I didn’t mind that you used the pool in main hotel, or the breakfast but the rooftop restaurant offering was so limited, menu didn’t change much aside from one or 2 theme night , little to no vegetarian offerings and times of open changed multiple times due to staffing issues

Very clean property, convenient, nice breakfast. Very close to the beach (2 mins walking) and to the shops/restos.

The bathroom layout was very inconvenient. There was no proper separate bathroom area, with the washbasins located directly next to the bed. Every time we washed our hands or used the sink, water would splash around the room. The toilet also had glass doors, which offered very little privacy. If one person needed to use the bathroom during the night, the light, noise, and washing of hands would inevitably wake the other person up. Overall, the design was impractical and repeatedly disrupted our sleep.

Bell edificio, moderno , camera ben arredata con vista sul porto e la spiaggia, con bagno in camera e un bel balcone. Personale accogliente cortese e professionale. Colazione nella struttura vicina a buffet eccellente con pagamento a parte per centrifughe e espresso ( forse questo visto il costo si poteva evitare). Ottima esperienza

Breakfast was amazing! Really helpful and positive staff :) Cozy and comfy bed and rooms. Welcoming drinks and fruits. It was really good.! Location easy to access.

The room and the hotell were great. Breakfast very good.

The pool did not have enough sunbeds. People were waiting in line before the opened. The beach was close but not very nice.

Die Zimmer waren wunderschön, modern und geräumig und das Essen war ebenfalls perfekt, sehr lecker und große Auswahl. Hier habe ich überhaupt nichts auszusetzen. Auch das Personl war äußerst freundlich und hilfreich bei Fragen. Es gab auch Themenabende, die toll umgesetzt wurden.

Die Anlage ist zwar schön, die Daybetten toll, aber es ist alles sehr klein, am Pool lag man eng an eng wie die Sardinen. Der Strand, den man über die Straße erreicht hat, war nicht sehr ansprechend. Zwar waren die Strandmöbel sehr schön, allerdings sah die Umgebung neben dem kleinen Strandabschnitt nach Baustelle aus, alte Boote standen herum. Wir haben uns dort nicht sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Gegend an sich ist leider auch nicht gerade schön, aber es gibt nicht weit entfernt (10 Minuten mit dem Auto) einen netten Beachclub und die Promenade, die man fußläufig erreicht, war auch ganz schön.

Erato is a new hotel which is part of Samian Mare, therefore rooms and furnitures are new. They upgraded us to a new room with jacuzzi and view for our last night which was a really nice gesture.

There are some improvement points: - There was a unpleasant smell in our room with an acceptable level (therefore we didn't ask a room change) but this should definitely be checked. Reason was unclear for us but most probably from toilet ventilation. - The breakfast varieties were limited and quality was not suitable for hotel's general quality. Greece has very nice fresh products, cheeses, olives, etc. However, we didn't see that variety in the breakfast. They were not on good quality and not very tasty. - 2 hotels (Erato and Samien Mare) are using the same pool area, therefore it was always crowded and people were waiting on the queue around 10am (pool opening time) to be able to grab a seabed. One point to consider for travellers; - Karlovasi is located on the western part of the island which makes the transportation difficult and long for the eastern part (Vathi, pythogorian, airport, psili ammos, etc.). If you are planning to visit different parts of the island, you may consider to choose another hotel from middle part or eastern part of the island.

Aspetti molto positivi: gentilezza dello staff, posizione comoda, balcone vista mare, spiaggia attrezzata a disposizione gratuitamente, pulizia, ambiente piacevole e tranquillo, frutta e vino di Samo offerti all'arrivo in stanza. Colazione e piscina erano forniti in un albergo "gemello" distante dieci passi dall'hotel.

Aspetti non graditi/implementabili: Il bagno "destrutturato" con i lavandini direttamente nella camera (scomodo: preferisco la privacy di un bagno tradizionale); la colazione con minima offerta per dieta senza glutine e dieta vegana (ci hanno procurato su richiesta il pane senza glutine; non c'era scelta di bevande vegetali, anche per questo bisognava chiedere). Suggeriamo di migliorare l'inclusivita del servizio colazione per rendere l'esperienza perfetta e soddisfacente per tutti.

