Place was clean. Bed wasn't the most comfortable but good enough for the one night I was there
Very quiet, heated pool, lovely place to walk.We remted a cabin which was simple as expected.
THE CHALET WAS CLEAN AND SPACIOUS. THEY ALLOWED US TO HAVE DOGS. WE ATE AT THE RESTAURANT AND THE FOOD IS GREAT!
Mouse poops in drawers. No batteries for tv remote. No zip line false advertising. Over chlorine in pool and close at 4h30. No fish in pond. Wood for fire 10$ for 5 small piece. Waitress very slow at the bar ans overall will never go again.
This place was great except that the water was not drinkable including signs on all doors to not drink water. NO WATER available anywhere in the morning. Could not make coffee tale meds or anything. However, the upstairs dining room and bar are spectacular. Food was great. Ambianceincredible. We felt like we were staying with family.
Nice hidden gem! We stayed in a 2 bedroom cottage and it was big and clean. Perfect for our family road trip stop. The family running the place was nice and friendly. The park and game room is great for the kids. Highly recommend this stay!
Beautiful country setting. Room was spacious and clean with a gorgeous ensuite. The bed, however, was very uncomfortable. You could feel the springs in the mattress. Restaurant on site had good pub food.
Great restaurant. Very accommodating staff. The room was very large and had lots of amenities. The beds were very comfortable.
Was not easy to get to with all the construction on hwy 85 sud. Staff was very helpful in bringing us gas as we ran out.
Stayed in the chalet. Basic but clean and comfy enough.
Friendly staff. Went out of their way to get us something to eat even when we checked in very late. Property was clean and dog friendly.
The previous guest had smoked in the room, and the cleaning staff overlooked the coffee machine. That said, the cottage itself is spacious and well-equipped.
This hotel would best be described as "ok". Unfortunately the owner is overwhelmed and was running the place alone when we were there so we ordered food (hotdogs, burgers, poutine and nuggets for $60) and it took a little over an hour to arrive and the order wasn't 100% what we ordered. The yurt was fine, what you'd expect, but we had to wait a long time to check-in because it was still being cleaned despite checking in late (we notified them so they left our room to last for cleaning). Overall if he had more help this place could be great. We booked it for the novelty of the yurt for the kids but wouldn't spend $200/night to stay again.
Eau non potable. Air climatisé marche pas. Douche pas nettoyée. Water not drinkable, AC not working, shower not cleaned.
It was a good overnight. Very clean.
Owner is overwhelmed and room was so dirty. Bathroom floor was black and even paper towels provided were dirty.
It's in the middle of nowhere. No A/C..lady told us she will bring us an electric fan.. room is very small. Nobody came to bring the electric fan. Food was terrible.
It was evident the property is short staffed, basic needs were met, however, no one was at the front counter when we checked in. The counters in both the bathroom and kitchen were left uncleaned with toothpaste and soap residue from previous occupants. There were no linens for the pull out and the linens on the beds were stained (however appeared to have been washed). There were also dust bunnies in many locations on the floor of the unit. It is unfortunate, because although dated, the place has a lot of potential, and many of the issues we had relate to staffing, and attention to detail.
We stayed just briefly while passing through Quebec, but seems like a great location to visit and spend more time, with lots options for accommodations. Our cabin was comfortable, clean and roomy for our family of 5.
Nice room , basic but great for what we needed. Good at the restaurant was good. Staff very friendly.
A unique place. food was great, host is very accommodating
Too far off the beaten track for one night stay. No amenities around. No clear direction to reception area. No English signage. Very frustrating when you don't speak French.
We rented 2 of the tree houses. I bed was good the other poor(yurt 1) coffee maker didn’t work. No signage to indicate reception so had to find someone from the restaurant to assist which he did. If you are looking for a rustic experience this is it.
Very clean and quick Check in
We have got upgraded to a yurt because our suite was being renovated. In the first hours of checking in the water ran out completely, so I couldn't take a shower. I was trying to call them, but was just taking rounds on the answering machine with no option to talk to a human. I had to walk and talk to the staff to get it fixed. Luckily, they got it sorted out, but that was pretty late: around 11pm. Otherwise a yurt is really nice and has great amenities: kitchen, ac. It was clean overall, but there were some spiderwebs and the hair dryer was first. Overall, I can recommend the place. Hopefully you will not having issues and this was just a one off accident.
