Second time here! We faced some inconveniences at first but everything was corrected immediately. I'd stay here over and over.

I stayed at Bondo Estudio during a semi solo trip & I enjoyed every minute! I had to change my dates & the hotel staff was very accommodating, & did great with communication. My room was so beautiful & clean!! There’s security onsite 24/7 & the cutest puppy for back up lol. I never felt unsafe or uncomfortable at the hotel. The hotel is directly across from the beach, and about a 10 min ride ($3-6USD) from Centro Historico. There’s a cafe in the lobby with the best croissants & chai tea frappes. The pool/rooftop is so beautiful the only thing missing was a dj to really set the mood in my opinion. The surrounding land is in the process of being redeveloped but there’s still a good amount of traffic because the highway is right there. If you are a light sleeper I don’t think this is the hotel for you because you will hear honking, music, party buses etc very frequently until late in the night. The noise is probably my only con about the hotel other than that 10/10 when I return i definitely plan on staying here again <3

We absolutely loved this hotel and it will be the only place we ever stay at in Cartagena. The views were breathtaking but above all the service and cleanliness were unforgettable. We loved every aspect; the food, the service, the rooftop, the pool, and the room itself. We could not speak more highly of this place. 10/10

Overall the hotel is great - staff super friendly, common areas very clean, rooms comfortable. Room turning / cleaning is not included in booking and should be made clear there’s an extra charge. Location has nothing near it so you need to always go to the centre to eat etc.

Such a great place, super clean with great communication and they are super helpful with any questions. Right infront of the Cartagena letters and very easily accessible to any part of the city. Would definitely recommend and stay here again !

Location and very beautiful

This property is stunning. When I arrived on the roof top bar and pool area, it was jaw dropping. It’s a pretty pink and it’s ocean view as well as they have cabanas and swings. This property also has a ding area that is open air and it had some great coffee and cheesecake

More than the relaxed atmosphere, more than the breathtaking views that will be burned into your memory forever, more than the extremely comfortable rooms is the incredible staff. I visited twice, everyone remembered me on my second visit. The Staff Could not be more friendly and inviting. It is a great value and it is safe. You will not be disappointed.

Excellent hotel. Very clean apartment. I chose one with the sea view and it was definitely worth it. I had a good size balcony and the jacuzzi was a huge plus! I'm certain I'll come back to this place.

Place was great, but the only comment I had was that the condensation from the tube on top of the bed kept dripping on the pillows. I addressed this with the person in the lobby as well. Other than that the place is great!

The studio apt was great. It was clean and close to everything we needed. Great location. People were very nice i will definitely book here again.

It was very good ocean view, the jacuzzi in the balcony was nice. Only the thing that I didn’t like was that clean the room was not included and if I wanted to clean, $60,000 cop. That’s a little more than $15 usd, so expensive to get clean. Restaurant was not great. But overall, it was great experience.

I’ll start off by saying that there were many of us spread across 4 different rooms and that overall, the staff was great with our stay and any requests we had. Unfortunately our room had an issue where the shower water would not drain and the shower head sprayed water everywhere but down. In addition to this, one of our bedrooms AC did not work and as a result, moisture was condensing on a pipe causing water to drip over our kids bed. Maintenance did come and fixed the bathroom drain and shower head issue. They wiped the condensing pipe down but it persisted along with the broken AC. They did not recognize our “Platinum “ status nor was our “VIP” amenity honored (an issue we continue to see with hotels we visit around the world - Expedia needs to do better with their vendor partners in how they communicate with eachother). Thankfully the staff made up for it by letting us check out late at 4pm for 1 room which really helped out. I will not be back but this hotel did serve its purpose for our stay.

The property is new. room is beautiful and good size. room has a kitchen but no microwave and electric Kettle to boil water. Hotel has a cafe and small restaurant on rooftop. Rooftop pool is nice and has a great view of sunset. Even beach is across the street but the beach was not that great. If you looking for blue Caribbean water and white sands, you will be disappointed. The beach look like the beach in Texas, Communication with the front desk was very poor and misleading. 1. , When I check-in, I asked, can I bring visitor to my room Answer was, yes, anytime. I asked again, any extra charge No. Next day, front desk text said asked me go down to pay for the extra guest fee 625,000 peso 2. I asked for cleaning, the same guy said, this is apartment, we only clean your room once for 3 nights stay. The 3nd day, I asked for cleaning other front desk lady said will be $12 charge for each cleaning. So, the night shift guy and day shift lady said two different things. Since I booked room for 4 people but only two of us check-in the 1st day, after complained for 15 minutes, the front desk decided not to charge me for extra guest fee and I decide not to clean the room the last day to save $12.

