La atención en recepción. Quiero destacar a Nathan, por su excelente dedicación y ayuda, principalmente al momento de reportar el extravío de mi celular en un vehículo UBER. Nos brindó además toda la explicación, se esforzó más allá de una simple recepción en un hotel. Funcionario ejemplar.

No me gustó para nada el desayuno. Son solo panes, waffles y huevos duros. No hay variedad. Ni cereales había . No hay barras de seguridad en las duchas.

An interesting hotel with an atmosphere somewhat reminiscent of a mix of a standard hotel and a youth hostel (Jugendherberge) and a younger clientele. Breakfast was very good; location was reasonably close to the O-Train (Parliament stop) and Parliament buildings and ca. 2.5 km to the Canadian Museum of Civilization in Gatineau (over Alexandra bridge).

Elevators a bit small. Hotel was a bit difficult to find owing to small signage at the front.

The hotel has a very central location. The room was spacious, comfortable and well equipped with modern amenities. Everything was clean and well prepared for my arrival. The hotel staff were great! There were also some nice facilities — I really loved the idea of the luggage lockers and the open space with a games room.

Very limited breakfast options and a small breakfast area.

A hidden gem in Ottawa. Central to everything but tucked away on a quiet street. Fantastic staff/ friendly/ professional. Was in a king suite,fabulous, full kitchen facilities. Great breakfast selection. Great coffee included.

The parking situation

Veľmi pekná veľká izba s balkónom a kuchynským kútom aj s jedálenským stolom. Veľmi príjemné na večerné posedenie a aj prípadné rýchle jedlo, čo sme si kúpili v nedalekom skvelom farmárskom obchode. Pri stanici vlaku, ktorý ide z vlakovej stanice aj dobra siet autobusov, takže veľmi príjemné na presuny kdekoľvek po Ottawe aj na pešie presuny.

Veľmi zlé raňajky - len vajíčko na tvrdo, ovocie , jogurt, džús a káva - nákupili sme si v neďalekom obchode Farm boys a nosili sme si svoje veci na raňajky.

Room size sufficient, kitchen was well equipped, bathroom had all the necessary items and the location was excellent. We liked our stay.

Breakfast was a bit chaotic due to renovations.

We didn't like anything we did not get to stay. The parking was four blocks from the hotel underground. I'd had knee replacement 6 weeks prior that had no help or me

There was no reasonable way to get from the auto to the hotel and from the hotel back to the auto and it would not return my payment and did not tell me about the parking till after I made the payment

Das Frühstück ist unter Niveau: weder an das magere angebot, noch an die Atmosphäre kann man sich gewöhnen.

Excelente hotel con cocina completa (heladera, cafetera, microhonda, lavaplatos y todos los utensillos necesarios para cocinar). Muy completo desayuno (muffin, huevos duros, panes, cereales, frutas frescas, jugos y panqueques). Una mencion especial para el cafe, EXCELENTE calidad.

Very clean rooms and building. Convenient location close to Parliament and walking distance to many attractions.

The breakfast was subpar there was no protein option other than boiled eggs,no cereal, not what’s to be expected from a basic hotel breakfast. Only one elevator was functioning and was very hard to get the elevator to go up. It was always full with other guests or staff member and their utility carts.

Très mauvaise expérience. 150 CAD facturés en plus du montant indiqué sur Booking, soi-disant comme dépôt de garantie remboursable après le départ. 5 jours plus tard, toujours aucun remboursement ! C’est inadmissible et totalement injustifié. Un manque de transparence que je trouve inacceptable.

Just a suggestion, a variety of eggs in the morning and warm oatmeal will be nice

The location is excellent, very close to Parliament Hill and many of Ottawa’s main tourist attractions. The metro station is also only about a five-minute walk away. Overall, the hotel was great, and the breakfast was good. The suites are well equipped, and the lockers for storing luggage were very convenient and felt secure. We had a very pleasant stay!

The only minor concern was that anyone seemed to be able to enter the building and use the elevators freely. In many hotels, a room key is required to access the elevators, so not having that security measure made us feel slightly less safe. However, this was not a major issue, and overall, we had a great experience at the hotel.

The hotel was decently clean and the breakfast was good.

The suite was very congested. The size of the room is misrepresented as 750+ square feet. It was not more than 250 square feet. There was no space at all. The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable. There was a massive bend in the middle of the sofabed which made my back frozen.

