Entire inn is super cozy. Staff were extremely friendly and willing to point you towards any local amenities. Breakfast was included, lots of options to choose from and you just ordered the day before.
Nice place to stay, convenient Location, staff was nice and polite, nice bar at the hotel
Amazing staff. Claire welcomed us with a smile and a Prosceco. The personal service was appreciated. The room was large and the jetted tub soothing. Lovely room ammenities included robes, wine glasses, coffee and real glasses and mugs. The included breakfast was delicious, there were several choices for your meal and our selections came out hot and crispy and fruity! We can't wait to return!!!
yes. very nice Thanks
Hidden Gem of Fergus, food was amazing!
Courteous attentive staff, delightful historic stone building with wonderful ambience, very good restaurant with delicious food!
This B&B is charming. It is an old house, though, so keep that in mind. Floors squeak, and there are no closets in the two rooms that I saw. My bathroom was desperate for an update, while my companion's room appeared to have a new bathroom. Neither had much shelf space. Staff were lovely. Being offered a glass of VQA sparkling wine upon arrival is a very nice touch. (Note to the property: it is not Prosecco). Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.
The welcome drink when you arrive was a great surprise. We had a meal in the restaurant at night and it did not disappoint.
Yes to parking and AC
Bery Respectful staf, Clean Room
The decor of the property.the cardinal suite the staff the Ferguson room.
Fergus is a nice little town. Several good restaurants. The hotel had great staff. We were given a complimentary full breakfast from their menus which was very good.
Excellent services
excellent
The Inn was gorgeous and the food simply amazing!! I wouldn't change a thing and I will absolutely recommend to anyone! 12/10 !!
Lovely Inn
Staff was very friendly and food was amazing at the ferguson room.
We loved the breakfast as well. Beautiful room!
Was perfect. Clean and very cute. Went for the riverfest and shuttle picked up and dropped off right out front
All good. Accomodations, staff & food on site were very good. Will return.
It was our first time staying somewhere like this and we absolutely loved it! We will be 100% coming again. We loved the complimentary pressecco at check in, and the breakfast that was included was amazing!
Very polite
Great experience, would go back anytime.
Complimentary glass of Prosecco on arrival was a treat. Included breakfast was excellent.
This B&B is very cute and chic. I stayed in the master suite. It was a very comfortable room with an interesting history. However, the bed made a loud creaking sound even if I moved my arm around and I was unable to sleep because of it. The issue was addressed by the staff and I was shifted to the harriet suite. This room was definitely more comfortable but the hot tub did not have hot water. Overall, a good experience and I would stay here again if I am in the area.
Very unhappy with the room. The air is extremely warm. We were told there was central A/C. If that is the case, it does not work effectively. Additionally, there is no refrigerator in the room so you can’t have a cold drink to cool down. It is Impossible to sleep. I do not recommend this hotel for summer stays.
We had the best sleep here. Room was clean and spacious. Staff was so friendly. Breakfast was terrific. Everything went so well Thank you!
This beautiful boutique hotel in beautiful downtown Fergus is a rare gem. It's located on an old stone house, with all the character associated with one, high ceilings, stunning woodwork, original stone walls in bedrooms. We were greeted with a welcome Prosecco and shown to our room. It was extremely clean and well stocked with amenities. We ate in the Ferguson Pub and fish & chips and Reuben sandwich were excellent. Breakfast is included and you chose what you want at check-in and we ate outside in the lovely conservatory. Parking right beside the hotel. I would highly recommend and the staff were all so pleasant and friendly.
This place is fantastic. I traveled Solo and felt so comfortable here.
great place but internet service sucks. I won't be back until I know you have upgraded your network
Great spot, very close to Elora. Parking on site. Room was clean and spacious. Food was amazing, both for dinner and the breakfast in the morning.
Enjoyed our stay at Breadalbane. Love the history of the building. Location is great for walking and trips close by. Staff in the restaurants and housekeeping went above and beyond.
Reading about the history of the Breadalbane was very neat. Staff was wonderful to deal with and let us check in early. Breakfast was very good. Building and rooms were quaint.
Enjoyable stay in the "Cardinal" suite. Clean, with comfortable bed, nice linens, lovely period decor. Keurig coffee, nice toiletries, fluffy towels. Breakfast included was delicious, great patio, bar and small restaurant are fun as well. Staff are lovely!
