Huize Koempoelan

What a beautiful place to stay, we had the most wonderful greeting from the hosts and were shown around the extensive gardens to signpost all the amenities such as heated nature pool, hot tub, sauna etc. The gardens also have some wonderful places to sit and watch the river or sunset which we did and thoroughly enjoyed. We also enjoyed sitting on the balcony just watching the wildlife. The quality breakfast was served at a little table just outside our room which was a lovely touch. Since we travelled by e-bike it was great to be able to put the bikes under cover in the stables where there was power for charging. In short this is a superb place to stay.

Helaas is ons verblijf door het plotselinge overlijden van ons hondje, waardoor we eerder moesten vertrekken, beperkt gebleven tot één nacht. Ondanks deze verdrietige omstandigheden hebben we de rust en de prachtige omgeving enorm gewaardeerd. Huize Koempoelan ligt op een schitterende plek midden in de bossen. De kamer was prachtig ingericht en sfeervol, en ’s ochtends genoten we van een heerlijk ontbijt. We werden gastvrij ontvangen door Willemijn en Arthur. Ondanks de omstandigheden kijken we met een goed gevoel terug op ons korte verblijf.

Niets Het laatste stukje, naar de B&B, als je de bossen in rijd is even zoeken. Maar wanneer je de oprijlaan hebt gevonden, en deze afrijd, dan komt er een prachtige accomodatie te voorschijn.

Tolle Gastgeber und ein einzigartiges Ambiente. Der Schwimmteich war wunderschön. Vor dem tollen Frühstück eine Runde schwimmen.

Het ontvangst, de omgeving, de kamers. Alles eigenlijk. Ze hadden op mijn verzoek een mooie fles champagne en een gigantisch boeket neergezet.

Dat we weer naar huis moesten.

Wunderschönes Anwesen in mitten der Natur. Geschmackvoll eingerichtete Zimmer mit bequemen Betten. Super nette Vermieter, die uns ein sehr leckeres Frühstück servierten. Außerdem gab es auf dem Grundstück einen Schwimmteich, eine Sauna, einen Whirlpool, einen Grill und überall im liebvoll gestalteten Garten Sitzmöglichkeiten, um zu entspannen. Alles war ganz phantastisch!

Prachtige locatie, vriendelijke hosts, comfortabele en fijne kamer, schoon, heerlijk ontbijt. Alles perfect!

Das Hazs ist sehr ruhig gelegen wunderbar zur Erholung. Der Schwkmmteich und det Garten ist sehr schön gestaltet. Auch die Einrichtung ist sehr schön. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig.

Die Toilette ist nicht im Zimmer sondern 1 Stockwerk tiefer, war für uns kein Problem, wenn man aber nicht so gut zu Fuss ist, ist dies eventuell nicht so komfortabel.

Wat een prachtige plek!

De rust ..de ruimtes in en rondom het huis ..geweldige mensen..zeer gastvrij en de accommodatie zelf was echt grandioos!!

Enige nadeel was dat wij een kamer hadden waar het toilet beneden was. Omdat ik slecht ter been was was dat wel een opgave als je snachts eruit moest.

Als je aankomt, is de prachtige omgeving het eerste wat je opmerkt. De eigenaren zijn echt super vriendelijk en laten je meteen thuis voelen. 's Morgens staat er een gevarieerd en zeer smakelijk ontbijt op je te wachten, en als je iets anders wil, kan dat ook geregeld worden. Daarnaast kan je op vele plekken op het erf heerlijk in de zon of in de schaduw zitten. Echt genoten!

De slaapkamers zijn helaas niet voorzien van horren voor de ramen.

De omgeving is prachtig en magisch. Het huis waarin je verblijft is zo ontzettend mooi. Arthur en Willemijn zijn ontzettend lieve en gezellige mensen die je ontzettend goed verzorgen als in welkomstdrankje, ontbijt en het opruimen van de kamer. Wat een luxe en totaal niet verwacht.

One of the best accommodations i have stayed at. Beautiful property, peaceful surroundings and exceptional hospitality. The owners genuinely care about their guests, which is becoming increasingly rare these days.

De locatie is prachtig. De kamers zijn ruim en goed voorzien van alle gemakken Het ontbijt en de koffie was heerlijk. De eigenaren hebben aan alles zorg besteed om hun gasten een fijn verblijf te geven.

Le cadre dans une belle nature où aussi bien les infrastuctures extèrieures qu'iintérieures sont agencées avec beaucoup de goût et de confort, la décoration à l'anglaise,la propreté,le petit déjeuner copieux l'accueil et la gentillesse de la maîtresse de maison étaient exceptionnels.

