Reviewed Oct 7, 2025Everything! We couldn’t have wished for a better place to stay for our weekend in Tongeren. The property is absolutely stunning and attention has been paid to every detail from the tasteful decor to the little extras like home made cookies and bread, extra pillows, toiletries, honesty bar and a fabulous breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble for our host Anja who was friendly, well informed about the area and happy to help out with whatever she could. Her English is exceptional!

Reviewed Jul 22, 2025Das ist eine wunderbare Unterkunft. Sehr persönlich - Anja ist eine unglaublich liebe und tolle Gastgeberin. Lage für Ausflüge nach Maastricht und Lüttich perfekt und auch der kleinere Ort Tongeren hat seinen Charme. Das Frühstück ist Weltklasse ...es bleibt kein Wunsch unerfüllt. Besonders lecker - neben den vielen regionalen Produkten - waren die selbstgemachten Marmeladen. Jederzeit empfehlenswert und auch die Parkplatzsituation war kein Problem. Abendessen : In "Ben's Café" am Marktplatz hat es uns hervorragend geschmeckt.
Keinerlei Grund zu Beanstandungen!

Anya met us every morning at breakfast and cooked is eggs, bacon and home made blueberry muffins to go along with their amazing breakfast spread. We've stayed at two hotels and another B&B in Tonguren and this was the best place we stayed. We highly, highly recommend Guadium XII and will be staying there again. Great hosts,

Our hosts were so friendly and kind- they were a highlight to our stay. It’s very centrally located so it was convenient to pop back with the treasures we found rather than carrying them all day. We‘d definitely stay here again!

Large, spacious and immaculate room and the host made us feel very welcome and shared her knowledge and passion for the town and local area. Breakfast offered a great choice of homemade baked goods, jams and local fruit juices. An added bonus was their interest in artisan beers and antique beer collectables adorning the communal spaces.

Starting with a very warm welcome, a nice and quiet place in the middle of the town, great rooms with a lot of comfort, and a lovely breakfast. Car park, restaurants, etc. just a few meters away. We enjoyed our stay very much and highly recommend this place.
