It is a very colourful and unique design building. Absolutely love the layout with the courtyard and the top terrace. Breakfast was great and the staff was always smiling, happy to help and a pleasure to be around.

La chambre était très jolie, confortable et décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Mention spéciale pour la terrasse, vraiment magnifique ! Nous avons été enchantés par notre séjour et nous recommandons vivement ce riad. Une très belle adresse où nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Wat een fantastische ervaring in deze prachtige riad! Vanaf het moment van aankomst werden we ontzettend hartelijk ontvangen en voelden we ons meteen welkom. De accommodatie is sfeervol, verzorgd en straalt een heerlijke authentieke charme uit. Een speciaal compliment voor de eigenaresse en het personeel. Hun gastvrijheid, vriendelijkheid en persoonlijke aandacht maken het verblijf echt bijzonder. Ze staan altijd klaar om te helpen, geven goede tips en doen er alles aan om je verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Je merkt dat hier met veel liefde en passie wordt gewerkt. De service is van topkwaliteit en de warme, persoonlijke sfeer zorgt ervoor dat je je helemaal thuis voelt. Wij hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf en zouden deze riad zonder twijfel aan iedereen aanbevelen. Een plek waar gastvrijheid en kwaliteit perfect samenkomen. We komen graag nog eens terug!

Petit déjeuner traditionnel fait maison excellent avec produits frais et variés. Accueil chaleureux du personnel, toujours à l'écoute et de très bon conseil. Nous avons passé un superbe séjour en toute confiance. Riad très agréable et propre, situé au cœur de la vieille ville.

The Riad was wonderful. It’s situated in a nice part of the medina (within a 5-10 minute walk to Bab el Had, the Kasbah/ beach, or the Souks), on a very quiet and peaceful street. The staff were generous, insightful, and kind. The food and all other accommodations were excellent, too.

Mon séjour dans ce Riad a été tout simplement magique. 🤗 Je me suis sentie comme dans une chambre préparée spécialement pour une princesse : chaque détail, chaque petite attention et chaque élément de la décoration m’ont émerveillée. L’atmosphère est absolument magnifique, le personnel est au top — attentionné, chaleureux et d’une grande gentillesse. ❤️ Mais surtout, l’énergie de ce lieu est quelque chose de difficile à expliquer… il faut simplement la vivre. Une véritable parenthèse hors du temps, pleine de douceur et de sérénité. J’ai tout adoré… absolument tout ! Même la musique, qui accompagne merveilleusement l’ambiance, et bien sûr… la petite chatte qui fait partie du charme du Riad. 😊🐈 Une adresse que je garderai précieusement dans mes souvenirs et que je recommande sans hésitation. The staff are friendly. The ambience is great and so is the rooftop.

The room is noisy though I was requesting for a quiet room. It is a corner room which is next to two alleles. If you come alone, this is the only room for a single traveler to better prepare a headset. Also the dryer and one lamp is not working.

Il Riad è centrale e curato nei particolari, il personale è sorridente e molto gentile. Siccome partivamo prima dell'orario di colazione ci hanno preparato yoghurt, acqua e dei panini da consumare durante il viaggio.

La gentillesse et la disponibilité de toute l'équipe du riad. L'établissement est vraiment très joli et bien situé dans la médina, à proximité des restaurants et du souk tout en étant dans une rue assez calme.

Das Riad ist an sich ein Kunstwerk, so majestätisch eingerichtet und mit Liebe zum Detail dekoriert. Eines der besten Hotels, in dem ich je war. Ayun, die Besitzerin, und ihr Team, Shaima, Nuha, Yousef, sind liebevolle und hilfsbereite Menschen. Alles in allem ein Aufenthalt, den wir nicht vergessen wollen und werden.

Le Personnel est très accueillant, j'ai aimé en particulier le charme d'un riad traditionnel au coeur de l'ancienne Médina. Celui-ci dispose de plus d'une terrasse en toiture très agréable

Dommage que le petit-déjeuner ne soit pas servi jusqu'à un peu plus tard (9h30 max). Faible isolation phonique (il faut chuchoter la nuit et on entend facilement le bruit à l'extérieur de la chambre).

Pulito, molto caratteristico, colazione davvero buona e abbondante. Una cosa sopra le altre: l’attenzione al particolare e la gentilezza. Un gruppo di donne ci ha coccolato dall’inizio alla fine della nostra permanenza, davvero fino all’ultimo secondo. E questo, a mio avviso, lo sanno fare in pochi! Brave, davvero brave!

The Riad is beautiful. Decoration and rooms are really stunning. The cars are a bonus. The girl that take care of us was super friendly and sweet.

