이 숙소는 정말 아름다운 산토리니의 뷰를 그대로 간직하고 있는 아주 훌륭한 곳이었어요. 계단이 좀 있는 곳이라 걱정했는데 친절한 캐리어 픽업 서비스로 하나도 불편함을 느끼지 못했습니다. 저희의 무거운 캐리어 2개를 한 번에 다 옮겨주신 미리 님와 숙소를 매일 호텔급으로 깔끔하게 청소해주신 타마라씨도 정말 고마웠습니다. 그리고 무엇보다 호스트 미나스님의 친절하고 상세한 산토리니 맛집 소개가 정말 좋았어요. 특히 IRIANA라는 카페를 자주 갔는데 음식도 무척 맛있고 바다 뷰도 정말 좋았습니다 . 브런치도 카페라떼도 훌륭했어요~ 산토리니 숙소로 강추합니다!

계단이 많아서 숙소를 들릴 때 쉽지 않았지만 운동이라고 생각하면 나쁘지 않았습니다! 산토리니의 멋진 풍경이 보이는 숙소를 예약하려면 어쩔 수 없이 감내해야하는 부분이라고 생각합니다.

Absolute everything!! The views were unbelievable, our accomodation was so homey and comfortable, it was really refreshing staying somewhere that had some personality, and not to forget the wonderful host! Our stay here was so easy and relaxing, the host made sure that any transport we needed was organised with someone to help with our baggage. As we were only there a short period he took the time to plan some activities, restaurants, shops etc. to see and explore while we were there. I can’t really express how incredible our stay was at the Amphitheater Cave Houses, but if I’m lucky enough to be in Santorini again I know where I’ll be staying!!

Amphitheater è davvero il nome giusto per questo posto. L’affaccio della struttura sulla caldera è semplicemente unico al mondo. La bellezza di sedersi su una sdraio o accanto al tavolino, magari con qualcosa da bere, e godersi uno dei tramonti più belli al mondo è qualcosa che non ha prezzo. Il proprietario, Minas, è una di quelle persone che si mette immediatamente a disposizione: con grande gentilezza offre consigli e suggerimenti per vivere al meglio l’esperienza sull’isola e non ti fa mai sentire solo, anche quando hai bisogno semplicemente di un consiglio. Anche il suo staff merita una menzione speciale. Miri, che ci ha accompagnato dal transfer all’hotel e viceversa, e la signora Tamara, che si è occupata della pulizia della nostra stanza, uniscono cordialità e professionalità, contribuendo a rendere l’esperienza ancora più piacevole e, soprattutto, più umana. È uno di quei posti che sceglieresti di nuovo ad occhi chiusi. Un luogo che non offre soltanto una vista spettacolare, ma anche quella sensazione di sentirsi accolti e di prendersi davvero il tempo per godersi ogni momento.

The spectacular Caldera views! An excellent host 'Minas', very informative and goes above & beyond to accommodate your needs, organised transfers, has the best staff, Ms Tamara our cleaner and the strongest guy Miri to take our bags up & down the stairs from arriving in Fira. I highly recommend this accommodation as Minas is a great guy who has all the info and recommendations you need to experience the best that Santorini has to offer.

Stairs, but it was worth it in the end for amazing Caldera views waking upto each morning and spectacular sunset views and pics from here were the best you could ever have.

The true Santorini experience! We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cave house in the heart of Fira, Santorini. Everything was extremely well organised by our host, Minis, from arranging the ferry transfers to recommending tours, restaurants and things to do around the island. Miri was also incredibly helpful and kindly carried our bags for us on arrival and departure. The host was always just a WhatsApp message away and was happy to help arrange tours and provide special discounts, which made our stay so easy and enjoyable. Mrs Tamara was fantastic with the housekeeping. The house was cleaned every day, with fresh towels provided daily, which was a lovely touch. The location could not have been better, right in the heart of Fira with supermarkets and a self-service laundry nearby — especially convenient for anyone travelling for a longer period. The accommodation was reasonably priced, well maintained and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We genuinely couldn’t fault our experience and would happily book again. We would definitely recommend this cave house to family and friends!

