Friendly hosts, very central location, lovely breakfast

経営されているご夫婦が本当に優しいです。めちゃくちゃ優しいです！建物の構造が4階建てで、各階にお部屋があるタイプですので、荷物を運ぶのは大変と思っていたらご主人が持って運んでくれました。20㎏はあろうかという荷物を軽々と・・・。 朝食はパン、サラミ、チーズ、シリアルです。手作りのジャムがめちゃおいしいです。あと、お湯が欲しいとリクエストしたら入れてくれました！やさしい！ 英語があんまりできない私達にも積極的に話しかけてくれて、その心意気が嬉しかったな。

なしで！快適さ求めるならそういったホテルにいきましょう！ 入口は分かりづらいですが、1階です。看板をよく見たら分かりますよ。インターフォンを押すタイプなので、押せば対応してもらえます。

L accueil sympathique et attentif, respectueux et des réponses pour m orienter sur le déroulement du séjour transport.

La gentillesse de Muna et Lucien et la qualité de leurs petits déjeuners nous ont permis de passer un excellent séjour à Thun malgré la chaleur (la chambre étant dailleurs fraîche en soirée, ce qui était très agréable).

Die Lage des B&B ist perfekt - Anfahrt mit Auto ins Parkhaus City Süd, mit List ganz nach unten in die Altstadt und man steht vor der Türe. Es ist in einem alten Altstadthaus das soft renoviert wurde, mit sehr viel Charme, nach hinten der Blick direkt aufs Schloss Thun. Das Prädikat Altstadthaus hat aber auch einen Nachteil: Man muss einigermassen gut zu Fuss sein, um die 4-6 Treppen zu den Zimmern buchstäblich zu erklimmen.

Das uns zugeteilte Zimmer ist in der Dachschräge und sehr niedrig. Das heisst gemütlich aber eng. Für eine bis zwei Nächte ist dies ok, aber für eine längere Zeit ist dieses Dachzimmer ungünstig (wir wissen nicht, ob die Vermieter dies berücksichtigen), für uns hats gepasst (1 nacht)

Location is perfect, just near the entrance of the parking garage, and in the center of Thun old town, plenty of bars and restaurants all around, The couple running the place are by the most nice and welcoming people I met in a long time, a real pleasure, thanks a lot!

Was a bit hot in the attic room, even if there was a fan in the room, temperature are extremely hot this days

The room was neat and clean, with a great view from the window, and though the window faces the street, it wasn't noisy at night. Muna and Lucien were very warm and friendly, and the other guests were also kind. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.

The hosts were very welcoming and provided a delicious breakfast. We had to leave early for our activities in Interlaken, and they were flexible enough to prepare our breakfast ahead of time without hesitation. The view of the stockhorn was amazing. The room was comfortable and the there is a good high quality fan/cooler in the room. Location is close to the train/bus station.

The rooms were at the top floors and getting there can be challenging for some people. However, this was not a problem for us. Lucien was happy to help carry the our heavy bags and that was very helpful.

Die Gastgeber sind sehr zuvorkommend und leben mit Allem das Gastgeber sein. Die Lage ist perfekt inmitten der Altstadt und es ist extrem spannend zu sehen wie ein so schmales, uraltes Altstadthaus von innen aussieht. Die Zimmer sin liebevoll und zweckmässig eingerichtet. Das Frühstück ist phänomenal! Reichhaltig, regional, selbstgemacht, saisonal, frisch und wunderschön angerichtet: Mehr kann man nicht wünschen!

Nichts. Es ist ringhörig - aber das störte überhaupt nicht: Das gehört zu einem solch alten Gebäude.

Beeindruckend altes, sehr liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus, gemütliche Zimmer und sehr offene und freundliche Gastgeber. Tolles Frühstück, einzigartiges Ambiente. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen!

Die Gastgeber haben sich mit dem Frühstück Mühe gegeben. Die Matratze und das Duvet waren sehr komfortabel. Die Lage des Zimmers war sehr gut.

Wir hatten das Zimmer direkt neben dem Gemeinschaftsbad…bei jedem, der es nutzte ging das Licht des Bewegungsmelders an und hat das Zimmer hell erleuchtet; und die Lüftung ging durch unser Zimmer, die Duschkabine ist mit einer dünnen Wand vom Zimmer getrennt; daher war es teilweise sehr laut und störend…

Muna and Lucien were kind and helpful. We were able to check in earlier than expected. Breakfast was excellent. Location is perfect to explore Thun. We had fun chatting with Muna.

