Le personnel, Hajiba était vraiment au petit soin. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié. Le riad est très sympa et relativement calme et le petit déjeuner top.

Le matelas trop dur à notre goût. L'emplacement était un peu loin des points principaux.

Stayed at Riad Palau with a friend - we both really enjoyed our stay! Hajiba, Hasna and Sana were great and breakfast was lovely every morning. Maella was fantastic and gave us a great list of restaurant recommendations. When we asked if she had a suggestion for a spa for a hammam, she gave us details, suggested a package to consider, and then booked it for us! Our trip wouldn’t have been the same without these suggestions, so definitely make use of her knowledge and kindness! The location was great - we didn’t get a taxi once during the stay other than airport transfers, which Maella can arrange although we did not opt for this. The riad itself is beautiful, calm and very well looked after. Would definitely come back here!

Un Riad bello ed elegante ma allo stesso tempo autentico nel cuore della Medina! Basta farsi lasciare nella strada principale e percorrere 150 m a piedi e vi troverete in un'oasi! Camera pulita, spaziosa! Colazione da sogno sul tetto del Riad! Maella e il suo staff sono stati accoglienti e super disponibili! Il Giardino Majorelle è facilmente raggiungibile dal Riad, noi siamo arrivati in 20 min a piedi :)

We had a wonderful stay at this Riad. From the very beginning, communication with Maella was easy and pleasant—she was incredibly friendly and extremely helpful with everything we needed. The Riad itself is brand new and beautifully designed, truly feeling like a little oasis in the middle of the Medina. It offers a calm and relaxing atmosphere, which makes it perfect for unwinding after a busy day. The beds were also very comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

If we had to mention a few minor downsides, the breakfast was exactly the same during our four-night stay—although everything was very tasty, a bit more variety would have been nice. The room was also somewhat dark, with limited natural light. However, this is typical for riads, as windows face the inner patio. Overall, these are small points and did not take away from an otherwise excellent experience!

The location was very nice, in the Medina, you could walk anywhere from there. The breakfast was very good as well, and the treatment was exceptional. The host was very helpful with providing information regarding any doubts we had and also helped us book some activities and gave us a lot of booking recommendations.

The Wi-Fi connection in my room sometimes failed which was a bit annoying. Also since the Riad is located in the Medina it can be noisy if you are easily annoyed by that.

Apart from the great location, this Riad is such a lovely place. Beautifully decorated and our room was a great size and very comfortable. The breakfast is delicious and in a beautiful rooftop. The staff is very helpful and polite. Maella was such a great host. One of the days we had to leave quite early and Maella arranged for a takeaway breakfast for us. She also gave great recommendations of restaurants and places to see. Overall, this place has such a peaceful vibe and was perfect for a good rest after long days.

Zeer mooie en verzorgde, kleinschalige riad. De gastvrouw is super vriendelijk en gastvrij met respect voor je privacy. Ze regelt alles in een oogwenk. Alles adresjes die ze aanbeveelt, zijn geweldig.

1 minpuntje was dat we elke ochtend om 6u werden wakker gemaakt door het gebed. Misschien hadden oordopjes een oplossing geweest.

We hebben een geweldige tijd gehad bij Riad Palau. De riad is de perfecte plek om tot rust te komen en ligt dicht bij alle bezienswaardigheden. Het personeel was super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Maella, de gastvrouw des huizes, is enorm vriendelijk en kent Marrakech heel goed. Ze kan leuke tripjes regelen en is daarnaast ook super gezellig. Bovendien spreekt ze veel talen en kan ze Nederlands! Echt een aanrader tijdens je trip naar Marrakech.

Het verblijf was heel fijn. Mooie, grote kamer, goed ontbijt en een lieve, gezellige gastvrouw Maella. De Riad is centraal gelegen en lopend ben je al snel bij souks en bezienswaardigheden.

