Because it’s not what I expected or read on their website, aircons were not working, small amount is of water in the shower, sheets were not nice at all. Breakfast wasn’t nice. The bedroom was cold and tv had only dstv no Netflix or something. The staff was good

Very helpful staff, especially so late at night. Rooms were nice and clean. Will definitely stay here again. Thank you to the guests and staff that were so helpful in guiding us where to go.

There was no hot water for us to shower in the morning(in Winter).. It was cold and the aircon was not working, no other heating options were available

Good evening, I would like to express my disappointment in your staff and their attitude towards my daughters. I booked two nights for them and unfortunately they felt so unwelcome and uncomfortable because of your workers attitude. One of your staff had to remove food while my daughters were still eating and rolled out their eyes while talking to them. I must say my daughters felt very scared and disrespected.Is that how your staff treats young clients? Also you need to work on your Dstv , you don’t expect guests to stay a weekend without watching television. Kindly work on your services .

The place is very dirty and this is so disrespectful to us as clients who pay full amount with an expectation of a proper place to sleep. I was shocked to witness very dirty balcony, torn curtains and dusty passages.

The staff is amazing breakfast was delicious. My advice would be to get a hand held phone to avoid guests waiting at the gate for too long when the receptionist is busy somewhere else. A guest opened the gate for me and I don't think thats safe. overall the location and everything else was top tier thank you for the warm welcome

The peacefulness

The fact that I was cold the entire stay because the aircon was switched off. Even after I reported that I was cold😔

I was parked outside for almost 20 mins, ringing the bell and calling the receptionist. My call was eventually forwarded to someone i believe was the owner of the place. This is something that was experienced by other customers too. Rooms have aircon but no remotes. Blankets are of no help, no electricity blankets. I was freezing the entire night. And thirdly, they need work on the parking situation, as well the issue of other rooms not being en-suite.

All three of us who booked the place were so happy with exceptional service and place. Everything is up to a high quality standard. Beds are comfortable, geyser works, etc. It is not just a practical place but a beautiful one. We all three of us highly rate the place. Keep it up RNB Boutique Guesthouse!

The AC wasnt working.This is winter guys how do you expect us to survive throughout the night.Joburg is very cold.Please buy more blankets we asked for more blankets nd there wasnt enough so we are supposed to freeze.The management isnt supportive at all we stay all 4 nights we thought something maybe done.I am so disappointed because am not your first time.

It seems like they just painted the place, we couldn’t sleep because we were so blocked and coughing almost the whole night, air con is not working and they have a lot of mosquitoes around. My room was near the reception so I could hear all the call and conversations in the reception from the morning until the receptionist knocked off.parking is limited as well.Theres only one plug in the room where you can charge your phone and if you want to charge laptop it’s either you disconnect fridge or Tv.

The stay was good @ RNB staff in the kitchen and cleaning staff was very friendly and helpful.

The fact that renovations were done whilst we were there painting and all sort of stuff done, my throat was sore and sinus also, plus the lady at the reception very rude and unfriendly she asked untrained staff to take us to our rooms without any proper instructions on what is were in the rooms. The renovations was the worst part I'm still sick have no voice after that paint inhalations.

Reception was right next to my room So all conversation on the phone could hear even with my door closed(loud).I think I came at the wrong time renovations the smell of paint .

The place is nice. Great breakfast and the staff is friendly. The security is there in a nutshell everything about the place is nice. The staff lady waited for us and showed us the guest house.

The rooms are very very cold. The aircorn is not working no heater at that. The walls though are very thin,or should say there is no sound proof. You can hear other guests and the movement across the hallway.

The fact that we had to leave our bedroom to access a bathroom that’s separate from our space was really difficult.I don’t like their concept its not convenient.

The breakfast was good, the area around very nice and the bnb itself was nice. The blankets were warm. the Bnb was homely u can always lounge around the building. the owner seems warm

had the smallest room with no outside window, no aircon. not much privacy. the room seemed stuffy. have a look at what u order versus what u will get.

The hot water wasn't warm enough for one to bath in this cold weather. The Aircon is not working. And there's no other option of heating up the room. Those are very needed in winter. Wouldn't have mind that much if it was summer time.

The rooms are not clean. Brown towels scream dirt, so they should definitely change those. The dirt in the wardrobes 🤦🏽‍♀️. The bed was so hard and small. It’s definitely not a double but a three quarter bed. It makes so much noise, making it annoying to turn. The mattress was so hard😭😭😭 please buy mew double bed mattress beds

The outside toilets are a bit of a letdown especially for diabetics like my partner. It's not a major issue,though as they are private for each guest/room.

No glasses for drinking in the bedrooms

Think the staff is awesome. We arrived early and was nevertheless assisted. We had special dietary requirements and they went out of their way to meet our requests. The shower door didn't function, and our complaint was immediately resolved. Even the lack of hooks in the bathroom was sorted. Breakfast was plentiful and filling.

The step 23 Steps to the entrance door will be a challenge to any less able person. The shower has no soap/shampoo holder, leaving everything at your feet on the floor. The shower lacks a Towel Rail- the one small ring is inadequate to serve two people requirements. The shower temperature setting is a nightmare. Either too hot or too cold. Difficult to adjust to a medium setting. The single electricity lead with myriad of plug is rather untidy. The room dry wall partitioning lacks any sound dampening. The foyer noise (really morning) and the next room shower (early morning and evening) is loud and intrusive.

The staff was very friendly. The lady who assisted with check-in was very helpful and went overboard with service. We had to leave early the next morning so she ensure our breakfast pack was ready timeously. She also moved us to another very spacious room on arrival as the guest who was supposed to be booked for that particular room cancelled

There was no hot water at all so we took a cold shower in the evening and morning plus the aircon wasn't working

This was a real gem of a place. This was a last minute booking and the staff was very helpful went beyond what was expected. Breakfast was amazing. The staff was so friendly and very helpful. I would recommend this place over and over again. Thank you ladies for a perfect stay even if it was just for one night.

I suggest having hooks behind the bathroom doors for us to be able to hang robes while taking a bath of or shower.

My place to go when am in Roodepoort I love the cleanliness it's Top class..I no longer look at other areas when I visit Roodepoort when dey are fully booked I get stressed..dats how comfortable I feel when am der..it's a home away from home for me.

The space and hygiene

The staff is excellent understanding and accomodative. The treatment was wonderful. After the challange to get there due to traveling arrangements. There was a lady that was there waiting for us . My partner love here . The two nights was special.

The place is easy to locate and very close to Malls and shops . Eagle's nest behind and Little Falls a stone throw away. With three garages closer. The closest one with Spar tops for drinks .