Malgré 3 appels téléphonique de ma part, la communiation avec l'hotel via la réservation Booking.com a été assez chaotique lors d'une demande de changement de date de réservation. L'hotel n'a pas pas appliqué les consignes de Boooking.com concernant les délais d'acceptation ou de refus de la demande, et a renvoyé la balle du côté du site pour éviter d'avoir à gérer la demande, nous laissant dans le flou pendant 48h. Résultat, la nuitée a été payée et perdue. Je suspecte que l'hotel ait intentionnellement procédé ainsi pour éviter de changer une nuitée dispendieuse pour une nuitée moins cher avec le changement de dates...

I can’t really say what I liked about the property because I was not allowed to check in. The hotel manager, Morgane, refused to let me check in, so I didn’t have the opportunity to stay at the property or experience the hotel.

What I didn’t like was the way I was treated by the hotel manager, Morgane. I came from Montreal hoping to have a nice stay in Ottawa, but unfortunately, my stay started very badly. When I arrived, I realized that I had unfortunately lost my physical ID. I still had the credit card I used to make the reservation, as well as photos of the front and back of my ID on my phone, which I showed her. Despite explaining my situation, Morgane categorically refused to let me check in and showed no understanding or willingness to help me. I was extremely stressed because I had travelled from Montreal and suddenly found myself without a place to stay. I had to leave and find another hotel where I could sleep safely. Fortunately, I went to the Sheraton at 150 Albert Street, where I explained my situation. Yannick, who helped me there, was incredibly kind, understanding and welcoming, and they were able to accommodate me. The contrast between the two experiences was honestly disappointing. I would have expected to be treated with much more kindness and understanding at The Ora Hotel.

The location is ideal, all close to downtown Ottawa.

If you plan to book a few more days, you have to wait for them to settle you back in another room, you have to store all the luggage to be able to change.

The payment situation was completely unacceptable. Our stay had already been fully paid through Booking.com and I explicitly confirmed this with the receptionist at check-in, who agreed. Nevertheless, minutes after checking in, the hotel charged my card CAD 553.86 without my consent. The receptionist admitted it was their mistake and initiated a reimbursement, which has still not reached my bank account. That same night the hotel attempted to charge another CAD 305.68, again without a clear explanation nor authorisation. It only failed because I no longer had sufficient funds on the card due to the first charge. The hotel admitted this was another mistake. We were eventually offered CAD 100 compensation, but this is being processed through Booking.com and takes several working days. Booking.com's assistance was also extremely disappointing despite contacting them three times. This caused significant financial problems during our trip. There were also several other problems: 2/7 laundry machines were out of order and the others were frequently occupied by hotel belongings; detergent and softener cost extra; the room floor was sticky; slippery bathtub; the bedroom had inconvenient power outlets and no ceiling light, making it rather dark; loud ventilation at night; an unattractive view; very basic breakfast with insufficient tables; and no daily housekeeping. For the price, this was very poor value. The repeated unauthorised payment attempts are particularly concerning, and I would not recommend this hotel. I have never given such a bad review, but here it was totally deserved.

La amplitud y la limpieza de la suite. La cama muy cómoda. Ubicación perfecta para visitar las zonas turísticas de Ottawa. El hotel no tenía parking pero se puede aparcar en el parque municipal del ayuntamiento por 2 CAD al día los fines de semana (22 entre semana).

El desayuno era muy pobre y la sala muy pequeña.

The bed was comfortable with lots of pillows. The kitchen was well equipped. A light breakfast was included with fruit, yogurt, muffins, toast, bagels, pancakes and coffee/tea. Although we didn't use the laundry room it had several washers and dryers and was very clean.

We weren't thrilled that our $150 security deposit would take 3-5 days to be released.

estuve x trabajo con dos estancias distintas, y en una de las habitaciones no tenia placard, si un perchero, pero el placard es super util, sobre todo para mantener ordenada la habitacion

The noise on the street outside meant that we didn’t want to spend time on the balcony - but the double glazing was good and couldn’t hear it from inside. Still awaiting my deposit back - well over a week later! 😳

No adapter for power, bought one that didn't work, no cable connection socket for phone, no toothpaste, slippers or razors provided (all could be purchases, shower had curtain rather than glass, street access difficult for wheelchair. Breakfast included, but no meat option.

The breakfast was pretty miserable. Mostly sugary yogourt and muffins, limited fruit, cheap bread etc. No cereal or even oatmeal packs. Some staff were not very gracious and made the experience feel as if they were being inconvenienced.

Osoblje je ljubazno, lokacija hotela je odlična na par minuta pješice od parlamenta i mnogih značajnih turističkih lokacija u gradu. Soba je bila velika i prostrana.

Naša soba ima jako malo dnevne svjetlosti i gleda orijentirana je direktno na poslovnu zgradu, pa nema baš privatnosti u sobi. Doručak je samo do 9 sati ujutro, a najveće gužve se stvaraju u 8:30 sati što bi mogao biti znak hotelu da bi puno bolje bilo da doručak traje do 10 sati, posebice jer se pola blagavaonice renovira pa nemaju svi stol za sjesti i pojesti doručak u miru.