Il faut une voiture pour arriver au b and b qui est excentré et un perdu dans la fôret. Améliorez l'indication du b and b en début de chemin. Je peux penser que les gens puissent mettre du temps pour trouver la maison. Le descriptif me faisait penser qu'il y avait un coin cuisine pour cuisiner un peu mais ce n'est pas le cas. Il y a un coin repas qui permet de prendre des repas à ll'emporter et un frigo

Heel vriendelijk ontvangen! Ontzettend mooie locatie. Prachtige lange wandeling gemaakt door bos en over heidevelden. De avond doorgebracht in de sauna, afgekoeld in de zwemvijver en daarna met een wijntje in de hottub. Heerlijk geslapen en een zalig ontbijt op een zonnig balkon met een prachtig uitzicht! Hier gaan wij graag nog eens terugkomen.

Zeer bijzondere locatie, midden in een bos in 't Gooi. De ontvangst van Arthur & Willemijn was super vriendelijk en ook het contact verliep heel fijn. Wat een warme mensen in deze prachtige omgeving, en wát een huis en perceel!

The accommodation was simply stunning – I have never come across such a beautiful house or cottage in my life. Our stay was wonderful, and we felt truly happy there. The hosts were perfect: attentive, always smiling, and very kind. They took excellent care of us – the breakfasts were exceptional, the kind I wish I could have every day. After coming back from trips, we were even welcomed with a fresh juice or a mocktail. The surroundings were enchanting – a peaceful and charming Dutch countryside setting, yet just a short distance from big cities like Amsterdam and Almere. The location was perfectly accessible, and it was impossible to get lost. A real highlight for me was the beautiful horse named Zorba, who made the place feel even more special – I was absolutely delighted with him. The whole stay left me with unforgettable memories. I felt as if I were in a movie or on holiday abroad, and I can honestly say I have never stayed anywhere more beautiful.

Die Unterkunft ist ein Traum, mit viel Liebe und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es gibt einen natürlichen Schwimmteich, man kann perfekt entspannen.

Etwas unglücklich war, dass es auf dem Zimmer keine Toilette gibt. Diese ist eine Etage tiefer. Hat aber letztlich nicht wirklich gestört

Fabulous tranquility of this house. The attention to detail was clear to us upon arriving. The facilities on offer made the stay over and above what we expected.

Very nice and comfortable room with superb bed. The location of the property is surrounded by green, is quiet and in the vicinity of villages and cities. The hosts Willemijn and Arthur are very friendly - really fantastic. We were warmly received with a delicious welcome drink. There is a hot tub, sauna and natural swimming pool.

Our hosts were absolutely lovely. When we arrived we were greeted warmly with a nice drink. Our bed was extremely comfortable, our room was lovely. Breakfast was fantastic and what was nice was that we could bring it into our room and eat leisurely as we looked out our balconey. The surrounding gardens are also lovely to wake up to.

The B&B is located in a beautiful setting. Arthur and Willemijn are wonderful hosts. The breakfast is delicious!

In the middle of nowhere, a beautiful place to stay! Arthur & Willemijn are absolutely sympathic, kind and give you a warm welcome. It’s a wonderful place to stay if you need a rest, to relax and unwind! Breakfast is excellent and served in a very special way. We will definitely book again!

Where do I start.. everything was just so wonderful!! At first it was a little hard to find the house because the street leading to Huize Koempoelan is quite easy to overlook and Google maps lead our car in a completely different direction - but as we found the right street we were just amazed to see the house very nicely embedded in nature and surrounded by pretty green trees and meadows. Everything looked way better than expected compared to the shown pictures and we were just blown away! Huize Koempoelan is a place where the hosts planned every tiny detail from beginning to start. You can really see all the love that was put into making this house. The garden is designed in such a nice way with the options to go swimming in a natural pool, sit at a fireplace (or even try out a jacuzzi or sauna if opened) or just watch the sunset from a picture perfect bench on a hill. There were also horses and a super cute dog making the whole atmosphere very idyllic. Just a perfect spot you would search for as a city hide away. The interior of the house is so lovely and the hosts really have a great taste in style. We just loved all the furniture in our room which was very high quality and thought through and everything was just perfectly matching with one another. When we came to our room we got a fresh pressed juice as a welcome drink which was really nice. We felt very welcomed by the hosts who were doing everything they could to make our visit so beautiful. The room we had was very big and had a balcony where we could sit on and the bathroom was also very modern and nicely designed. We also want to highlight the delicious breakfast we got everyday. It was so nicely arranged and the hosts again thought of every little detail here and made it completely vegetarian for us. We definitely can recommend Huize Koempoelan for a romantic getaway for the weekend! Again thank you so much to the wonderful hosts :)

We can’t think of anything that hasn’t met our expectations! The only thing that would be great would be a sign or something leading the direction to the House. Also it would be nice to have a TV in the room. I get that it’s also nice to have a few days without it but at some point when the weather is bad and you stay in the room some diversion would be great ;) But not a must of course!

just perfect. amazing mansion close to amsterdam, but still amidst nature. lovely walks (forest, heather, water). it’s the dutch version of The Hamptons. lovely hosts. highly recommended.

just be aware that you probably need a car (or come by bike).

Staying with Wilhelmijn and Arthur feels like being guests in a house with history. Very authentic style and perfect for those who like country style and an environment of silence and nature. Very tasty breakfast served in your room.
