This is a lovely hotel. It's only a short, downhill walk to the beach and the staff, rooms and food were all great. Would definitely stay again, if I'm back in Plett.

Everything! Our room was amazing, and had access straight to the rooftop bar! we were blessed with amazing weather so this was amazing. The girls on the desk, where amazing and we loved chatting with them! All staff went above and beyond!

Peguei um quarto ótimo e por estar fora da temporada com um preço muito bom. Muito adequado para quem esta numa viagem romântica. Tem saida do quarto direto para o roof top. O banheiro é grande, com banheira e ducha. E amenities muito boas. O cafe é otimo, a la carte, com varias opcoes

Para mim, não foi ruim, mas ha quem possa achar a cama alta, tendo até o auxílio de um banco para subir nela. Poucas tomadas adaptadas. A agua é cobrada dentre as opcoes de bebida fria no cafe da manhã.

The staff were exceptional. Friendly, polite, very helpful and accommodating.

Our room was very noisy from inside the hotel. Noise channels up the stairwell from the entrance and reception area. The neighbours moving into the room next door could be heard. People in the ceiling doing maintenance. And a steady hum from the server room at the bottom of the stairwell

It was raining so unfortunately the rooftop bar was not open. We were informed upfront that the restaurant was not going to be open. We had wonderful hot water in the evening but unfortunately no hot water the next morning when wanting to wash hair. The staff did try rectify by offering me another room to go wash hair in.

We had the most wonderful stay at Ivory Haus and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, everything was beautifully considered and made us feel right at home. The views are absolutely breathtaking, waking up to such a beautiful setting was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. The location is also perfect, offering a peaceful and private escape while still being conveniently close to everything Plettenberg Bay has to offer. The interior and furniture deserve a special mention. Every detail has been thoughtfully curated, creating such a sophisticated, luxurious and comfortable space. The staff were equally wonderful, friendly, attentive and incredibly accommodating throughout our stay. Their service really added to the overall experience. Ivory Haus is one of those places that is even more beautiful in person than it is in photographs. It was the perfect combination of luxury, comfort, incredible views and exceptional hospitality. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back.

Lovely atmosphere with a warm, welcoming vibe from the moment you arrive. The staff are friendly, attentive, and make you feel right at home. We loved the fantastic location, which made it easy to explore the area. The rooms were beautifully designed, comfortable, and finished to a high standard. Every member of staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and ensure we had everything we needed. We especially appreciated all the thoughtful little touches that made our stay feel extra special.

This place was amazing. Decor cool with a warm inviting vibe and sooooo comfortable. A great experience from top to bottom .

What a gem this hotel was. I booked it because although a winter holiday, it had a pool and we like to relax outside if the weather is nice. Admittedly the pool is small and the pool area limited BUT there is a rooftop deck and that was where we spent hours. And that was just the beginning! The staff are incredible, the breakfasts - and indeed the restaurant - are excellent, and we loved every minute of our 4 days there.

Unfortunately this is not accessible to anyone who cannot do steps. And if you are staying for longer, try find a room with sufficient storage.

Everything about this hotel was excellent, will definitely be back if i am in that area again.

Beautiful decor and ambience throughout the hotel. Stunning rooftop view and friendly staff. A very relaxing stay.

The vibe and aesthetic is such an experience - everything has been considered and someone with really good taste is making sure that guests have an amazing experience on every level. I went by myself to recuperate and rest and felt so looked after! From the ‘model agency’, super happy serving staff to the sonnet on my turned open bed to the perfectly ironed linen gown to the generous portions at the restaurant and the luxurious suck-me-in mattress on the 4 post bed.. it was all so special and worth the money :) highly recommended.. don’t plan to leave the hotel to much 😋

It's a beautiful period building with stunning features, large spacious rooms all facing onto the bay or pool courtyard. Wherever you look they have installed stylish features that create subtle elegance and comfort.

Literally everything! Our room has a direct exit to the rooftop bar (The Palms), had a most comfortable bed and great shower! Beautiful place in general. The team on site is helpful, the food is delicious and cocktails are great! Location is awesome. It’s central and you can walk around. No dedicated parking but plenty of space around to leave the car. Special thanks to the team for all the help with the luggage, late check in and room upgrade! Love it and definitely going back again!

We stayed in ROOM 6, which was beautiful, comfortable and clean and had a magnificent view. The food at the restaurant was excellent.

Some steep steps and tricky door frames… I would also suggest a shelf in the shower for shampoo, etc.

The room was fantastic. Good size, attention to detail, good amenities, incredible bed… personally the furniture was chosen with pretty good taste.

I thought there would be a buffet breakfast but there was not. We had to choose a meal off the menu for breakfast. Hot water in our room came and went during the day, so we had to plan when to shower or bath. No room service menu or food delivered to your room.

My favourite place in Plett!! The rooms are exquisite! Spacious and beautiful!! The whole hotel is fabulous!!

We spent a wonderful 4 night at Ivory Haus. The room was amazing and the staff were all very helpful. We will bee back for sure. Also, the tomato tortellini at the restaurant was my wife's favourite.

We opted to have dinner at the restaurant in the hotel. The service was excellent but the quality of the food in the restaurant was disappointing (although the breakfast was good). This hotel is perhaps a better option in the summer months when the rooftop deck is open with its lovely views and one can dine outdoors.

The staff were very friendly. The french toast was amazing. My room was absolutely gorgeous.

Lack of parking. I parked on the street across the hotel. Noise from the street in the early hours woke me up.

The understand what they are doing, what a tailored experience; Once you are checking in, you wouldn’t want to leave to go anywhere. The dinner and breakfast was amazing, I’m not a breakfast person but I finished my breakfast that day. 😂

Das Ivory Haus ist eine schöne Unterkunft, das Zimmer war großzügig und sauber. Es gibt leider keine eigenen Parkplätze, das wussten wir aber im Vorfeld. Man kann gut an der Straße kostenfrei parken (auch wenn dort eine maximale Parkdauer von 60min angegeben ist - das wird nie kontrolliert, wurde uns gesagt und können wir für unseren Aufenthalt bestätigen.) Das Frühstück war gut, die Portionen sehr groß und das Essen abends im Restaurant sehr lecker. Die Ausstattung im Zimmer war schön und liebevoll, es gab auch einen kostenfreien Korb mit Süßigkeiten, was sehr nett war.

Das Zimmer ist sehr hellhörig gewesen. Da der Pool direkt vor der Tür der Zimmer im Erdgeschoss liegt sowie sich das Restaurant inklusive Außenbereich unmittelbar nebenan befindet, hört man alles sehr deutlich im Zimmer. Das Restaurant schließt zwar um 22:00 Uhr, aber vor ca. 22:30 Uhr war es fast unmöglich, im Zimmer zur Ruhe zu kommen. Man hört Musik, Gelächter etc. sehr deutlich. Nachts war es dann aber leise. Das Personal war freundlich, aber für uns teilweise etwas zu aufdringlich. Man konnte praktisch nicht durch den Eingangsbereich gehen, ohne fast schon zur Rooftop-Bar oder ins Restaurant gezogen zu werden. Das war sicher nett gemeint, aber uns etwas zu viel. Alles in allem würden wir das Hotel, speziell wegen der Geräuschkulisse, nicht noch einmal buchen.

The most amazing stay. Sadly we only had time for one night but would have loved to extend. The venue, views, food and wine selection was exceptional. The lady who was front of house (I think called Tracy or Chessie or Lacy) was so so so lovely and welcoming. Worth every penny.
