Good location, good facilities

Loved the location as perfect for exploring the old town. Service/staff were excellent, including check-in at the hotel, parking, help with luggage to the apartment (as lots of stairs), and information before and during our stay. The apartment was great, and it had everything we needed, plus the bonus of being serviced. We had access to the hotel rooftop terrace, and sundowners are a must as the views of the old town are so good. Really recommend.

Not so much that I didn't like, but more that I wasn't aware of how many stairs were involved, both in getting to the apartment and due to being on the second floor. Tbf, I didn't realise how many stairs/hill there was in Coimbra all together!! So this is more just to let others know that you do need to be mobile and fairly fit and able.

We very much enjoyed the apartment itself and the terrace was very nice at the end of a long day! We loved the sweet cat that hung out on the terrace as well!

The check in process was unnecessarily complicated and the front desk staff at the hotel was quite rude. It would be much easier to send the codes to get into the apt and building over messaging versus having to drive to a hotel then walk with lots of luggage. We didn’t feel like going to the hotel was necessary at all other than to get a parking pass and that could also be sent as a QR code upon digital check in.

Lovely apartment, loads of space, great location in the heart of the old town but easy to get to from the bus stop drop off from the train station. Very well equipped with oven, hob, dishwasher and washing machine if needed.

Die Lage war super, im Zentrum von Coimbra, mit schöner Aussicht vom 5.Stock. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und gut ausgestattet, mit Waschmaschine, auch Kaffee war vorhanden. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und half uns mit den Koffern.

Es gibt keinen Aufzug in den 5. Stock, man muss auch im Appartment auf Stolperstellen achten.

There is no elevator

Het appartement ligt op een perfecte locatie; midden in het centrum van Coimbra. Het is lekker ruim.

Het was nog best even lopen van het hotel waar je moet inchecken naar het appartement, zeker met alle baggage. De tweepersoonsbedden zijn wat smal voor 2 personen. Het gebouw heeft geen lift maar dat was ons bekend.

The apartment description stated a patio, .it was a 2 foot dirty space with a table/2 chairs, I acknowledge there was not a photo in the description but it was a not "a patio" . The staff listened to my concerns and offered an apartment with garden access. This was generous and welcome. The staff from Hotel Oslo were very helpful

We were booked somewhere else and it was mouldy. This was a god send.

Great location and super service for check in

This is an older building in the downtown area, so you do hear the noises from the street. No big deal for us but good to know.

Obiekt bardzo czysty. Apartament był w pełni wyposażony i znajdował się w centrum starego miasta Coimbry.

Minusem jest dojazd do obiektu. Do samego apartamentu nie da się dojechać samochodem. Jeżeli zabieracie ze sobą dużo bagaży warto pamiętać że dojście do Entre Ruas Apartments jest utrudnione przez liczne schody. W budynku nie ma windy a samo mieszkanie jest bardzo małe. Jeśli liczycie na odpoczynek z poranną kawą na tarasie to nie w tym miejscu. Mikroskopijny taras z widokiem na wnętrze klatki schodowej.

Un apartamento precioso en el casco antiguo de Coimbra.

Lo peor han sido las escaleras desde el hotel Oslo a la puerta del apartamento. Después un cuarto sin ascensor (si lo indican antes de hacer la reserva, no lo vimos), con unas escaleras muy altas. Esto es una pena, ya que el apartamento es genial.

The apartment is cozy, elegant, spacious, elegant and fully furnished and equipped. The view is amazing, top floor with inside garden available for morning breakfast and relaxing time. Kitchen is furnished with all modern design appliances.

El baño un poco pequeño pero lo demás muy bien.

Precioso y enorme piso, totalmente nuevo, decorado con gusto, súper cómodo. Dos baños + aseo. Perfecta ubicación, preciosas vistas

Logística para dejar el coche y llevar las maletas un poco complicada aunque bien resuelta. El edificio no tiene ascensor y las escaleras son complicadas, con escalones altísimos. Estábamos en el 4 piso, la subida con las maletas muy cansada.

Muy buena ubicación. El personal fue muy amable y eficiente. Se preocuparon de facilitarnos la estancia en todo momento. El apartamento es muy bonito y tenía todo lo que necesitábamos. Sin duda, repetiría otra vez.

Staff were great. Location was central but the apartment was very quiet at night. Apartment was very nicely decorated, clean and spacious.

This is a spacious apartment just up a little ways from the main pedestrian zone. Very comfortable rooms and beds and a cute little garden surrounded by some old, old buildings! So charming - and we loved the soundtrack of the various buskers and student musicians on the street (which can be shut out with the double windows ;)). It was nice having the Hotel Oslo as a meeting point and resource. A sweet hotel employee helped us with our bags since cars can’t enter the area where the apartment is (except for limited night hours). With a bathtub and washing machine, this was a great place to relax and catch up after many days of travel.

