Excelente ubicación, muy buen sector

Muy ruidoso por la noche. Personal del hostal estuvo hablando fuerte hasta altas horas de la madrugada y desde la habitación se escuchaba todo.

Très central dans Laureles et logement propre. Petit extérieur rare à Medellin et plutôt sympa. Personnel plutôt accueillant.

Un peu petit notamment les parties communes pour prendre un petit moment pour se retrouver.

The location was awesome as it is literally in the heart of Laureles. You have a lot of cafés, restaurants, gym very close by. The staff was very friendly and attentive as well. Overall good hostel.

The wifi wasn't steady and generally the best. since I am working remotely, that was bit annoying for me.

Mens bathrooms were very small and without toilet seats, but I was told to use the ladies

I would not recommend! I had $300 stolen from my backpack which was stored in my locker. I talked to other guests who had similar experiences. Not a secure or comfortable place to stay

Comfy and private beds, good kitchen, and several spots to chill or hang out.

The bathrooms are a mixed bag in terms of cleanliness, frequency of restocking, and water pressure, but not awful!

This accommodation was perfectly located and the staff has been absolutely amazing and super helpful!

Needs lots of maintenance in its facilities. Matress was old and cover with plastic, not comfortable at all. Street traffic noise is loud.

The staff at this hostel were incredibly friendly. I mean, hostel staff are usually friendly (in most cases, anyway), but these people were all just fantastic. They were also proactive in asking for things you might need or want before you even thought about needing them. And they were fun to just casually chat with while waiting for your food to cook.

Nothing really. I guess if you have to do video calls for work like I did, you have to consider the street traffic is super loud (e.g. men selling fruit, tons of loud motorbike engines, cars honking horns, party buses that start around 6pm, etc.). Those are not the fault of the hostel, but something to keep in mind if you need silence when you work, read, etc.

Was recommended this hostel by other travelers and it is THE spot in Medellin. It attracts more chilled travelers (instead of those that come just to party/ poblado) and very homey, great deal for the price! Free coffee !!

Staff lovey, especially the younger guy, gorgeous smile, polite, and very hard working keeping the place clean and tidy. Location great, lots of cafes, restaurants and pubs nearby. Bed space good but mattress not so, due to protective covering. Locker space good but space in dorm between bed and wall is very tiny. Kitchen gw enough equipped. Nice to be able to drink the tap water. Lounge and dining area good. Showers ok but freezing cold only😬

The room is very very very small and the bed looks like a shoe box, very hard to go up in the bunk bed and hard to organized your stuff. The bed is horrible pillow and mattress are covered with a plastic and every bed has a personal fan, that makes huge noise at night.

Overall I had a good time staying in Baku Hostel. The staff was super friendly and helpfully, they made me feel welcomed and comfortable. The kitchen was always clean and tidy, and they cleaned the common rooms everyday. The location is terrific, the hostel is close to everything and there are so many wonderful restaurants literally next to it.

I really didn't like the rooms, it felt like we were sleeping in shoe boxes. There were no windows and everything felt so dark and without oxygen. There was space to keep our things in cupboards underneath the bed, but there wasn't a self to keep things close to the bed. A recommendation I would leave would be for the hostel to have some composting service. Medellin has composting stations everywhere, so I was surprised to see they didn't have a bin for collecting food scraps and organics. The other thing I would recommend, is for the toilets to have a toilet brush so that people can clean up after themselves and not have to wait for the cleaning service to clean up for them.

Atención estupenda y amables

Great vibe at this hostel! A great hostal to meet other travellers. there was always someone to talk to, to hangout with, to go partying with. I never felt bored or alone. The staff were amazing! Very accommodating, friendly and nice. It felt like being part of a family/community. And the kitchen, very spacious and quite modern. With nice outdoor areas.

The walls are very thin so you could hear all noise within the downstairs area. The gentleman toilet/shower is a very small space.

Great staff, super friendly and helpful! We even went with them to a soccer game. The hostel is well located in Laureles, a safe and green neighbourhood, not as touristy as Poblado. You will find many nice bars, restaurants and cafes close by. The kitchen is bright, very well equipped and very clean. There are several communal areas on both floors to hang out. Every bed in the dorm has its own fan. All in all, a very clean hostel and nice staff! If you don't care about small dorms, you will like it here.

There is traffic at the street, so it's not super quite during the day if you want to chill. Although the hostel is quite new, it didn't look that new, e.g. I felt the bathroom could have been better maintained. The room I was staying in was very small and didn't have a window, so fresh air only came in when we left open the bathroom door and the door to the corridor. It might be due to the off season, but there weren't many guests, so it was a little hard to get to know many people. On the other side, the atmosphere was very familiar.

The 6 bed dorm was great. Our room was two bunks, 3 levels high, so try to get the bottom bunk if you don't want to climb 2 ladders! Beds are comfortable. The staff are amazing and helpful. Overall, a really good place to stay in a nice area of Laureles.

The pillows and beds are plastic. While this keeps it hygienic, it's loud and crinkly.

This hostel is very well located and still very calm during the night. The people were very helpful and friendly. The kitchen is super big and well equipped. Its very clean.

The rooms are tight and there is not a lot of (fresh) air, even if there is a fan on every bed.

Nice outdoor area to hang out. Free coffee and tea. Tap water was drinkable (and they mentioned this on arrival). Mostly quiet. Nice restaurants and a supermarket nearby. Well equipped guest kitchen.

constant construction, upper floor smelled of sewage. cleaning staff was really disrespectful (literally clean the bed while you‘re on it, changing). bedframe is loose pieces of wood that move, easy to drop everything under it. matrace is covered in plastic under a sheet so get ready to sweat a lot.

There is only one private room. Its big and has a nice clean bathroom. There is a nice area outside to sit and the staff are very helpful.

My mattress had a plastic protector and no topper making it uncomfortable to sleep on. Also there was only a very noisy fan unit making it difficult to sleep. I had to leave the bathroom window and door open to try to get cool.

Staff are welcoming, warm and helpful in every way. Wi-Fi works so well. It’s bright inside and love the outside spaces, can relax. Nice clean kitchen. Clean places.

My big dorm needs to be clean a bit properly.

Great location near La 70 and restaurants, about 15 minutes from the metro. Outdoor community space.

Only two bathrooms for showering and toilet and one was broken! Rooms are cramped. Two guests took the entire floor up with their bags (even though there are lockers). The tiles on the floor were missing. My bed didn’t have a privacy curtain. Your stuff can fall off and behind the bed so you have to crawl over someone else’s bed to get it. Not a very well thought out bedroom and bathroom design.

I kept extending my stay cause I really liked it here. Staff is amazing, so attentive and really kind. It's worth staying there just for that. Great location, walking distance to all the bars/restaurants/metro station on the main street. It's peaceful at night. There's a kitchen with all the equipment, they clean throughout the day and offer laundry service. It's not a busy hostel (which I prefer) but still was social enough.