The owner too strict , like a horrible head teacher . Too many rules. We couldn’t use the terrace after 9 pm

We had an amazing and welcoming stay at this family-run riad. If you want a proper Moroccan vibe in a very central location, this is the place to go. Breakfast was wonderful, the rooms were very nice and the beds were comfortable (esp. the silky smooth linen)!

Zelo cisto, vsak dan perejo cel riad. Osebje izjemno prijazno. Sin je imel rojstni dan in so mu pripravili torto in svecke. Zaposleni prijazni, ustrezljivi in pomagajo. Hrana odlicna.

Binnen een paar minuten ben je bij de kasbah, de haven, de souq. De Riad is ontzettend schoon en vrolijk ingericht.

Everything! From the very welcoming and accomodating staff, to the beautiful, clean and colorful Riad. The location inside the Medina was central, yet very quiet. Everything was within walking distance. I have to mention the shower, which was the only good shower with enough water pressure we had in three weeks in Morocco!

What a beautiful Riad! Gorgeous, clean rooms and a truly authentic feel. Perfect location right in the centre of the Medina. We were made to feel so welcome by all the ladies. The breakfast was fantastic - perfect. I can’t thank the staff enough for how well they looked after us - we were a family of 7 over 3 rooms and everyone loved it. The adorable kitten was a big hit with all of us too 😊

Zeer zakelijke host. In vergelijking met de andere verblijven die we deden, waren de kamers erg klein en de lakens niet proper. Het ontbijt was eerder beperkt en het fruit niet vers. Airco mocht niet blijven aanstaan. Kwamen zelfs de kamer binnen terwijl we er in zaten om de airco af te zetten. Voor ons geen aanrader.

Für unseren Geschmack ein wenig zu kitschig modernisiert. Unser Zimmer verfügte über kein Fenster zur Außenwelt, nur nach innen. Klimaanlage funktionierte nach etlichen Startversuchen, war dann allerdings auch nicht angenehm so dass wir sie Nachts wieder abschalteten. Die Temperatur in Rabat war während unseres Aufenthaltes recht moderat mit 27 /28 Grad. Sollte es richtig heiß werden, möchte ich in diesem Zimmer nicht wohnen.

Comoda la posizione nella medina e la colazione. La mattina abbiamo potuto lasciare i bagagli al Riad per girare la città.

La camera è nel patio dove si fa la colazione. Non ha nessuna privacy in quanto i tavolini sono attaccati alla porta e alle due finestre che ovviamente bisogna tenere chiuse. L'autista del Riad che ci ha portato in stazione è costato più del taxi preso la sera prima. Conviene il taxi

Our first time in 🇲🇦 Chose to stay in Riad instead of a hotel. Riad Esmeralda did not disappoint. It was beautiful. My teen daughter had the bed on mezzanine and 💕 it. Very friendly staff. Gorgeous breakfast. Highly recommend 😊

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'accueil chaleureux de la famille à qui appartient le riad. La décoration du riad est magnifique. Notre chambre donné sur la cour intérieur c'était splendide. Il y a une très belle vue de la terrasse sur la ville. Au départ du riad nous avons tout pu faire à pied pour visiter les centres d'intérêt. Le petit déjeuner y est exceptionnel.Tout le monde parle français ce qui est appréciable et nous permet d'avoir de belles conversations

As a lot of guests mentioned, the noise part is a bit inconvenient. We didn't realize the room was not soundproof because there are windows to the yard and it would disturb others

Beautiful and colorful riad in an excellent location in the heart of the Medina of Rabat. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with a great bed. The terrace is a real highlight, offering a lovely atmosphere to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Breakfast was very good! The staff is young, friendly, and always available to help with any request. A perfect place to experience the authentic charm of Rabat. Highly recommended!

Camas, limpieza y terraza

Das Riad war traumhaft, ein sehr schönes Hotel im traditionellen marokkanischen Stil. Es liegt im Herzen der Medina, sodass man die Altstadt hervorragend zu Fuß erkunden kann. Trotzdem ist die Straßenbahn nur etwa fünf Gehminuten entfernt und der Bahnhof Rabat Ville in etwa 20 Minuten zu erreichen. Die Wirtin und die Mitarbeiterinnen waren sehr freundlich, diskret und stets hilfsbereit. Morgens wurde ein sehr leckeres Frühstück direkt am Tisch serviert. Man bekommt Südfrüchte, Brot und eine Auswahl traditioneller Aufstriche und Beilagen, die alle sehr gut geschmeckt haben. Nachts bleibt alles sehr ruhig, sodass man hier wunderbar schlafen kann.

