Koen ist ein wahnsinnig freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Er hat schon vorher viele Tipps zu Anreise und Veranstaltungen gegeben, hat einen kleinen Kuchen vorbei gebracht und war sehr bemüht und nachsichtig, als es ein Missverständnis meinerseits wegen des Hausschlüssels gab. Das Zimmer hat alles, was es für 2 Nächte braucht und die Metrostation ist sehr schnell zu erreichen. Wer nicht unbedingt mitten drin sein muss, der ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben.

Tout était parfait et la localisation pour mes filles pouvoir se rendre au Johan Cruijff Arena était top avec le métro à côté. Idem pour profiter d'une journée shopping dans le centre d'Amsterdam. De plus, la rue est très calme et il est très facile de garer la voiture à un prix très attractif!

Excellent guesthouse in a lovely wee residential area & it was just a few minutes walk to the station so really easy to get into Amsterdam. Room had everything you needed & was really clean and comfortable. Koen was really kind and helpful with directions and showing us all the facilities in the room. Would recommend a stay here!

Wat een heerlijke ruimte op een prima locatie!

Uit de informatie had ik niet begrepen dat we bij de eigenaren in huis verbleven, maar dat was echt uitstekend!

Pobyt w Amor Guesthouse był cudowny. Bardzo polecam każdemu, kto planuje wyjazd do Amsterdamu. Gospodarze byli bardzo sympatyczni i pomocni. Starali się by nasz pobyt został mile zapamiętany i chętnie służyli radą. Lokalizacja była bardzo dobra. Stacja metra znajduje się 5 min spacerem i można z niej łatwo dotrzeć do centrum Amsterdamu (podróż bezpośrednio do dworca centralnego zajmuje ok. 20 min). Pokój był czysty, zadbany i bardzo przytulnie urządzony. Znajduje się w nim wszystko czego potrzeba.

Quartiere tranquillo, non si sente nessun tipo di rumore che possa dar fastidio. Alloggio a pochi metri dalla stazione di Gein (capolinea). Letto comodo, buona pulizia, buona comunicazione con l’host. Privacy e riservatezza. Nonostante non ci sia la finestra in bagno vengono neutralizzati tutti gli odori quindi perfetto.

Scale a chiocciola un po’ difficili ahahah, le finestre non si aprono tanto quindi è un po’ difficile far passare l’aria.

Sehr netter Vermieter, sehr gute Anbindung an die Innenstadt und das Stadion.

Everything was perfect from The owner to the room itself

I normally never write opinions on booking but here i got to write that this was the best stay of my life! The hosts are so nice and caring, the room is comfortable and feels like home because of little details such as board games, snacks etc. The location is good because its not in the centre so its more chill, but connections to the centre are amazing! Overall it was 10/10 stay and we truly recommend this room to anyone who needs a good accommodation in Amsterdam:) thankyou Koan and Alvin!

Posizione ottima perchè vicino alla fermata della metro, zona tranquilla e silenziosa. Letto molto comodo. Stanza pulita e proprietario molto gentile e disponibile. P.S. il muffin salato con la cioccolata, che abbiamo trovato in omaggio in stanza, veramente molto buono.

The location is great! It’s super close to the Gein metro station in a very cute neighbourhood so traveling to the city is super convenient. The hosts are very warm and welcoming and thought of every detail :)

Host super gentile ed accogliente. La casa è molto carina, pulita ed ordinata…unica pecca sono le scale a chiocciola un po’ strettine, ma nulla di che. Nonostante sia lontano dal centro di Amsterdam, è ben collegata, essendo vicina alla metro.

Es ist schön ruhig, man ist schnell in der Stadt, wenn man die Metro nimmt und das Zimmer hat wirklich alles, was man braucht. Eine Dusche, ein Bad eine Mikrowelle, Kühlschrank usw. Alles super!

Une chambre parfaite pour découvrir Amsterdam. Elle est située très près du métro. Le temps de trajet jusqu’au centre est raisonnable (environ 20 minutes). Jolie et confortable, nous étions contents d’y retourner le soir. La salle de bain est très bien et l’accueil très agréable. Une adresse à conserver!!

-Sehr netter Kontakt zu Vermieter (Danke, Koen!;-)) und Schwager, der uns empfangen hat -Top Lage: In ein paar Minuten ist man bei der Metro und von da aus in 20 Minuten z.B. in Amsterdam -Ruhige Wohngegend -Noch (?) kostenloses Parken in Nähe des Hauses -Schönes, sauberes Zimmer/Badezimmer, inklusive Kaffeekapseln, Milch, Obst, Süßes.. Sehr aufmerksam-Danke!

