Very clean and spacious rooms. We came back here after our night in the desert. Bathroom is clean and kinda separated so the floor doesn’t get fully wet. Friendly staff with luggage storage available. It’s like 15 minutes walking distance to the fort.
A bit of noise during the evening. One time there was loud music on the rooftop, which they stopped when we requested, and another night a wedding nearby the building, which was out of the hotel’s control.
Very neet and clean property and staff also Mr. Sahil is very helpfull and his management is like superb
Room was big and new! Bathroom was clean. Bed was big. Rooms were well decorated. Staff helped us with our very heavy luggage which was very helpful.
I would recommend making the terrace a little more cozy. I recommend getting a woman’s perspective on it as the team is only men.

This was my very first visit to Jaisalmer, and choosing to stay at Garh Meera turned out to be one of the best decisions I made. From the moment I arrived, the welcome was absolutely heartwarming. The hospitality was genuine—everyone at the property was extremely polite, kind, and always ready to help with a smile, which instantly made me feel at home. The hotel itself is a piece of art. The architecture and the intricate carvings on the walls are simply mesmerizing, reflecting the rich heritage of Jaisalmer. Every corner of the property has been thoughtfully designed, and it truly feels like stepping into a royal haveli. My room was spacious, elegant, and luxurious, offering every comfort I could ask for. But the highlight for me was the jharokha—a beautiful traditional balcony where I spent hours sitting, gazing outside, and listening to music. It created such a peaceful atmosphere that it felt like my soul was being soothed and recharged. Evenings at Garh Meera were magical. We went up to the terrace for snacks, and the view left me speechless. From there, the magnificent Jaisalmer Fort stood right in front of us, glowing golden under the evening light. Watching the sunset while sipping tea and enjoying delicious snacks with that breathtaking view was truly an unforgettable experience. I can honestly say I am more than satisfied with my stay—it was beyond my expectations. A heartfelt thanks to Sahil ji and the entire staff for making my trip so special. Their warmth, attention to detail, and genuine care made all the difference. I would highly recommend Garh Meera to anyone visiting Jaisalmer—it’s not just a hotel, it’s an experience you’ll carry with you forever.

Struttura comoda per raggiungere il centro
Struttura di nuova costruzione ancora da finire Roof top non completo e ancora in disordine.
Camere belle e impeccabilmente pulite, personale gentile e disponibile.
Struttura nuova, in stile tradizionale, estremamente pulita e curata.
The staff was warm and welcoming, and the rooms were spotless. Peaceful atmosphere and close to everything we needed.
We had a wonderful luxury stay in Jaisalmer! The room was stunning, and the entire property (inside and out) you have a beautiful traditional Jaisalmer craftsmanship. Everywhere you look, there’s intricate detail that adds so much charm. The rooftop terrace was another highlight, offering a lovely place to relax with an amazing view of the fort, especially at sunset. The food was delicious, and the owner Sahil truly understands hospitality. Always present and ready to help. A big compliment to the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable. I even got to wear a traditional Indian lehenga for a fun photo shoot. Which was such a unique and memorable experience! Highly recommended if you’re looking for a special stay in Jaisalmer!
The place is really nice. The food was great with a decent view from the terrace. We also had them organize for us a desert trip (only half a day), and overall the experience was ok, it won't be the most "standard" tour but the guide we got took all the possible steps to make it ok. Also the food in the desert was ok and prepared taking care of basic hygiene standards.
The desert trip was ok but we still we had our issues, for example the car was pretty old and this made the ride quite bumpy. The guide was pretty sick and overall he struggles to speak proper English. I feel that if you are looking for something more structured you should go with the more fancy tourists trips. Also notice that you will be just outside the city. That's ok if you do not care about walking short distances but the area is not the nicest.
Very well appointed rooms. The roof top view was amazing. Really helpful staff.