Everything was absolutely amazing! Our host Minas was super helpful and accommodating, couldn’t ask for more. It’s a perfect holiday spot, where views are breathtaking people are naturally friendly and food is incredibly tasty. Highly recommended!!!

Everything! The owner Minas is very kind and helpful. He will arrange airport/ferry transfers if you wish for very reasonable prices which we found to be so worth it and stress free! As well as this, Miri is also waiting to help carry the bags when dropped at Fira which is very much appreciated, and also helped carry them at the end when checking out. There is a discount code he provides for a very nice cafe (breakfast at it is pictured below)! Overall the best thing about the property is the view from the balcony at sunset, which is incredible! As many of the top restaurants in Fira are so close to the accommodation with the same view, except the balcony is free!

The appartment is in a very good location, we could enjoy the landscape (and sunset) view really privately, without sharing the experience with the crowd. The facility itself had a really traditional furnishing, no fancy hightech gadgets - yet the wifi was super fast and reliable even outside on the terrace - and we spent most of our times on the terrace when were there and awake - first thing in the morning and last thing before sleeping was to enjoy the view ;) The bathroom itself was superclean as well, yet it would need some renovation in an old-style way to keep the time-travel feeling. Beside that I cannot describe the hospitality of the owner, Minas, we got really good travel tips for reasonable prices, the recommended places were really good and we got discounts or extra drinks as well using the "magic password" from him. The communication is excellent, most of the time with prompt answers. I have to mention Tamara and Miri as well, Tamara keeps the accommodation super clean, doing an excellent job and she has a really kind personality. Miri is the man who helps you with your heavy luggage on the stairs, I cannot express how thankful we were for that. I can just recommend this place if you want a real Santorini experience. At least how I imagine it ;) Thank you for everything.

The property is in the most amazing location, you could not ask for a better view. We were met on arrival by Miri who took our heavy bags and guided us to the property, through the town. On departure he made sure we arrived at the pick up location on time and again carrying heavy bags through the town. On arrival we were met by MInas who is the most welcoming host and guided us through the best restaurants to try and activities, we booked the catamaran cruise which was lovely. Our room was perfect and beautifully clean ideal for a family, separate room areas, with twin beds and a double bed and separate kitchenette with access to a very large balcony over looking the sea providing the most amazing views of the perfect sunset.

If steps are going to be a struggle this property is not for you. This room would have been ideal for a hot tub but appreciate they may not want this as advertised as a family room.

Amazing location and incredibly friendly host (Minas) - he was very quick to respond to our numerous requests via whats app and sorted everything, even helping our friends (in a different hotel) book the sunset cruise so that we could enjoy it together (highly recommend this cruise). Mrs Tamara did an excellent job looking after us too. Our room was spotless and tidied every day (no mean feat with three teenagers in tow!). And we wouldn’t have coped getting to and from the accommodation at the start and end of our stay without Miri. I can highly recommend a stay here - the best place to catch the amazing sunsets and only a very short walk into Fira for food and browsing the shops. The beach is also an easy bus or taxi ride away (20 mins).

Everything about my stay was wonderful The location, the service, the communication, and of course, the incredible views of the caldera! As a solo traveler, feeling safe and comfortable is really important to me, and I honestly couldn’t have felt more welcomed and looked after during my stay. A special thank you to Miri for helping me with my luggage, Mrs. Tamara for making my stay so comfortable, and the owner for going above and beyond to help me arrange airport transfers, recommend restaurants, and book activities during my stay. It made exploring Santorini on my own so much easier and more enjoyable. The hospitality really made this place feel special, and waking up to that beautiful caldera view was something I’ll never forget. If I return to Santorini, I would absolutely stay here again. ❤️