My family and I loved the stay great walkable beach location.. area has great restaurants plus the onsite bakery is amazing. We could see all of Cartagena from this location and I have two little kids and felt very safe and loved the Columbian culture and the hospitality at Bondo Estudios was amazing!! We thought the location was perfect....

It was a warm an inviting feeling upon arriving to the hotel.

It’s nice that this stay has a rooftop area surrounding the pool but the food options are limited. There’s no where to eat unless 10 mins away. Cafe on the first floor was a nice option for breakfast. Bed comfort was nice. Shower didn’t feel sanitary, had to shower with shoes on. Service wasn’t great, requested for towels and/or toilet paper and never came. Had to go to the front desk to receive it quickly.

Property is a new construction, excellent decoration and ambiance. Quiet and very well located. Staff is amazing. Nelson from the front desk was very knowledgeable with excursions and local information. The guys at the rooftop bar were highly helpful and accommodating as well. Looking forward to staying at Bondo again.

it is better than advertised. A brutalist design, that is clean, simple and welcoming. The only downside, is the food service takes a long time. Definitely on my list to return

The hotel itself was beautiful. The rooftop was amazing. The location was ideal. I came on a solo trip and I felt welcome and I felt safe. The concierge were so helpful. They helped me book not only a taxi, but even an excursion which was cheaper than what I was seeing Online. I plan to visit Cartagena again and I will definitely be staying there and we recommend it to others.

The building is beautiful. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The cafe in the lobby and rooftop were excellent. The service was fantastic. Everyone was helpful, attentive, and friendly. The only thing was that there was not much to do around there. The beach was okay. Not super clean and the chairs and umbrellas were weathered. I know they didn’t belong to the building but maybe they should. The beach wasn’t the prettiest.

I had a great week at bondo. Everyone was helpful and kind. The room was beyond my expectations. No issues at all. Food was good and rooftop is perfect.

We went on vacation with my family and we loved the place, the apartment was comfortable, large and very well equipped, a very nice place and what we enjoyed most was the pool area, the employees were very friendly, I really loved it!

Me gusta el estilo moderno y simple del hotel y sus habitaciones. Aire acondicionado y tv funcionabn perfecto. Su cafeteria y tortas me gustó. Extraño un poco la limpieza diaria sin cargo, pero podría ser al menos cada dos dias. Tambien un mesita de trabajo seria bienvenida.

I really enjoyed staying here on my first trip to the area. It was in a good location to catch a uber and get the busy areas. The location itself was very nice with an amazing view.

Totally awesome. Property is vert safe and they have security that looks out for you. The only issues were with the airports, not enough time to connect from Bogota to Cartegena, need at least two hours. And when flying out, showed up at 5 for a flight that left at 6:20, there was no one to check me in? Also, be aware of the massage vendors. Got a 20 minute foot massage and the gal charged me 350 mil pesos. Be sure to ask how much up front. But the rest of the stay was absolutely worth the price. Great city, great people, great experience. Bondo is great and the Texas steak house also fabulous.

This property is on the beach. Beautiful views and 2 roof top pools with bar and some fresh made food items. Th staff was awesome and eager to please and assist. The upgraded appt. Included a kitchen. Modern A/C u it's in each room we're effective and extremely quiet. 12 ft high ceiling made you feel very comfortable not cramped. I highly recommend this property.

The patio was covered in vines and couldn’t be used also the air conditioning unit was blowing hot air into the room whenever the patio was open. All week only one of the two elevators was working. The room was connected to another room through a door and we could hear and smell everything the neighbors did and cooked. We had to pay extra for turn down service and were only given towels one time for a 7 day stay with no wash clothes. The body wash bottle that was on the wall was empty on day one and had to go buy my own.

An oasis in the disquise

This is a very unique place. The rooms are beautifully decorated and with very good taste. The rooftop is absolutely stunning and the views are incredible. You can relax in either the pool or the jacuzzi and indulge yourself with some local food at the little bar they have on the rooftop. The also have a wide variety of drinks. Everything was delicious. The lobby restaurant is also absolutely delicious!!! From the coffee to the food to the desserts and the snacks; everything is made fresh and tastes great!! There was not one thing here that did not taste absolutely amazing. The customer service here is top of the line, for real. They took care of every single detail, gave suggestions/recommendations, would respond right away to any request. They were extremely helpful, friendly and courteous. Everyone was amazing. The beach is right across the street and the famous Cartagena letters are there. The hotel is located in an area that is not touristy like Bocagrande, so there’s not much to do around. You’ll have to make your way to the downtown (Walled City) or Bocagrande which are only like 5-10 minutes away depending on where you’re going, however it’s like 5 minutes away from the airport which is very convenient. I would come back to this hotel anytime.

