Hotel de la Cité

I really enjoyed my one night stay at Hotel de la Cité. The hotel was easy to find and well situated with transport links nearby. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. The interior design of the hotel as well as the decor of the room was very nice. The room was also clean. I would not hesitate to stay here again and I would highly recommend this hotel to others. Thank you very much to all staff for a pleasant stay.

Stayed here with friends could not fault this hotel very friendly reception staff on arrival. The rooms are clean and comfortable the night staff were very accommodating serving us beers and pizzas with a smile. Breakfast was lovely great selection of continental . Location was 10 min taxi journey to city center great weekend will deffo be back

Le décor …

Great hotel with easy access to transport links and walkable to many tourist attractions. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Lots of choice for breakfast. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

.

Conenient and clean

Really small room. Breakfast was ok with very limited choices.

Very good but a bit isolated from the centre

Nice peaceful hotel just on the outskirts of Nantes city centre. Lovely clean rooms, helpful staff decent bar. Complimentary drinks offered as room wasn't ready & weather was awful so couldn't explore.

Very nice hotel. We had large and very comfortable room. The lighting at the one end of the room was not ideal. The garbage and recycling was small for empty water bottles. Very good location, 15 minute walk to the centre of the city. We had an issue for a plug for hairdryerand extended cord to front door outlet. The use of paper cups in the roomwas interesting but glasses at water station in the lobby. Overall great accommodating staff.

Beautiful linens, towels and super clean.

Very good Helpful staff Well stocked bar and serves food

Perfect for our stay enroute to the ferry. Nantes has a lot to offer too. Staff was excellent, food great, rooms very comfortable.

Very good value

Our stay was most enjoyable. In particular the young lady on reception...wish I had got her name, was very helpful and friendly. The secure parking underground was great. Chargeable but worth your car being secure. The breakfast was good and had some GF options once we asked. The hotel is easy walking distance to most tourist areas. The only negative thing I would say is that the bathroom especially the toilet area was quite small.

A very good place to stay. Staff are all very friendly and helpful; nothing is too much trouble for them. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Nantes. Highly recommended.

After a delay with rooms (complimentary coffees were offered) the stay was pleasant. Staff friendly and helpful. The hotel was within walking distance to most of the sights and the area felt safe

Staff are so helpful, real service nothibg is too much effort. Cyclists facilities are judt fantastic.

Beds were very comfortable and lovely bar area. Reasonable price

We had a lovely stay at Hôtel de la Cité in Nantes. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We especially appreciated the water-filling station in the bar and the air purifier in our room — thoughtful touches that made our visit even more comfortable.

Great

My family enjoyed staying at this hotel. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. We liked the overall ambiance. The breakfast buffet was one of the best, even though it was 18 euros per person. Parking was easy, on premises. Two special features that stood out: free lovely live music on Friday night and a water dispensing machine with sparking water. I’d stay again in this hotel the future.

Better without the thumping music but it was always turned down when I asked. The terrace is a real boon.

Different, friendly good helpful service nice patio and bar area.

Very well located hotel, super clean quiet well priced and comfortable. Very high standards of decor for the price. Excellent breakfast setting me up well for my onward journey. Front of desk staff charming and helpful.

Amazing staff namely Charly who makes the best Rum punch including in Barbados , Radwan except his football knowledge !, and Maxeme who’s the most smiley, bubbly person. They made our stay memorable. Great location, but best staff in all our many travels around the world . Top marks .

Friendly staff and a really nice hotel within walking distance to the city center

Excellent hotel with really helpful and friendly staff. The room was well designed so it felt quite spacious. It was very clean, seemed newly renovated, very comfortable bed, great shower and good wifi. Parking is a massive bonus.

Friendly staff and welcoming atomsphere! Will def return again!

Sehr schönes Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal.

The property was amazing, fantastic room with facilities, but nothing beats the absolutely amazing service from all the staff. I have never stayed at a hotel where they were like my friends, recognized us, made sure we didn’t go without and just genuine nice people. Would happily stay here again just for their hospitality alone!

Nice place, limited meat options at breakfast.

Tres bien

A nice modern hotel All the staff spoke English The breakfast was excellent for the price.

Ottima struttura recentemente rinnovata

Was a great hotel. Room was modern and new. Very clean and practical. The staff was great too, very welcoming and spoke english without hesitation. They let me take the Express breakfast to the room as well and gave us 2 bottles of water as well wothout asking. Sweeeet

Friendly and efficient, very conveniently located for town centre/station/airport access

Great stay!

Clean, great location and awesome staff. Everything you need from a hotel, would recommend

Très bon hôtel. Très bon rapport qualité / prix

Clean but cosy

Tout était parfait

Très bien

Thank you to the girls at the reception! They made wonderful suggestions.

Would highly recommend this hotel! Location is great for exploring the City. The hotel itself is beautiful. From the second you enter, the smell is delightful and the staff were all so lovely and helpful. The lounge area and terrace were gorgeous and the rooms were so clean and modern. If I return to Nantes I will be booking here again!

Super hôtel et personnel au petit soin.

Our stay was excellent.

Nice hotel - good location near city center - quiet

Great service and very kind staff!

Convenient for overnight stop in Nantes, ten minutes walk to airport bus /train station , also for sightseeing base. Helpful and friendly staff.

Great value, smart hotel

Top

Lovely hotel and staff. The room was perfect, clean, comfortable bed, air purifier and coffee machine. The staff were so helpful, the lady who checked us in was absolutely lovely. Were very accommodating when we asked for extra items such as an iron. Lovely little bar downstairs but refillable water bottles you could take up to your room. Highly recommend.

Top

Quiet, convenient and comfortable. Friendly and helpful (English speaking) staff.

We have VIP status on hotels.com and booked this as it was a partnered hotel with extra benefits. They gave 0 benefits, hotel was empty too.

We decided to stay at this hotel due to its location and also being a modern hotel close to the city centre. What an amazing hotel, very easy to get to from the airport Uber. The decor and bar/restaurant area are like new, ultra modern and very clean. The bedrooms have big windows, good aircon and very comfortable. We had tapas and wine in the hotel, lush! Locally close to Carefour and other small shops. Very quiet area. Would recommend.

Parfait ! Rien a redire

I spent four nights at the hotel, while attending a research conference in Nantes. The hotel made for the perfect base and home-away-from-home while in this beautiful city. Everything is within walking distance, and the tram is just a few minutes away. Be sure to also include breakfast if you visit, as both the food and service are excellent. If you, like me, needs to do a bit of work, the Internet and smart TVs provide top facilities to work and relax at the hotel. Everyone in the staff, from the breakfast crew to the reception desk and the lovely cleaning ladies went above and beyond to ensure the best experience throughout my stay. I will definitely return to the hotel, and bring my family, next time we come back to Nantes.

Hautement recommandable

Great stay , very professional and friendly staff
