The beds were hard and the room cold. The TV didn't work.

Lovely place with view on the sea. Nice and well equipped room.

Check in latest untill 19:00, no flexibility. After 19:30 no meal in any of the restaurants of the town (except for the Chinese) in August

Sehr nette Besitzer, die mir sogar ein Ladegerät ausgeliehen haben, da ich meinen Adapter vergessen habe. Große Zimmer, generell ein sehr schönes Haus mit einem Raum zum Aufenthalten und einer schönen Leseecke. Leckeres Frühstück.

Qualche problema nelle camere. Mancava la lampada sopra il lavandino. E in un’altra camera era ritta la lampada a soffitto.

It was in a great location for our needs, easy to find. It was quaint, albeit a little dated. But it was clean and you could see pride of ownership in the place.

There was nothing wrong with it. It was just a little dated and therefore lacked a “wow” factor.

The view of the ocean was very relaxing.

The footboard of the bed was too high,it partly blocked the view of the television.

Absolutely loved our stay at the Kemar House. Very comfortable beds and loved the lounge area after a fun day of golf next door at Carne Golf Links.

The quality of the continental breakfast was poor. It was all packaged, processed food from a supermarket.

l'accueil est très avenant. la chambre confortable et la salle de bain attenante permettent de se reposer au calme. le petit déjeuner est très copieux et servi avec beaucoup de gentillesse.

I stay at Kemar House 7+ times a year. I travel to Belmullet for work. Accommodation is always super clean and tidy. The rooms are very quiet, vital as I am working. I often arrive late in evening but kemar host is always obliging to my arrival time. I usually don't eat breakfast as I leave for work at 0700 but coffee/tea always available. My favourite thing about Kemar has to be the little dog Cody. Cody always gives a huge welcome when I arrive after a hard days work!!

The location is superb if a guest is planning to play the Carne Golf Links. A nice view of the bay from many rooms. The cold breakfast was fresh and plentiful. Kevin, the proprietor, was super friendly and informative yet did not hover. Lots of freedom to move about.

WiFi is fairly spotty in bedrooms

Proprieter was very cordial and accommodating. Even did a small load of laundry for us. Room was very clean. Guest areas very comfortable.

We were travelling on bikes. The property was a bit far out of town for us and up a steep hill. However, the owner drove us into town (free) for dinner and we got a hackney to take us home at €5 per head.

Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir hatten ein tolles Zimmer mit einer tollen Aussicht. Es gibt „nur“ kontinentales Frühstück, es gab (trotzdem) alles was man gebraucht hat. Außerdem wurde mehrfach gefragt, ob wir noch etwas brauchen. Sehr aufmerksame Gastgeber. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

WLAN im Zimmer ist sehr schwach bis gar nicht möglich. Nicht schlimm aber man sollte es wissen

Great room and facilities with a view, proximate to Carne GC, which was ideal. Helpful and friendly with local advice and info. Easy access and parking. Close...ish to town.

Very friendly hosts, nice breakfast, spacious rooms and Cody is a real star! Walking to/from Belmullet town is certainly feasible (around 30 mins), if you overdo it on the black stuff!

Very friendly and obliging family, even gave me a lift to Broadhaven bay hotel instead of me paying for a taxi

Maureen and her husband welcomed us like family (as did Codie the dog!) and made us feel totally at home. The continental breakfast was an unexpected treat. The views from the property are spectacular and I only wish we could have stayed longer.

There’s a mention of air conditioning in the description and toiletries - neither were available. However the people are so thoughtful I wonder if there is a mistake in the description.

Nothing as I left within 5 minutes on seeing the room and facilites.

Room was not ensuite as advertised and paid for. There was no tea/coffee/kettle in the room. There was no TV in the room. There was no wardrobe or anywhere to hang your clothes in the room. There was no towels in the room and on checking the bathroom down the hall I could see no fresh towels. I was informed on arrival that they did not do cooked breakfasts as it was too expensive but I could have tea/toast or cereal in the morning. The room was depressing so I just left after 5 minutes. I did not look for a refund so hopefully they can use my 80 Euro to buy a kettle and cups for the next poor fool that gets caught out. Rip off Ireland is alive and well. This might have been acceptable 40 years ago but not today.

Beautiful house in a fabulous location. Very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Great hosts and a wonderful breakfast.

The house is a little bit of a walk from the town. But it was a very pleasant walk. Ideally suited between the town and the golf course or the many walking routes

Everything is top class with lovely, warm and very accommodating owners. Delighted to recommend and definitely would go back again

There is a dedicated lounge room for guest with stunning views of the bay. Large TV, leather sofa and armchairs, coffee table, mini fridge, tea, coffee and biscuits. There is also separate dedicated reading area. Friendly dog, Goodie, my son enjoyed playing with. Rooms are clean, spacious and en-suite.

There was no breakfast at kemar house and no host either i managed to find cereal but nothing else, really strange place no one the place in morning house was empty

Nice home like ambience. Clean, quiet, great sun room, comfy beds, hot shower and lovely side to walk in. Hosts we're helpful but not intrusive.

Kevin and Maureen were very friendly and welcoming. We especially enjoyed the comfortable lounge and Maureen’s pancakes for breakfast. They gave us good advice for places to eat dinner.

The shower in our bedroom wasn't working properly and it was really hard to even set up hot water.

Maureen and her husband are wonderful hosts. Room was spotless and very comfortable. Perfect location close to many beautiful beaches. Very spacious lounge and parking area is a bonus. Me and my son really enjoyed our stay!