Merhaba , Evin konumu çok merkezi ve her yere kolay ulaşım sağlıyorsunuz. Ev, restoran, cafe, çarşıya çok yakın. Otel sahibi Minas bey oldukça kibar ve misafirperverdi. Kısaca bu bölgeye gitmek isteyenler için kesinlikle tavsiye edeceğim bir ev. Hello, the house is in a very central location and offers easy access to everywhere. It's very close to restaurants, cafes, and the market. The hotel owner, Mr. Minas, was very kind and hospitable. Before handing over the house key, he provided information about the hotel's location, cafes, and restaurants. He arranged small surprises for some of the cafes and restaurants he had agreements with. He helped us with our reservations. The house is an original cave house so it provides a very cool and comfortable environment without even needing to run the air conditioning. Miri, who came to help us with our luggage after parking, and Tamara, who helped us with the house cleaning, were very friendly and helpful. In short, I would definitely recommend this house to anyone wanting to visit this area.

Mas a recepção do nosso anfitrião Minas é o principal diferencial! Ele nos recebeu com muita gentileza, amabilidade e hospitalidade, nos deu dicas valiosas e não mediu esforços para que desfrutássemos dos melhores passeios e restaurantes, sem falar no transfer! Com isso, tivemos momentos maravilhosos em nossa curta, porém inesquecível, estadia em Santorini! E não podemos deixar de mencionar o Miri e a Tamara, pessoas adoráveis, que nos ajudaram em tudo, sempre com um sorriso no rosto!

Wonderful apartments with a beautiful view of the volcano. Great location, close to cafes and restaurants. Minas is a very attentive owner, if necessary he will help you choose a tour, order a taxi, and recommend delicious restaurants.

Everything! Beautifully presented, the most stunning terrace and views. Just beautiful. Great service from the host, who recommended and arranged a fabulous boat trip (and airport/port transfers). Miri was an absolute superstar with the luggage (never seen someone carry so much so quickly in 30 degree heat!) and Mrs Tamara made sure we were cleaned and fresh towels every day. Great value.

Mrs. Tamara, die Putzfrau hat jeden Tag das Appartement geputzt und alles so schön aufgeräumt 😊. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Amphitheater Cave Houses and left with nothing but positive impressions. Minas, the host, was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. He assisted us with everything we needed, including arranging our airport transfer, organizing excursions, and giving us excellent recommendations about the island. A special highlight was the breathtaking view from our balcony overlooking the caldera and the volcano. The sunsets were simply unforgettable. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Santorini and would happily stay here again!

Our accommodation was centrally located with amazing views and spectacular sunset from our huge balcony. Our host, Minas, was friendly, welcoming and helpful. The rooms were spotless thanks to Mrs Tamara and Miri was a legend carrying our bags up and down the stairs. Highly recommend.

Περάσαμε υπέροχα! Το ξενοδοχείο είναι σε εξαιρετικό σημείο, στο κέντρο των Φηρών, με απίστευτη θέα στην καλντέρα. Όλα ήταν άψογα και προσεγμένα. Το προσωπικό ήταν ευγενικό και πάντα πρόθυμο να βοηθήσει. Μας εξυπηρέτησαν με τη μεταφορά των αποσκευών, κάτι που εκτιμήσαμε πολύ. Επίσης, η κυρία της καθαριότητας έκανε εξαιρετική δουλειά και το δωμάτιο ήταν πάντα πεντακάθαρο. Σίγουρα θα το επιλέγαμε ξανά και το προτείνουμε ανεπιφύλακτα!

The location was superb, the apartment had a large balcony with an uninterrupted ocean and sunset view. It was close to Fira town centre, shops, restaurants and the public bus station to travel around the island. The bed and pillows were comfortable, 2 pillows each person which was great. The apartment was kept spotlessly clean by Mrs Tamara and Minas was a great host. He has plenty of local knowledge and suggestions for places to eat and activities to do. He was also quick to respond to any enquiry we had during our stay. There were a lot of stairs to get down to our 5 person apartment, something to consider but the view was worth every one of them. Miri was there at our arrival and departure to take our bags down and back up the steps and to our transfer vehicle. His help was invaluable and made our stay much easier. Overall, value for money and I would recommend this accommodation.

