufs Meer, sondern die direkte Nähe zum Meer, der Blick auf die Küste und der Blick aus unserem Zimmer, wenn man aufgewacht ist. Ein wirklich großzügiger, sehr komfortabler Wohnbereich, mit Kamin (der brannte, wenn man nach Hause kam), 2 Loungeecken und direktem Zugang zur Terasse. Whirlpool, Pool und Liegen - alles wunderbar! Individuelles Frühstück am Morgen und viele Tipps für den Aufenthalt waren ein weiteres Highlight. Super gerne wieder!

Ich war zwei Tage dort und rundum glücklich! Die Lage ist einfach spektakulär – direkt am Meer mit einem atemberaubenden Blick auf die Wellen und die Berge im Hintergrund. Schon beim Aufwachen hört man das Meer rauschen – pure Entspannung! Die Unterkunft ist mit so viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet, sehr sauber und komfortabel. Alles, was man braucht, ist vorhanden, und man spürt sofort, dass hier viel Wert auf Qualität und Wohlfühlatmosphäre gelegt wird. Auch die Gastgeber sind unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit – man fühlt sich sofort willkommen und bestens umsorgt. Ich hätte am liebsten noch länger bleiben wollen!