-Wir waren ganz oben, im 2 Geschoss. Die Treppen sind gut zu bewältigen, aber sicher nicht was für Jeden.;-)

Very friendly hosts, superb room. An ideal location for either visiting Amsterdam or the RAI whilst enjoying to sleep in a quiet area of the city. At the nearby and at the next Metro station, there are some shops where one could buy everything needed, including tasty breakfast. One needs to understand, that the room is on the 3rd floor and the staircase is Amsterdam-Style.

De rust

Fijn contact, warm welkom, mooie kamer, rustige omgeving, gratis parkeren erg fijn. Kortom helemaal tevreden.

Heel erg goed ontvangen en je voelt je erg welkom. Super dichtbij het metrostation en dus erg makkelijk om richting Amsterdam centrum of elders te gaan. De kamer was top inorde en schoon. Fijne plek! Wij komen zeker nog een keer terug.

Niets eigenlijk. Alles was prima.

Das Gästehaus liegt am Stadtrand: ruhig in einer Wohngegend, mit kostenlosen Parkmöglichkeiten und der Metro quasi vor der Tür. Gemütliches, liebevoll eingerichtetes Zimmer und ein sehr netter Betreiber. Zu unserer Freude stand sogar frisches Obst und Weihnachtsüßigkeiten auf dem Tisch. Vielen Dank, wir kommen gerne wieder, sollten wir nochmal nach Amsterdam kommen!

Struttura molto accogliente, pulita e in ottima posizione a soli 400 mt dalla metropolitana che in 20 minuti porta nel centro di Amsterdam. Il proprietario è sempre molto gentile e disponibile e cerca di farti stare il meglio possibile. La cura dei particolari e l'attenzione che riserva all'accoglienza degli ospiti è quasi commovente. Siamo stati 4 giorni e siamo stati benissimo.

Il locker con la combinazione per aprire la scatola contenete la chiave di ingresso è molto difficile da azionare col buio Le scale sono piuttosto strette e ripide, sicuramente non adatte a persone con difficoltà motoria o con bagagli pesanti.

-Fijne, rustige locatie vlakbij het metrostation. -Leuke ontvangst door Koen, duidelijke uitleg. -Het heerlijke bed, we hebben goed geslapen. -Het is een gezellige, huiselijke kamer, er is aan alles gedacht.

Echt helemaal niks, het was top!

Il proprietario è stato molto accogliente e disponibile: ci ha contattati anche il anticipo per fornirci tutte le indicazioni precise per raggiungere la struttura. Nella stanza erano presenti anche giochi da tavolo e necessario per la colazione (cereali, latte, teiera e macchina per il caffè con cialde e bustine). Posizione a 30 minuti dal centro, utilizzando la metro.

Le propriétaire est extrêmement gentil, le lit confortable, tout est propre, la salle de bain est belle et pratique. Franchement super !

Le seul et unique bémol est la distance avec le centre ville, compter 30mn donc une heure par jour. Je répète le reste est parfait et pour le prix ça reste un bon choix.

Die steilen Treppen sind mit Gepäck sehr mühsam.

Super nice room &friendly host. The house is a bit out of the center in a nice residental area but very close to the metro which allows you to enjoy the city as well as relax. I was just there for one night but would recommend staying there,

The host was very friendly and made sure to get in touch even before our arrival. The location was excellent — just a few steps from the metro and about 20 minutes to the center of Amsterdam. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. There were some fruits and sweets waiting for us in the room as a welcome gesture, which was very thoughtful. I highly recommend this place.

The bedroom was super cozy, the bed comfortable and the bathroom really nice. The host was really nice, even offered me some homemade pastries.

The bedroom gets really warm, but the room has air conditioning. The only thing I didn’t like was that the shower was not clean, but easily fixed

Situated in a very calm neighbourhood. 5 minutes walk to the metro station and supermarket. Room is well designed. You can find there everything you need for a comfortable stay. Books and flower make it cozy like being at home. Large bed and numerous pillows are super comfortable to relax after a long walk. Big windows let a lot of light come in. Fruits, snacks, tea and coffee are carefully left in the room in enough quantity. Host is really careful and super friendly.

It would be a bit complicated to go specific holland stairs up and down with a heavy luggage. If you have a bagpack it is fine.

It is very comfortable, clean and the hosts provide nice touches like fruit milk tea coffee etc. Good transport link to the city and a supermarket very near.