Breakfast was good, but only served for 1 hour, between 9-10. I understand it is Ramadan, but more remote Riads have offered a bit more throughout our stays. I would have expected a major city to offer at least the same level of service. The upstairs patio was nice to relax on.

Our twin room was very small, especially for the price we paid. Only one pillow each and no room for our bags. It was very tight.

Beautiful Riad, tucked away from the busy streets, yet still within walking distance of all the major attractions. It was a little oasis among the hustle and bustle. Breakfast was delicious, and I was even provided an early one as I had to get to a waking tour early. Lovely touches throughout as well to make it feel homely and welcoming.

Such a wonderful stay at Riad Palau! Maella was amazing and so helpful even before we arrived, making everything easy and stress-free. The riad and our room were stunning, spotless, and very well cared for. Hajiba made the most hearty and delicious breakfasts we could have asked for. The location was also perfect — within a 15-minute walk of most major places of interest. A beautiful place with lovely people, and highly recommended.

The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful — always sharing great recommendations and even booked us a Hammam. The breakfast was really generous, tasty and always fresh. They also made sure to attend to food allergies, which is a huge plus for us.

There isn't anything not to like to be honest. The alley can look a bit strange specially at night, but I think it's mostly just because it's small and ends up being a bit dark. It's not dangerous. I'd stay at this Riad again without any doubt! Great value for money, comfortable, friendly staff with great local recommendations, and it's beautiful.

We had an amazing experience at Riad Palau in Marrakech, and a huge part of that was thanks to the incredible host, Maella. From the moment we arrived, she went above and beyond — organizing transport for us, giving us helpful local tips, and booking unique activities that weren’t your typical tourist excursions. Everything she arranged felt thoughtful, personal, and off the beaten track — exactly what we were hoping for. The riad itself is beautiful, clean, and peaceful — a perfect escape from the busy medina. Breakfast on the rooftop was a lovely touch, and the whole atmosphere felt authentic and warm. The riad is very beautiful, well-furnished, and immaculately maintained. The room was spacious and the bathroom was very comfortable. The property is very quiet and relaxing. Maella is a thoughtful and helpful host. We had some difficulties, and she was incredibly helpful and supportive. The breakfast is excellent, and the entire staff makes you feel right at home.

breakfast was good - nice location on terrace - we also enjoyed the fact that unlike a hotel self service it was very local - choice of eggs fresh orange some fruit and local fresh bread and pancakes with jams - mint tea and coffee. it was tasty and enough for a good start to the day. two days we were out early but we arranged that something was left for us in the kitchen for our journey. breakfast is from 9 - 10:30 so you can locally walk the souk to see the set up and return easily for breakfast if you want to get up early. the manageress was excellent as were the two ladies who cook and clean. good little brochure on the souk with maps - Maella knew and guided us as to what to see - information in the location is poor for tourists so her knowledge was invaluable. we missed out on seeing a garden some 30k out but that's because we hadn't seen her early on to say what things we liked. I loved location although initially finding the place was a challenge I think that's part of the experience - once there there are excellent signposts and again Maella had sent photos to follow. it was also easy to get to a trip pick up for get your guide. very soothing feel about the whole environment. lastly the Riad took us in early and our room was available at 12: 00 a huge bonus the cleaner and her son made us mint tea and gave us a lovely welcome while we waited Maella terrace was a bonus we did not use the pool but that also looked a relaxing area and the yoga sounded a tranquil experience

I think the only thing I would comment on was that there was a great first night pack of tea coffee water but that we had misunderstood this to be replaceable - there was kettle and we bought some coffee/tea which we hadn't anticipated but got easily.

The Riad was absolutely beautiful, featuring stunning tiles and charming traditional details. Breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of drinks and freshly made omelets. We stayed in the rooftop terrace room, which was lovely and came with a nice view that we enjoyed each evening. Despite the busy atmosphere of central Marrakech, the Riad was a peaceful and quiet retreat where we could relax and rest. Also Maella, the owner of Riad was very helpful and friendly.