Fast and easy check. Very secure with 24 hour security. Close to local store and shops. Beach right across the street. The rooftop pool and bar is awesome and the staff is excellent. Same goes for the shop in the lobby.

The property was amazing. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. The view was great. The staff was very friendly and professional. We really enjoyed the rooftop pools and bar. Food was delicious at the restaurant and the rooftop. The only thing we had a bad experience with was being told we owed a large sum of money as we where checking out for bringing to guests back that was not at all disclosed ahead of time and could only be paid in cash. It seemed very suspicious. We had no cash on us as we were robbed by the police in Barranquilla the day before so we had nothing to pay. We told them this was unacceptable as it was not at all discussed before and they let it slide but it seem very fishy that it was thrown at us last minute and it had to be cash. It’s a beautiful spot and we really enjoyed our stay. Just make sure to have a copy of the policy handy and confirm with the front the rules on guests. All and all though we would stay here again.

I think it should have more food option and definitely a shuttle service to the airport but besides that it was great. Very accommodating and easy to get in contact and communicate.

This place is just amazing from the service and to the point that they go above and beyond to make you feel so welcome and they very useful and helpful when you down there for any information that you need when traveling in Cartagena Colombia I have to mention a special person that I really really appreciate what he did for me his name is Nelson usually is in the front desk or take care of the visitors when they first arrive he did a very great job and I really appreciate what he did for me and my wife he went above and beyond and not too many people in the years that I been traveling different place do that. The facilities are amazing great clean kept clean the top roof pool is just great and amazing the staff in there and all the hotel was amazing I will highly recommend if you going to give me the choice to put then start I will give 11.

Room was beautiful

Booked via Expedia. Checkin was seamless. The bed and pillows were comfortable. I suggest walking with slippers as the floors are concrete. The cafe was affordable and getting taxis to the walled city was pretty convenient as its only a 5 -8 min drive. There js a supermarket, laundry and a mall fairly close by for your convenience. At night you will hear the party buses ( I was on the 9th flr) as they stop by the Cartagena sign and fireworks but it wasnt a big deal. The drive to/from the airport is only 5 mins...so book an uber or taxi through the uber app to get to the hotel! All around a good stay at Bondo!

In my previous visit to Cartagena, I stayed in Getsemani area - I always try to stay central to save the time. This time I didn’t find good options in the centre within my budget so the choice fell to Bondo and I am happy with this pick. Bondo is only 10-15 mins taxi ride from the centre, each ride cost me 11-20k COP, which is reasonable. The place is new, and the rooftop is nicer than most places in town and clearly beats to beach bars around Cartagena in terms of class and beauty. The only thing I don’t like and don’t get is the cleaning fee - it goes without saying that any short term accommodation requires cleaning after guests leave and that’s an integral part of this industry. To me charging for cleaning is like charging extra for using the toilet or shower. there is a reason I don’t use Airbnb - I prefer an upfront all inclusive rate.

The property was very clean and the workers there were very pleasant. We went here for my mom's birthday and I requested a room decoration for her and they did an exceptional job. I have no complaints.

I wanted to love my stay at Bondo Estudio, but we ran into too many issues. First, we had multiple plumbing problems — the sink, toilet, and shower all had issues and eventually overflowed onto the bathroom floor. It made using the bathroom very inconvenient, and when we asked for help, it took a while for anyone to come. Then the water shut off completely without warning for 30 min, which left us unable to get ready for dinner on time. There were also cleanliness issues. Every morning, I noticed gnats flying around the pastries, so I avoided them. The one time I did get a drink, the iced coffee was watered down and not worth $5. Worst of all, one night we saw a huge water bug inside the pastry case. The hotel is in a convenient area near the Walled City, but the beach across the street wasn’t great. It was crowded with vendors, which made it hard to relax or enjoy the view. The rooftop is cute and has potential, but housekeeping barely checked in. Bring your own washcloth, because they don’t provide them and don’t refill soap regularly. Bondo Estudio has a nice look and a great location, but the lack of maintenance, poor communication, and cleanliness issues made our stay disappointing. Hopefully, they make improvements in the future
