Albert Mews B and B

The breakfast was on the light side but for the price of the room it was substantial. Other breakfast options were nearby.

The location was very convenient for walking around town and to local restaurants and the beach.

While advertised as a B&B it is not like the many B&Bs we have visited over the years where you have access to a lounge and receive a full breakfast. The accommodations are really a bedroom and bathroom with a small eating area on the bottom floor of a row house unit. There was a patio outdoors which was nice but overall the space was small and the breakfast was a continental breakfast you made yourself.

Location was excellent, walking distance to beach, harbour and eateries. Very comfortable accomodation and lovely hosts.

Liked everything about the B&B particularly the little conservatory gave you a little more private space

What a cute little place to stay. Warm welcome. Lovely breakfast. So handy to everything in Whitianga shops, cafes, beach and ferry. A level walk to everything. I wished I had booked another night!!

Jocelyn and Murray were very welcoming. The property is in a good location - easy access to bars and restaurants and very easy for the ferry and boat trips.

Absolutely nothing

We got stuck in Whitianga as all the roads out of the town were closed due to flooding, land slides and slips. The hosts were absolutely wonderful, we got tips on what to do in town, and when to travel and when not. We stayed 2 extra nights after all. Warmly recommending the B&B.

Everything. Private and quiet. Well appointed. Just minutes walking distance to everything … beach, marina, shops and restaurants. Wonderful hosts provided a welcome fruit and chocolate plate plus amazing continental breakfast. Wish we’d stayed another day 😀

Exceptionally clean, very comfortable bed, friendly hosts. We stayed only one night but it had everything we needed including WiFi and a basic but nice breakfast. Restaurants are a short walk into the centre (5 mins). Well situated for everything in an absolutely beautiful part of the country.

Such a fantastic location only steps to the wharf. Lots of restaurants and shops. The Ocean Leopard Cathedral Cove tour was fantastic!! Such a beautiful town.

Great location at one end of the main street. Off main road with parking outside the house. Quiet, beautifully decorated, and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious with a selection of cereals, fruits, toast and jams. A selection of teas and coffee. The hosts were very welcoming.

We loved everything; the location, cleanliness, comfort and most importantly, the warmth, friendliness and hospitality of the hosts.

The owners were very nice, they lent us the spade for the beach and also a card for the ferry. The bed was great - very comfy. We had our own entry so that was nice too.

No sink for kitchen. But owners were very prompt providing clean dishes etc.

The room was clean and tidy with lovely amenities. The light breakfast was wonderful with delicious jams and yoghurts. Jocelyn and Murray were very welcoming and provided a lovely stay. The beach is only a couple of minutes walk - perfect location.
