We loved the cleanliness of the rooms and the pool was awesome!!! It was close and convienient to the mudbog we attended! Was extremely easy for last minute booking for our spontaneous decision on coming to the area! The lady at the reception desk when we cheques in was amazing and nice! We will likely book again for the same event next year!

Wish the pool was open later. It was late by the time we got back from our event and got cleaned up. Other than that what was there not to like! It was perfect!

Excellent

Everything spectacular

Jocie (at the front desk evening shift) was super nice and kind to to us and the kids. She was patient and gave the kids 3D printed toys. Jocie also got us some forks when we forgot some.

Under the bed had wrappers and other items. The safe would not open.

The room was very nice i loved the shower

Cream or milk in the room would have made having a coffee in the room easier.

This hotel is very clean, rooms are well appointed with everything you might need on your get away. Staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was good and offered a variety of options. Convenient location off the highway- within a half hour to Sarnia, London, Grand Bend.

This hotel has clock radios in the rooms. We paid it no attention as we were on vacation, until the alarm went off at “6 am”! and then again later! The worst was when we realized the time was set wrong and it had actually gone off 4 am!!! Make sure to check the clock in your room.

The breakfast, the pool, amenities and the location were the main reasons why we booked this hotel.

We had two nights accommodation and upon returning the to room on the second night the bed was not made up and the bathroom had not been cleaned. The front desk was advised.

the breakfast was really good, lots of options. I liked the indoor pool.

nothing

Great

Nothing

The location and cleanliness

Price a little high

The hotel is new and sparkling clean. We had the king suite which was large and comfortable. The walk-in shower was great. The best surprise was the breakfast provided with the room. I was expecting muffins and coffee, but it was a full breakfast buffet. Even the coffee was excellent. It was just what we needed before heading off for the day.

We had difficulty with the sink stopper in the bathroom sink. The basin filled with water and there was no evident way to empty it. The mechanism for the stopper was hidden behind the faucet. Not the best design for hotel guests.

Very clean & modern. Beds were comfortable and rooms were spacious. Staff were extremely friendly & polite every time . The breakfast was surprisingly very good, with a lot of variety. Will return if we are ever down that way again.

Location

Very clean and friendly

Deposit for one night was outrageous

Loved our stay so clean Lovely staff Great breakfast

New and very clean

The only thing wrong/something we didn’t like that I can think of with our stay we’re just the pillows - they weren’t firm and our heads sunk right through to the mattress … otherwise the facility is wonderful.

It was very easy to find and close to the highway

It was great and comfortable place to get rest. Decent food also amazing. There's gas station and Wendy's are right next to the motel. You also would love this place

Mikey at reception was great. We liked the pool because it was so warm. We also liked the breakfast.

The rooms could be more soundproofed.

Friendly, courteous, accommodating staff. The entire complex was exceptionally clean. Breakfast had lots of choices.

I think complimentary water in the rooms would be nice.

Excellent hospitality and facilities!

Very clean common areas and rooms.

Breakfast was great

Fantastic experience

Quiet area

Convenient location and helpful and friendly staff. The property was in good condition.

Fantastic property.

Comfortable stay

Quiet and Clean.

Pleasantly surprised to have found this great hotel in Strathroy as a last minute weekend accommodation over the labor day weekend! Conveniently located near Grand Bend and surrounding areas. Great , family friendly hotel. Complimentary brealfast had a variety of options - eggs, muffins, pancakes, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, and the usual bread/bagel/jam/butter. The hotel seems like a new build - thoughtful touches throughout (e.g. usb charging plugs in multiple spaces within hotel room and general areas). Bathroom was clean. Great shower and water pressure. Staff were courteous and friendly. I'll definitely be staying here again next time I'm in the area. Worth the money.

Lovely place!

room was incredible, very comfortable and shower was amazing

the breakfast was totally unorganized, people swarmed the food no line was made it was very difficult to get food and move through

Amazing experience, the hotel and the rooms were very clean and the staff was super helpful.

Staff are friendly and ready to help. Place was clean. Full breakfast was provided.

Beautiful hotel

Professional staff, cleanliness

Everything was great. Very comfortable beds

Staff was very friendly. No issues. Pool was great temperature. I like that the bathroom had a night light.

