Reviewed May 11, 2026Patrick heeft ons goed ontvangen en heeft alles heel goed uitgelegd wat de mogelijkheden waren. De flexibiliteit was goed betreft het ontbijt. Wij konden ontbijten of zelf ontbijten regelen. Ontbijt was niet inbegrepen in de prijs en was 16 Euro. Misschien een tip. leg eens plaatselijke charcuterie. dat zou tof zijn. De uitleg waar je alles kon vinden zoals plaatselijke winkels, bezienswaardigheden en horeca was top. Patrick bezield de belevenissen in Dendermonde. wel bedankt Patrick. Goed gedaan.

Reviewed Mar 29, 2026De bovenkamer was ruim met een heerlijk bed en een mooie en ruime badkamer. Ook loop je zo in een paar minuten naar het centrum.
Het ontbijt. Het kostte 15 euro per persoon, wij waren met 2. Er lagen een paar plakjes salami, 3 blokjes brie, 2 la vache qui rit en verder zoetigheid en 2 potjes goedkope yoghurt. Ook kregen wij alleen maar gewone sneetjes brood, geen croissant of pistoletjes oid. Het glas jus d'orange was ook niet vers. Al met al zeer karig en niet meer dan 5 euro waard.

Eigenlijk geen serieuze kritiek, want dus zeer tevreden, maar de kamer zelf werd wat warm en afzuiging in de badkamer zou fijn zijn.

My room was spacious and had a great terrace to sit and enjoy a beer. The air conditioning worked great. There is no kettle in the room, but the kitchen is available with what you might need. I would stay again!
Just be aware that there is no lift and quite a few stairs.

Reviewed Sep 15, 2025Wir haben ein ruhiges Zimmer mit Balkon zum Hof bekommen. Es fand am Abend ein Food & Drink Fest statt und die ganze Stadt war auf den Beinen. Einen schöne Stimmung, direkt vor der Tür. Uns hat es nicht gestört, im Gegenteil. Wir habe den Abend dort sehr genossen. Fahrräder sicher verstaut. Dank an den zuvorkommenden Gastgeber!
Die Stufen zum Badezimmer. Das Bier aus lokaler Produktion auf dem Stadtfest war köstlich, tja ... ;) Uff, gut gegangen.

Geschirr kann man alles nutzen, super für ein eigenes Abendbrot. Nebenan ist ein hervorragendes griechisches Restaurant. Frühstück wird sehr liebevoll serviert und es ist absolut ausreichend.

Skromne śniadania, bez tzw. szwedzkiego stołu. Jeżeli przyjeżdża się w celach turystycznych, to miejscowość rozczaruje, na zwiedzanie wystarczą 2 godziny.

Our spacious room overlooked the canal and featured a huge bath—perfect for relaxing after a day on the bikes. Patrick, the host, was incredibly welcoming and helpful. We especially appreciated being able to securely park our bicycles in the private courtyard behind the building. The location is very central, just a short walk to the main square, where we were lucky to catch a wonderful community concert. A charming and well-located place to stay in Dendermonde!

We loved the atmosphere at Dendernachten, everything is so clean and comfortable. Patrick is an adorable host who puts lot of love in this lovely place :) we will definitely come back!

The room was a very good size and super clean, with both a bath and a shower. The host was very friendly and polite. I wood happily stay here again, thank you for a pleasant stay.
The only thing I could say and a minor one at that, is that it could do with a coffee and tea facilities in the room, although available downstairs in the kitchen, it would be nice to have a coffee in the room in the morning, without having to get dressed and sit in the communal lounge.

We should have noticed , but we’re surprised to note that there was no elevator. Carrying our things to the third floor was quite a hike, especially as Dutch stairs are a little narrower than the usual. Kind of scary. But the room was very soundproof and there was no sound from the stairwell

Reviewed Sep 11, 2022Stay in quite traditional house with an excellent host Patrick. The room was big, comfy, with the largest (not wellness) bathtub in the bathroom I've ever seen. :D We talked with Patrick about this house, city, history, which was super interesting. Also, if you want to travel around Belgium, I highly recommend Dendermonde, because it's in the middle and train connections to big cities are excellent (and almost all are direct).
Parking is a bit far (house is in the centre). There is one bit closer, but currently the street was under reconstruction, so it was confusing how to get in). But it's like 5 minutes by foot.
