Overall it was a great place to stay. Castelrotto is a small beautiful place and the hotel was central. I didn’t use the car except for my 1 excursion to Sella pass. The husband and wife team were welcoming and helpful. The apartment I had was large, clean and comfortable. We had a small patio which my dog Pax loved. They weren’t keen on having Pax in the main dining room for breakfast and accommodated us in a smaller side room. There was a bit of a glitch getting into the hotel. The owners take Sunday off so gave me instructions to get in. I was a bit baffled and not sure if I didn’t understand or if the directions were incomplete. Fortunately another guest was able to let me in and from there everything was great. My only other comment is that the bedroom was very bright with outside light since the curtains (while very nice) were thin. Blackout curtains in that room would be useful. Would I stay there again, yes. Pax and I loved our time there.

Pejska si nemůžete vzít s sebou na snídani. Na posteli byla lehce propadená matrace ze které mě bolely záda.

Localização, serviços, quarto espaçoso asseado e confortável. Garagem, sauna, jacuzzi e um bidé.

Recepção incontactável no final da tarde, ninguém disponível, frigorífico (mini bar) que nunca arrefeceu o suficiente. Sem AC, no verão a temp do quarto mesmo com janelas fechadas era ligeiramente superior ao desejado.

Preislich am besten in kastelruth. Grundsätzlich rundum zufrieden. Frühstück überschaubar aber gut.

Garni Residence Trocker was our base for exploring the western Dolomites. It’s a little farther from the main tourist hub of Ortisei, but I actually recommend staying in Castelrotto. It’s less busy, peaceful, and has a lot of charm. From the hotel, it’s an easy walk to the village centre, where you’ll find several restaurants open until around 21:00, as well as a supermarket, pharmacy and gelato shops. The hotel itself is very good. Our room had a balcony with chairs, perfect for relaxing after a long day. Parking is convenient with easy elevator access. There’s also laundry facilities, a rooftop area with jacuzzi, pool table, and a good breakfast. Overall, we had a very comfortable stay.

The breakfast was nice, but when staying several days, eating the same selection every morning becomes a little repetitive. It would be great if some of the buffet items could change every couple of days. One important thing missing from the room was a hot-water kettle. There was no easy way to make tea or coffee in the room, which we definitely missed. The rooftop jacuzzi is open only from around 13:00 to 20:00. Unfortunately, we never got to use it because we were out exploring during the day and usually returned after 20:00. Especially during summer, keeping it open until around 22:00 would be fantastic for guests returning from a day in the Dolomites.

El hotel es familiar y muy cómodo. Las habitaciones son muy amplias con mobiliario en muy buen estado. Disponen de aparcamiento para el vehículo.

Ottima posizione in 5 minuti a piedi si raggiunge il centro. Appartamento pulitissimo e spazioso dotato di tutto il necessario. Parcheggio sotterraneo comodissimo!

Op de tv staat hotelbeveiliging waardoor je de hdmi poort niet kon gebruiken. Jammer voor de mensen die graag film of tv kijken en geen Italiaans of duits spreken. Je eigen laptop aansluiten gaat dus niet.

Tranquil location yet on walking distance from the center. The breakfast was wonderful. The parking garage very convenient. The rooms very large, light and comfortable with lovely views.

El jacuzzi estaba muy bien. La terraza y la limpieza . El poder acceder desde el garaje a la habitación es ideal

Lo que menos nos gustó fue el fuerte olor a tabaco, especialmente en las zonas comunes, que resultaba bastante desagradable. También hacía muchísimo calor y no había ni siquiera un ventilador, lo que hizo la estancia un poco incómoda. El desayuno fue otro punto negativo. En varias ocasiones, al bajar a desayunar ya no quedaba leche, café ni otros productos, y no se reponían con la suficiente rapidez. Por último, el parking nos resultó poco práctico. Nuestro coche no cabía bien en las plazas disponibles y, en varias ocasiones, tuvimos que aparcar en la zona destinada a vehículos eléctricos porque era el único espacio donde entraba.

Nasz pokój był bardzo czysty jak i cały hotel. Bardzo dobre śniadanie , cisza i spokój dookoła. Idealne miejsce na wypoczynek. Polecamy bardzo !

Det var ok att röka i en del på boendet, men det luktade tyvärr rök i hela byggnaden vilket drar ner standarden…

Location was well-situated to major destinations like Seceda and Alpe di Siusi - quick 15-20 mins drive away and nestled in a quieter, charming town.

Parking lot is a bit tight - can be a bit more challenging for larger cars but doable.

A les 10 i dos minuts , bronca perque el check out era a les 10. I encara espero que em donguin la wifi i la vaig demanar dues vegades.

Sehr schöne und gute Lage. Man hat vom Balkon aus einen tollen Blick auf die Bergwelt. Viele Orte in Kastelruth sind von dort gut fußläufig zu erreichen (Busbahnhof, Markplatz mit Kirchturm und Tourist Center, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten). Großzügig geschnittenes Zimmer mit großem Balkon und Sitzmöglichkeiten. Besonders angenehm, dass Auto in der hauseigenen Tiefgarage abstellen zu können. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Il fatto che al pian terreno adiacente alla reception e all atrio nel bar fossero presenti sempre fumatori. La poca accoglinza della propietaria . Il fatto che durante il soggiorno ,sperando di trovare tranquillità , ci siamo imbattuti in una festa di paese adiacente al hotel che poteva essere una sagra carina ma poi si è trasformata in una discoteca con relativa musica alta protratta fino alle una e quaranta del mattino con schiamazzi notturni ,per noi due giorni da dimenticare.

The room was spacious and very clean, with complete amenities. The location is not far from the bus station, and there are three supermarkets nearby. The staff were very friendly.

Muffige Handtücher, durchgelegene Betten (Rückenschmerzen vorprogrammiert), das Sofa war abgenutzt und hatte Flecken. Im Bad roch es extrem nach Abfluss. Die Küche im Apartment war nur sehr spärlich ausgestattet und auch nicht sonderlich sauber.

Very accessible to hiking options, with the Marinzen lift a few minutes by foot. Several restaurants, a supermarket and a pharmacy nearby. We were also given a room bigger than the one we booked, thank you!

Die Zimmer sind modern, aber es fehlt an Ausstattung.

Es hat überall im Haus nach Zigarettenrauch gestunken: in der Lobby, in der Tiefgarage, wo auch die Skier lagern und auf den Terrassen der Zimmer war es auch wahrnehmbar. Und es waren nicht Gäste sondern die Mitarbeiter oder Eigentümer, die überall rauchten. Wenn sie selber Raucher sind wird sie das nicht stören. Uns hat es sehr gestört.

Zahledly jsme bedny plne burtu polozene primo u vyfuku jednoho z vozu v garazi - to nebylo zce hygienicke. V prostorach restaurace se kouri a vsude to smrdi. Na snidani byly temer kazdy den studena michana vajicka a tvrde pecivo.

La camera ci è piaciuta molto ... pulita,spaziosa, ben illuminata grazie alle grandi vetrate che danno sulle montagne. Il mio ragazzo ha apprezzato molto anche il letto bello ampio! Punto forte l'idromassaggio sulla terrazza panoramica, molto romantico!! Personale gentilissimo e disponibile, tutte le mattine chiedevamo informazioni per il trekking e gli spostamenti in autobus. Ottima posizione, vicinissimi al paese e alla fernata dell'autobus con cui abbiamo girato tutti i giorni senza problemi, lasciando la macchina nel garage coperto.