Very quaint cute boutique inn. Glass of bubbly when we arrived and delicious breakfast next morning.
The owners and staff are fantastic. Ate at the pub - loved it! Everything was great including the complimentary breakfast. Room was dated but comfortable. Great location. They really make sure all guests are well taken care of.
The historic building is renovated and lovely. The Sinclair, our room is in a second building and parking outside. Wonderful location walking distance from downtown Fergus and Elmira an easy ten minute drive.
Beautiful place. Dinner and breakfast in the dining room was really good, the service was too.
Unfortunately our anniversary night out was ruined. We waited for over 2 hours for food from the pub. It was not busy! The fire alarm battery beeper went off at 3:30am and continued to beep for almost 2 hours. Despite reaching out to the staff, nothing was done about it. Then, the breakfast that was included, was unable to be served so we had to go out for breakfast at our own cost. Overall, a very poor experience for the price point.
This Inn was packed full of old world charm. They offer period inspired decor with modern amenities. The room came with a delicious breakfast served in a sunny solarium. You also had the option to eat on the patio surrounded by gardens. Their staff provide the best engaging customer service. Wonderful experience.
Beautiful quaint space great service
Room was clean, spacious and nicely furnished, breakfast was great, tub was large.
Everyone was lovely, the air conditioning was not really working but it was probably overnight but it was probably just my fault! they also give a voucher for 10% off certain streets on the high street which was lovely. also very central to the conversation areas!
Free breakfast was good. Tv in room couldnt make it through a movie without a “no connection”… happened both days and was frustrating… had 2 lightbulbs out first night and said they would fix and refresh the room but didnt make the bed?? I dunno wish they would have given more…
Very quaint. Nice room and breakfast!
Beautiful spacious room, extremely comfortable bed, great breakfast, quaint and quiet town, friendly staff
This was a super hotel with a great vibe and an old world feel. The pub had a wide selection of beers on tap and the breakfast in the morning was delicIus! Definetly would go back if ever in the area, thank you!
The property was nice and had good shower pressure, as well as a mat on the floor to prevent slipping. The bed was comfy the pillows were good. The problem was that the toilet in my room was dirty when I checked in.
Authentic piece of property.. nostalgic
An old stone mansion in a picturesque small town with a lot of old stone buildings. Room was very large and very comfortable. Staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Surprised by the quality and inventiveness of the kitchen. We only ate breakfast but it was delicious and had interesting high quality options you do not find at other hotels, even high-end locations.
the staff were so nice and helpful, restaurant was excellent the only downside was during our whole stay no tv or internet
My girlfriend and I truly enjoyed
Dislike: having to make breakfast selection the night before - especially since breakfast was fairly pedestrian. Also, TV not working. Like: room size. Bed. Jet tub. Parking.
Have known about it for 50 + years. Moved to LA, and when the name popped up on Expedia I thought it was my chance to stay in this charming piece of history in Fergus.
Lots of charm and history
Parking not to good
Staff were all friendly, polite, great service. Room was spacious, felt like home. Great restaurants onsite, with awesome food, walking distance to many areas.
Great stay here. Awesome restaurant as well 5*
Had a very nice stay, lovely OLD hotel, sqeeky floors and all. Just the air conditioner very noisy. Good food and drink
The rooms were very tired and need refresh. Dirty rugs on the wood floor so very easy to slip. The bathroom was hideous. It was located 4 steps down. Not appropriate for any older person. My husband had trouble to get down steps. No counter space in bathroom to put your toothbrush even. Just a pedestal sink that was broken. No door at bathroom just a disgusting curtain. The tv lacked any channels to watch. Very dated decor. The room was located in a building which I assume was a house at one point. It was beside the main inn. The outside looked lovely and gardens but the interior was musty and old. Didn’t feel safe with a key system Anybody could open that door with the simple lock that was there. No safe in the room. The worst was that there was no ac just a room fan. And heating was an electric fireplace unit in corner. Would not recommend this inn. We had no choice as we were attending wedding and needed lodging. For the price I would preferred a modern chain with amenities.
Beautiful and quaint. Stellar staff, who always go the extra mile. Delicious cuisine! Highly recommend.
A beautiful, historic inn, with very friendly staff, right on the main street in Fergus. Wonderful.
.
Nice, boutique hotel with friendly staff
The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was complimentary and very tasty.
