The property adjacent area around the entrance to the property was pretty shabby (lots of what appeared to be derelict vehicles)

So beautiful. The entire home is surrounded by nature. The inside was homey and cared for. Anna and Alex were great hosts. We used the microwave for our supper. The room was so cheerful and colorful. The breakfast was superb, delicious and beautifully presented.

Very quiet location about 15 minutes drive out of town. Don’t be off put by a vehicle collection as you enter the property. The inn is newly painted and surrounded by small gardens and sitting areas. The inn has beautiful artwork in all the rooms. Lots of shared public spaces. Full, delicious breakfast is served. Friendly staff including chocolate Lab.

I booked this place because breakfast was advertised as being included. Unfortunately, breakfast was not available until 8:00 a.m. I had to leave at 7:00 a.m. because I had a long drive ahead of me. If I had been informed before making the reservation that breakfast started at 8:00 a.m., I would not have chosen this place. I only received an email after making the reservation informing me that breakfast would not be available until 8:00 a.m. As a result, I paid for breakfast but was unable to have it, so I essentially lost the money I paid for breakfast. I feel that this is misleading. The breakfast hours should be clearly stated before guests make a reservation so they can make an informed decision.

A little hard to find, especially with little to no cell service out there.

The building’s staircases are steep and narrow, which is not described in the listing. Although my 87‑year‑old father routinely uses stairs at home, these were significantly more challenging. The Blue Room is tiny, and with two beds, there is minimal space to move. The “private” bathroom is located in a shared hallway accessible to four other bedrooms should guests decide to use it. Because of these conditions, my father and brother decided not to stay. Management declined a refund in line with the stated policy. Given that the booking was for two nights and the room could not be used due to undisclosed accessibility limitations, a partial refund for one of the two nights may have been a reasonable accommodation. Clearer information within the “About this Property” section about accessibility limitations, room size, and bathroom access would help future guests make more informed decisions. There is a note about rooms being on the upper level, which I missed when making this booking, as it is buried under the host notes.

The owner and staffs were very nice and kind..and House was well managed, and nice view.

Location : a little way from Whitehorse downtown.

The house is gorgeous — the Cappuccino room in particular is great — but more importantly, everyone there makes you feel at home with old friends. Eva, the owner, is a wealth of local knowledge and Yukon history, and well worth a conversation. They are pet friendly!

Doppelbett mit 140 -160 eher am Limit. Frühstück entsprach nicht den Erwartungen welche in den Rezensionen geweckt wurden.

A bagged breakfast was provided for us as we were leaving early the next morning before the set breakfast time. It was a delicious and ample breakfast. Staff was nice. Beautiful garden areas. Easy parking and easy to find.

Breakfast was OK, grandson didn't like it, no options. I would suggest giving a few options that could be given to the kitchen the night before for eggs etc, maybe some hashbrowns with the eggs and toast.

Die Anfahrt sieht aus wie ein Schrottplatz, das ganze Anwesen entspricht nicht der geschilderten Beschreibung. Auf unsere Anfrage des Frühstücks wegen früher Abreise bekamen wir keine Antwort. Im Haus war es sehr laut und hellhörig. Uns hat es dort überhaupt nicht gefallen.

The house is simply beautiful, and the views from the patio are superior. Though our room was on the sma;; side, the spaciousness of the common areas more than made up for that. The owner and staff are friendly and extremely helpful.

Book my stay in the recommendation of a friend. It was comfortable, quirky and very pleasant. It was nice to be staying outside f Whitehorse. Clear instructions on how to access the property, and my room were made available. No issues with sharing the two bathrooms with other guests once settled in. The room reminded me of an old English home. The bed was extremely comfortable and I slept very well. Breakfast was fresh, and communal. I enjoyed the company of some travellers from Montreal. Plenty of coffee available :) I would stay here again, if I ever pass through again.

I did not encounter any issues during my stay but feel confident saying that if I had they would have been resolved quickly.

送迎をしてくださったロンさんはとても親切な方でした。 私達はバンクーバーで買い物を済ませてきましたが、お願いすればホワイトホースでお買い物も できるようです。自炊される方は是非お願いしてみて下さい。 3泊しましたが、朝食がとても美味しく、毎日楽しみでした。最終日は朝早い便だというと シリアル、ミルク、果物のセットを冷蔵庫に入れておいてくれました。 宿泊したカプチーノ（一番高額)の部屋は窓が多く　ソファーが置かれた窓から最終日19日朝にやっとオーロラを見ることができました。 （他の部屋は、難しいかもしれません。) 部屋も暖かく　のんびりオーロラ待ちをしたい方向きです。 ただ　上空に出ているのを見逃す可能性もあるので、オーロラ予報やフェアバンクス、イエローナイフのライブカメラを参考にすると良いと思います。

部屋に電気ケトルがないので、私達は自分で持ち込みました。 ちょっとお茶が飲みたいとき等　部屋にあると便利だと思いました。

オーナーもスタッフも提携ドライバーも皆親切。 朝食はとても美味しかった。 カプチーノルームは最高。窓からきれいなオーロラが見えた。

周囲にはスーパーや売店など何もない。（だから、オーロラは綺麗に見えた。）

入住时天已经黑了，没有看清房子，但是进来以后房子非常的精致，还有从世界各地购买配置的装饰品都非常的好看。还有很多家族温馨的照片墙。这里不仅是普通的民宿，更是有故事有温度的房子。这里卫生打扫得也很干净，洗漱用品也很质量。装修风格也非常的雅致，虽然房间不大，但是非常的温馨。卫生间在房间的隔壁，但是是 private 的。楼下非常的大，宽敞，楼上的房间小而精致。这里两只狗狗好乖，互相信任 我们连住三晚，原来还想只住两晚，后来为了保险起见加了一天，果然在最后一晚，我们荣幸地看到了极光，太幸运，也太美了。这里每天早餐都很精致，还不一样，而且很好吃。 因为是木质的房子总会有咯吱咯吱的声音，但也因为别人走动的声音提醒，我们荣幸地看到了极光。

