It all felt quite functional . The lady that owned the property was on her own and there was not the usual Irish welcome that we have had on any previous visit to Ireland .

Reviewed Jan 13, 2026Maria is an incredible host! So kind, quick to respond, and just welcoming overall. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. There are six parking spaces so that made it easy to travel around. The BNB is in a perfect location. You're within walking distance of Fitz Pub, Hotel Doolin, O'Connor's, the pier, etc. I know already that next time I'm in Doolin I'll stay at Duhblinn. P.S. Ask Maria to meet their precious dog, Banjo!

Assolutamente consigliato sia per la camera con letti veramente comodi, una stanza silenziosa e pulitissima. La colazione eccellente sia dolce che salata irlandese, preparata la momento. I would never stay here again. The property is in poor condition. There was mold and it smelled like cigarettes. Things were broken, including a window that wasn’t sealed properly that howled all night in the wind. It was so bad, the drapes moved even when fully closed. And that wasn’t all. The owner also made racist comments and said derogatory things about other guests that were stay there to us while we were having breakfast. She also told us a story about how a guest recently urinated in one of the beds and how she had to “get a new machine to clean it”, no mattress protector? Maybe you need to get a new mattress at that point! Was that in the bed I just slept in?!? Additionally, the breakfast was of poor quality. Even the glassware and water pitches were chipped. It’s a safety issue. Are we drinking glass?

Informed of dog poop just outside but no one cleaned it. Drafty windows.. Items left behind from previous guests in drawers. Behind radiator dirty and mold and dust in bathroom. Inappropriate picture in dining area.

There was nothing we didn't like. Hikers should know though that it is not an option any longer to walk from Doolin to the Cliffs of Moher along the cliff path.

Schade war, dass es abends kein warmes Wasser fürs Duschen gab (nach 22 Uhr) und auch die Steckdosen zum Laden vom Handy ohne Strom, erst morgens gab es dann beides wieder.

J'ai bien aimé la liberté d'arriver à l'heure qu'on veut et en autonomie. C'est pratique. A quelques minutes à pieds il y a des bars et des restaurants pour le soir. Pas besoin de ressortir la voiture. Les falaises de Moher sont à 9kms.

First Ireland hotel I've experienced with a bad Internet connection. I felt I was being accused of creating a scene because the passcode didn't work. In short, it did when I logged on directly in front of the modem instead of from my room. The situation was resolved but my interactions with the hotel staff made me uncomfortable.

Maria was attentive and on top of things. Location was perfect for the Doolin caves and the cliffs of Moher. Several choices in walking distance for supper and a bit longer if wanted to walk to the pier.