The stairs require some fitness, but Santorini is not a flat island on the caldera side and there are stairs everywhere. Miri ensured our bags were transported which made it much easier.

The location, view, and staff were amazing. The room was spacious and had a wonderful outdoor patio with the best views of any place we stayed in Greece, making this our favorite accommodation. Minas helped us make arrangements and took very good care of us. We'd stay here again on our next visit to Santorini.

The room decor is traditional and hasn't been updated with more modern amenities, however, this helped to provide a great value for the accommodations. Having doors to the bedrooms would provide more privacy.

Beautiful Mediterranean architecture with a fantastic view.

Not good for anyone having any fitness issues as there are 106 steep steps up from the pool to the hotel entrance and you still are not half way up the caldera cliff to the village on top.

Everything! The view from our huge veranda, the best in Santorini, the location, in the middle of action but distant enough from crowds, the people working there, amazingly nice, friendly, knowledgeable and professional, they organized every aspect of our vacation, we’re grateful! The actual suite was spotless clean and spatious, accommodating 5 people in separate rooms and pillows and mattresses were of the highest quality and water pressure excellent! Wifi was perfect and even though there’s lots of stairs amazing Miri carried all our staff up and down and from and to the main road and taxi, even my handbag the last day!

Location is superb, room is right by the cliff side. Owner of hotel is very helpful and prompt with response. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We are extremely grateful for Miri who had to transport our suitcases (4 of them) to and from the pickup point. Angie at the front desk was super friendly and made the check in really smooth and relaxing. Kudos to Mrs Tamara for the daily cleanup, room was also clean and tidy when we returned for the day. Room was very comfortable and had all the necessary items needed. There's a shared balcony where you can watch the Santorini sunset from.... no need to jostle with the crowds.

Nothing major to complain about for the room and location. It would be nice to have a shower head holder for the bath. The many staircases in Fira will give you a huge daily workout.

Amazing views of the Aegean Sea, close to everything in Fira but far enough away to get a good night’s sleep on comfortable beds, well appointed with basic necessities.

Minas was a great host. Great recommendations! The location is great, the property is charming with lots of space, palatial terraces and spectacular views.

The Amphitheater was an incredible stay - it is extremely close to downtown Fira, everything was within walking distance. But the room itself was extremely quiet and shielded from the noise. It had great views right outside your door on the balcony with a direct view of either side of the cliffs and the old harbor with cable cars! Miri greeted us on our way in and helped us carry very heavy luggages all the way up and down the steep hill and staircase when we came, then again all the way out on our departing flight even at 4am! Mrs. Tamara helped keeping our room well organized and cleaned. Everyone was also incredibly welcoming and hospitable. Will definitely return and highly recommende staying here!

The views were incredible, and the place was clean and well-kept throughout. The host was friendly, which made the stay even better.

The kitchen could use a few upgrades — a coffee machine and some extra plates would have made it more functional.

It is located right in Fira, walking distance from everything. You'll be in the thick of things with the best bars, shops and everything else that Santorini has to offer. The view is breathtaking. Minas was very helpful and gave us an overview of the place at the time of checkin. Miri came to meet us up till the taxi and helped carry our huge and heavy suitcases down the uphill and downhill winding alleys of Santorini. The cleaning lady Tamara is also lovely and took great care of us.

The sheer number of stairs to get to the room. That's all, everything else was excellent.