Exceptional rooms and hospitality. The best hotel I stayed in my tour of Rajasthan
The best hotel by very good owner
Liked their hospitality
Amazing location, rooms, restaurants, service. Everything was nice. Will definitely stay here again
The place is beautiful. My room was big, clean and had everything I needed. The staff is friendly. It’s a 15 min walk to the fort.
Very good location close to most of the prime spots. Good rooms. Great fort view. All amenities available!
Nothing as such.
Behaviour of owner Mr. Sahil. He was very cooperative in all the respect right from guiding us about Jaisalmer and arranging cab at reasonable rate.
Very comfortable room. Nice ambience in the guest house. Friendly helpful staff
Roof terrace was a bit bleak
Large comfortable room. Great breakfast and dinner served on rooftop restaurant with fantastic view overlooking fort; large portions and no problem catering for my partner who is Coeliac. Friendly and helpful staff. It’s just a 15 minute walk to the fort and 5 minutes to Sunset Point (which is just behind the hotel).
Nice roomes and very interesting interior best hotel in Jaisalmer must Go
Nice enough hotel and restaurant was good. Location OK.
Staff were not very interested once they failed to sell us an expensive tour based on "quality." We had made our own arrangements. What the "quality" was, never got defined. Laundry was more expensive than elsewhere and only "non budget" hotel, Guesthouse or honestay where we've had to pay for water. Room directly opened onto reception, wasn't that quiet.
Staffs were polite, helpful. Owner sahil guided/helped us for bike, shopping etc. Had a pleasant stay.Highly recommend
Everything was so perfect. They upgrade our room for free giving us an even better experience. Service was prompt and the manager was very polite. Overall a place I would recommend.
There was nothing to not to like. everything was perfect
Really beautiful rooms! All of the staff were very friendly and attentive. We had a perfect stay :-)
The most property totally wow, cozy the food was also good service was nice, love the stay
Excellently designed rooms, very modern looking with a traditional touch inside..spacious . The restaurant om top mud cafe has one of the best views of the fort and tasty food with big portions. Friendly staff. Very helpful witn luggages and all as it has stairs..
My stay at Garh Meera in Jaisalmer was amazing! The staff—Mehrap, Manish, and Sahil—were so helpful and kind. They made sure I had everything I needed, like arranging tours and giving great tips for exploring the city. The Property: The hotel is beautiful, with a traditional Rajasthani design. The rooms are clean, cozy, and nicely decorated. I loved the rooftop area with its amazing views of Jaisalmer Fort and the city. Location: It’s perfectly located! You can walk to Jaisalmer Fort, Patwon Ki Haveli, and busy markets nearby. Even though it’s in the city center, the hotel feels quiet and peaceful. Small Things: There’s no elevator (it’s an old building), but the staff helped carry my bags. Overall: Garh Meera is a wonderful place to stay. Great for anyone who wants to experience real Rajasthani culture, stay in a pretty hotel, and get top-notch service. 5/5 stars!
The food was fantastic!
Best hotel we have stayed in India so far! The owner has put great attention to detail and the rooms are very well decorated with traditional Rajisthani designs. The rooms are spacious, clean and the bed is comfortable with soft bedsheets. Also the building in itself is very beautiful with a great rooftop to see the fort. Besides the food at the rooftop restaurant is very very tasty! Also the owner and all the workers are very attentive and spend time helping you with anything you need giving you special personalised attention. We will come back!!!
Staff was extremely polite and provided awesome service. They upgraded my room free of cost on their own. The stay was completely worth it.
Nothing as such.
Rooms are beautifully decorated. The staff were the most helpful and caring. The rooftop restaurant has great views with delicious food.
We were there in January so it was quite cold, the room was fairly cold. But the staff took care of us and provided a heater.

