The staff were so helpful and friendly, their service was great and they were willing to accede to my multiple requests like changing my entire bedding + towel set on the spot eventhough it was late at night. the location is pretty convenient too, not too far from the main beach clubs and cafe area (8-15~ mins bike ride).

the room was far smaller than expected, the toilet had a constant faint sewage smell the entire duration of stay. when i first arrived, my towels were old and gray, the sheets, blankets, and pillowcases were musty. i had to request for an entire new set of towels and bed linens which were in a completely different state (cleaner) from the sets that i was greeted by. the air conditioning always felt much warmer than the temperature that i set it at and I did not manage to successfully cool down the room to my usual preference (23-25 deg) at all during my stay.

Staff were lovely! Pool area was nice and restaurant food was great. Best breakfast selection I’ve had the whole 9 days I’ve been in Bali! Room was nice and had everything I needed.

Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker und frisch, man kann Fische füttern und der Pool sieht sauber aus.

Wir wurden wortwörtlich im Keller untergebracht, über uns war der Pool wir haben die ganze Nacht über uns extrem laute Schritte gehört und der Gang schalt sehr laut. Wir waren zum Glück nur eine Nacht in dem Hotel. Außerdem roch es in dem Hotelzimmer zu sehr nach Raumerfrischer, als würde man versuchen einen anderen Geruch zu verstecken. Ich konnte die ganze Nacht durch den Geruch kaum schlafen und hatte Kopfweh. Das Gym ist extrem klein drei Cardio Geräte mehr nicht. Wir haben zwar ein Gratis Getränk bekommen, aber bei der Massage hieß es, es wäre kein Termin frei. Dabei wusste man das wir nur einen Tag da sind und morgens früh wieder los mussten. Als wir vor dem Spa standen, war nicht mal jemand vor Ort.

1階の窓のない部屋は湿気があり、少しカビ臭かった。 宿泊するのであれば、2階以上の窓があるライステラス側の部屋がいいと思います。 あとはプールでプールタオルなどの貸出があればよかった。

Reggeli, masszázs és a személyzet hibátlan, nagyon jó élmény volt, jó ár-érték arány, ajánlom.

A szoba kicsi volt, a csap nem folyt le rendesen, illetve éjszaka valami zúgott.

lo sucio que estaban las sábanas y toallas, tuvimos que decir que nos cambiaran las sábanas y el pobre chico de la limpieza, sábana que abría sábana que estaba sucia así hasta unas 10 veces aproximadamente hasta q las pudo cambiar. Por otro lado hay hormigas en el recipiente de cereales del desayuno.

Everything was perfect. Quiet and peaceful. I would definitely come back here again. The staff were really nice and helpful.

Fra min altan kunne jeg se ud til havet, som var knap 4 km væk. Maden var god og servicen rigtig god. Vi fik nogle voucher ved ankomsten med rabat til bl.a. mad på hotellet.

Der manglede møbler. Der var ikke nogen på altanen, så det bad jeg om. Der var heller ikke mange borde og stole hverken ved poolen eller 2. etage, som var et område, man kunne sidde på. Kun 4 liggestole ved poolen! Poolen var placeret lige foran restauranten og spiseområdet. Ikke særlig hyggeligt og jeg så aldrig nogen i den i den uge, jeg var der. Et meget lille motionsrum med 1 løbebånd og 1 cykel samt lidt vægte. Der lugtede af kloak på 2 af værelserne, vi havde booket. Massagen på hotellet var godt, men i kælderen hvor der lugtede af skimmelsvamp.

It wasn’t the cleanest. I initially booked the cheapest room but had to upgrade to their most premium one as the cheaper room was stuffy, smelt a bit funny, flies were flying around the room and there was hair everywhere from the previous guest. The upgraded room was cleaner and bigger which was good, but I think I may have gotten bed bugs from my stay. There was lots of dirt / debris on the floor in the hallway as well

Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und wir konnten das Zimmer vom Keller auch direkt für den nächsten Tag umbuchen. Das Frühstück war super und auch das Zimmer dann im ersten Stock mit wunderschöner Aussicht. Vielen Dank er war eine tolle Unterkunft für den Start in unseren Urlaub

Unfassbar schöne Ausblicke auf Reisterrassen, abends am Pool entspannen war auch sehr gemütlich. Das Personal war wirklich top, absolut freundlich und entgegenkommend in jeder Hinsicht. Das Gym im 2. Stock ist auch praktisch und man hat auch einen wirklich tollen Ausblick wieder auf die Reisfelder. Das Frühstücksbuffet bot auch eine gute Auswahl an Speisen.

Hat wirklich Luft nach oben beim Thema Sauberkeit.. Haben zwei Mal nach einem neuen Bettlaken gefragt aber die neu bezogenen waren auch immer schmutzig / fleckig. Es roch zwar relativ sauber aber wenn da wirklich Flecken und so sind sollte man eventuell doch mehr Bleichmittel verwenden oder neue anschaffen, ähnlich bei den Handtüchern.

Rooms looks not very new

Staff very welcoming and friendly, especially Ayu and Ria at reception. Lots of complimentaries at checkin, was a nice touch! Buffet breakfast was really good and had lots of options. The chef making the eggs always had a happy smile and offered to put additional ingredients in and make the eggs exactly how you want. Room had amazing view or rice fields and also roof balcony had nice view and space for yoga and a gym room. Room was comfortable.

Only one pillow per person in the bed, and it was two twins put together to make the double, which isn't always the most comfortable.

Variety of things available

When i decided to add one more day i looked it online i found it with 50 euro when i asked the manager how much if I’m willing to stay another day he said about 120 euro and i didn’t liked it because it wasn’t even promotion online

Ho soggiornato al ValStar Hotel Canggu per ben 17 notti e l’ho utilizzato come base operativa durante il mio viaggio a Bali. Da qui mi spostavo quotidianamente per esplorare l’isola e, in alcune occasioni, ho pernottato anche in altre strutture durante le escursioni a Nusa Penida e alle Gili Islands. L’hotel si è rivelato un’ottima scelta: le camere sono dignitose, perfette per chi cerca un buon rapporto qualità-prezzo. La colazione non è particolarmente abbondante, ma tutto ciò che viene proposto è fresco e di buona qualità. Un plauso speciale va allo staff della reception, sempre estremamente gentile, cordiale e disponibile per qualsiasi esigenza. Ho apprezzato molto anche la possibilità di noleggiare uno scooter direttamente in hotel, con grande flessibilità sugli orari di restituzione: un servizio davvero comodo per chi vuole esplorare Bali in autonomia. La posizione è un altro punto di forza: l’hotel si trova in una zona tranquilla, ma in soli 4-5 minuti di scooter (traffico permettendo) si raggiunge la vivace vita notturna di Canggu. Nel complesso è stata un’esperienza molto positiva e tornerei volentieri a soggiornare qui durante un futuro viaggio a Bali.

La pulizia delle camere da migliorare, e maggior controllo della biancheria (lenzuola, federe etc etc).

The staff friendly and understanding with our problem.

We booked two rooms, and both were dirty even after we requested a full cleaning. They also deleted bad reviews, as you can see on Google Maps. I think this is unacceptable for a four-star hotel. If you read this, do not book this hotel; it is in really bad condition.

Amazing value for money. This time we got the suite, with plenty of space and a gorgeous balcony overlooking the rice field. Staff is always very helpful, friendly and smiley. Breakfast is good, with decent choice

The suite has a great balcony, but no chairs to sit and enjoy that gorgeous view and sunset. We actually borrowed couple of stools from a common area.
