Reviewed Jul 23, 2026La atención fué excelente, viajé con mis padres. Nos sentimos acogidos y cómodos en este mágico lugar. La señora María Luisa y Silvia fueron muy atentas. La vista es espectacular, es un lugar tranquilo que permite la conexión con la naturaleza, disfrutar de los espectaculares amaneceres y atardeceres sin tener que salir del hotel. La habitación, muy cómoda, limpia y completa. El comedor y las zonas comunes tienen vistas espectaculares. Los mensajes que hay en las paredes y en diferentes lugares del hotel, ¡hermosos!. Le dan un toque especial.
En ocasiones se escuchaba el ruido de los camiones que pasaban por la carretera abajo, pero en general en las habitaciones se logra dormir bien, no se escuchan tanto.

It's pure joy to discover every corner of the place and Jorge was more than a great host, he treated us like family :) I will return to this hotel without a hesitation and I highly recommend if you go to chicamocha

Reviewed Apr 9, 2026Nos encantó el trato y familiaridad de Don Jorge, la señora María Luisa y Don Nicolás. El desayuno fue espectacular el tamal y el caldo como opciones y sus complementos, nos encantaron. El poder compartir con la naturaleza los animalitos: Gatitos , perritos principalmente Oreo!, patitos, cabras y los paisajes que se siente uno en el paraíso !

Reviewed Mar 28, 2026La vue sur le canyon est spectaculaire, et un espace dédié a été aménagé pour la prise de photographies. Les espaces communs sont particulièrement chaleureux et originaux.. La famille d'accueil s'est montrée très chaleureuse, malgré la barrière linguistique (espagnol uniquement). Dès notre arrivée, ils ont généreusement mis à disposition de nombreux jouets pour nos filles, un geste que nous avons beaucoup apprécié. L'emplacement est idéalement situé, à proximité immédiate du parc national.
Les lits étaient très dures, mais pour un séjour d'une nuit, cela reste acceptable. Le bruit de la route peut être quelque peu gênant la nuit ; il est conseillé de prévoir des bouchons d'oreille ou d'utiliser le ventilateur.

Reviewed Aug 14, 2025L'emplacement, la vue extraordinaire sur le canyon. De plus c'est à 5 minutes du départ des parapentes, très pro. Et puis, la gentillesse de l'accueil de Jorge et sa collègue, tellement aimables ! Enfin, nous avons très bien dîné. Simple mais excellent !
Le bruit de la route, mais ils n'y peuvent rien, et ça n'a dérangé que moi sur 5 personnes ;-)

Reviewed Jan 30, 2025I loved it! Even though I was only there for one night, I'd recommend anyone staying there. Yes, the accommodation is basic, yes it's far away from everything, but the bus can drop you off at the closest intersection. From there it's a 5 minutes walk. I enjoyed everything. The host is so friendly, the view is amazing, bed's cozy, everything.

Reviewed Jul 16, 2024This was the perfect stopover place for us before we did our parapenting over the Chicamocha Canyon. Jorge was absolutely lovely and extremely attentive. The bed was comfortable and the room very clean. Great breakfast and dinner. Stunning view from the balcony too.
Unfortunately this place is located just above a very busy trucking route and so was much noisier than I expected. But earplugs solved the problem at night.

Reviewed Jul 5, 2024Excellent service, the staff are so kind and thoughtful. The place is well located if you want to have a look at the chicamocha's canyon. The breakfast 10/10. A natural space if that is what you are looking for, and close to the Panachi's park. Also, they give you the contact to do paragliding which is near by. Totally recommended and planing to come back anytime soon.

Experience a familial Christmas vibe with entertaining games, home-cooked food, bonfires with marshmallows, and friendly conversations over glasses of red wine. Sergio is fluent in English for non-Spanish speakers.
Absolutely worth supporting – an independent business that offers excellent value for money. If you’re going to be in the area, I highly recommend booking this accommodation to contribute to its success. 10 out of 10 stay.
