The beds - one is a sofa bed were comfortable, the kitchenette has all the necessities, breakfast everyday is nutritious and the countryside is gorgeous. Accommodating owners of the property who dwell close by but respect your privacy and are just lovely

The winter weather conditions make for a very cold location so the heat pump is essential for warmth

Beautiful location on an olive farm. We instantly felt at home and welcomed this is a lovely little sleep out with everything you need and some things you didn't realise you had forgotten. The breakfast is amazing and far too much 😍

Lovely peaceful location, set back off the road. Comfy accommodation set across the driveway from the owners. Cliff & Gerri are great hosts who provide a yummy selection of continental breakfast goodies. This was our second time staying here and we will definitely be back.

The place was very clean and tidy and had everything you'll need and more! The hosts were extremely welcoming and provided a lot of useful information about dining and sightseeing. Breakfast was extremely generous with a full basket provided. The homebaking of muffins and welcome cookies were delicious and very thoughtful. Will stay here again if I come this way!

There was nothing to not like from this accommodation. From the welcome on arrival to departure there was nothing I could fault with the accommodation or setting. There is everything you need for your stay and more, every detail has been carefully thought out and is delivered in spades. From the extremely comfortable bed to the fabulous breakfast means there will not be anywhere else I will stay when work brings me to the area. Thanks for your hospitality, Andy

Located in a quiet semi-rural area. The studio had everything I needed and has a pleasant outlook into the olive Grove. Bed is very comfortable; breakfast excellent. The hosts were especially welcoming.

Olivista is located a few kms north of Masterton, in a semi rural enclave. very quiet and surrounded by gardens. the facilities were excellent, with room for a kitchenette, couch and well appointed bathroom. With the rain and wind outside we were very comfortable spending more then normal time inside. Cliff and Geri were very generous and attentive and the free continental breakfast was delicious.

The room was well equipped but not cluttered. There were a lot of wooden surfaces and everything was of the highest standard. The propriotor was very friendly and told me about a local walk, and where to eat in Masterton. The property is about 10 minutes car drive outside Masterton, and is semi-rural. Great garden and the property has it's own olive orchard.Next time I vist Masterton I will definitely book Olivista again..

There is nothing I can fault about this accommodation. However if someone didn't have their own transport it would be impractical.

Cliff and Geri are wonderful hosts - a friendly greeting, gave local information, unobtrusive and provided a wonderful breakfast that was sufficient for three days, not one. It was brought to our room in the early evening, which would suit most travellers I would think. The property is about one kilometre off the main road, in the country, close to Masterton. No road noise, in fact, fully country living. The gardens are beautifully cared for. The accommodation itself has everything one might expect, plus some extra touches, for example in the bathroom, shaver, dental floss, face cream etc. The accommodation is separate from the house, so fully private.

We found everything to our satisfaction, and more.

Super cosy and when we arrived the heat pump was on for us so nice and warm upon arrival on a winters evening! Hosts super accommodating even offering toys for my 2yo son, Beautiful continental breakfast given! Beautiful spot and plenty of amenities to use! :) I slept on the fold out couch with my son and that was super big and comfortable for us!

The hosts (Geri and Cliff) were just wonderful - so welcoming! The place is so homely - perhaps better than home as at home one does not get a breakfast basket of goodies that is so yummy. The location is excellent - a quieter area but also terrific for walking. It is only 5 mins into town of Masterton so easy to access other facilities if needed.

We had a lovely stay at Olivista. Cliff and Gerri were absolutely amazing hosts they made us feel so welcomed and the room was so comfortable, they really went above and beyond for us returning a bag we had left at their premises. We can’t recommend enough nor be more grateful for their help.

All included in the price of your stay. Bathroom included toiletries to use during your stay - handwash, bodywash, makeup remover, hairdryer, tissues. Smart TV with Netflix is always a bonus.

That we hadn't been able to stay longer

A charming and beautiful place equipped with the wonderful hosts Cliff and Gerry who make you welcome from the 1st minute. I had a wonderful time, appreciated the many tips both gave and the lovely chats. Breakfast was amazing with plenty to choose from. Beautiful and quiet surroundings, wished I could have stayed longer.

Very peaceful stay on an olive grove, with lovely country walks nearby. Gerri and Cliff thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. Fresh flowers from their lovely garden, home baking, generous breakfast which really set us up well for the day. Bed was comfortable, and husband enjoyed watching the tennis final on the new tv.

Masterton is a bit far from tourist regions but en route to Wellington.

The short bread was the best I've had in years. Beautiful garden. It was exactly what we wanted. Bed was firm but still comfortable.

Very comfortable and well equipped studio. Great variety of food for breakfast and catered for me being Gluten Free on request. Welcoming hosts and easy check in and out. Pretty setting with olive grove and garden. Quiet location. Spotlessly clean.

A 10/10 stay in a comfortable spacious suite with lots of extra’s to enjoy. Everything we needed was there. We stayed there before attempting the Mount Holdsworth circuit. It is rural (very close to town) set in an absolutely beautiful garden and olive tree orchard . We didn’t use the bikes but will do so next time . The breakfast basket was definitely the best we had in New Zealand and the Christmas cake was a very welcome treat. Thank you Cliff and Geri.

We loved the peace and quiet of the location. The hosts were lovely and welcoming but left us to enjoy our time in their beautiful accommodation. The breakfast tray was amazing. Very generous, with lovely fresh fruit, yoghurt, juice, bread cold meats, cheese and preserves. Scrummy thank you.