Location was amazing. very large accommodation. I think 5 people can sleep there as there were 5 beds. It is really a cave and gave the feel of staying in a cave. The spiral stairs was beautiful. Built in 1920, the house runs through generations. Walking distance from Fira bus station...but a lot of stairs and steps. May be difficult if you have large baggages, We didn't have any. easy transport to all places from Fira. Sunset was amazing from the sit out place that comes with the property. No public will get in. It has wonderful chairs and tables put. We dont need to travel Oia to watch the sunset. It is right there in the accommodation. Staffs were friendly. Owner guided me through WhatsApp messages. I really wish to come again and stay here.

The staff was amazing! All of Santorini is on a cliff so there are tons of stairs. I had no idea how many!!! The check-in process was exceptional from before we got there. We communicated on WhatsApp and our transportation was arranged from the ferry port. We were taken to the edge of the pedestrian area and then had lots of stairs to climb. We were very pleased and surprised that Mira met us at the car and carried our luggage to reception and eventually even to our room. At checkout, transportation was again arranged, and Mira again carried our luggage all the way to the car. There’s no way we could’ve done it without him! Ms. Tamara is the cleaning lady and I cannot say enough good things about her. The apartment was spotless.Minas was our contact person and helped us with check-in and gave us plenty of recommendations. We would definitely return. The view was absolutely amazing! And the location was walkable both to the bus in town and to the main areas of Fira.

The location was fantastic and the views were phenomenal!!! Room was comfortable with an excellent patio to enjoy the view and have coffee in the morning. Our room was cleaned wonderfully everyday by Mrs. Tamara...she is outstanding! I arranged with Minas to have transport waiting for us at the airport. The shuttle dropped us as close as possible to the hotel, but we had the fantastic Miri guide us and carry our bags. All the staff is wonderful.

Cannot think of anything I did not like. Minas and staff do such a wonderful job.

The cave house itself. Dark bathroom. Floor dirty around the edges. No stove or microwave. Not even a toaster. Light fitting in bedroom missing, wired hanging from ceiling. Broken hook in bathroom. No plug in sink. Shade cloth on balcony not big enough to create any shade, so we couldn’t spend any time at all outside.

The location in Fira, stunning views from the terrace. The terrace itself was perfect to sit and relax. The fridge and kettle came in quite useful.

The bathroom was rather cramped and of course the many steps to and from the apartment.

We loved our stay! Our room was beautiful and the location was perfect. Very close to all of the shops and restaurants in Fira and also the bus to Oia. Minas, Miri, and Mrs. Tamara were very welcoming and gave great recommendations. Best part was reading on the balcony in the mornings with that view!

I loved the view from my room, it's easily the most beauitful view I've seen in my life. The room has everything you need, great location in Fira near everything, restaurants, night life, breakfast places, bus station.

10/10 view from deck. We rented apartment with view. The deck was a gorgeous place to enjoy morning coffee and sunsets. Our unit had one large bedroom with a queen bed and two twin beds. Miri helped us with our luggage which was helpful. We also arranged a catamaran boat trip with the owner and it was fantastic. We really enjoyed our stay and the beautiful island. Definitely hike Fira to Oia.

Although there was a full sized traditional kitchen in our unit, there was no cooking implements whatsoever, not even a hot plate. If you plan to eat out all meals it will be fine. If you like to cook some meals, make note.

Friendly, helpful warm welcome from Minos the owner who gave us advice on what to see and do on santorini. Amazing help given by Miri in transporting our heavy cases to and from our room. Spectacular views!!

We had such an amazing stay! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted immediately by Miri, who kindly helped us carry our heavy luggage up all the stairs -honestly, we don’t know how we would have managed without him. Miss Tamara, the sweet cleaning lady, did a wonderful job cleaning everything daily and made our stay feel so comfortable and cared for. Minas, the owner, was incredibly kind, always available through text, and gave us such great recommendations throughout our trip. The location was perfect- everything was within walking distance, which made exploring Santorini so easy and enjoyable. Everyone was so pleasant and welcoming, and we truly felt taken care of the entire time. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Santorini!