Just hard to get to up the many stairs with young kids and rolly bags. But we’re learning this is the way of centrally located apartments in Portugal.

It is spacious and centrally located.

From the check-in spot (Hotel Oslo) to the apartment, tho it is supposed to take approximately 5 minutes’ walking, are several flights of stairs (the public stairs and the building stairs (the building has no elevator)). If you have big luggage, you should be aware of that.

Logement idéalement situé dans la rue principale de Coimbra. Spacieux et confortable, bien décoré. Place de parking pratique.

A noter ; beaucoup de marchés pour accéder à l’immeuble et à l’appartement. Plancher qui grince et du bruit entre les appartements. Salle de bain étroite.

Apartamento muy céntrico y espacioso. Estaba muy limpio y con todo lo necesario. Muy bien aislado y no se oía ningún ruido por lo que hemos descansado cómodamente. El personal ha sido muy atento en todo momento y poder disponer de aparcamiento cercano al alojamiento ha sido una ventaja. Totalmente recomendable.

Nos gustó todo. Si hubiera que poner una pega sería es que no hay ascensor, pero nosotros estábamos en la primera planta y no resultó ser un problema.

La posizione perfetta, l'appartamento era spazioso, moderno, lo staff veramente gentile e disponibile (sia dell'hotel Olso dove abbiamo effettuato il check in, sia dell'appartamento - due ragazzi ci hanno anche aiutato a portare le valige in casa), il parcheggio incluso (fondamentale)

Mancava la lavatrice nell'appartamento (per un road trip e'importante)

O apartamento fica bem localizado, é bastante espaçoso e completo. A equipe do Hotel Oslo foi bastante prestativa e prestou todo o suporte necessário. O estacionamento é coberto e gratuito. O apartamento é espaçoso, com dois quartos separados. E o café da manhã é completo, delicioso é entregue na porta da acomodação!

Ainda bem que havíamos concentrado nossos pertences em poucas malas, pq não dá pra chegar na porta da acomodação de carro.

Well located. Tastefully decorated, clean and in excellent condition. The staff was outstanding.

There is no elevator in the property and going up and down to the upper units could be tiring for elder people.

Great location, super central. There is a car parking nearby. We were both able to work remotely from the apartment, there's a desk and the kitchen table is also ok for working We had a good time. The apartment belongs to a hotel and the whole building is made of similar apartments. The staff was nice.

The bathroom was a bit crammed. The back half of the house was a bit dark. The decoration was somewhat impersonal.

L’emplacement est idéal pour visiter tous les points forts de la ville. L’organisation avec l’hôtel Oslo pour le parking et le checking in était irréprochable et très pratique. Nous avons aussi beaucoup aimé les petites fiches de suggestions (shopping, courses, restaurants…) l’appartement était bien équipé et très confortable, avec de belles vues sur les toits de Coimbra. Les chambres étaient parfaites pour nous (2 adultes et un enfant de 14 ans). Il est important de noter (mais on était bien averti des la réservation) que l’appartement est au 5e étage sans ascenseur et qu’il y a deux poutres au niveau du sol car il est dans les combles. Cela ne nous a pas du tout gêné mais pourrait être un inconvénient pour d’autres voyageurs.

You have to carry your luggage, up hill and. a bout 200 m, with stairs. The hotel handling the check-in helps but you have to know it in advance, pack your stuff in a small trolley, etc. I didn't know about it when I made the reservation. I got an email before arrival with those details.

Our stay at Entre Ruas Apartments in Coimbra was absolutely wonderful. The apartment was beautiful—spotlessly clean, stylish, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. It was one of the nicest places we stayed during our trip to Portugal. The staff truly made the experience exceptional. They were incredibly friendly, responsive, and went above and beyond to help us get from the hotel to the apartment and make sure we were comfortable. Their hospitality was outstanding. One piece of advice for future guests: don’t let the walk or the stairs discourage you. Coimbra is a historic hillside city, and the climb is absolutely worth it. The location is fantastic, and once you arrive, you’ll be rewarded with a beautiful place to stay in the heart of the city.

Beautifully redone apartment in an old, historic building. Very comfortable and nicely furnished.

This is a very spacious apartment with all the amenities. Feels like understated luxury. The views from the balcony and the way the sun shines through the windows are stunning. We love Coimbra and have stayed at the same hotel several times but we decided on this place because we had more people. It was a lovely experience but one you definitely want to stay at for a few nights. Had 2.5 baths, A/C units in every room, and was very comfortable. Loved the little back patio garden as well.

