The hospitality and the overall ambience. The room was wonderful plus the terrace, with a great view. Steven provided us great recommendations for places to visit in the neighborhood. The night we arrived he also called a restaurant in a nearby village and reserved a table. There we had a delicious meal in a friendly and local atmosphere. The breakfast was fabulous, plenty of good food, coffee and orange juice. In short: An excellent stay at Gilles De Ver.

Hôtes vraiment sympathiques, lieu cosy, la chambre avec sa salle de bain etait vraiment parfaite avec une vue sur le magnifique jardin. Le petit déjeuner était vraiment parfait 👍

Tout était parfait. L'accueil et les chambres étaient au top. Nous avons pu profiter de la terrasse et d'un apéritif à disposition. La région est magnifique. Un lieu à recommander sans hésitation.

Rien, c'était vraiment comme décrit dans l'annonce et nous étions ravis.

Als ik iets moet noemen de airco op de kamer maakte veel geluid maar met m’n oordopjes in prima te doen

De gastvrijheid van Lieve en Steven is enorm, je voelt je thuis bij hen in huis. Ook veel tips gekregen voor dinner en wandelsuggesties, wat ontzettend attent is. De prachtige omgeving incl enorme tuin aangrenzend de B&B is ook geweldig.

Als ik dan toch iets moet noemen: ik ben een douche-mens en met alleen bad in de badkamer is dat even schakelen. Maar dat is persoonlijk.

Das Frühstück wurde frisch vom Vermieter für uns vorbereitet. Der Vermieter war ausgesprochen nett und hat uns viele gute Informationen bezüglich Ausflugstipps und Restaurants gegeben.

Die Lage der Unterkunft war vielleicht etwas abgelegen aber mit einem Auto kein Problem.

Beaux appartements dans une belle maison dans une belle propriété dans une belle région! Propriétaires très sympathiques, petit déjeuner super, beaucoup de choix, bons produits.

Na een avontuurlijke maar vermoeiende dag waren wij onze autosleutel verloren. Na verschillende taxibedrijven gebeld te hebben, Uber, .. de B&B gebeld dat we later gingen zijn en hen de situatie uitgelegd. Zij stelden meteen zelf voor om ons op te halen, en zouden ook ‘s avonds meekoken voor ons. Lieve en Geert waren enorm gastvrij. Het ontbijt was schitteren, en de kamer ‘Bonbon’ was fantastisch!

Comfortable bed, beautiful interiors, very friendly owners. Great location and delicious breakfast. We highly recommend this place.

Prachtige B&B, mooie luxe en ruime kamer, heerlijke bedden, hele ruime badkamer; we werden gastvrij ontvangen. De B&B is hondvriendelijk; er is een enorm tuin -park achter het gebouw waar je zowaar een wandeling kunt maken. Veel zitjes. Rustige omgeving. Voor het avondeten een paar km verderop naar Celles, een mooi dorpje sfeervol en lekker restaurantje achter de kerk. Super ontbijt! Dank jullie wel, Lieve, we hadden een heerlijk verblijf!

This is truly an exceptional experience. The owners are very welcoming, the room is spacious, clean and very comfortable, and the bath is just true luxury. There is a bar in the basement, so it is nice to enjoy a cold beer in the evening on the terrace with a beautiful view. The breakfast is amazing. You can see that the owners really care about the guests, and everything is organised with this in mind. Just 15 out of 10, really.

There was no door between the room and the bathroom in our room. We didn't mind it, but if you mind, ask for another room.

Voortreffelijk ontbijt en mogelijkheid om een picnic te maken. Water op de kamer Mooi ingerichte kamer en badkamer.

Geen deur tussen slaapkamer en badkamer Er is geen aparte douche. Je kan enkel zittend in bad douchen , best onhandig Nachtlamp aan bed volstaat niet om te kunnen lezen.

Wij hebben een fantastische tijd gehad bij Gilles de Ver B&B! Vanaf het moment dat we aankwamen, voelden we ons ontzettend welkom. De kamer was prachtig ingericht en voorzien van alle luxe die je maar kunt wensen – een heerlijke combinatie van comfort en stijl. Het ontbijt was werkelijk uitmuntend: vers, gevarieerd en met veel aandacht bereid. Elke ochtend was het een feestje om aan tafel te schuiven. De gastvrijheid maakte ons verblijf helemaal af. Alles werd tot in de puntjes verzorgd.

Beautiful comfortable room, warm and welcoming hosts and a delicious breakfast. Very much enjoyed a lovely cold beer on the terrace with a lovely view. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely location in a tastefully renovated former farmhouse with a nice garden. There are some nice walks nearby (Furfooz nature reserve, Walzin castle...) and the hosts gave us a couple of sandwich bags so we could pack a lunch for the day, very nice!

The bathtub is a really nice feature but it's a touch impractical without a shower holder or curtain.

The vibe of the house and the owners is very nice. The owners are very helpful and open and we had some great conversations. We will come back for sure.

A small family held hotel. Amazing nature outside and great breakfasts

Steven and Lieve are a lovely couple open to receive you with a warm hospitality. The house is beautiful, cozy, spacious and well located. There are five rooms available. Some rooms offer a very nice view of the green fields behind the property. Beds are quite big and super comfy. There's also a bar downstairs. This place on Summer must be even more special. I super recommend their breakfast – it's fantastic. Dank u wel, Steven and Lieve, en tot straks!

Unique property! Amazing owners!

The hosts were very accomodating and thoughtful, e.g. every morning we found a new toy lying ready on the breakfast table for our little girl to play with. Breakfast is A+++. The fact that you could prepare a packed lunch for the day. Their place is amazing. Spacious rooms, great shower/bath, great quality choice of furniture/decoration, a garden of Eden, where you can easily lose some time. You can see that they put a lot of thought in the way they organised it and in what way they want to live a life in their place together with guests. Lovely nights out on a terrace, nice chats, candles, possibility for a fire, a plunge in the jacuzzi, with a fully stocked bar within reach, there wasn't anything that we would have possibly wanted more, or maybe only just a little better weather 😀 but then again the Ardennes smell so nice in the rain!

If it is even worth saying, maybe just the fact that there is no door between the room and the bathroom (room with bath) and that the taps above the sinks in the downstairs room (with terrace) are a bit splashy.

The lack of a bathroom door was the biggest negative.

We can definitely recommend this beautiful B&B. It's located in a lovely area. The hosts are super friendly and helpful. We only stayed for 1 night, but it was very enjoyable. The owner made restaurant recommendations and even booked a table for us. Breakfast was delicious! Thanks again!

Breakfast was excellent; well displayed. Facility also has electric charge point for vehicles though we did not use them, but great they were there.

Wonderful B&B in a very relaxing and beautiful place. The host was great and took good care of us, the breakfast was superb!

We absolutely loved our stay. It’s not always easy to find a comfortable place with 2 little kids, but here you’ll find exceptionally welcoming, warm and helpful hosts as well as a beautiful big garden for kids to play in. Also many amazing locations to explore very close by. The room we stayed is extremely well equipped and comfortable. Steven & Lieve kindly provided some toys for the little ones, and helped out with charging our car. Thanks a lot, and we would love to come back at some point!
