Alles ein bissl in die Jahre gekommen aber das macht auch wieder den charme aus

Die Inhaberin ist herzlich, wie man es bei Menschen aus dem Ruhrpott oft erlebt. Sie hat ihr kleines familiengeführtes Hotel mit Liebe eingerichtet. Alte Möbel, bunte Farben und ein atemberaubender Blick aus dem Fenster schaffen ein Wohlfühlklima. Pierre, ihr Mann, ein Südfranzose, sieht nicht nur aus, wie ein Koch, die ausgesuchte Speisekarte macht die Wahl schwer. Geranien an den Fenstern und ein gepflegter Garten vervollständigen den Eindruck eines gepflegten kleinen Landhotels, von denen es heute nur noch wenige gibt Vom „“Weißen Kreuz“, das ich mit fünf Sternen bewerten würde, ist es eine Viertel-Autostunde nach Ilanz. Ich empfehle für Frühstück, Mittagessen und Zutaten für ein Picknick den schweizweit bekannten Migros. In einer weiteren Viertelstunde ist man am Munts Davos, ein Bergsee mit erstaunlich warmen Wasser in malerischer Umgebung. Ein Geheimtipp wie das Hotel. Vier statt fünf Sterne im Bereich Komfort habe ich gegeben, weil ich ein Zimmer mit Etagendusche hatte, was aber total sauber und deshalb unproblematisch war.

De hosts waren ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Toen we aankwamen kregen we meteen aangeboden om mee te eten, dus dat hebben we gedaan. Het ontbijt de volgende ochtend was voortreffelijk! Er stonden veel streekproducten op tafel. De kamer was ook comfortabel. Wij zouden dit zeker aanraden!

Sabina und Pierre sind immer herzlich und hervorragende Gastgeber, das Frühstück und das Abendessen sind ausgezeichnet, Sterne Küche vom Feinsten. Die Einrichtung des Hauses ist liebevoll gestaltet und sehr gemütlich.

La propriétaire est très accueillante. Le dîner, bien que simple, est délicieux, et le petit-déjeuner est copieux.

Sehr gutes Essen - abends, wie morgens. Tolles, individuelles Frühstück. Sehr schönes altes Haus mit modernen Sanitäranlagen, das von seinen Besitzern gepflegt und gehegt wird. Schöner, kleiner Garten.

Fliegengitter wären gut, da es hier auf dem Land viele Fliegen gab. In der kühlen Nacht waren diese aber weg...

Super & Persönlich

Sabina and Pierre were the perfect hosts. The room was great, beautifully decorated and with a very comfortable bed. There was place in the locked garage for our bicycles. The dinner was wonderful, the taste bringing us back to our time in France. The breakfast was also very tasty, with a freshly baked bread, local cheese and meat selection. I wish we could have stayed a little longer!

Preis-Leistung sehr gut.... Essen (Abend- und Morgenessen) sehr fein und mit Liebe zubereitet.

Breakfast good. Evening meal good. Host keeps a very clean house & provided a warm welcome.

Room wasn't ensuite. There was a mixup somewhere between twin room & double room that didn't get fixed. Not the fault of the host, but like everything in Switzerland it was clean, efficient & amazingly expensive compared to Germany, France, Austria or the United Kingdom.

Absolut zu empfehlen. Ich war leider nur eine Nacht. Die Zimmer sind sehr gemütlich und ruhig. Die frisch zubereiteten Capuns und das Frühstück waren sehr lecker, daher auch ohne Übernachtung auf jeden Fall einen Stop wert.

Very friendly host, excellent breakfast

Sabina und Pierre waren wundervolle Gastgeber. Trotz später Anreise gab es noch ein vorzügliches Abendessen. Und dann am nächsten Morgen ein liebevoll zubereitetes Frühstück direkt am Tisch serviert. Wir sagen vielen Dank, wir können nur empfehlen mal vorbeizuschauen. Wir kommen wieder.

Das Frühstück war super! Sehr ruhige Lage trotz Hauptstrasse. Die Zimmer sind sehr charmant und liebevoll eingerichtet.