Absolutely loved our stay at Amphitheater Cave Houses Minas is a wonderful host who is passionate about the island and the experience of his guests. He advised us on restaurants, cafes and even souvenirs. The view from our apartment was picture postcard perfect. Santorini is very steep so the assistance of Miri with our luggage was invaluable. Be prepared for the stairs all around Fira. Small price to pay for the spectacular views. Plus there was wonderful assistance with luggage.

La grande terrasse avec vue mer (il paraît que c'est la plus grande de Fira), l'emplacement central et malgré tout, au calme. L'accueil par Miri qui a porté nos valises et les conseils de Minas sur les restaurants pour petits déjeuner/ déjeuner/dîner, excursions à la caldera et les supermarchés pour faire les courses. Il a également organisé notre transfert à l'aéroport pour le retour. Possibilité de stocker ses bagages à la réception avant le check-in et après le check out.

This is a very nice accommodation, very good location, amazing view from the balcony, comfortable and cosy. The host Minas was very helpful with lot of useful information. I really enjoyed my stay here and would gladly return.

The shape of the bathtub was a bit unusual, was not the most comfiest to shower there, but to be honest this is really a small thing.

海景第一排，正對著火山口，簡易廚房有冰箱、熱水壺和一些餐具，可以在陽台一邊吃晚餐一邊欣賞美景看落日，還有附近餐廳提供的免費live bands 😆。 我們住在最下層，從旅館大門口往下到房間有接近100階，不包含從大街走下來到旅館門口的階梯，（所以出門就是要往上爬這麼多階）！如同老闆Minas所說，可以鍛鍊身體維持身材，放心吃多一點🤣。 Minas很熱情地介紹聖托里尼的一切，強壯的Miri幫我們搬運大行李箱上下，一次兩個！房務清潔的女士也十分友善提供了我們的需求。

The location was second to none. The accommodation is simple, authentic and extremely comfortable. The views are absolutely out of this world, and Minas was the most brilliant host. He recommended several activities and places to see/eat which were all superb! We came to Santorini to enjoy the experience of the views, the food and the serenity of Greece and it truly delivered. The beautiful staff at Amphitheater were wonderful with everything taken care of, especially with the help of our suitcases (thank you Miri) and keeping our house very clean and with plenty of towels, and all that we needed (thank you Mrs Tamara). Thank you!!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The room was spotless, the bed very comfortable, and the view was nothing short of breathtaking. The host was incredibly kind and helpful: They gave us great local recommendations and even helped carry our luggage and arrange transportation, which we really appreciated. Just a quick note for future guests: our room was located on the lowest level of the property, and it required going up and down about 85 steps from the pedestrian path. It wasn’t a problem for us, but if stairs are an issue for you, it’s worth reaching out to the property ahead of time to request a room higher up. All in all, a peaceful and memorable stay — we’d definitely come back!

The only reason we’re giving a 9 instead of a 10 is that the room we stayed in was quite small. We had a bit of trouble opening our suitcases comfortably without it taking the whole floor space. That said, everything else was so lovely that it didn’t take away much from our overall experience.

Lieu exceptionnel avec une vue splendide sur la mer et la caldeira. Petite maison mignonne, propre et bien décorée dans le style de l'île. Terrasse avec vue magnifique où on peut prendre petit déjeuner ou apéro ou s'installer lire un livre... Personnel efficace et agréable. Emplacement idéal face à la mer, proche de tout mais au calme. Parfait !

The flat is a gem in Fira and provides a truly memorable base for a stay in Santorini. Minas was a fabulous host. He was in touch early to ensure the wonderful Miri was on hand when I arrived to help bring my case to the flat. This was very welcome! Minas' in person welcome was detailed and helpful and he was able to arrange airport transfers and make suggestions for trips and excursions. He was on hand if there was anything that was needed throughout the stay. The flat was very comfortable and the views over the caldera simply breath-taking. Mrs Tamara was courteous and helpful in making sure the flat was spotless each day and provided a change of towels. On the last day, it was very hard to leave!