Mehrab and other hotel staff were very attentive, friendly and kind. They took care of every little need and upgraded our room because it was my birthday week 🙏✨
Outstanding Experience at Hotel Garh Meera My stay at Hotel Garh Meera was truly exceptional and exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and impeccable service that made me feel right at home. The hotel itself is a perfect blend of modern comfort and traditional charm. The rooms were immaculately clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, providing a serene and relaxing atmosphere. The attention to detail in the decor, inspired by local heritage, added a unique touch to the overall experience. One of the highlights of my stay was the rooftop terrace, offering stunning views of the city and its surrounding landscapes. Watching the sunset from there was an unforgettable experience. The staff at Hotel Garh Meera deserve special mention. They were incredibly courteous, attentive, and always ready to go above and beyond to ensure a delightful stay. Whether it was arranging local tours or recommending authentic dining spots, their insights made my trip even more enjoyable. Speaking of dining, the hotel's restaurant served delicious food with a variety of options to cater to every palate. The flavors were authentic, and the presentation was impeccable. In terms of location, Hotel Garh Meera is perfectly situated, offering easy access to major attractions while maintaining a peaceful ambiance away from the hustle and bustle. Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Garh Meera to anyone visiting the area. It’s more than just a place to stay; it’s an experience in itself. I look forward to returning soon! Rating: 5/5
The hotel is a very elegantly designed Haveli, with beautiful interiors and a fantastic view of the Jaisalmer fort from the terrace. The rooms were spotless and had very nice interiors. The breakfast served on the terrace is also very tasty, I can especially recommend the pancakes, they were delicious. The hotel is also walking distance to the fort and other attractions in the city centre, so the location is also another plus. The owners Mrityunjay and his brother Sahil were very hospitable and friendly and even allowed us to check out much later than the official check out time. All in all we had a wonderful time.
The desert safari organisation was a bit confusing but it was a fairly minor grievance.
Beautiful room, bed very comfortable.

I had an excellent experience staying at this hotel. The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making sure all our needs were met with a smile. The rooms were spotless and very well-maintained, showing the care and attention to detail that goes into running this place. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and hospitable stay. Will definitely be returning on my next visit!
Very nice maintained places . Rooms are exceptional
Excellent team ! What the hotel lacks is well compensated by attentive, engaged, considerate and helpful staff. One gets a feeling that you are staying in a home not a hotel.
Access to the hotel if you are driving. However, it’s an advantage if proximity to key attractions is key consideration.
The staff was very good.
Breakfast options were limited
The staff here are incredible, very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean as well as beautiful and comfortable. We ate at the hotel too and it was delicious. The hotel itself is about a 15 minute walk from the fort. If we are ever back in Jaisalmer we will be sure to stay here again we enjoyed it so much!
We had such an amazing stay at Garh Meera. The rooms themselves felt like a dream, everything was exceptionally decorated and they upgraded our room to a bigger one. The staff there was so friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and recommended a great safari tour. The views from the restaurant rooftop were incredible and the food was great. Also special thank you to Aadil who joined us on our desert safari – we were blown away by his talented photography / videos and got some great photos of ourselves taken! This place felt like family and we left making some new friends too. Highly recommend staying at this place!
nothing!
Location is good. It can be a bit cheaper in comparison to the facilities provided.
Hotel restaurant food is average. You can prefer outside food while staying.
The location was very close to the main attractions and they did let us for an early check-in without any extra charges. The staff are very helpful and polite.
Breakfast not included. When both Veg and Non Veg is served in the hotel restaurant, it is better if the same information is available at the time of booking.
Too many steep steps to climb to the hotel from the main road approach, difficult for senior citizens
Very big room, room was nicely designed and decorated. Beautiful common are, nice view from the terrace. Great value for money.
When we just entered the room, there were many insects on the floor which looked like tiny grasshoppers, however later they were gone. Breakfast was not great. Cutlery and dishes were dirty, we had to wash everything before using. We got food with hair and ants in it. Tables were often dirtly with ants on it as well.
Excellent service and hospitality by hosts. Very clean and well decorated property. Would recognise to everyone.
Room looks like the photos
Safari offered by hotel was more expensive then options in town
Awesom city view from roof top, very friendly stuff.
