Reviewed Aug 4, 2026Fué mi segunda vista al hotel y de verdad que aúnque fueron pocos días me sentí tan tan cómodo, las instalaciones increíbles, la paz , la calma, la limpieza, el servicio y quiero agradecer en especial a la chica que está en recepción de verdad súpero mís expectativas y la de mi acompañante si di de volveré a ir próximamente. Mil mil gracias a todos los que hacen posible la experiencia de COCOS HOTEL.

Reviewed Feb 13, 2026It is definitely a vibe, if you want to feel like you are staying almost right on the beach, surrounded by the jungle feel in a bamboo house this is for you. Great location, less than 5 min to the beach.
Be prepared that you will hear everything happening in the rooms next to you, as the ceiling is not sealed all the rooms are connected, but we were lucky enough with guests staying around us. There is no hot water just barely warm, I guess most people are ok with that as it is very hot outside but I enjoy hot shower at any weather. Lastly we weee very disturbed by roosters crowing at 4 am each morning and continuing till about 10am, this really disturbed our sleep and would be the only reason why we could stay here again.

The room seemed quite minimalist at first but it was so well designed that it lacked nothing - hot water, air conditioning, ceiling fan, supplies of drinking water, insect repellent, charging points, beach towels, balcony with hammock. The housekeeping was excellent - each morning out for early breakfast, the room cleaned by my return. The hotel is situated at the very end of the beach, five minutes walk from Playa del Amor, and about twenty minutes walk from the main centre, either along the beach or along the tracks. There are coffee and bread buns freely available in the morning but for a fuller breakfast I headed to beachside Lola's Restaurant five minutes walk away.
Didn't realise the pool was clothing-optional until I was leaving!

If I want to be picky: work a bit on the outdoor at the entrances of the hotel. A bit dusty and neglected, not good for the first impression.

The pool was soooo clean - we've never seen a pool tended to in the way this one was! The location was great as well, close enough that you had everything you needed, but far enough away that it was really quiet and serene.

Quiet end of the beach close to playa del amor but 20mins walk to the main restaurant area. Nice view from.balcony. Many places closer to town are ridiculously expensive. This was great value.
Room was a little cramped but air conditioning was great and quiet. Should be two chairs on terrace but we asked for a second one and they brought it.

Reviewed Nov 6, 2025El sitio es muy bonito y está muy cerca de la playa. Llegamos antes y nos dejaron entrar en la habitación. Nos ayudaron en todo momento, por ejemplo para reservar taxi y comprar boletos de autobús.
Está rodeado de vegetación por lo que si no te gusta la posibilidad de que haya bichos igual no es tu sitio aunque nosotras no tuvimos problemas. Y el paseo a la playa quizá es un poco oscuro cuando se hace de noche, pero con la linterna del móvil perfecto.

Faltó tal vez un espejo de cuerpo completo en algún lado del lugar jejeje para revisar los outfits pero de ahí en fuera todo muy bien.

Si tuviera que elegir algo serían los accesos, les falta un poco de trabajo de terracería. Pero nada grave. Solo que si hay que tener en cuenta un poco de camino en tierra/lodo (depende de la temporada) pero nada fuera de lo que es la experiencia en Zipolite. Volvería sin problemas

Reviewed Aug 19, 2025Me fascinó, y deberían decirlo, que tenían muchos gatitos, cuidados y muy amorosos. Las fotos no le hacen justicia. Es un lugar muy agradable y donde puedes descansar: sin ruidos y con un muy buen ambiente.
Quizá me hubiera gustado que, dentro de las habitaciones, exista lugar para guardar más cosas.
