Personal extrem langsam poll dreckig

El lugar es excepcional. Es muy muy bonito y está decorado con mucho gusto. Las habitaciones son amplias, con aire acondicionado y un baño muy grande y bonito. Lo mejor: las vistas y el personal, que te harán sentir como en casa... o mejor! Nos fuimos muy contentos. Fuimos una familia con dos niñas de 6 y 10 años y se lo pasaron super bien.

Die Anlage befindet sich abgelegen im Grünen - Abseits vom Touristen-Trubel. Das hat uns echt gefallen! Wir konnten über das Resort einen Roller mieten und die Gegend erkundschaften. Man kann vom Resort aus super auf eigene Faust einige Wasserfälle besichtigen. Dann gibt es im Örtchen Badian ein schönes Restaurant namens "Payag". Aber man kann auch im Resort Dinner bestellen, welches dann zu einer beliebigen Uhrzeit serviert wird. Frühstück muss ebenfalls vorbestellt werden und wird zur abgemachten Zeit serviert. Ich kann über das Essen nichts Schlechtes sagen. Natürlich sind die Gerichte von der Karte etwas teurer als im Restaurant, aber bezahlbar. Hervorheben möchte ich das nette Personal! Die Mädels sind alle total lieb und hilfsbereit. Liebe Grüße an alle Marika-Angestellten, danke dass wir später auschecken konnten.

Wir hatten eine Spinne im Bad 😀 ich hatte anfangs etwas Angst, aber da Gute ist, dass die Spinne die kleinen Insektchen gegessen hat. Die Zimmer könnten etwas mehr Tageslicht haben, aber halb so wild. Wir haben super geschlafen.

The staff was amazing. Their help was wonderful in getting into town and suggesting trips. Its a decent beach, but not a white sands soft bottom beach. The bathroom was spacious and it was wonderful to have a clothes line that was so long that fit a wet environment of clothing and towels. Liked the food, but sometimes it took too long to come out. I liked the location that it was removed from congestion. We had gone up to Moalboal and it was not appealing at all. Liked the sunsets and the people. Sizable room.

Hmmmm....The long ass ride to the location. Three and a half hours from the airport was long, and it wasn't the distance; it was traffic and narrow roads. The driver was awesome, but it was long.

The beach front location

1. Staff is responsive and caring. My brother got fever and received full care from hotel staff. All requests, within their capacity, are addressed quickly. 2. The beach is beautiful. White sand. Although there are rocks and seaweed 3. The hotel is boutique (small but cozy) 4. The food is delicious and reasonably priced.

1. The quality of the room: - It's made either by bamboo or wood but lack of maintenance. There are lot moisture in the room which you can smell and feel right after walking in. It's added by the fact that the bathroom's roof is half open which is always wet. - The facilities in the room is poor: no hair dryer, amenities are poor. - The room is not cleaned on a daily basis. - There is no supplementary water bottle in the room - The tower is only changed upon request With the price they charged us for the room. It's not worth. 2. The noisy neighbor - The resort is located between two neighbor who rent the tends. Their customer often do BBQ and Karaoke next to our room. Thanks god, they shut down at about 9 or 9.30pm. - Mosquitos: lot of them. Be aware of this. 3. There are almost nothing around the hotel. It's remoted area.

Direct aan zee, klein resort dus veel persoonlijke aandacht. Goede gerechten.

For the area, which is very basic it is a good property. Beds very comfortable.

The area is not great. Good location for Kawasan falls and 30 mins from Moalboal but only proper hotel and karaoke bars very close and bad singing from 10am onwards. Bathroom wasn’t completely closed off thus did get spiders and a cockroach in there. Big problems with hot water. Food menu poor and quality average. No wine.

Personalet var så søde og hjælpsomme. Værelset var super fint og rent.

Everything! I love that they both have a pool and the beach. It was a very nice view to wake up to.

It would have been nice to have a blow dryer. Or maybe I just did not ask. But it wasn’t a deal breaker at all.

Das Personal ist einfach nur unfassbar freundlich und erfüllt einen jeden Wunsch, ist stets hilfsbereit. Das Essen war wirklich lecker, der Fisch wird lokal gefangen. Es wird alles frisch zubereitet. Man hat seinen eigenen kleinen privaten Strandabschnitt, es ist paradiesisch. Und das Hotel bietet verschiedene Trips an.

Der Check-in verlief unkompliziert. Nach der Ankunft wollten wir zunächst etwas Kleines essen. Positiv hervorzuheben ist die Küche. Das Essen war wirklich sehr lecker und qualitativ hochwertig.

Bei unserer Ankunft wirkte der Eingangsbereich leider nicht sehr einladend. Durch die blauen Folien erinnerte er eher an eine Baustelle, was keinen besonders positiven ersten Eindruck vom Hotel hinterlassen hat. Mit etwas mehr Gestaltung hätte man den Empfangsbereich freundlicher wirken lassen können. Auch der Pool im Eingangsbereich machte keinen sauberen Eindruck. Der Check-in verlief unkompliziert, danach gingen wir auf unser Zimmer. Wir hatten bewusst ein Zimmer mit Meerblick gebucht. Zwar ist das Meer teilweise sichtbar, jedoch entspricht dieser Ausblick aus unserer Sicht nicht wirklich dem, was man unter einem Meerblick erwartet. Was uns jedoch sehr gestört hat und für uns ein absolutes No-Go war: Direkt neben dem Hotel befinden sich zwei Karaoke-Stände, die gleichzeitig und extrem laut Musik abspielen und das den ganzen Tag. Hätten wir davon im Voraus gewusst, hätten wir das Hotel ganz sicher nicht gebucht. Da wir das Hotel bewusst zum Entspannen gewählt haben, etwas abseits von Moalboal, war diese dauerhafte Lärmbelastung für uns sehr enttäuschend und hat den Aufenthalt stark beeinträchtigt. Zusätzlich stimmen die Bilder auf Booking und ähnlichen Plattformen nicht mit der Realität überein. Die Liegestühle und Tische sind nicht die gleichen wie auf den Fotos, und insgesamt wird die Anlage leider nicht ausreichend instand gehalten. Alles wirkt sehr vernachlässigt: Die Tische sind schmutzig und voller Ameisen, die Liegestühle wenig ansprechend und die Sonnenschirme stark verschmutzt.