Koen is a great host! Makes you feel welcome. Clean room, everything you need is there. Close to public transport.

For a tall man like me, the shower is a bit small.

The accommodation was clean and cosy. It is not big but there were all necessary things to feel comfortable in the apartment. The owner met us and showed how all things worked from entering till leaving the apartment. He always was ready to help us and answer any questions. He is very friendly and always ready to help. The location is very comfortable and simple for reaching the centre. It was very pleasant to stay here.

Beautiful, clean and cozy room in a quiet neighbourhood, very close to the metro station. Amazing host, very helpful and friendly during the whole stay. Absolutely recommended!

The room is very well equipped and the hosts are super friendly! They had tea, coffee, fruits and a super tasty home-baked cinnamon roll ready for the weary traveler. The bed was comfortable and the environment was pleasantly quiet for a good night's rest. The location is easily reachable by car or metro train, and some facilities including a supermarket were within 5 minutes of walking. All in all: an excellent stay!

Fantastic Stay - Highly Recommended! We had an amazing experience staying at this apartment in Amsterdam. One of the biggest advantages is how conveniently located it is—just a short walk to the metro, which takes you directly to the city center in less than 30 min. This made exploring the city so much easier. The owner was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help us with any questions we had, making us feel very welcome. Another huge plus was the private parking. If you’re traveling by car, this place is a gem, as parking in or near the city center can be extremely expensive. The apartment itself was clean, cozy, and well-stocked with thoughtful touches like snacks, which was such a nice surprise after a long journey. Overall, it’s an excellent choice for anyone visiting Amsterdam, and we’d definitely stay here again!

Everything was really great, from the helpful and kind host to the accommodation and the location. the bed is comfortable and every detail in the accommodation is carefully chosen to make us feel comfortable.

Super nice host and a really nice room!

+Very quiet location with excellent transport links to the more populated parts of the Netherlands (Amsterdam Central, The Hague, Rotterdam, Utrecht). +There are also shops nearby to get anything you might need. + Lots of nice things provided in the room such as coffee pods, milk, fruit and even some homemade cake. +By staying here you more directly support a family in the Netherlands and not just a hotel chain. +The code box to get in and the door locks all worked great and there were no problems with coming back to the house late after evening trips +I came during the quieter months and so everything was a bit quieter. There are multiple rooms available In the house and you effectively "live in" with the landlords that have another business where they are in their own part of the townhouse, not sure how quiet it would be with a full house in a busier period but for me it was great

-The stairs are a bit steep and cramped (which can be typical for a lot of residential houses in the Netherlands). Something to be mindful of if you have mobility issues or are tall and have big feet.

Koen was super flexible and kind. I totally recommend to stay in this room.

Really nice hosts and good location, comfortable stay

The room is comfortable and compact, with everything we need. It includes a private bathroom, hairdryer, coffee maker, and microwave. I found the bed very comfortable. We visited in the summer, so the air conditioning made all the difference.

The house is a bit away from the city center, but it's right next to the station, making it extremely easy and quick to get downtown. I actually preferred being away from the center so we could sleep better.

Staying at this guesthouse was a very nice experience. The hosts are super super nice and the room was clean and comfortable. I definitely would recommend this guesthouse!

The guesthouse is clean and has everything I needed during my stay. The metro is only a few minutes away and it takes only a couple of minutes to get to central Amsterdam. There is also a wellstocked supermarket nearby. The hosts are super nice. I will definitely come back and can recommend this place to everyone!

Even though it was short, this was a great stay. We really enjoyed the amenities, the location, and the hospitality of Amor Guesthouse. I would recommend it to everyone who's planning to visit Amsterdam. It's well-connected, surrounded by nature, and only 25 minutes away from Centraal Station. The room was super clean, and Koen even had coffee, tea, cereal, milk, and some fruits/snacks. All in all, 10/10 stay.

That we couldn't stay longer! We're going to try and book another trip asap and hopefully there's some availability.

A little further out as 25 mins from central station but it was good value and quiet location.

It's the perfect place to stay to visit Amsterdam. Koen is lovely, the room is large and super clean, the bed is comfortable, and the metro is really close (30 minutes to go straight into town).

The hosts are super kind and easy to communicate with. The room was modern, beautiful and clean. The room is near the train station with which you can travel into the centrum of the city in about 20 minutes.

Excellent!! Communication, check in, clean , the bed very comfortable, bathroom very good. Is far from the city center but!! But !! Metro/bus station is at door, so is equivalent to be a center town. With the advantage of be very quiet to rest after a day on the city. Definitely recommend.