Leider wurde es beim Auschecken etwas unangenehm. Zunächst wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass ich die Stadtsteuer nachzahlen müsse (etwa 15 €), obwohl wir diese bereits beim Einchecken bezahlt hatten. Die Wirtin behauptete, sie habe keinen Nachweis darüber, dass die Steuer bereits entrichtet worden sei, und ich müsse die von ihr abgestempelte Zahlungsbestätigung vorlegen, um nicht ein zweites Mal zahlen zu müssen. Zum Glück hatte ich diese noch in meiner Tasche. Anschließend sollte ich für den Wäscheservice 130 MAD statt der vereinbarten 100 MAD bezahlen. Ob es sich dabei um einen Missverständnis oder um einen bewussten Versuch handelte, mehr Geld zu verlangen, kann letztlich nur die Wirtin selbst beantworten. Vielleicht lag es auch einfach daran, dass man um 8 Uhr morgens noch nicht ganz wach ist. :) Trotzdem war dies leider ein sehr unangenehmes Ende eines ansonsten sehr angenehmen Aufenthalts. Schade, dass dadurch ein solcher Beigeschmack geblieben ist.

La chambre est un peu exigüe mais cela est compensé par les différents espaces du toit terrasse qui est très joliment aménagé et décoré. On peut s'y installer confortablement à l'ombre pour se détendre ou travailler.

We loved this riad. We stayed at room number 11 and the room was very comfortable. Beds were very comfortable and everything a guest might need was thought of. The breakfast also was very delicious and the staff was super friendly!

Een prachtige kunstzinnige riad met ongekende gastvrijheid. Heerlijk genoten van het balkon dat uitkijkt over Rabat. En zelfs toen ik al uitcheckt was en een paar dagen later gestrand was in Rabat, was de gastvrouw zo vriendelijk om me binnen te laten en zelfs mee te laten eten tijdens het offerfeest terwijl ik op zoek was naar een oplossing voor mijn situatie. In mijn 2 weken reizen door Marokko was dit de allerbeste plek waar ik me thuis heb gevoeld. Onwijs bedankt!

Staying in the medina during Eid was such a special experience. The neighborhood felt alive, authentic, and full of daily life — something you would never get staying in a big hotel outside the old city. A special thank you to the lovely lady at the riad. She was incredibly warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. We had such nice chats together and she really made me feel at home. Her energy added so much character and warmth to the stay.

Ein wirklich wundervolles Riad mitten in der Medina. Die Zimmer und auch das ganze Haus sind wirklich schön. Die Menschen sind sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich. Die Dachterasse ist ein Traum und lädt zum verweilen ein.

Locatie was goed en kamer was ruim. Leuke en schone terras om te zitten.

Kamer stonk heel erg naar iets wij wat wij niet konden omschrijven. Ook hadden we het gevoel dat personeel vaker op een dag ons kamer binnenliep, omdat wij de ramen open hadden staan, zodat het minder stonk. Toen we weer terugkwamen van een tripje waren de ramen gesloten. Ook moet je uitvogelen hoe de airco werkt. Er was een zichtbare raam naar buiten in de badkamer, waardoor je het gevoel hebt dat iemand van buiten je ziet douchen. Wij hebben het afgeschermd met plastic.

A beautiful place to stay. Right in the centre of the medina. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. A really relaxed, safe and peaceful vibe. Rooftop garden is very well kept and a real bonus.

There was a touch of a damp smell in the room - no evidence of dampness at all but still it smelled as though it was. The Medina is a great place to stat but very quiet in terms of any life after 7pm.

We had a wonderful stay at this riad. The location is excellent - right in the heart of the medina and close to everything. The rooms were beautiful, comfortable, and very clean, with an authentic Moroccan atmosphere. We especially loved the terrace, which was perfect for relaxing after exploring the city. Breakfast was amazing, fresh, and generous. The host was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality really made our stay special.

La struttura è molto bella e super pulita.la terrazza molto bella. Colazione ottima. La posizione è ottima, a pochi minuti a piedi dal mare e dalla medina, raggiungibile facilmente e in maniera tranquilla anche la notte. Lo staff considerarlo gentile è poco, disponibili e sorridenti.

This riad is right in the middle of the medina. Very charming and cozy inside. The room was clean and nice. The breakfast was very yumy and the staff was super friendly and helpful.

The only criticism I can think of is that they should include more modern and better located outlets, to match today's need for charging devises with usb plugs. But nothing to complain otherwise.

As this riad is in the center of Rabat, there's a lot of noise until late at night. This is not the responsibility of the riad, of course.
