Chambre à la décoration, provençale dans un bâtiment datant du XIIe siècle avec une magnifique décoration et un petit canal qui passe juste dessous la bâtisse où vous pouvez prendre le café en écoutant le chant de l’eau quoi de plus charmant. Le personnel est au petit soins pour ses clients et c’est vraiment très appréciable. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter

Очень красивый отель, хорошо декорирован в самом центре городка. Протекающая под ним река добавляет антураж. Просторные номера, очень удобные кровати. Городская парковка в 5 минутах хотьбы. В отеле гастрономический ресторан - был полон клиентов, но мы не были. Завтраки хороши.

We loved the staff, the decoration and the access to the Sorgue river from the lobby. The AC was great.

This is a very historic building right in the centre of town , we booked here to go to the sunday markets , we wer welcomed with a refreshing drink nice touch ,room was ample and had air condtioning which was a bonus in the heat. Easy to walk around the town , courtyard was very pretty and welcoming.

Breakfast staff had a bit of a language barrier for us ,parking is very hard and the property is hard to find in the small lanes , once there ok ,as they had some bad reviews previously we did not eat there but they keep improving as better than expected

The property was clean and very nice

We had a room in the attic. The bathroom was on a loft and you had to bend over to just use the toilet in the bathtub shower was difficult to use also because of the low ceilings

Everything about this place was magical. The staff go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your stay. The woman that helped at breakfast and check in is kind, attentive, and loving. We went and got our pictures done at the lavender fields and she ironed my dress for me. That was the sweetest thing. I had to give her a huge hug when I left. She is a true gift to this place. The location is perfect, especially if you are going to the Sunday market. I would come back in a heartbeat. 10000/10.

The AC struggled a bit in the extreme heat.

No elevator made it very difficult as we had a room on the third floor and had to carry all our luggage up three flight flights. This should’ve been told us prior to booking.

Beautiful boutique hotel in city center. The staff were so kind and welcoming! Breakfast was lovely and fresh. Our room was very comfortable and clean. A fantastic stay!

The tub shower combo in our room could be difficult for some people. It wasn’t easy to get in and out of. Be sure to ask before booking if you struggle with this kind of thing.

The property was beautiful with its stone floors, earthy colours and spacious rooms. Breakfast was simple but lovely. Location behind the church was perfect to walk everywhere. I especially want to thank the staff, the beautiful lady who was on breakfast service, I just wanted to hug her because she was so lovely, the afternoon staff were wonderful too!

L'emplacement, le calme et l'ancien lavoir où coule la rivière sous l'hôtel qui plus est, est accessible ! Les produits d'hygiène : la senteur, cela donne envie de les acheter.

Chambre Vigneronne: Chambre: eau présente dans la cafetière (5 cm), petite TV, interrupteur tête de lit qui ne fonctionnent pas. Absence de prise USB. Gros point noir: La salle de bain: Porte qui s'ouvre vers l'intérieur et qui gêne le passage quand on est 2 et se referme sans cesse Les toilettes dans la salle de bain donc pas d'intimité et quand on se lève on est directement face au mur donc il ne faut pas être gros sinon on ne sort plus. La baignoire: trop haute, pas de place pour se doucher à cause de la forme et impossible de prendre un bain car eau tiède malgré l'absence de froid. Sèche serviettes : non fonctionnel. Les produits d'hygiène devraient avoir un format plus petit. Pour l'hygiène et cela fait plus personnalisé. Restaurant : le jonc de mer tâché Jardin: éviter d'utiliser un appareil quand les clients prennent le petit-déjeuner à l'extérieur : bruit, feuilles sur les chaises et tables. Attendre le depart de ces derniers. Absence de cendrier le soir.