Excellent hotel, with friendly staff. Breakfast and swimming pool were a short walk away, in another hotel building.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel is at a fantastic location. Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are wonderful and breakfast was great.

It was a clean modern hotel, shower and bed were excellent, they gave us complimentary wine and fruit at check in. The pool was amazing and the beach was across the road. The staff were exceptional!

Ολοκαίνουριο ξενοδοχείο μπροστά στο λιμάνι του Καρλοβασίου. Το δωμάτιο ήταν εξαιρετικό, ξεπέρασε κατά πολύ τις προσδοκίες μου, πεντακάθαρο, πολύ άνετο και με θέα στη θάλασσα. Υπάρχει πάρκινγκ απέναντι. Η εξυπηρέτηση στη ρεσεψιόν άψογη.

Το πρωινό ήταν κάπως φτωχικό για ένα τόσο πολυτελές ξενοδοχείο. Η θέα όμως υπέροχη.

The staff was friendly, especially the lady who made our room. She always had a smile on her face, made us feel good and always asked us about our stay. She was the highlight of the hotel!

Super uncomfortable matress Room smelled smoking, rest of hotel as well (staff smoking in a room next to the reception and seems that all the smell goes upstairs). They changed us the room but the next day the new room was also smelling and we really didnt want to waste time on this anymore On our last night, the pub (4th floor) right above us (3rd floor) was playing very loud music which was resonating in the whole 3rd floor. We called the reception and he offered us to change room, something that we didnt want to do AGAIN and on 11 in the night when we were already sleeping Breakfast: Oranges were with green fungi, ham was super old with hard surroundings. They provide honey from Thessaloniki in little plastic containers. Wouldnt be a better idea to run sustainable and support the locals where you can see local honey stores all around the island????? The lady at the breakfast was not the most friendly neither the most motivated worker! In summary this was by far not a relaxing experience and we will for sure not come back to this hotel!

Εξαιρετικό ξενοδοχείο, πολύ προσεγμένο και καθαρό. Η αίθουσα του πρωινού είναι εξαιρετικά διαμορφωμένη, με υπέροχη θέα. Αξιέπαινη προσπάθεια που αξίζει ένα μεγαλο μπράβο.

Πολύ ωραίο δωμάτιο, άνετο και καθαρό. Το προσωπικό πολύ φιλικό και μας έδωσε πολύ σωστές συμβουλές για τα μέρη του νησιού. Η τοποθεσία επίσης πολύ καλή, είναι στο πιο ζωντανό μέρος του νησιού, και πολύ κοντά σε ωραίες παραλίες και δραστηριότητες

I think it’s the best hotel in Karlovassi — the staff are friendly, the rooms are clean and the breakfast and pool were both great.

Karlovassi is located at the very end of the island, so you’ll need to spend some time traveling to other parts of the island. This isn’t about the hotel itself, just its location.

Personel güleryüzlü ve yardımcı olmakta istekli. Otel odasında çift lavabo bulunması ve açık lavabo konsepti ve manzarası mükemmeldi. Otelin bulunduğu Karliovasi bölgesi bence Samos'un en güzel yeri. Plajı yakın fakat otelle bitişik değildi.

Kahvaltı daha çeşitli olabilirdi. Özellikle peynir çeşidi azdı. Fotograflarda otel deniz kenarı gibi gözükmesine rağmen plajla arasında 2 tane anayol geçiyordu. Yunanistana gelmemize rağmen otelin Yunan etkinliğinin olmaması onun yerine Latin gecesi olması bizi üzdü.

All was good

Very nice hotel, new, clean and comfortable. We got a room with a little private patio. The staff is lovely, very friendly and always helpful. Breakfast was good but has some room for improvement. Not always the best and most fresh products. No orange juice, not great coffee (can be purchased). A funny thing: At 10 am sharp, when the pool opens, people stand in line to get a sunbed. Then reserve them the whole day with a towel.