Les escaliers 5 ètages (nous avons 80 ans) mais de notre faute je n ai pas lu que cela était indiqué.

Lucien et Muna ont a coeur de rendre votre séjour le plus agréable et le plus confortable possible et grace à eux, nous avons passé un très agréable séjour. Chambre agréable, petit déjeuner complet avec délicieux expresso pour les amateurs de café. Emplacement idéal dans la vieille ville à huit minutes à pied de la gare, très facile pour explorer les environs.

We loved the way Muna and Lucien made us feel welcome. They were never too busy to listen or offer to help in some way. The bed was very comfortable and the shared bathroom was always spotless. Breakfast was more than filling with plenty of choice and very tasty. The location was central, very close to the river, bars and restaurants. We stayed 7 nights and we were sad to have to leave.

I only could give this room 10 points because this app doesn't offer me a 11 . I will recommend this room to everyone who schedule to come to Swissland. The homemade breakfast is awesome , we got bread , ham , cheese butter ，fruit ，homemade jam and yogurt bowl . All the furnitures are so clean and the bed is so comfortable . Living here will let you feel you really live in someone's home. Thun is a convenient town to come to the cities and towns nearby . Muna did a lot of work to keep the house clean and comfortable for everyone live here . And this is also very important to her . She is so kind, talkative , warmhearted and a bit humorous. We talked a lot,and it's a happy memory to chat with her.

Super Lage Gutes Frühstück

Das Zimmer war direkt neben der gemeinsamen Toilette. Man hört alles, da es einen grossen Spalt unter der Tür gab. Das Zimmer war klein und auch das Bett sehr schmal.

Mona und Lucien sind sehr sympathische und interessierte Gastgeber. Das Frühstück mit selbstgemachten Konfitüren, Birchermüesli und vielem mehr können wir sehr empfehlen. Mona und Lucien pflegen ihr B&B auf eine sehr persönliche Art. So sollten alle B&Bs sein.

Das charmante Haus in der Altstadt hat Stil. Dafür ist das WC mit Dusche verständlicherweise etwas eng.

Die hervorragende Lage mitten in der Altstadt sowie das liebevoll zubereitete Frühstück mit feinen, regionalen Produkten haben uns besonders begeistert.

Das Badezimmer ist etwas eng, was jedoch dem Charakter und der Bauweise des Hauses entspricht und für uns insgesamt gut gepasst hat. Das Bett war sehr schmal und die Matratze war sehr weich und durchgelegen.

Liebevoll eingerichtet und ein absoluter Wohlfühlort mit tollen Gastgebern. Gerne wieder :)

Die Lage ist perfekt, alles ist liebevoll hergerichtet, das Früchstück ebenso und abwechslungsreich. Die beiden Gastgeber sind herzlich und hilfsbereit!

Für ältere ist es vielleicht mit den Treppen nicht ganz so einfach.

Wir wurden von Muna und Lucien sehr herzlich empfangen. Hübsche Zimmer, im Herzen der Altstadt und in sehr ruhiger Lage. Das Frühstück wurde mir viel Liebe zubereitet und war sehr lecker. Selbst gemachte Konfitüren und Tee vom Garten.😍

No words can express how amazing this stay was. Muna & Lucien were the greatest hosts. The breakfast was amazing and they even went out of their way to buy & make us foods we loved!! The bed was so comfy and cute - the view of the castle and ability to walk around the city made the location perfect. I would recommend this stay a million times over. They chatted with us over breakfast and it just really added to the authenticity of the stay.

The owner of the place and staff were so kind and nice, friendly. My wife and I enjoyed staying the place and felt home.

Die Lage und das spezielle Gebäude. Das Zimmer ist geräumig. Freundliche Besitzer.

Da Fenster und Glastür zum Treppenhaus nicht vollständig abgeschirmt werden konnten, war der Einblick ins Zimmer leicht möglich. Beim Frühstück gibt es nicht genügend Platz, sodass ich an einen Vierertisch gewiesen wurde mit drei anderen Personen. Die waren sehr nett, aber man hat keine Wahl. Beim Buchen ist nicht klar, dass man kein eigenes Bad hat.

