Reviewed Jul 11, 2026Beautiful clean,spacious & very comfortable accommodation.The shower head is well maintained and gives a decent shower.The air con is quiet & together with the electric blanket makes a comfortable winter overnight.Dawn is a wonderful hostess who truly has her clients interest at heart & this is again evident at breakfast where fresh mushrooms were served with a hearty English breakfast . We will definitely be visiting again.

Reviewed Jun 13, 2026We loved the warm welcome by Dawn. Our room was very spacious and even had a separate kitchenette with fridge and microwave. We had breakfast in a cosy breakfast room and it was delicious. Dawn assisted us with dinner reservations as well.

Reviewed Jan 4, 2026Accomodatie is geweldig! Echter in het dorp is het uitgestorven. Maar wij zijn op doorreis en dan is dit DE locatie. Restaurant op 1,5 km rijden. Voor een compleet menu met wijn Euro 30,- Voor ons Nederlanders is dit terug naar 1970😂

Dawn was a most welcoming hostess and provided us with a breakfast to die for. She also made a dinner reservation at a restaurant for us. Also liked that we only had to pay by card about a week before arriving.
My mushrooms at breakfast were a bit cold. Nothing else we did not like.

Reviewed Aug 25, 2025Freundliche Gastgeberin- bucht gleich Plätze für das Abendessen. Nettes Gespräch über Südafrika und die Besonderheiten. Sehr gutes Frühstück- liebevoll angerichtet in einer Rundhütte, die urig eingerichtet ist. Bequeme Betten mit Heizdecke. Die Klimaanlage lässt sich als Heizung nutzen. Kleine Terrasse mit Blick auf den Garten. Wir haben auf unserer Reise in den Norden auf dem Hin- und Rückweg hier übernachtet und würden es jederzeit gern wieder tun.
Zwischen Schlaf-und Wohnzimmer gibt es keine Tür.

The hostess was exceptionally friendly and even went the extra mile to arrange a restaurant booking for us. We will definitely choose to stay here again when passing through.