拖鞋可以适当时间清洗一下，谢谢(◍•ᴗ•◍)

It was just a lovely property. In an amazing location and the house was so nice decorated and it felt like going back in time. Room was spacious lovely views and very nice decor. Very nice hosts and breakfast was amazing. We also loved that we met the hosts dogs 🐕 they were adorable

Nice place and great staff

Hidden Valley is at a great location, away from the city light pollution to view the aurora borealis yet not too far to get into town. Eva and her staff/family are truly hospitable; they made us feel like going home for a holiday. The house is cozy and Jocelyn's breakfasts are delicious! We didn't have to travel far to view the aurora borealis, just step out to the front yard : ) Eva - thank you for making our stay wonderful and a chance to meet other guests from different parts of the world!!

I loved the location and the host in particular was fabulous! I thought it was a little pricey but we enjoyed our room and we did have our own seating area and washroom inside the room which was nice. I'm assuming that would be the reason for the pricing. Your own transportation to get around I would say is recommended...it's out of the way but that is one of the reasons we chose this location. We found it to be hot in the house/room and the windows not that easy to open, however we are cold weather folks so I'm sure I know many people who would have loved the temperature of the house especially after a day of snowy dog sledding or skiing which we didnt do. Overall it was a wonderful stay. I enjoyed the quiet nights, the country setting and Eva's company in the evening and at 98, what an interesting person!

オーナーもスタッフがとても親切。 朝食は出来立てを作ってくれる。温かくて美味しい。出発が早い場合はテイクアウトできるようにしてくれる。 庭からオーロラ鑑賞ができる。カプチーノルームなら、部屋から窓越しにオーロラ鑑賞、撮影も可能。 送迎のドライバーと宿のスタッフの連携もとても良い。

周囲にレストランやスーパーなどがない。（そのためオーロラ鑑賞には良い。） 夜間にオーロラ鑑賞で玄関のドアを開けた時に、宿の飼い犬が勝手に出て行ってしまい、少しの間帰って来なかった。凍死させてしまわないか非常に心配した。

部屋はあまり大きくはなかったですが、キッチン、リビング、ダイニングが広々としていてゆったりできました。 スタッフがとても親切でした。朝ごはんが美味しかったです。

部屋の照明が一つ切れていました。

The location

There was no heat, we froze all night and had to sleep in our hooded coats and warm clothes. All the guests experienced the same issue. No staff stay in the house. The staff girl stated “I’ll check” turns out “yea sorry we ran out of gas to heat the house” 👀 “my boss will call you today or tomorrow about giving you money back” but also here’s the debit machine and the tip function (tipped her $10 out of both pressure and courtesy) Still not a single word. As polite as the young woman cooking was, she cannot cook well. I was so excited to stay here based on the reviews and what a massive let down. My kid and I both ended up sick from being in the freezing cold all night (-6 that night but -12 with windchill). To not even get an apology is disgusting, but let’s be clear I want a refund for my stay and an apology. Burnt breakfast, no heat, ended up now with a cold(s) and it’s crickets from both booking.com and this facility. There are so many better options out there.

To be honest, this is the tiniest room I have ever stayed, as a frequent traveller. It basically only has room for a bed, and you can not leave the luggage open even. No desk for personal makeup etc. Even the wardrobe is full of the host’s stuff. The wall is not soundproof either. Bad sleep. The only good thing is the breakfast, and maybe the location if you are lucky enough to be here in a day that has active northern light. No clue why it has such a good rating. Worst cost-effective experience.

Quite an exceptional stay. A little outside town, but all the better for that. Very disnctive, friendly and informal. Staff excellent. Great breakfast. Would recommend.

MaryAnn and Jocelyn were very agreeable and friendly. The breakfast was a disappointment, not the gourmet meal as advertised. We stayed for a week and had to change rooms for the last night due to a mixup with our reservation. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were lumpy. The Capuccino room was a good size with its own seating area. The house was in a lovely area.

The hot water took a while to arrive in the bathroom and was not really hot but just warm enough to get into. Very low water pressure. The shower head sprayer holes were mostly plugged and needed cleaning out. The inside of the house and the outside and garden all need the attention of a proficient handy man (eg. some windows missing openers, some electrical plugs not working, rooms need sprucing up, clean out shower heads, etc.). All are looking somewhat neglected.

The location was good, the accommodation was great, a nice big room with very comfortable beds and excellent bathroom ammenities. There were spacious areas to relax around the property both inside and out. The highlight was the breakfast, it was simple amazing, consisting of an omelette, toast, roasted potatoes and along with a plate of pancakes and maple syrup and washed done with juice and coffee, you could not ask for a better start to the day. Looking forward to staying again and more than happy to recommend to others.

Nice physical appearance of house and common areas.

Advertised as dog friendly but with limits. You are advised to pick up your dog’s excrement but there were other dogs on property frequently but they pooped all over. The staff were fine for the tasks assigned by the absentee owner who was not there in our visit. They were all recent immigrants to the area from elsewhere and had limited knowledge of area attractions. We are familiar in B&B stay throughout the world where operators were invaluable in providing visitors with advice on must sees, local customs etc and this property lacked that personal knowledge touch and assistance.

Lovely large home with lots of outdoor space to enjoy. Full breakfast included and we had a room with our own private bathroom. Very comfortable.