This apartment is being run as a genuine B&B. The owners are there when you arrive, look after you during your stay, provide a lovely breakfast, and bid farewell to you when you leave. (I am concerned by how many places now are faceless. Send copy of passport; receive instructions and keycode by return email etc etc). The location of the building is right in the fun area of the Old City. In the next street across along the waterway, is a buzzing cafe precinct. The actual street itself is full of old world charm. The owners were full of information about the area, and helped us to settle in. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. And everything we wanted to see was in easy walking distance - especially the train station. We don't want to detract from the charm of this place, but it is worth noting that the building has narrowish stairs between each level. There are two rooms per level and the charming and well-stocked breakfast room is on another level. We had carry-on and check-in size luggage. The stairs were a bit tricky, but doing the large bags one at a time was fine. And the owners immediately gave assistance with the bags. We had been allocated a top floor room with good views presumably, but once they saw our luggage, they offered us a lower room at our choice - which we accepted. If you just have backpacks or carry-on luggage, you won't have a problem. And a bit of advice for arrival. They will send you instructions on how to find the front door. We got them and didn't read in full. The street is amazing. The footpath is elevated above the street. If you walk along the footpath, at the address is a shop front. Luckily we were guided to the right place. Go back to street level, walk to the same number, and you have the front door of the building. Amazing design. And as I mentioned, we were told in advance. (Whoops).

Muna and Lucien are incredible hosts who made our stay memorable! Their bed & breakfast is perfectly located in the center of Thun - just steps from the riverfront, the castle, and all the cafés and shops. The house itself feels like a little piece of Thun’s story: one of the original town buildings with charming, quirky details that give you a real sense of the city’s history.

The hotel is a bit old and would definitely benefit from some renovation (this is the biggest disadvantage). However, the hosts were extremely polite and welcoming - special thanks for the late check-in! The breakfast didn’t have much variety, but it was freshly prepared by the hosts, which made it feel homely and pleasant.

Die Lage ist super, in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Eingang zum Schlossparking, direkt in der verkehrsfreien Altstadt, perfekt zum Flanieren, Essen, Bars geniessen...

Es hat nur ein kleines WC/Dusche pro Etage, keines im Zimmer. Das Zimmer ist sehr ringhörig. Man "steht" jedesmal im Bett, wenn jemand aufs WC muss oder die Treppe rauf und runter. Die Zimmer liegen im 3./4. Stock. Es hat nur enge Treppen, keinen Lift. Das Bett war relativ schmal und die Matratze echt schlecht und wohl "durchgelegen". Der Checkout war bereits um 10 Uhr, inklusive Frühstück. Nicht verhandelbar. Immerhin wurde uns als Kompromiss ein Frühstück im Rest. Reber offeriert. Das haben wir geschätzt.

Great location Amazing breakfast

Wir wurden sehr herzlich begrüsst und in Empfang genommen. Sie sind beide sehr empathisch, hilfsbereit sowie zuvorkommend. Wir haben uns rundum gut versorgt und sehr wohl gefühlt.

Tolle freundliche Gästebetreuung durch Muna und Lucien. Unkompliziert vom Check-in bis zur Abreise. Das Frühstück mit viel Liebe zubereitet und ein Konfi-Buffet (hausgemacht natürlich) bei dem die Auswahl sehr schwer fiel. Das Haus ein Bijou und der Garten mit Frühstücks Terrasse klein aber fein, wie alles im Haus sehr Stilvoll eingerichtet.

Le bruit de la ventilation mise par inadvertance par d'autres clients à plusieurs reprises passant par notre chambre était assez bruyante. Nous avons aimé tout le reste !

Tunnelmallinen vanha talo vanhassa kaupungissa lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä rautatieasemasta. Muna & Lucien olivat erittäin avuliaita. Erinomaisella aamiaisella tarjottiin lähialueen tuottajien tuotteita ja itsetehtyjä hilloja, gluteenittomuuteni otettiin hyvin huomioon kun siitä etukäteen ilmoitin. Saimme hyviä vinkkejä aktiviteeteista.

Huone sijaitsi ylimmässä kerroksessa ja siinä ei ollut ilmastointia joten 30 asteen helteillä sisällä oli lämmintä. En uskaltanut pitää ikkunaa auki, sillä ulkopuolella liikkui kissoja katolla eikä ikkunassa ollut mitään estettä. Talossa on erittäin paljon portaita joten ei sovellu liikuntarajoitteisille.