The staff was wonderful, always ready to help you and make sure you enjoy every single moment of your vacation. We felt pampered, and this helped make this week's vacation unforgettable! I want also to highlight the very good wifi connection and the satellite TV with a lot of channels in several different languages (in Italian we had more than 10 different channels!)

To be honest, everything was perfect!

Everything was perfect. We arrived by ferry from Piraeus and the hotel is a five-minute walk from the port. The room with ocean views were very clean and the beds were comfortable. Hotel staffs are all lovely. We had breakfast at Samian Mare, a minute's walk from Erato. The breakfast variety is excellent.

Nicely renovated hotel in a good location, with a good breakfast.

Forced to book a minimum 5 night stay. Upon check in we were told we could use all facilities/services from the sister hotel next door and we could off charge all expenses to the room, but we quickly found out this was not the case… we had to pay as we used services eg dinner, bar etc No iron or ironing board provided, when asked for iron we were told the hotel does not provide an iron as they don’t ‘trust’ their guests in case they burn the hotel down. You are then asked to use their laundry service which is an extra charge.

Overall very comfortable, stylish and clean room. Breakfast buffet and pool at next door hotel also really nice. What we loved most was the smooth service when transferring from next door hotel Samian Mare to the Erato. We booked very last minute so couldn't stay all three nights in one of both but the transfer / room switch was super smooth! Erato made sure our room was ready before checkout time of the other room and even called us to inform us once it was ready. Great service!

Bathroom en suite with toilet only separated from the rest of the room by frosted glass. We knew this upfront of course but it still feels a bit too 'public'. Good to take into account when you book :-).

The restaurant section was spacious and clean, the breakfast variety was sufficient. Celebrating our babies' birthdays is very thoughtful. When we entered the room there was cake and balloons. We were very happy. This kind thought of the hotel staff surprised and made us happy. Thank you Erefilio <3 (reception)

The rooms are a little narrow and not very spacious, but the beds and the bathroom are very spacious.

It was a new clean cut hotel. The cleaning service was very good. The room was spacious very quiet with a big tv with lots of foreign programs.

Having to go next door for breakfast. Not being able to charge my room from next door. The breakfast was good for the first 3 days then things were missing. No more “ koulouri “ bread, no smoothies, no little cupcakes, and then pancakes Without maple syrup ( they ran out ) the honey , well I don’t want to comment what it was….. this is a 4 star hotel!!!!!???? I won’t say anything else except that they need to check the quality of the food they offer.

Temiz ve modern, yeni bir otel. Güler yüzlü hizmet veriliyor. Odaya ikramlar bırakılmıştı. Güneşin batışını balkondan izlemek mümkün, denizden batıyor. Otelin önünden denize girmek mümkün ancak o kadar güzel koylar varken otelin önünü tercih etmedik. Sonuçta dalgakıranlarla korunaklı hale getirilmiş yapay bir liman plajı. Karlovasi bölgesi pek turistik değil ama hareketli bölgelere de en az 1 saat uzaklıkta. Dolayısıyla akşam saatlerinde virajlı yollardan karanlıkta geçmek zor oldu. İyi ve güvenli bir araba kiralamakta fayda var. Otelin terasında keyifli bir bar var, özel günler de düzenleniyor (sushi günü gibi).

This is a great hotel. First of all, the staff is fantastic; professional, helpful and very friendly. The room was new and nice, with a lovely little garden. Clean. If you have to complain about something, it’s a pity people “reserve” the sunbeds with towels the whole day and then disappear for hours. Can be hard to get hold of a free one.

The welcoming at the room was over any expectations. We traveled for our wedding trip and the staff truly went out of their way to make the room extra nice!! The receptionist Erifili was also a highlight to meet every day, super helpful and nice! The food and service at the roofbar was outstanding!

We didn't get a chance to try the pool due to the fact that it was a shared pool with the sister hotel. Not a big deal for us though as we spent a lot of time exploring the island!