Pros: Le Prévôt is an excellent and highly charming hotel with an absolutely wonderful location. The location truly takes the cake because the hotel is situated right in the middle of the historic pedestrian quarter of L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, making the town fully accessible on foot. The building itself is steeped in history and was apparently once part of the priest’s quarter associated with the neighboring church. The old stone structure gives the hotel tremendous character and authenticity. Adding to the atmosphere is a tributary of the River Sorgue flowing directly beneath the hotel near the dining area, which creates a peaceful and memorable setting. The room we were given was excellent by European standards, very spacious, with an adjoining sitting area that made the stay especially comfortable. The room was spotless, and the bathroom was also generously sized. Overall, we greatly enjoyed our stay and found the accommodations both elegant and relaxing. The breakfast was somewhat limited in selection with no warm food, but the dining room itself was quiet, charming, and pleasant. We also understand that the hotel restaurant is highly regarded and serves a combination French/Indian cuisine. We heard wonderful things about the chef, who was personally very charming and gracious when we met her. Unfortunately, during the two days we stayed in L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, the restaurant happened to be closed, so we could not experience it ourselves. Instead we ate a Michelin starred restaurant 15 minutes away and were highly disappointed. The owner was also extremely warm and gracious. Despite our late arrival after 5 p.m., he personally checked us in, which we truly appreciated.

Cons: The check-in process may feel a little unusual for some guests because there is hardly anyone stationed permanently at the reception desk. It is like a self-check-in experience, which may make some travelers uncomfortable. Parking is also a significant issue. There is a large public parking lot approximately 100 meters from the hotel, but it is often completely full. After a long drive from Nice, we had to wait quite a while before finally finding a parking space by chance when another car pulled out. Guests arriving by car should be prepared for potential delays and frustration with parking availability. In addition, the parking is expensive, we paid approximately 40 euros for overnight parking in a little village. The view from our room was somewhat restricted because of a large tree directly outside the window, although this was only a minor issue compared to the overall quality of the stay.

It is so quaint and decorated lovely makes you feel so comfortable like being at home!! The river running underneath is so unique !!! The restaurant was a pleasure loved the breakfast. Dinner was delicious and a great dining experience!!

There isn’t anything not to like!! The staff go out of their way to help you with anything you need. Location is amazing. The town is absolutely beautiful and there are so many prices to see and visit in the area.!!

Le seul bémol est le matelas à ressort qui était douloureux mais c'est vraiment le seul point négatif. Le reste est parfait.

The owner and all of the staff were excellent and extremely helpful in guiding us through the City and introducing us to some of the vendors we didn't know. Highly recommend this facility to anyone wanting an authentic French experience!

Le fait qu'à notre arrivée aucun personnel n'était présent donc hésitation de notre part pour accéder à la chambre. Pommeau de douche défectueux (sans pression) non réparé, dommage car le personnel était déjà au courant.

Very comfortable historic building sitting over a small tributary of the Sorgue river visible from the restaurant, close to the centre of l'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue with lovely rooms and a pretty restaurant. Really nice owners and staff and the food is a brilliant fusion of French and Indian influences with one charming Indian female chef whom we met and a separate French chef, working together. Tarun and Esme the owners are delightful and Stéphane the excellent sommelier has been working there for 25 years. Good value, too. Very highly recommended in all respects

L’emplacement, la décoration en lien avec la Provence, l’accueil du dirigeant et encore plus l’accueil et la gentillesse de la dame qui nous a servi le petit déjeuner qui était aussi très complet. Les chambres et la literie étaient très bien, et les produits l’Occitane très agréables.

Comme il est noté dans d’autres avis il est vrai qu’en arrivant et seulement à ce moment là le rez de chaussée sentait la javel ou le chlore. C’est le seul point à améliorer.

Situation géographique magnifique, en plein centre. Nous avons adoré la magnifique décoration du lieux et la pierre.

Nous avons adoré cette magnifique bâtisse idéalement située au cœur de L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. La proximité de tout, le calme absolu des lieux et surtout la gentillesse et la bienveillance du personnel ont rendu notre séjour particulièrement agréable. Une mention toute spéciale à la gardienne des lieux, Dali, ainsi qu’à Dani, pour leur accueil et leur attention. Une adresse pleine de charme que nous recommandons vivement.
