Nothing just understand it's a BNB and not right on the malecón but with a short ride or walk it's close.

La casa es grande y muy linda y cómoda, cuenta con todo lo necesario para disfrutar de buen descanso, la cama y las amoladas muy cómodas, el baño super práctico porque está separada la regadera, del wc y del lavabo, la TV de muy buen tamaño y es smart TV, así que puede usar sin problema tu cuenta de Netflix. NO tiene cable. Tiene una cafetera y un hervidor de agua y un servicio para café o te. La ubicación esta super bien a 2 calles está el serpentario de la Paz Y A 3 Calles una playa muy agradable de donde salen tours al manglar. El desayuno incluido en el hospedaje es muy bueno, incluye frutita, café o te y huevos al gusto acompañados con pan tostado, mermelada y mantequilla. Los anfitriones son super amables. Gracias por todas sus atenciones

We stayed for 4 nights in a room on the first floor. We liked that it was a quiet, peaceful place. There was a large pool.Good breakfast.

Breakfast is advertised as being from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., but in reality, the time they tell you is 9 a.m. for us. We were only able to have breakfast once because we had excursions that morning, and even when we returned before 10 a.m., we weren't offered anything to eat. The water in the shower drained very slowly. The air conditioning was weak.

First, we want to thank JP, his wife, and his mother Olivia for having us into their home. This is a real home-like experience with very helpful resources. It is a $35-55 peso DiDi ride (better than Uber, in this location) away from "The Action." That is what I wanted. My wife agreed, but our friends felt it was too far away. I think they would have used a car ride service if they were 100 meters from where they wanted to be. We like walking. Not everyone does. There is a big hotel/resort just a block away, also named La Posada, for bar, beach, restaurant, spa treatment, etc. So, there is that. The pool on the property is perfectly sized, clean, and was at optimal temperature and chlorinization levels for my liking. Constructive criticism from owners of La Posada del Rio Sonora, a boutique hotel & restaurant in Banamichi, Sonora, would be just a couple or few suggestions to enhance the experience with little effort and very little cost to owners. 1: rooms that have multiple mini splits should have remotes visibly available and all units functioning. 2: Keep a bag or two of potable ice on hand for guest use. 3: Supply coffee service in rooms for real brewed coffee or have carafe service available.

Loved the architecture and beauty of the property. The pool was amazing. Friendly host and wonderful breakfast.

Just a suggestion to add a few knives and utensils to the kitchen. Other than that, everything was great.

Beautiful and peaceful! It was safe and I felt very secure. The owners are marvelous!

The only drawback was that the beautiful pool was too cold for me! I only made it in waist deep.

The junior suite was spacious and comfortable for a longer stay. We particularly enjoyed the patio balcony. Our hosts, especially John, were friendly and helpful with restaurant and tour suggestions. The neighbourhood felt safe. The breakfasts were good.

A car or use of a taxi is needed to get into the town center as it is a fairly long walk.

Really lovely home. The owners were so nice. They gave us good places to visit and eat while we were there.

Large space with comfortable king bed. Wrap around balcony plus a small balcony off tv room to enjoy the sunset. Nice pool with lounge chairs. Close to a beach. Excellent breakfast fresh cooked to order. Super nice hosts. John was very helpful in planning and reserving tours. Checked in daily to ensure everything is good. Olivia very sweet and helpful.

Not a dislike for me being a little way from malecon and main area of town. Having a car or transport would be helpful.

Breakfast was delicious and served outdoor next to the pool. Our host accommodated our timing and there was a variety to chose from so that everyday we tried something different. I loved to have fruits as we did not risk to eat fruits outside.

The beach close to the house is nice to sit and play but not to swim. So you need to be ready to get in the car to go to a beach. But this is the trade off to be in a quiet beautiful neighborhood.

John Paul the main contact is very helpful and accommodating to the guests needs. The breakfast is excellent with options of your choice. The backyard with swimming pool is a beautiful place to hang out or to dry your water gears.

The breakfast was wonderful, homemade cook meal. spacious room, and very friendly stuff. Felt just like home.

At night the room needed more ventilation, so i needed to keep the ceiling fan on, unfortunately that meant having the light on which was connected to the ceiling fan.

An absolutely charming BnB with equally charming hosts. We felt right at home! The room was big, clean, and comfortable. The pool was lovely to splash in. The location was quiet and convenient. The place has all the charm of old-school travel—wonderful local hosts, character filled rooms, a pretty property and a chance to interact with other guests. We had a blast!

Olivia and John Paul were wonderful hosts and I can’t say enough about their warm and welcoming hospitality. Communication was easy and stress-free from start to finish. The property is located on a quiet street that is within easy driving distance of The Malecon. The house and property are beautiful and well kept, with a sparkling pool and shaded terrace. The rooms are very clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious and cooked to order. It’s a lovely place to use as a base to explore La Paz and area and all it has to offer-we couldn’t have been happier with our stay.

A few more coffee packets in the room for us early-risers would be great.

JP and Pora were so nice and so helpful. The suite was very clean and comfortable, each morning as we eat at breakfast they would ask whether you require the room to be cleaned or fresh towels ( provided extra beach towels for our adventures) It's a very relaxed environment and only a very short and cheap 'Indrive" into Malecon. Hummingbirds, Parrots and woodpeckers keep you entertained poolside. Thank you for your hospitality.

A gorgeous property with a courtyard and pool plus enclosed gated parking avail if you want to rent a car. Fantastic cooked breakfasts every day with fresh fruit. Very welcoming owners with fantastic recommendations for tours and sightseeing hookups. We had an excellent stay!