Beautiful rooms, lovely service, easy parking. The breakfast was delicious! Traveled with an infant, would 💯 recommend visiting this place.
Awesome spot when staying in Fergus or exploring Elora. Friendly staff, clean rooms and a convenient location.
Second time coming. Very much enjoyed.
Lovely and intimate, just needs to have a small fridge in the room.
Nice place, quiet and excellent staff.
We had a wonderful stay at the breadalbane in! Norma was very sweet and helpful. Breakfast was incredible!
Wonderful character to whole place and room, and friendly staff!
Great friendly service
It’s a cozy nice place to stay and staffs are really nice.
Beautiful, quaint little inn that my husband and I stayed at when attending a wedding. Little quirks you get with an older property like the key entry, tight parking (we have a truck), small bathroom with no fan/vent, window air conditioner… but it was beautiful with lots of charm like the wooden staircase, exposed brick, the courtyard restaurant… and the service made it so memorable. We would definitely come back, it is a perfect little getaway for a couple who wants a quiet and relaxing stay!
.
A wonderful quiet get away with an excellent English pub with great service. Rooms are comfortable and clean with all the necessary amenities. No wifi as far as we can tell.
I
What a gem! We were very pleased with our stay and will definitely stay again. We especially loved the delicious breakfasts every morning that are included with your stay!
The Breadalbane Inn is lovely, and I would definitely recommend it. We stayed in the main inn, which was both comfortable and elegant with interesting antiques and architecture. Fergus, and nearby Elora, are charming, as well as close proximity to farmer's markets, waterfalls, etc. If possible, I would give it a rating of 4.5 stars due to a few puzzling cost-saving choices. * Pleasingly, the room had a tray with an assortment of glassware and a decanter of water. The water, however, tasted strongly of chlorine. Why provide a decanter that contains tap water?! All of the other inns we visited had spring water, or at least water treated by reverse osmosis. If not offering pleasant water, simply leave the decanter empty. * The inn prides itself on it's food. We ordered the pork schnitzel and mushroom bianco pizza. The schnitzel was HUGE, but was served with a tiny amount of Jager sauce (a thimble in comparison to the schnitzel). A wedge of lemon would have been a welcome addition. Similarly, the presence of fresh ground pepper would have greatly elevated the pizza. Small things that would make a nice meal truly remarkable.
Beautiful and clean Inn!
My daughter and I had a lovely time here. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We were in the pub and the restaurant. Food was excellent. We stayed one night and our room was great. Bed super comfy. Highly recommend. Would absolutely go back....
Nice heritage property. Great stay
Lovely old house. Staff were super. Could hear alot of street/car noise
Loved our stay
I liked that every room is different. It is very quaint and has an old world charm about it
The property is very unique. Our suite was a great size and well maintained. The breakfast options were also very delicious.
Gorgeous old building. We have the beautiful suite. The decor was well quite elegant and befitting the room
My husband and I were in town for a wedding at Elora Mill. We began the weekend with lunch at the pub at Breadalbain. Service was welcoming, warm and friendly food was the best. Delicious and we topped it off with local brews. Room was comfy and a little snug. Great stay. Great breakfast was included. We’ll run operation !
The staff were helpful and friendly and the property was cozy, interesting and had both a restaurant and a pub. We would definitely stay there again.
Nice place.
Wonderful staff, property and location all contributed to a very relaxing and enjoyable stay in the great town of Fergus
Beautiful old fashioned inn! Friendly, helpful staff.
Experience at the Inn was very good. Enjoyed dining at the pub. Experience with Expedia however was not good and very disappointing. Would avoid using Expedia again if booking.
.
The bathroom was freezing. The tiny wall heater is intermittent Heat needs attention Blinds for the window in Sinclair room will allow for privacy and light improvement Staff is excellent
The property itself was lovely. Vintage and historical with a touch of modern. We were greeted at the front desk with a flute of prosecco, nice touch. Breakfast was included which was fantastic with a touch of class. Server at breakfast was so sweet and our cleaning lady, Reece, was wonderful! Very good experience and we will be back.
Room was nice Breakfast was excellent We dined in for supper- good as well. Service pleasant and fast. Had a wonderful stay!
Beautifully maintained inn, cozy and comfortable rooms, little perks like champagne at check-in and free breakfast
Very beautiful room, only problem was that the parking was tight with the snow