Convinent location

Cleaning services only provided on the fourth night of your stay. There were 3 nights without cleaning. No clean towels provided, no garbage pick up during the 3 nights period. It was like a punishment to the customers. Coming back to hotel room just to see everyday dirty towels in bathroom and garbage accumulated day by day. The fourth night cleaning policy is absurd and unreasonable as a hotel. For those who stay only 1-3 nights, that means there is no cleaning services at all for all your stay.

L'emplacement est vraiment très bien. Même si c'est sans stationnement nous avons été à celui de l'hôtel de ville qui est sous-terrain et très proche de l'hôtel. Proche de plusieurs restaurants.

Everything was perfect. Clean, large rooms, we even had 2 bathrooms! Free laundry room and playroom with fussball for kids it’s a plus

Le déjeuner était correct, simple et délicieux. Par contre on devait être là tôt car à 9 heures pile il ramasse tout. Pour ce qui est de l’emplacement de l’hôtel, on a très apprécié d’être près de tout, vraiment au centre du quartier touristique merveilleux.

Il y avait une laverie à disposition, l’hôtel vend des doses individuellea dans leur petit magasin, leur gym est propre et avec assez de matériel. Le petit déjà continental était très bien, fruits, pain, muffins, café, yaourts et oeufs. Nous étions contents d’y accéder et étions surpris que cela soit compris dans le prix très raisonnable de l’hôtel au vue des services proposés et de leur qualité. The service, exceptional staff, very friendly and helpful. Clean. The laundry was very handy. The use of the lockers and sitting room after we checked out and waited to leave was very much appreciated.

The size of the room is very good, provided with a small kitchen and dining table. Breakfast was very nice, although I was surprised not to find scrambled eggs, bacon or maple syrup. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The AC, which was very much needed, was very noisy. So it was either sleeping with a lot of noise, or with uncomfortably high temperature. The bathroom had no extractor, although it did not get too humid after showers.

The bathroom was a little tight and the knob didn’t work very well which was slightly irritating after a 14 hour drive with no ac and needing a shower.

Abbiamo saputo solo al nostro arrivo che le camere ed il bagno sarebbero state pulite solo dopo tre giorni! Il bagno è piccolissimo: nel nostro la vasca era macchiata e sporca. Il terzo letto abbiamo dovuto predisporlo da soli con le lenzuola (macchiate) dare in dotazione. Gli asciugamani erano limitati e non è stato fornito alcun cortesy set, nè tantomeno pantofole. La colazione non ha nulla di salato se non un uovo sodo, il dolce consiste in un muffin e pancake sfornati da una macchina: veramente troppo minimal! Se avessi saputo che in vacanza avrei dovuto rifarmi il letto e pulire il bagno tutti i giorni non avrei certo prenotato qui!

Frukosten hade för få val. Kunde åtminstone innehållit pålägg såsom skinka eller liknande utöver sylt och marmelad till bröden. Då vi checkade ut så tidigt hade det varit tacksamt om vi kunnat få en liten frukostpåse att ta med.

It was close to everything. The only nice thing about the place.

We were extremely disappointed with our experience at the hotel. The room we were initially given had no running water in the washroom. There was also no phone or alarm clock in the room. When we tried calling the reception desk for assistance, no one answered. My husband eventually went downstairs to speak with the front desk, where he was told, “There’s about 150 rooms, and not all of them will have water.” We found this response completely unacceptable. Having no water in the washroom is a basic issue that should have been addressed before the room was given to a guest. After my husband expressed his frustration, we were offered another room. However, we then had to pack up all of our belongings and move to a different room at 11:00 p.m. after a long drive. To make matters worse, the desk clerk was standing there waiting for us to move, which added even more pressure to an already frustrating situation. I was in the middle of eating when we were asked to move, so I had to stop my meal. We were tired and hungry after travelling for hours and were expecting to simply settle into our room and rest. Overall, this was a very frustrating and disappointing experience. We understand that issues can happen, but the way the situation was handled and the response we received from the staff made the experience even worse. Guests should not have to deal with a room without basic necessities such as running water, especially after travelling a long distance and arriving late at night. .

The bathroom size was not what was advertised. As well as room service not coming around.

The rooms come fully equipped with all cooking amenities—everything from a stove and refrigerator to cookware, dishes, and even a dishwasher. ​I’d also like to extend a special thanks to Jessica at reception. She was exceptionally friendly and professional, helping us secure a much better room for our upcoming stay in two weeks!