DO THE SAFARI WITH CAMELS. Its not touristic. From my German point or view this hotel is a recommendation everyone that looks for standards.
Nothing to complain.
The hotel is in a really convenient location in the city and easy to reach, with the fort a pleasant walk away. Alternatively finding a tuk tuk on the road was pretty easy. It is a beautiful building and is well kept inside. My room was enormous and the bed very comfy. The staff and owner were very accommodating and friendly. The hotel also offers many optional extras such as camel safari and massages, making your stay in extremely convenient and easy. The rooftop is enormous and has a great view out to the fort of Jaisalmer. Would stay here again if I visited Jaisalmer again.
When I arrive the receptionist tried to charge me an alternative price for the camel safari I had booked to what had been agreed over email. I only got the agreed price by changing plans last minute. Whilst I think this was a genuine miscommunication it was not a great start to my stay. The food was fine, but I would offer fewer options could result in better quality food all round.
Staff good
You have to reach the reception through good number of stairs. So if you are reaching at odd hours, it may be Little inconvenient.
The rooftop was great. Their recommendations for a guide and a desert overnight safari were brilliant.
Beautifully decorated interior. Loved our room. We were offered a free of charge upgrade but kept our booked room, just loved it! The staff were very accommodating. Clean bathroom. Room smelled good. Had dinner and breakfast, food was tasty. Stunning view from roof restaurant. Location, about 10 to 15min short walk from Fort. Location was excellent for us. We did a desert safari with the hotel, was one of the best experiences we have had. Will definitely stay here again when we return to Jaisalmer.
We loved our stay
It was a wonderful experience at Garh Meera ,ambience was super authentic and traditional . Owner Sahil was super helpful. Food at roof top cafe MUD ESCAPE was very delicious authentic Rajasthani Lal mass and other veg dises was super .Safari organised by the hotel was super , it was memorable experience. Thank you team Garh Meera for this unforgettable experience
Nothing
We loved our stay. Great boutique hotel in a renovated haveli, tastefully decorated. Our room was spacious and confortable. The city and fort views from the rooftop are breathtaking. The location is perfect, very central, but also quiet. The staff was extremely nice and friendly, very helpful and gave us useful advice (restaurants, excursions…)
Nothing
This is a very recent hotel with a lot to improve. The building is beautiful and the hosts are very helpful, but inexperienced. Rooms have space and good air conditioning. The location is good. The rooftop has a good view.
Yet, the hygiene is very poor, both in rooms (especially bathrooms) and in the rooftop restaurant. The food is basic and prepared by inexperienced staff, and the tables on the rooftop are very dirty, as well as the dishes (some still have the purchase stickers that were never removed). The bathrooms constantly smell like sewage and in the night have cockroaches.
Nicely decorated rooms, good view from the roof top. Clean for India
The area outside is surrounded by shacks with lots of beggars. The rooms smelt of drains. They made out we were getting an upgrade, however we got the room we booked. Inclusive breakfast very poor (omelette or toast).
The staff of the hotel is extremely friendly and helpful! Sahil is always there if you need help but not in a pushy way which wr really appreciated. It is definitely a hotel where you feel comfortable and compared to every other hotel we stayed in during our India trip it is very well run and organized! Also it has a higher level of cleanliness. The restaurant serves very good food within just a little time.
There are only two very small things that we would recommend: 1. Giving away 2 towels per person 2. Organizing a sign that people can put in front of the door if they want the room to be cleaned
This place has the best views : the rooms were super clean and each and every piece of art and deco was inspiring . The owner has really put his efforts to design this hotel. The staff is very friendly and really takes care of all needs.
Everything was perfect.
We had booked a different room but we were upgraded to a different room which was far bigger than our booking and also lot better just because the hotel was empty at no extra cost. The cook was excellent and the dining arrangement on the rooftop was also very good. The room was very beautiful with huge space and huge windows. The lighting was a bit dim but everything else was sensational.