Es war eine sehr tolle Lage, direkt am Strand. Sehr liebevoll gestaltete Anlage mit schönem kleinem Pool. Nettes Personal. Sehr saubere einfache Zimmer.

Leider wird neben der Anlage viel und sehr laut Karaoke gesungen, was einwenig störend sein kann. Die Küche ist nicht erwähnenswert, am besten sind die einheimischen Gerichte.

Rustikale Einrichtung und sehr nettes Personal.

Sauberkeit im Zimmer - im Bad Ameisenkolonie und Spinnen. Eingangsbereich muss dringend gearbeitet werden. Zugangsstraße schwer befahrbar, eingangsbereich war nicht einladend. Preis Leistung: wir haben 100€ pro Nacht (2 Personen) für 2 Nächte über booking.com bezahlt. Beim Checkout haben 3 Personen nach Übernachtung gefragt - deren Preis war umgerechnet ca. 24€ pro Nacht.

The staff was amazing Joann was the best. Quite once the karaoke shut down. Beach was good. I was a bit worried about location and meals but they were very good and fair prices. No TV in room but your there for the beach but would be nice for a movie before bed. Will be back..

Karaoke, alot of people need to realize they have no business singing.

The staff's attention is undoubtedly the best part of the place. They responded to our needs at all times. The location is unbeatable, right on the beach, comfortable and ideal for relaxing and enjoying.

The staff were very friendly, the location on the beach was nice.

The restaurant/ bar closes by 7pm already, and the location is very remote, far away from other restaurants. It is a nice place to stay if you are looking for calm and quiet area.

Breakfast was having great choices and location was very good.

This is quite a rustic resort. The accommodation is clean and very close to the beach. It gives you a very local feel. The resort of close to the Kawasan Falls and Moalboal for swimming with the turtles and sardines.

Philippinos love Karaoke so there is a lot of singing into the night in the weekends. This is not the resorts fault as they cannot control this but be aware it will occur. The beach is good for swimming at high tide no so much at low tide

Beautiful setting right on nice beachfront , nice gardens , with a lovely pool. Evening meals were generally good and not over priced. Staff were helpful and friendly. It is very close to the spectacular Kawasan Falls

Loved our stay at Marika resort! We stayed in the big family room and it was so comfortable. Very spacious! My group of 6 had such an amazing time! The staff is amazing and helped with everything! We will come back!

Stayed in a deluxe room. It was clean and well equipped. Bathroom looked really cool. The swimming pool is just wonderful! Staff is friendly and attentive. The beach is swimmable during high tide but otherwise beautiful all the time. Sun sets into the sea. The only problem we faced was that there was no dinner served in the resort. If possible to book your stay online then you should do it as the prices are slightly higher when paying on the spot. Would definitely go back and recommend to others!

The staff were great. Nice lounge chairs on the beach. The food was really good, too. The property was really pretty, especially at night.

There are no lounge chairs at the pool. Rooms were really dark inside.

The rooms were really island style cute. Ac was great. Pool and Beach perfect. Little huts and loungers so amazing. Food was delicious. Staff was beyond friendly and accommodating. We arranged for massages on the beach. We highly recommend the Marika!

Excellent, made my time in Cebu so worth it

Location in a small beach with small shops and restaurants nearby. Good-sized room with a beautiful bathroom. Very warm and friendly staff

The room didn't get light during the day so you had to keep a light on. The pillows were rock hard and I could not use them. Luckily I had a travel pillow

We were happy to pay a bit more as it was on one of the only sandy beaches we could find on our trip. The location was lovely and not at all commercialised - a real island feel but…..

I have never complained at a hotel before but the locals staying at the weekend had a dog that wouldn’t stop yapping and the breakfast was shocking! Freezing cold and inedible. There are 4 sun beds in the whole resort and a karaoke bar next door that starts at 8am - so forget relaxing! I did take a video to demonstrate the noise but don’t seem to be able to post it on here!

Pool is still under construction. And the description is “pool and spa”. Manager won’t talk eye to eye with me, but other staff are very helpful. Maybe because we’re the only Filipino guests at that time???

The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

The environment is too loud from the various videoke stations near the resort. Even early in the morning you can hear already someone singing the karaoke. Its supposed to be serene and relaxing environment but thats the downside of the resort. Also the food that was served to us especially dinner time was too salty and they have a clogged toilet.

The room itself was nice, I’ve been wanting to stay in a bamboo/native room, so that was a good decision. The staff were nice.

We found some cobwebs on the hanging lamp in our room. Would have been nice if they provided us with in room slippers and a coffee maker, considering the amount we paid for our stay. Also, the neighboring stores & karaokes make the entire place look really cheap.