I had the most wonderful time staying here, so much so, I returned to La Paz to stay more nights. The property is a beautifully safe environment with a gorgeous pool area and comfortable rooms. I loved the warm atmosphere created by the hosts and the breakfasts they served every morning in the main house. They are easy communicators who will do what they can to make your stay fantastic. I am a solo traveller and felt at home with this generous family. In short, I loved everything.

There was nothing i didn't like - but it's worth noting that the property is not in the centre. I enjoyed this aspect and had no problem getting around without a car. I loved this wide open street and the neighbourhood.

Lovely owners who went above and beyond to ensure we had whatever we needed during our stay, thank you so much. The property was beautiful, with well maintained gardens, courtyard and a massive pool. There are only a couple of rooms so it was very quiet and peaceful. Bed was very comfortable, air con worked well, and there was great shower pressure. It felt very secure.

It is a little further out of town - I knew this when I booked, but just in hindsight I think I'd prefer to be somewhere a little more walkable to restaurants and bars. The room we booked was downstairs and had very limited natural light. There was a small adjoining kitchenette which I didn't anticipate, but I was informed that nothing aside from the fridge worked.

This is heaven on earth, with the kindest family as hosts. They helped with trips and onward transfers.

It was a quiet location away from the busy area. The house was lovely. We felt welcomed by the hostess Olivia.

The house and rooms we stayed in were amazing and very tranquil. It’s even nicer than in the pictures! Super clean, comfy bed and all amenities as described. The hosts were extremely helpful and the breakfast each day was made to perfection! We’d love to stay here again!

Olivia was so friendly and helpful to us. She let us check in early and leave our things to collect them later on check out day. The house was very cosy and homely. The homemade breakfast was tasty.

It was quite far out of the centre, a 45-1 hour walk. We didn’t mind that but just so you know!

The place itself is very nice .small just a few rooms I believe 3 rooms .breakfast was included and always very nice .The staff was really nice too....if you have a car yiu can reserve a spot in the garage they will provide a remote garage opener for the duration of your stay..The location is in a very nice residential area .Although the place itself is very quiet , there are some dogs across the street that start barking very early morning .like 6 am..So just be aware of that.. This is not the fault of the Posada of course as they have no control over other people pets behavior.. Over all we enjoyed our stay ....

Our stay was exceptional. The room was very large, comfortable and beautifully decorated. There were choices for breakfast and it was delicious. The owner’s son was extremely helpful providing good recommendations for where to eat and activities. The house is a little ways out of the downtown area if you don’t have a car, but the owner’s son arranged a taxi for us when needed~ both to take us where we wanted to go and bring us back. I highly recommend La Posada del Tepeyac.

The location is great, in a quiet neighborhood. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. The breakfast provided by the host was delicious.

Room is so small and dark, with only one small window that can be opened. If you are out for fun during the day, just use it for sleeping, then it may be suitable.

Accommodating and helpful hosts, attentive and prompt communication, lovely comfortable setting. Couldn’t have asked for more.

Nothing. But be aware that the guesthouse is not in the centre of town, so it's a 20 minute walk or cheap uber to get there. The walk is pleasant and safe, but the pavements are very uneven.

Wonderful staff, great amenities. The pool was a real plus to relax at the end of the day after a nice time in La Paz. The woman taking care of the house/breakfast is very friendly and full of great attentions.

John Paul and his family went above and beyond to take care of our needs. He gave us great recommendations for places to go and even called to make dental and doctor appointments for us since our Spanish is so minimal. The room was spacious and quiet, the pool and gardens lovely and the daily custom cooked breakfasts were delicious. Good location close to the beach and quick drive to the Malecón. Great value!

Beautiful garden and pool. Spacious and comfortable room with doors onto upper level. Very helpful and friendly host. Spotlessly clean. Only 3 guest rooms so very quiet and felt like a private hotel.

Full breakfast daily with fresh fruit and many options cooked to your preference. In warm sunny weather the garden and patio seating areas were lovely.

Location was a bit too far to walk back in evening. House had safe parking but it was hard to find parking for our car in town near restaurants because we visited during Carnival week. Chair in room was stained. Couch foam was broken down and was very uncomfortable to sit on. Something in room smelled like old moldy fabric until you opened the windows for a bit.

Jean Paul was super nice, so was our room and the pool is exactly what you need after a hot day, also an amazing value for money, definitely would stay here again if I would go to la paz. In addition, for two of the mornings we had to leave early, and jean Paul was so kind to make us special boxes and coffee so we wouldn't miss out on breakfast

A little far from the main area, like 35 mins walking, we had a car so wasn't a real issue but could be a little unpleasant in the heat

I have been traveling this big beautiful planet of ours now for 15 years. I have seen 50 amazing countries and stayed in all sorts of places. The hospitality of John Paul leaves me speechless! Such a kind and caring soul who treats his guests like family. The accommodations are far more than anyone can hope for! Amazing tranquility and luxury. My only regret was not discovering this amazing place before.

The accommodation was very clean, well maintained and very comfortable. I spent 6 nights there and found it to be perfect location, far enough away from the main centre but close enough to walk or uber which are very well priced. The other main factor for me were the hosts Jean Paul and Por his wife. I mean Jean Paul just couldn't have done enough for me with his local knowledge and contacts and both Jean Paul and Por, along with their gorgeous little baby daughter were the perfect hosts.

The location was about 2 blocks from the beach and pretty close to the Malecon. John Paul was a great host and also provided suggestions on activities and lunch/dinner.