The staff were helpful, friendly and polite especially Mehrab who resolved any issue very quickly. On arrival he was very welcoming and gave us a choice of room.
Breakfast was a bit on the basic side.
Helpful staff, they were always polite and courteous especially Mehrab who gave us a choice of rooms and very helpful at breakfast.
The breakfast was very basic.
Very comfortable and clean. Staff are very helpful. Excellent chai tea. Eat breakfast each morning and enjoyed the Indian food. Great location with a nice view from the rooftop restaurant. Recommend spending a little extra for one of the nice rooms on the second floor.
They didn't do proper check in at arrival, we stayed for one night, so after checking out they marked as no show. This is totally terrible experience. They also turned off the AC. Note: please don't book safari from the stay. The package includes camel safari and folk event and food in tent stay. This complete package is of no worth.
The room is very classic and spacious. The beds were nice. The staff are polite and attentive to your needs.
Some very minor things, which I feel there's no need to mention here.
We had booked 6 rooms for a couple of days. The property was very comfortable. The host was very friendly and accommodated our special requests graciously.
Nil
The building is beautiful, and the location is great, 15 minutes walking to the fort, the staff is very friendly and attentive, they were kind enough to receive us at the hotel very early in the morning when our train got to the city. The rooms are clean and very well decorated. Definitely recommended!
This is hands down the best hotel I have been in India not even close. It's very clean, all the facilities are modern and working perfectly. The staff Is very polite and helpful. This is an example on how to run an hotel!!
Nothing
Lovely property with spacious and clean rooms. Very cool interior design! Locations and wifi also great. Rooftop cafe does nice food as well - we loved the pancakes. The owners are very responsive and helpful too. If you want to go to the desert I highly highly recommend booking the desert safari sleeping under the stars through them. Was absolutely beautiful and there were no other tourists around so it was very serene. Our guides Ghambila and Hussein were incredible - cooked up delicious food and taught us about India culture/history. One of the most unique things we’ve done in India and far better than the tours to Sam dunes!! Thank you so much!
Great hotel. Great staff. Perfect stay. Do check out the city and fort view from the terrace at night.
I really loved the staff of the hotel. They were very helpful, polite and quick at responding. Even the hotel's owner Sahil was very helpful in planning our sight seeing. From food to laundry service to arranging transport Sahil and his team were hands on! The most important thing for a traveler is how comfortable they are in a new space and place. We were very comfortable staying there. The hotel is also very close to the bus stand. It is very accessible. So that was a plus too.
I can't point a finger at something that i didn't like there. There is nothing to write in that regard. I wish we were in Jaisalmer at a different time of the year. That's all!
This was one of my favourite hotels during my trip in India. Mainly, because the staff looked after us very well. On our first night, I tripped over some rubble walking home from dinner and cut my foot open. The staff saw me limping in and were very concerned. They came to our room with some plasters, but also went and bought me a tube of ointment so it wouldn't get infected. We also got food poisoning at the end of our stay and the staff were messaging to see if we needed a doctor and brought us more toilet paper and even some chai the next day. They were so lovely and made us feel well cared for. Beyond that, the room was huge. The decor was really nice too. Very unique. I especially liked the little lights in the alcoves near the ground. They gave a nice ambience at night when I would read in bed. The hotel is located outside the fort/old city, but it's only about a 15 minute walk in for sightseeing or you can get a rickshaw too. There is a rooftop restaurant too, but it wasn't open for dinner (we came in Monsoon season, so lots of things in India are a lot quieter). The staff gave us a recommendation for a place nearby that was open for dinner and even called to make sure they would be open for us.
The air con struggled to cool the room as the room is so large, and Jaisalmer is very hot. The power also occasionally shut off, but this seems to be a common occurrence in India. The lights usually stayed on, but the air con and power points would stop working. They usually turned back on again in around 10 minutes. There's also no shelf in the shower to put your toiletries on, so you need to put them on the floor.
