We had a wonderful experience at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly, warm, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. They went above and beyond our expectations to ensure we felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout our stay. The room was clean.

The bed was uncomfortable. I was given a room two floors below, and the view from the window was just a large white wall. I also did not like the location, and the breakfast was disappointing.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Istanbul! Everything was great from the beginning until the end. The room was comfortable, the hotel was clean, and the overall atmosphere was very pleasant. A special thank you to Mehdi, who was incredibly helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. He was always happy to help us and gave us great recommendations for restaurants, places to visit, and things to do in Istanbul. His recommendations really made our trip even more enjoyable! We truly appreciated his kindness and hospitality. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul!

Je n’ai rien aimé, parce que car je n’ai jamais accéder à l’hôtel, toutes les rues étaient fermées, impossible d’aller jusqu’à l’hôtel

L’hôtel était inaccessible par les rues toutes les rues étaient fermées. Impossible de rentrer avec sa voiture, on nous avait dit que y avait un parking privé arrivé là-bas y avait pas de parking. Je suis très déçu.

I had a really pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff was very kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. I especially want to mention Mehdi, who was very friendly and super helpful and made me feel very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again.

Le personnel est très à l’écoute et intervient rapidement dès qu’un problème se présente. J'ai trouvé l’accompagnement particulièrement attentif, avec une vraie prise en compte des remarques et des besoins.

Le quartier peut certainement poser problème pour certains, mais il faut aussi rappeler qu’il est encore en construction. Il a l’avantage d’être très proche du centre historique et permet surtout de vivre au contact des habitants, ce que je trouve vraiment intéressant.

I stayed in Marmara hotel for a couple of days, it was a great experience. Very helpful staff, specially Mehdi. I needed to exchange some money and had some troubles with my bank and had a really bad day. Mehdi spent more than an hour helping me figure out the problem with my bank and could eventually exchange my money. It was a relief. This is not something that you get everywhere; this kind of hospitality and kindness. Thank you Mehdi so much for your help and kindness.

The location

It was one of the worst hotel experience I have had. It started at the check in day, I already messaged the hotel that we would be arriving after midnight, when we arrived he was shocked and gave us a room we didn’t book because the hotel was full( with no price compensation although it was a downgrade)! But what actually got on my nerves is what he made me go through in my last day. I booked the hotel for an extra day so I can pack my stuff with no rush and rest before my flight( as I don’t like keeping my stuff in the hotels after checking out) so 2 nights before my check out he told me that my check out is in the next day I was really confused and told him I’m pretty sure it’s the day after tmw and showed him my booking dates, he told me no it’s wrong and even proceeded to check if there is any available room for me with extra charges and offered me a room at the basement! I was shocked and we spent our night packing and woke up early to make the check out, the other guy at the reception was really shocked that we checked out and left our luggage in the hallway then he told one of my sisters that he’s surprised that we are not using our room to keep our stuff and made the check out one day earlier! i was out by then and I got really angry and confronted the receptionist he lied and started shouting at me and my other sister and denied everything! And instead of apologizing and owning up to his mistake or offer a refund for that day he wanted to take a 5-euro commission because he ordered us a taxi to the airport!

I liked the location. It was in the city center and close to the tram stop. The staff were friendly, kind, and always available to help.There were lots of restaurants, bars, and supermarkets around the hotel.

The lication was perfect. Mendi (at the reception) is an expert on great locations 🙏

Il primo giorno, appena entrato in camera, ho trovato un capello lungo nel lavandino. La tavoletta del WC era rotta. Mi è stato detto al check out che avrei dovuto farlo presente prima, ma non spetta al cliente controllare che la stanza sia in ordine. La stanza singola inoltre è talmente piccola che è ai limite del vivibile,per fare la doccia si bagna tutto il bagno, perché la zona doccia è ricavata tra WC e muro. Nel bagno era difficile muoversi, a tal punto che mi sono tagliato il gomito con il porta carta igienica

Le personnel très sympathique à l'écoute. Le ménage et le change de serviettes a été fait tout les jours. La clim dans la chambre, le lit vraiment très confortable on s'est bien reposé.

Ne pas pouvoir garer la voiture plus proche mais après vu l'emplacement c'est peu être normal.

The staff members were exceptional! Thank you to day staff for taking care of us so well and making sure we were comfortable and answered all of our questions when needed for providing us with everything. And a big big thank you to night staff MEHDI for being more than perfect with the service absolutely brilliant! Mehdi made sure we were well taken care of at any time throughout the night. Very involved and attentive with everything. We appreciate all the help Mehdi thank you!

