Reviewed Sep 1, 2026We were looking for an accomodation between Gent and Bruges which offered an outdoor space for the children after the city visits. The boys, 9 and 11, loved the trampolin and the football field. The pool which we could rent for an hour in the evening, was an additional bonus, altough with extra charge. We loved the quietness and being in the nature with fields surrounded. We enjoyed the visits of the 2 cute cats. The room was spacious enough for the 4 of us. Yes, the steps to the upper bedroom are steep but it was all fine for us and it was nice having this bedroom for a little hide out for the kids. We hope to return one day. Thank you Liesbeth

Reviewed Aug 20, 2026Волшебный дом посреди ничего. Восход, закат, звезды, пасущиеся коровы, полевые цветы - о большем и мечтать нельзя. Хорошо оснащенная кухня, свой собственный дворик, где завтраки и ужины с видом на поле. Огромный плюс - большая детская площадка с батутом, петанком, разными качелями, футбольным полем. Родители отдыхают - дети заняты. И главное - рядом никого. До моря, Брюгге или Гента - совсем близко. В пяти минутах езды есть волшебный молочный автомат со свежайшим молоком.
На втором этаже, где спальня, достаточно душно - нет своего окна. Душ внизу очень классный, но с прозрачными стенами - если путешествуете семьей - это ок, наверное, но если с друзьями - готовьтесь, что после этого они станут вашей семьей). С другой стороны, мне очень нравилось мыться в душе и смотреть на закат. А еще нас всех покусали какие-то мошки. Так всегда на ферме - просто будьте готовы и берите средства защиты.

De douchesteentjes deden pijn aan mijn voeten na zo'n lange dagen wandelen, maar het was een aangenaam verblijf!

Reviewed May 18, 2026Omdat ik nooit ontbijt, kan ik daar niets over zeggen, was wel fijn dat het ontbijt niet inbegrepen was in de prijs. Gratis koffie wel. Zo fijn dat er een eigen badkamer is, klein maar fijn met alle luxe, zoals een badjas, handdoeken zat, föhn, shampoo, douchgel, zeep.
Voor mij viel er niets tegen.

Reviewed May 18, 2026Le lieu est très joli, la ville également, le logement est propre, bien agencée, la douche est immense, la propriétaire est adorable, mention spéciale au petit chat et ses chatons. La situation géographique est impeccable, entre Bruges et Gand c'est parfait. Les jeux pour enfants dans le jardin sont top, avec un trampoline, un terrain de pétanque et de foot, des balançoires...
Les oreillers mériteraient d'être un peu plus épais, les escaliers de l'appartement sont vraiment difficilement praticables pour un enfant (5 ans, il a glissé, ils sont vraiment étroits et extrêmement pentus), nous sommes arrivés peu après l’épandage et les odeurs étaient vraiment très fortes durant 2j.

Auch sonst war die Ausstattung super, Babybett und Hochstuhl waren verfügbar, die Küche hat alles, was das Herz begehrt, selbst Ofen und Waschmaschine wären vorhanden gewesen (brauchten wir aber nicht). Nette Besitzerin eines privat geführten, echten Familienunternehmens. Das Außengelände sah toll aus, leider hatten wir schlechtes Wetter.
Etwas auf der teuren Seite. Die niedrige Deckenhöhe auf der Empore, wo die Betten sind, und die steile Treppe waren mit Baby eine kleine Herausforderung

Le manque d’eau à disposition ! Nous avions une bouteille d’1L5 et aucun autre moyen de boire au robinet car c’était interdis.

The only thing that could have made it better was a little pre information sent us, or a folder at the place with some information about the place or localities. We didn’t even know what to do on arrival & had to rely on the host replying to our messages once we were there.

Reviewed Aug 31, 2025This is how it is supposed to be done! Lisabeth is an amazing host and the work they have put in to this property is impeccable craftsmanship and no corners have been cut here. Highest quality. The location overlooks fields and an amazing sunset. The outside area is just as good as the property, our kids loved the play area too. Great parking next to the property. The property inside is spotless, super clean and the very modern in style. All the fixtures and fittings are of high standard. The shower is the best shower ever with lashings of hot water from the large rose head noodle shower. You simply could stay in there for ever. All the kitchen facilities are great, clean and have all that is needed. The beds were good, even the sofa bed was a good quality mattress which made it very comfortable for 2 adults. We stayed on the sofa bed while the kids had the beds upstairs. I was worried about sleeping on a sofa bed but was great and got a good night sleep and woke up feeling great. Good quality sofa bed in my opinion. We stay in a lot of properties and I would put this property in my top 5 and would consider staying again next year for longer. Also, 21 mins from Bruges. which is ideal and 5 mins from the nearest Aldi store.
Toilet room is a bit small.

Reviewed Aug 14, 2025Das kleine Ferienhaus liegt wunderbar versteckt zwischen Wiesen und Weiden, eine Oase der Ruhe. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr nett und hat uns begrüßt und alles gezeigt. Der Garten grenzt an eine Kuhweide, die Kinder haben es geliebt - genau wie den fantastischen Spielplatz, der direkt neben dem Garten liegt. Brügge und Gent sind in der Nähe.
Es war alles hervorragend, die Bettwäsche ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und könnte ersetzt werden, ansonsten gab es nichts zu bemängeln.

Doccia suggestiva, doppia e con vetri a specchio direttamente sul soggiorno (da dentro vedi fuori ma da fuori non vedo dentro). Giardino molto curato a disposizione, con altalene, salterello, reti, campo da bocce. Signora molto gentile
In 4 è un po' piccolo. Altezza mansarda limitata. Penso nessuno possa riuscire a stare dritto in piedi. WC in stanza dedicata. Divano letto non comodissimo.

Reviewed May 8, 2025Perfect location who likes green tourism - quite place, a lot a green plants and animals around. You can buy fresh farmer strawberry, milk and eggs near by. The owner Liesbeth was very helpful and friendly to all our requests. The house is clean and well equipped with all necessary kitchen stuff. It has a terrace with a nice view where you can observe a sunset. There are well maintained playground with trampoline and small football field. Very close to Brugge and Gent. It is a place where you want to come back!
The bedroom upstairs is with low сeiling, which can cause some problems for high people, but for kids it was ok.

The only small inconvenience to us was that the house we were in had a very small toilet and my husband struggled to fit in there with the door closed! 😂 but it was manageable.

There are friendly cows nearby and different farms near the place, but they don't disturb; instead, they add to the peaceful atmosphere. The exceptionally tasty breakfast caters to both sweet and non-sweet eaters. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Perhaps having a vent would not hurt, but the nights were so fresh. There's nothing else to add. It's a very good and cozy place.

Reviewed Aug 10, 2023Very friendly and helpful owners! Very tasty breakfast, but I wouldn't order it any more on the day we're leaving, as it felt a bit rushed because of that. But definitely a very nice way to start the other days of your holiday! Yummy... 😋
We missed some oil in the kitchen, all other necessities were available though. We probably would have gotten some if we'd had asked for it, but we didn't bother to.
