Reviewed Sep 15, 2026Maika y Vincent fueron muy amables con nosotros. Nos trataron fenomenal. La habitación muy cómoda, espaciosa y decorada con mucho gusto. El salón es una locura, y la terraza, con vistas al puente y al río, perfectos para tomar una cerveza local de las que ofrecen en su pequeño bar. Tomamos el desayuno, con ingredientes caseros (mermeladas, yogur, y hecho con productos de la zona. Fue una grata experiencia que nos gustaría volver a repetir alguna vez.
No le pondría ninguna pega.

Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement avec un verre de bienvenue, puis le propriétaire nous a fait visiter la maison. La maison est vraiment chaleureuse, joliment décorée et très agréable.Terrasse avec vue sur la rivière.Notre chambre ainsi que la salle de bain étaient parfaitement équipées et d’une propreté irréprochable. Et que dire du lit… d’un confort exceptionnel ! Le petit déjeuner était tout simplement parfait : viennoiseries, fromage, salade de fruits frais faite maison… tout était délicieux et préparé avec soin. Nous tenons également à remercier chaleureusement les propriétaires pour leur sympathie, leur gentillesse et tous les bons moments partagés. Nous avons eu de belles conversations, beaucoup ri et apprécié ces échanges pleins de bonne humeur. Ce sont des rencontres qui rendent un séjour encore plus agréable. Un grand merci à vous deux pour votre accueil et votre convivialité. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir et recommandons cette adresse les yeux fermés !

Die steilen Treppen um in die Zimmer zu gelangen sind schon eine Herausforderung für Jeden. Die Besitzerin weiss das auch. Mir hätte es gefallen wenn im Zimmer eine Lounge Sessel gestanden hätte, aber das ist Geschmackssache.

Long story short - take the breakfast or you will miss one of the best breakfasts you can find. This plus Maika & Vincent were the highlight of our 2 day stay here - and yes we visited the Abby of orval.

Reviewed Sep 1, 2025prachtige luxe kamer met heel mooi uitzicht. Vriendelijke en hulpvaardige ontvangst; een welkomstdrankje. Mooie verblijfsruimte, waar we helaas nauwelijks gebruik van gemaakt hebben omdat we de volgende dag vroeg weer verder fietsten.
Een tip: op booking.com staat de accomodatie vermeld als bed&breakfast. Dus een bed en een ontbijt. Dat ontbijt was echter niet inbegrepen. Handiger is dan om het uitsluitend logies te noemen.

Un fond de musique au déjeuner et un peu de charcuterie aurait été appréciable. Cependant le déjeuner était très bon et frais.

Bijna alles huisgemaakt, de yoghourt, de granola, de confiture, het brood, .... De eieren van eigen kippen, tomaten uit de tuin. Biologische thee, ... Vers fruitsap, verse fruitla. Er waren ook croissants en chocoladekoeken en verschillende soorten kaas. De ganse dag gratis water, koffie en thee. De gastvrouw en gastheer zijn heel vriendelijk. Leuk terras met zicht op de Semois.

Das Frühstück war außergewöhnlich gut, sehr schön und frisch angerichtet mit selbstgemachter Marmelade, selbstgebackenem Brot etc. Vincent & Maika sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Restauranttips waren super.
Die Matratze war für unseren Geschmack zu weich.

Stylish furniture and decor, spacious rooms, plus a delightful terrace by the river (with a free welcome beer when we arrived!) And such lovely, lovely hosts too. A superb continental breakfast available that was well worth the price. There was simply a profound sense of tranquility just being there: partly the peacefulness of the location, but also in the obvious love, care and attention given to many small details in this beautiful house. A very memorable place to stay, and all too brief! (We were on a motorbike tour...) Sincerely hope to return sometime.

Reviewed Sep 19, 2023Everything was amazing. We spent only one night (unfortunately), because we wanted to visit Orval (which is very close, 10 min by car). Mayka and her husband were so nice, that you feel like home. The place is very quiet, well maintained and so beautiful. The room has the perfect size for a couple, and it is very comfortable and clean. And don't forget to have the breakfast provided by them, with local products, it was delicious. Thank you both for our amazing stay!! We will definitely come back :)

Reviewed Jul 25, 2023Breakfast was extensive and excellent; many of the items were homemade such as the bread, the yoghurt, the selection of jams and the orange juice. Fresh fruit, muesli, some very fine cheese and limitless coffee. Right away we were greeted by the hosts who are fluent in french, english, dutch and spanish, who invited us for a welcome drink - an Orval for me, a peculiar glass of white wine for my partner which tasted of Elderflower. The room was large, cool even during the heat of the summer, and there was no ambient noise from outside or the other rooms. They suggested for dinner a brasserie with good food and a good price, which was within walking distance through fields rather than residential areas - a nice short walk after an expansive dinner was very nice.
Through no fault of the owners, but there does seem relatively little to do in the surroundings. However, due to the amazing price/quality ratio, I would reccomend using this place as a center point for further exploration by car - a 1 hour drive will easily get you to numerous interesting locations buth for nature and culture.

A delicious breakfast was served in a very spacious light room looking out on the Semois river and valley. Our spacious bedroom was beautifully decorated with very tasteful colours. The large en suite bathroom was modern too.
The owners have been upgrading and updating their newly acquired property for the past three years. Everything they have done is impeccable!

The rooms were super clean and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing, I recommend to take it. Most of all, the owners were super kind, warm and welcoming. I could not recommend more.

The room itself was a lovely surprise, very comfortable, lots of space and beautifully presented. The log burner downstairs was a very welcome sight after a long day on the bike. Highly recommended.