В принципе, отель подойдет, если приходить только вечером, чтобы переночевать, как это делали мы. Но проводить там много времени невозможно, так как нам досталось подвальное помещение. Цена вполне нормальная, мы бронировали номер на три дня.

На ресепшене мужчина настаивал на оплате наличными, хотя мы заранее предупредили, что будем оплачивать картой. Мы объяснили, что при снятии наличных наш банк удерживает большую комиссию, но он всё равно просил заплатить наличными, ссылаясь на то, что при оплате картой отель платит высокий налог. Также не понравилось, что нам предоставили номер в подвальном помещении. Окно выходило в место, где постоянно курили люди. Если его открыть, в номер сразу попадал запах сигарет и мочи, поэтому проветрить комнату было невозможно.

Stayed for one week, pretty good location of the hotel - a lot of places to eat or visit in a walking distance. They helped with early check in as well, was really helpful. Friendly staff.

The neighborhood is not the fanciest, steep roads and local workers vibes. Noise was heard across the rooms, the view of the room was a metal staircase.

Il m’a dit qu’il allait appeler la police et que j’allais devoir lui donner 1000€ , j’ai dû payer pour pouvoir partir de l’hôtel, j’étais en pleure j’ai dû courir dans la rue pour trouver un autre hôtel qui étais bien moins cher et bien mieux . J’ai porter plainte .

The reception staff were extremely helpful at all times. The hotel location was great. Easy walking distance to all of the main places we wanted to see.

For a 6 night stay the breakfast was extremely limited and exactly the same every day. The room was much smaller than the photo on booking. com The bathroom constantly had a strong sewage smell.

Het ontbijt was een ramp , alle dagen hetzelfde en heel pover . Brood was meestal oudbakken . Geen frisdrank , geen fruit of yoghurt.Koffie was er meestal niet .Donderdag toegekomen en op Dinsdag was de kamer maar 1 keer gepoetst . Een schande was het .

Alles had beter gekund . De kraan van de lavabo is nooit gepoetst , toilet was echt vies toen we vertrokken.

The staff is really friendly and helpful. Whenever you need something, you can contact them and they will try their best to help you out. In less than 10 minutes you will reach the tram Beyazıt-Kapalıçarşı from the hotel, so the location is good! Anyone coming here should know that it's not an extravagant hotel, good price for value. We were renting three rooms for 9 people in total and were satisfied.

The standard room for three people seems to be way smaller than the economy one in level -1. I think the only difference between both rooms is the window in level 1 (which you don't have in level -1, you're looking at a wall). Also, the hotel should maybe hire an extra person for cleaning as it seemed very basic when we got back to our room. However, we enjoyed our stay.

The service was friendly.

The location is in the middle of the shoe market, with lots of cars, difficult to walk by and for Istanbul also a bit dirty. The pillows were stained, but they gave us clean ones as soon as we asked.

Location super, close to main historical sites; street a little too abprupt; very friendly personnel; yet, to work additionally to the organization; they had some repairs dyring my stay, which is understandable. They absolutely did their best, in my case.

La ubicación del hotel fue uno de los puntos más negativos de nuestra experiencia. Si bien se encuentra a unos 15/20 minutos de la Mezquita Azul, el barrio donde está ubicado no nos pareció recomendable, especialmente por la noche. La zona se siente insegura, es muy ruidosa, oscura y poco cuidada. Además, tuvimos varios inconvenientes con algunas de las habitaciones. Una de ellas estaba en el subsuelo y tenía un fuerte olor a cloaca, al punto de que debíamos mantener la puerta del baño cerrada para poder permanecer cómodamente en la habitación. También la ducha presentaba problemas, ya que el rociador se caía constantemente. Otra de las habitación no coincidía completamente con las fotos publicadas. En general, consideramos que las imágenes en Booking muestran los espacios con demasiado retoque y generan expectativas que no se ajustan a la realidad.

Great location, but up on the hill, a bit hard to walk if it's raining

The description of the room is not close to the reality. It said street view then they put us at the basement. Staff reception was going back and forth about the situation. No slippers in room, no brushes, etc ..., if you need to have to call reception. The airport transfer is just they called you a taxi then ask for higher price compared to the parameters, then keep asking why you did not choose their service. I expected to have a different type of car transfer but I realized they charged me so much higher when I arrived to the airport. Shower was broken, need to call reception to fix it.
