The decor was great, Ann made us feel at home, breakfast was first class and the place was easy to find. A good stay in the country

Very well maintained and presented the nature walk was a big bonus especially when travelling with a dog. Great breakfast and made to feel very welcome, the separate living room was great for relaxing in the evening.

It's a beautiful house located in rural Galway with a lovely woodland walk around and beautiful grounds for my dog. The breakfast was to die for. I used it as a base for visiting parts of Galway and Clare.

There wasn't anything I didn't like. The breakfast was a highlight and Ann the host was fab. It's very well taken care of and a lovely place to stay

I loved having access to a kitchen which was brilliant, together with dining facilities. This was an unexpected bonus!

Cartron House was exceptional in the location, the accommodation, and the breakfast. The drive in and the surrounding countryside was stunning, the hostess couldn't be more helpful, the room was very clean and very comfortable, and the breakfast was the best I had on my Irish holiday, the homemade treacle bread was amazing, and our servers were wonderful 😋

The only thing I didn't like about Cartron House is that I only stayed one night on my way home 🙃 I could definitely stay here as a base to see more of the emerald isle. Thanks so much for your welcome and beautiful stay, tho it was too short. xx

Amazing B&B with a very cozy atmosphere! The room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The hosts were super friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was delicious. Perfect location and such a peaceful stay. Would definitely come back again! 🫶

As the reviews we read before coming all said this place and it's lovely hostess was perfect. So chill, accomodating and helpful with everything we needed for a family birthday meet up.

There's not enough words to describe how joyous I found our stay at the Catron house. The property was clean and well cared for and absolutely stunning. The atmosphere was so serene. Check in/our was so easy. Ann herself was such a delight, very accommodating and her suggestions for places to see never failed to disappoint. I'll be missing her breakfasts for a good long while. The nearby town of Loughrea had everything we could need.

Aunque el emplazamiento es un tanto recóndito y cuesta llegar hasta allí merece mucho la pena. Un espacio natural maravilloso al más puro estilo irlandés. La casa es una adaptación de una antigua granja con habitaciones amplias y todos los servicios, el personal: maravilloso. el desayuno Espléndido. Una experiencia inolvidable

La señalización y localización del lugar resulta complicado y más aún cuando viajas en coche de noche, apenas hay iluminación.

this place is a close as possible to a living nightmare. First there is ongoing noise from the rooms above (i was staying on ground floor) Second a piece of glass panel located between the bathroom and the bedroom fell onto me and injured me. I am lucky I am alive because someone else could have been killed. I do not recommend this place under any circumstances.

Prima kamer. Uitstekend ontbijt, gezellige host: heel vriendelijk, leuke gesprekken. Heerlijk verblijf in mooie omgeving. Uitmuntende B & B. Een echte aanrader!

Das Frühstück war einfach fulminant und die Vermieterin ist eine echte Perle! Liebenswert, lustig und sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Egal welches Problem auftrat, uns wurde sofort geholfen...

Die Fenster waren noch so zu öffnen wie in Österreich oder Deutschland, aber das ist ein irisches Problem....

Cámas muy còmodas, muy buen desayuno, muy buena relaciòn calidad-precio. Personal muy amable y bonita localizaciòn. Habitaciones familiares.

Duchas podrían ser más modernas (aunque siempre tuvimos agua caliente). Echamos de menos que hicieran la habitación entre un día y el otro pero compensaron con comodidad y amabilidad.

Ann ist eine phantastische Gastgeberin. Sehr aufmerksam, zuvorkommend und nett. Ein Ort, an dem man sich sofort zuhause fühlt!

Es ist schön abgelegen. Die Ausstattung ausreichend, sauber und gemütlich. Ann ist der gute Geist des Hauses und schon vor dem eintreffen sehr zuvorkommend. Frühstück mehr als genug. Von warm bis kalt. Auf alle Wünsche wird eingegangen. Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus- ebenfalls ausreichend vorhanden. Neben dem Haus ist ein Rundweg auf dem man sich nach der Fahrt die Beine vertreten kann. Weg von der Straße beginnend und endend bei der Unterkunft. Wir kommen wieder. Dann mit mehr Zeit. Danke Ann für alles.

Leider ist das Haus sehr sehr hellhörig, so dass wir nicht wirklich gut geschlafen haben. Schade.

What a fantastic experience and such a warm friendly hard working family. I was made so welcome. The breakfast was excellent. I would give it 5 stars .It was a huge bonus that I could bring my dog with me. Beautiful countryside and they have a nature walk that surrounds their country house and lands. I can't wait to get back.

I really cannot find anything to complain about.