Stopped for a night on way home from east coast - excellent, spacious cabins for those looking for something other than hotel/motel accommodations There is a restaurant on premise too with reasonably priced menu
We stayed one night. Fast check in . Cottage was very clean. But was so hot inside . No air conditioning.
Clean
Well-equipped place in the woods. Lots of room with a full kitchen. Perfect for a family getaway.
I had a very disappointing experience at this property. Upon arrival, I was informed that no standard rooms were available, even though I had a confirmed booking. Instead, we were directed to a cottage that lacked basic facilities, including a washroom — something that was never mentioned or shown in the original listing. When I raised the issue with staff, they were unhelpful and insisted that this was what had been booked. They offered an alternative only if we paid extra, which felt unfair and misleading, considering we had already secured a confirmed reservation. This experience was stressful and not what we expected after a long journey. I would not recommend this property, and I suggest travelers double-check the details of their booking before arrival.
Beautiful quiet remote spot.
Very cute property!!
Top notch spot that I would highly recommend to any and all travellers.
Belle place, calme, bien entretenu
A newly formed family run business, the staff is helpful and friendly. I wish them every success on their new venture!
It is a quite place and their stuff are nice.
Chalet was more than adequate, but where their location is they need to be more full service with meals
An incredible place to stay. Gorgeous setting in the woods, nice clean cabin with everything you need to enjoy the property and a restaurant down the lane. Waited out a big snow storm here in a postcard setting. Beautiful property and only minutes from the transcanada hwy.
The absolute kindest people work here. We had a two bedroom Chalet for the night and it was warm and cozy with a fireplace, full kitchen, and lots of towels. It was snowing when we arrived and they plowed the chalet's driveway when we checked in! Great experience.
Très agréable et calme! Les chiens sont acceptés, c'est magique comme endroit.
Warm and cozy cabin to unwind afyer ling day of driving. We didnt get to enjoy it as much as we woul have liked. Would love to revisit with no snow
Second time here in a month Amazing cabins and facility
Gorgeous spot off the highway Very serene
We really liked the quick reception. In no time, we were in our cabin. The cabin was great! We were able to get Internet reception right away, supper ready soon after, and we relaxed with a refreshing walk on the path close by. The grocery store in the village nearby had everything we needed for supper!
Nice place to stay lots of options to stay in different places ,yurk ,trailer hotel room ,cabin, lots activity's, pool restaurant on site close to highway
this was a hidden gem, what a beautiful place, not far from the highway worth every penny. The staff are awesome!
Perfect for small families
Great place to stop on our way through the area. The chalet was perfect for 4 adults and 1 dog. Dining options were limited as we booked during the off season but site staff were great at accommodating us.
Very quite and vibrant location
Competitively priced accommodation in a somewhat isolated area. It was basically a small, lakeside cabin. If the pricing remains similar I will likely book again. It is not too far from a freeway being developed.
The property is in a rural setting. It was very quiet and felt very safe. The space was fresh and modern. Lovely ensuite bathroom. If you have time there are places to walk and outdoor activities.
Tout est excellent! Propriétaires à l'écoute et très accueillants. Site exceptionnel pour la tranquillité en ce mois de septembre.
This property was a fantastic value. It is for families and outdoor activities. There is dining but not much outside the property. We had a cabin bedroom on a pond with our own deck. No shower but toilet, mini fridge, coffeemaker and tiny microwave. We were making our way to Maine and so these accommodations were perfect
Clean and quiet
The people at reception were very nice, their breakfast is recommended. Amazing view directly connects the loop with nature
Just needed Kleenex. Other than that, everything was amazing. Loved the walk to the top to see the start of the zip line, continental breakfast great, quiet, all good.
Super friendly staff! Nice
Room was well equipped with fridge and microwave, comfortable bed.