Die Toilette auf der Etage ist ungewohnt.

Das Frühstück ist ein Highlight dieser Unterkunft. Es hat genügend Parkplätze und auch die Gastgeberin ist nett und zuvorkommend solange alles nach Plan läuft.

Den Geruch der Unterkunft uns speziell auch unserer Zimmer hat uns überhaupt nicht gefallen. Es hat alles nach Essen gerochen und manchmal auch nach Zigarettenrauch, auch wenn wir nicht in der Gaststube waren. Da muss definitiv etwas an der Lüftung gemacht werden.

Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt in der Ustria Crusch Alva. Die Zimmer waren gemütlich, die Sanitäranlagen sauber und das Personal extrem freundlich. :) Aber das Beste war das Essen. So gut gegessen haben wir schon lange nicht mehr…

Das einzige, was es zu bemängeln gibt, war für uns die Lage. Wir hätten uns gewünscht, in Obersaxen oben eine Unterkunft zu haben. Sonst war jedoch alles super.

No en-suite bathroom and normally this would mark a place down but it was no problem at all.

Tout était parfait ! L'accueil très chaleureux, les tenanciers extrêmement attentionnés et sympathiques, très proches des clients. La nourriture excellente, C'est avec une certaine émotion que nous avons quitté cet établissement que nous recommandons à toute personne désireuse de se sentir "comme à la maison". Nous y reviendrons si nous décidons de revenir dans les Grisons.

Die Besitzer Sabina und Pierre sind sehr sympathisch, das Frühstück ist sehr gut und schmackhaft mit frischen Produkten aus der Region. Es sind sehr erfahrene Personen, die dies seit vielen Jahren beruflich und aus Leidenschaft tun, sie haben viel Erfahrung in diesem Bereich. Hat uns alles gefallen!

Amazing hosts. I was completely soaked and cold after cycling in the rain. They welcomed me and took such great care to get me warm and clean again.

It was a really pleasant stay in this historical former post office building with very friendly staff and yummy breakfasts made from local products.

The hotel is very cozy. Quite location. Great breakfast. Dinner was also good. I stayed during the winter and was the only guest, so my case is a bit exceptional, for example, although the room had no bathroom, I had the place to myself, so for me it was good value.

Wonderfully quirky and welcoming hotel next to the train station in a beautiful walking and cycling location. Also brilliant food.

We really loved staying at Ustria Crusch Alva! The host was so kind and friendly! We enjoyed every bit of it. Even the separate toilet is completely okay! Everything was clean, bedding was so comfy, we had the best sleep and rest that we needed !

Very nice and caring host. The place is sparkling clean and I had no problems with sharing the bathroom and the toilet. Breakfast was tasty and generous. The accommodation is located near the railway station and is a great choice when doing a bike trail.

We had a fantastic stay at this bed and breakfast! The host was very kind and wonderful, and spoke great English. Very idyllic Swiss lodge. The restaurant serves excellent food for breakfast (included), and dinner (separate charge). Since we were on a cycling trip, they we’re able to store our bikes in the back. Highly recommend!

The welcome was great and we felt at home right away. The room was super clean and he breakfast amazing. Even our teenage kids had nothing to complain about, they loved it. We also had dinner on site and were able to taste various local specialities. Sabina and Pierre are super hosts,I recommend the place to everyone going to that area.

Sabine's capuns are without any doubt the best ones I have ever had. The breakfast is copious and made of local ingredients. Food at Crusch Alva is like poetry. You can feel that the owners put their soul into their work.

Food was amazing and staff very friendly. They prepared me a lunch box while I was leaving very early. Very much appreciated.

Sabine is a lovely host who will ensure a welcoming experience. She is thoughtful as well as entertaining and makes sure you are comfortable. Both diner and breakfast were excellent. The handmade, professional grade, Italian style espresso is the icing on the cake. Would definitely visit again.

A classic Swiss B&B, with a generous and kind host, and a couple of cats. Dinner and breakfast were excellent, the views beautiful, and we had a safe place to store our bicycles overnight.