We were 5 people total, had been traveling through Portugal for almost two weeks, this was our last night. Although communication was great about how to check in as you have to go to a neighboring hotel, wish we had known about the hours you can drive on the street closer to the apartment. We each had a small rolling bag and a backpack and several other random bags. The trek from the hotel, up an alleyway, up two flights of stairs on the road, up a sloped street the apartment is on, then up 5 flights of stairs was not easy although we got some help from hotel staff. So pack light! But I think I’d do it again because it’s such a beautiful space and area. Also, I know not common in Portugal but I had planned on washing clothes, there was no dryer just a drying rack which would have been fine had we had more time but should be listed.

При бронировании с меня списали 150 евро в качестве депозита без моего ведома и мне потребовалось много усилий и более 1 месяца для его возврата. Слишком большая сумма только для проверки наличия средств на карте, по моему мнению. Квартиры расположены на пешеходной улице, а мы на автомобилях попались в западню с узкими улочками. Сначала нужно ехать в отель для регистрации заселения и парковки автомобиля и только потом пешком отправляться до квартир (5 минут примерно). В здании нет лифта. На 4 этаж ведёт крутая и узкая лестница

Wonderful. One of the best apartment-type properties I’ve ever stayed at. Spacious, clean, well-outfitted with kitchen stuff including laundry and dishwater tablets. Access to a nice garden. Flawless.

Piso antiguo reformado con un gusto exquisito, combinando de forma muy acertada lo originario con lo moderno. Tonos y materiales que aportan calma y bienestar. Todas las comodidades en el apartamento. Camas muy cómodas, servicio de limpieza y reposición muy generoso. Excelente ubicación.

The only negative was the stairs. It’s an old building and no room for a lift

The location is very central, just a few seconds walk to the main tourist street. Great to have a washer and drying rack. Well equipped with everything you'd need. Great blackout shades in the bedroom.

The photos of the apartment are staged and make it seem way nicer than it is. Everything in the apartment felt cheap and mid. It was also quite loud. Soundproofing is inadequate, especially for the moped that drove through the streets in the early hours of the morning and kept us awake, and hours of a low grade noise coming from somewhere - TV next door? Music outside? The apartment, although generally clean, had things that made it feel dirty: a squashed fly on the wall above the bed (see photos), an old dishcloth, bird poop on the stairs leading to the garden, AC filter dirty (I washed it myself because it was giving me allergies - I added before and after photos), a blanket without a duvet (in a hotel, yuck), a pot with something stuck to the sides. Although the staff was generally nice, when my husband asked for a set of sheets for the sofa bed because I was sick and needed to sleep separately, the guy he spoke to was clearly inconvenienced by the request. Also, the sofa bed was quite uncomfortable. We would definitely never stay here again.

It was very comortable. We enjoyed the roof top garden. The staff were very helpful, particularly taking luggage up the steps and into the apartment.

The location was absolutely perfect - right in the heart of the town, but still very quiet. We didn't take advantage of the kitchen facilities, but they were great if you were staying longer and wanted to cook meals. I also liked that we were able to check in at the hotel nearby and leave our luggage before our apartment was ready. The beds were very comfortable.

We stayed in the large 4th floor apartment which was very comfortable and had a great view from balconies.

Long walk with bags and a steep climb, but not a problem for our group.

De tuin / terras: er stonden twee stoeltjes in een soort gangetje als zijnde terras bij het appartement en via wenteltrap kwam je op een soort terrastuin voor alle appartementen, maar deze was totaal niet onderhouden. Dat was jammer.

Superschönes, perfekt aufgeteiltes Appartement für 5 Personen - mit 3 WC, 2 Bädern, Küche, Esstisch, Garten. Tolle Lage in der Fußgängerzone.

4. Stock ohne Aufzug, sehr steile Stiege.

O espaço e a localização são excelentes. A garagem é gratuita. Carreguei o carro elétrico sem custos. Os funcionários e a gerência são super simpáticos e prestáveis. A estadia foi muito agradável. Volto numa próxima oportunidade

O alojamento fica numa zona histórica e o edifício não tem elevador. Sem acesso por automóvel. O check-in é efetuado no Hotel Oslo. O caminho do hotel Oslo até ao apartamento é a pé, cerca de 200 m. Os funcionários ajudaram a carregar as malas, muito prestáveis; no entanto, se tem dificuldade de locomoção, este espaço poderá ser um desafio.

The property was in the heart of old town, centrally located to everything we did. Very walkable.