Overall we had an OK stay. The cabin was well laid out and worked really well for our family. We had to sweep the floors when we arrived as it was a bit dirty but that was ok. The real issue was the terrible beds, my wife and I ended up sleeping on the floor and couch because it was impossible to get comfortable with those mattresses. Other than that this was a great stop over for us and the folks at the front desk were very friendly.
The room was simple but clean except there was an open coffee package from the previous guest. It is mainly for camping and that is how the building is designed. It was ok for us because we just needed a place to sleep. The plus was that there was a shower and no tub so much easier.
There was a lot of confusion with our booking, someone else was given our room. The hotel did out it’s in another chalet, but then we received a receipt (via email) that was not ours and we spent 1 hour trying to sort out if our credit card had been mistakenly charged.
Cute cabins, friendly staff, and they made special arrangements for my late check-in. We were just passing through but would have liked to stay longer.
Love the property, great bfast, comfortable bed. Thought I reserved a room within the main building, but on arrival was informed I reserved a "tiny home" close by. It was still nice but no air conditioning .... nice ceiling fan though. The main problem was the screens had major holes ... the screen in the door , which allowed mosquitoes in.... oh, and couldn't figure out how to turn the lamp on. Beautiful little cabin though and great staff.
Everyone was very helpful and kind, nice room with bathroom and shower, mini fridge and microwave. Very happy with our stay.
Very basic accommodations—small and spartan but very clean. It has a small fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Good value for money. The walls are very thin and we were entertained by the love making antics of our upstairs neighbours all night long. This made it difficult to sleep because they made a lot of noise. The on-site restaurant offers good basic food at reasonable prices. Breakfast is only offered at 9:00 which is much too late for travellers who want to get an early start. When I explained this to our host he provided me with croissants and fresh fruit to take to my room the night before.
Nice place to stay , many activities avalable. Zip line, fishing, cycling, hiking ! Very good welcoming, very clean and quiet . Nice place to stay !
The staff was amazing. We arrived late due to storms on our drive. Not only did they keep reception open so we could get our key and directions to our cabin, but they also had the kitchen make us a pizza to takeout. The customer service made our experience the best.
This place is a gem! Newly renovated, rustic feel. The staff are very friendly. The property is beautiful. Rooms are modern and very clean. We will be back! 10/10
Beautiful, clean, quiet place. Appreciated the late check in as we had been driving for 11 hours. Disappointing the pool was not in service during our visit. Overall, very impressive place!
We stopped here to sleep for one night in our long drive home - we arrived late but found out keys to check in easily. The cabin was perfect! It's a bit dated on the inside but was spacious, clean and would be a great spot to rent for a few days. We looked around the ground quickly in the morning before departing and wish we'd had more time to stay an explore. The grounds looked nice and overall we would recommend this spot to stay.
Le chalet était bien et confosrtable. Il est toutefois regrettable qu’un des attrait du site (tyrolienne) ne soit pas en fonction et que cela ne soit pas mentionné. Nous avons néanmoins eu un bon séjour et le personnel était très accueillant.
Area was a bit tricky to find via google maps but we found it. The yurt we stayed in was good but it also felt a bit unstable. Otherwise the area is great, quiet and beautiful
The staff were amazing - super helpful and lovely. But we booked tge spot for one of their treehouse yurts. Turned out the water in ours didn’t work. So the only option was for us to stay in a camper trailer. We appreciate that they had somewhere fir us to stay but this wasnt the experience we booked or wanted.
We loved the chalet we stayed in. Private and cozy. Everything you could want in a kitchen was available. The bedrooms were a decent size, the living area was spacious. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant service was fast, and all of our meals were delicious. It was very peaceful. We hope to enjoy the wood stove in a chalet during the winter.
Loved the yurt tree house! Friendly checkin and check out. Property has lots to keep you occupied. The tree house had a full kitchen, bathroom (with one ply thin toilet paper - literally the only complaint). Would come back for sure. Bring eye mask as there is a skylight so can be an issue for some who get woken by the sun. Lots of different style accommodations to meet your needs
What a beautiful hidden gem! Incredible staff, beautiful grounds, with fun things to do on site. We WILL be back!