No negatives

There was a smell outside. Locals indicated that the scent was coming from the farm. Uver stops being available from about 8pm

woman at front desk efficient and very pleasant

Friendly Staff.! Mary was helpful. Food was great! will recommend.

It’s a really good place. This was my third time staying there and I never regret it. Staff is amazing and amenities are great too.

This renovated Holiday Inn Express & Suites hotel line is amazing. We are always looking for it when travelling in Canada and abroad. Always clean, great decor, very good breakfast (we love the pancake machine , but during my trips it always gets broken/unavailable). Great pillows, big TV, and complimentary bottles of water at this location. Well appreciated!

Aside from breakfast running short a few times my stay here was exceptional based on the cleanliness, service, and amenities. I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Thanks for great service and accommodation. Recommends highly for family with kids as well.

Loved the clean and new feel. Loved the patio and lobby. We had a family reunion so it was nice for everyone to be together, outside of the rooms and play our music and have dinner. Second night we enjoyed coffee and talked until 2am in the lobby area and wasnt asked to leave. Its great because with multiple familes in different rooms, we had a common area to socialize when the kids went to bed.

The staff at this hotel were all wonderful making our stay most enjoyable.the hotel itself was one we look forward to staying in again, could find no faults with room, facilities or breakfast.

It was clean and staff were very helpful

An okay stay. Nice rooms but had to be moved because the comforter was stained and there were peanuts under the table that weren’t cleaned up from the previous guests. My child is anaphylactic so that was disappointing. New room was still not clean. Continental breakfast had nice options. There were decent food options nearby too.

Very good...

We were pleasantly surprised when we visited this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to deliver high service levels. Special mention to Mikey from Front Desk who delivered exceptionally high service levels and ensured we had a restful stay. The room was very clean and tidy; Housekeeping was efficient and ensured a consistent clean room. The pool and other facilities were a nice bonus that we were able to use. Overall I highly recommend this hotel for the helpful staff, convenient location and clean rooms.

The oatmeal was dry

The oatmeal

Everything convenient within hotel with godd signage. Good Breakfast! Stafff very helpful with questions.

Hotel was very clean and the breakfast was great!

Not local

Mary at the front desk deserves a big shout-out for her warm smile, patience, and excellent service. She manages both the front desk and breakfast area with ease – truly impressive! Also, a special mention to the lady on the PM shift at the front desk on Saturday, July 19. Even while folding towels, she was very helpful and attentive. Great teamwork from both – well done!

Someone attempted to break into my room, and they managed to open the door. the only thing stopping them from coming in was the metal piece. Asked them to look at the cameras, they said no one was in the hallway. my door was opened cause I had to close it! Did not feel safe after that.

The location was close to where we needed to go. The room was cool and comfortable. The staff was friendly, and the breakfast was tasty.

Nothing really.

The room was booked last minute. The hotel was clean and everyone was attentive and friendly. The breakfast was good. Thank you to the maintenance attendant who got me a chair while doing laundry. That was above and beyond and much appreciated.

During my recent stay at the Holiday Inn Express Strathroy, I was thoroughly impressed not only by the hotel's modern and clean design but also by the remarkable service provided by Niraj at the front desk. From the moment I arrived, Niraj greeted me with a warm smile and an enthusiastic welcome, setting the tone for a truly delightful stay. The hotel itself is very modern, with immaculate cleanliness throughout. My room was spacious, and the large size of both the room and the washroom was a pleasant surprise. It provided a sense of luxury and comfort that made my stay even more enjoyable. Additionally, the large TV in the room, complete with streaming capabilities, was a fantastic feature that allowed me to unwind and enjoy my favorite shows with ease. Niraj was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure that all my needs were met. Ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process, his professionalism and dedication were evident throughout my visit. His genuine kindness and willingness to assist with any inquiries or concerns made me feel valued as a guest. With staff members like Niraj and such excellent amenities, the Holiday Inn Express Strathroy is truly a standout destination. I highly recommend staying here and look forward to returning, knowing that there are remarkable team members like Niraj ready to make each guest's experience memorable.

Breakfast was nice. Loved that room was clean and the view was great. Beds were very comfortable but pillows were too soft. Needed a bit firmer ones. But overall very pleasant stay!

Amazing heated indoor pool, great breakfast… many options for my picky kids. Sooo convenient and friendly staff always making sure guests have everything they need!