Lovely property with friendly owners. I stay in a lot of chain hotels and this sort of place is so refreshing. I wish every small family run hotel was like this! Great value and exceptional location.

Didn't bother me at all, but worth being aware that this is a tall, thin property so if you stay at the top there's a lot of stairs to negotiate, so it's not suitable for people who have trouble walking.

A good location, an amazing city and last but certainly not least the hosts were absolutely amazing, so friendly, helpful and nice. I would definitely go there again if I’m travelling to Thun!!!

Muna and Lucien were welcoming and friendly and sought to cater our needs (arranging a vegan breakfast on a short notice for example). The accomodation was located on a very central spot and was very homely.

Maybe not cheap by non-Swiss standards, perhaps not the newest facilities - but it was clean and very cozy, and the hosts were super lovely! Excellent breakfast too.

The hosts were so helpful and friendly

The location was very good as it was close to train station and ferry. Muna was especially a fantastic host, genuinely interested and engaging about our trip. We stayed for 4 nights and breakfasts were exceptional. The best we have had for a long time. Muna paid special attention to my dietary needs. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. Don’t be put off by the narrow staircase as we became accustomed to the historical building.

The property is located on the historic Obere Hauptgasse and can be quite noisy on Friday and Saturday nights. But don’t let that put you off!

It was in a great location. The host were very nice and their breakfast was extremely good! It was easy walk to the train and plenty to do around Thun. All the stuff was within walking distance

Great stay. Very traditional, so uou get to experience the genuine way of living in the sity. Right in the city ce ter. It eas very co fortable, all the facilities at your disposal and the staff was great.

Muna and Lucien are fabulous hosts, friendly, informative, and speak multiple languages. Surprisingly quiet in the back of the property. Also surprisingly cool and quiet at night even in hot August. Secure storage for our E-bikes was nice. Very good breakfast! Again, Muna and Lucien are great hosts, I wish we were able to stay longer!

Only drawback for us was the small double bed.

This room is superbly located in the center of historic Thun. The hostess Muna was absolutely charming! Personable, kind, punctual and spoke excellent English (thank you!). The building is very old, but clean and the room was very comfortable. The shared bathroom was fine: small but efficient and again - spotlessly clean. We felt welcome and would have loved to stay longer if our schedule permitted. Check-in and out was super easy. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend!

Muna & Lucien were so nice. They helped us with where we wanted to go and how to get there. They were interested in what we did and how we liked it. Breakfast was amazing!

We had a top floor room that was too warm with the window closed because of rain, so we used the fan and Muna provided a light blanket to use instead of the duvet.

Madam Muna and Sir Lucien were so hospitable. Muna made us comfortable after a tiring day. She prepared a simple but exceptional breakfast. Had a short but meaningful conversation... Couldn't ask for more.

Muna and Lucien were very welcoming and helpful, the range and quality of food at breakfast was excellent (a lot of home made preserves), there was a kitchen for guests' use and an attractive back garden. We enjoyed our stay in this interesting conveniently located traditional town house.

There was nothing we didn't like. The four stories and twisting staircases plus the small shared bathroom could be a problem for some guests.

Muna and Lucien were very helpful from providing an umbrella for a rainy day to providing a breakfast to go for my train ride. The location was excellent the breakfast was excellent, the Bedding was excellent.

I prefer a private bathroom, but chose this location based on value / price which included a shared bathroom.

The hospitality was excellent. Muna and Lucien were fantastic hosts. Breakfast was plentiful and beautiful. The room was also excellent with a view of the castle. It's in the old town, so it's guaranteed you will have an awesome, genuine experience.

While I didnt have any problem with it, it is important to remark that to access the rooms one needs to go through many stairs.

A small very cozy hotel with a family-like atmosphere and nice location in the center of Thun. I had very nice room with a view on a castle. I also greatly appreciated Muna and Lucien, who made me feel not like in a hotel, but like visiting someone else´s home. When you look for the accomodation on the street, it is from "downstairs" (it is basically located below the terrace on the lower street level)

Although the room was nice and with a castle view, its wall was adjacent to shared toilet and shower wall, so I could hear people taking shower at 6 AM.