Our stay was perfect! Lively room, beautiful area, very friendly staff. We would definitely come back. Be a great place to stay for a few days to enjoy everything they have to offer. Thank you 😊
Perfect place to lay your head overnight. Nice place to camp long term too. Great facilities. I will be back.
Will visit again ! Good place to enjoy with kids / private campgrounds are also available! Fun place to be near river du loop
Nice place to stay for a coupme of days. Clean and quiet. Restaurant onsite.
It was nice! You need to like nature a lot
We had a great night on our way to the East coast - room was large enough for 5 adults and our dog. Nice quiet space and chalet had everything stocked in the kitchen.
Nice clean chalet and property. It was quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Beautiful surroundings in the country.
Amazing customer service. Great facility. Very friendly and genuine owners. Highly recommend
Loved the location and staff.
Une belle découverte! Bel emplacement, propre, accessible. Nous avons loué une yourte deluxe et c’était super! J’y retournerais sans hésiter.
This property was such a lovely surprise! It was so peaceful and beautiful, and had so many amenities that we didnt even realize it had! Check-in was easy and the gentleman and his dog were super friendly and helpful! We stayed in one of their chalets, which was perfect for our family of 6. The heated pool was great for an evening swim, and they had a nice, simple breakfast with croissants, bagels, juice and coffee in the morning! Highly recommend this lovely little gem of a property! Only wish we could have stayed longer!
Just as was expected, clean and functional, quiet and simple.
This was a great find. I was just passing through Quebec and chose this spot because it was close to the highway and it was a very good price. I didn't realize it is also a large camp ground. The resto bar is great with lots of choices. The gentleman that checked me in was also the bartender so I would suggest if you come to check in and are waiting a bit, just pop your head into the bar and ask if you can check in. I will definitely stay here again.
I had a wonderful experience, have no words to describe, the comfort, efforts, service is way beyond amazing. Would for sure visit again;)
Amazing staff and location
👍
Extra charges that weren’t mentioned at any point. Very disappointing because without that extra, unexpected fee of $56 it was really a good price, with it.. not so much.
It was really nice at first, we arrived at 6 in the afternoon. The zipline was non functional for a lack of personnel. So we enjoyed the pool a bit then Cooked supper, the room got really hot with the cooking and all, so we tried regulating the air conditioning, but we couldn't change the temperature, so we called reception for help it was 7oclock. No answer, tried again regulating the AC, tried all kinds of combinations nothing worked, my husband walked up to reception, it was locked, we had no service whatsoever. To be fare the beds were comfortable I slept like a rock after that til 6 that is. They have black out curtains in the room except one small window by the door, Wich kinda defeats the purpose of blackout curtains. Cuz at 6 the room was flooded with glaring Sunshine. Nice! Then no breakfast no restaurant, so we were getting ready to leave to eat, oh but wait there was a message on the wall stating that if we dident wash our dishes we'll get a penalty of 60$. So yeah heads up if you expect to sleep in in a hotel. This is glamping! Prepare yourself. Bring your food, watch Netflix on the comfortable beds. Cook, clean just like home. And wake with the sun. I paid for a suite. But got no service. Check in check out that's it. Is it worth the price I paid, I was expecting a bit better to be honest, I did find this place on a site for hotels.
Place is great everything you would want
Stayed in a cabin that was very well equipped and had more than we needed for a single overnight stop. Initially purchased a Studio room with shower listed in facilities on Expedia. we have since recheck the listing to confirm that the facilities included a shower. When arrived we were told room had not hot water and no shower. After a short discussion in broken English / French (Staff spoke fluent in French) we were moved to an upgraded room.
Located in near wilderness that was really good - stayed in a yurt that was very well equipped. Initially purchased a Studio room with shower listed in facilities on Expedia - we rechecked the booking before arrival we had a similar experience a week earlier. When arrived we were told room had not hot water and no shower. After a short discussion in broken English / French (Staff on fluent in French) we were reluctantly moved to an upgraded room. once moved all was very good.
Staff are nice and friendly. And the area around is amazing and beautiful. Highly recommended