The property is spotless and location is excellent. The host is fantastic and very welcoming and accommodating. I think the better rooms have better beds, but we booked late and these rooms were not available. Staff is fantastic and breakfast is excellent. It's a great value for the money and great overall.

I can highly recommend this RIAD. We stayed in this RIAD as a family of 4 adults in 3 rooms over Christmas and had a fantastic time. The RIAD is beautifully decorated, with a lovely sunny roof top terrace. The rooms are large, beds comfortable and bathrooms great. It’s in a really good location, quiet and peaceful yet walking distance to most of the tourist sites. The host, Maella, is wonderful and really takes care of her guests. She knows the best restaurants and tours and organized an unforgettable dinner for us in the Agafay desert on Christmas day, going as far as arranging for one of our party who is a musician, to play with a Berber band. It’s a small RIAD with just a handful of staff who are all warm and friendly. Just book it, you will not be disappointed.

It was so peaceful here, after our trips into the city. The rooms were beautifully furnished with fluffy white towels in the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable with crisp white sheets. Breakfast was served on the rooftop terrace to include a delicious glass of fresh orange juice. Maella was very attentive and could not have been more helpful. The 2 ladies who cooked breakfast and cleaned the rooms on a daily basis, were very charming and always smiling. We loved it at this Riad. We had booked 2 rooms, I had travelled with my son and his fiancé for his 30th birthday.

My stay at this riad was nothing short of magical. The beautifully designed spaces, with their traditional Moroccan architecture and modern comforts, made me feel at home from the moment we arrived. The room was not only comfortable but immaculately clean and tastefully decorated. What truly set this riad apart, however, was Maëlla, the incredible host. She went above and beyond to ensure everyone had everything they needed. Whether it was arranging transportation, recommending the best local spots, or quickly solving any issue that arose, she handled everything with grace, speed, and a smile. Her warm hospitality made the experience unforgettable, and I felt truly cared for during my entire stay. If you’re looking for a peaceful, beautiful, and comfortable retreat in Marrakech, this riad is an absolute gem. I can’t recommend it highly enough!

Maella is really extraordinary host, very helpful and always available. We are happy that we choose her riad for our stay in Marrakech - location is great just 15 min walk to main square, it is very peacefull there and riad has so nice vibe, with just a couple rooms. Breakfast is nice,served on terrace from 9 to 11,so you can enjoy your mornings there. We can highly recommend this riad and will be back for sure.

The dekor was amazing, the breakfest was really good and the staff was super friendly. The room held very high standard and was cleaned everyday. I also really enjoyed the swimming pool - Super calming and relaxing vibe.

Such a lovely Riad, honestly we felt like home and we enjoyed it so much! We used the pool a couple times and they clean it everyday which is a massive bonus! Maella & the girls were so hospitable! An oasis of quiet and tranquillity. This amazing riad is placed in the old medina, close to everything you need and want. Super clean and welcoming. Maëlla, the manager is an absolute star. Not only she made sure we have a wonderful staying, but also recommended us the best places to visit and eat and organised transport every time. Bonus, she designs and creates jewellery, so when there have a look at her collections, they are gorgeous:) The two ladies that cleans and cooks are lovely as well and very helpful. Very grateful for meeting such good people and experience beautiful Marrakesh.

We have just spent one week in this beautiful riad. It is so calm and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the souks. Maella and her two staff are friendly and helpful .The place is spotlessly clean and breakfast was plentiful.

Arriving the first night when it was dark down back alleys was a new experience but behind every door in Marrakech is something of beauty. The alleyways are very normal and the people are so friendly.

We stayed at the Riad Palau for two nights and it was a pleasant surprise, exceeding all our expectations. The Riad is very well located inside the Medina; it’s at the same time charming, cozy and elegantly decorated. Maella is a wonderful hostess, and she was always available for whatever we needed. She also gave us excellent tips on how to enjoy the city. We must also highlight the kindness, dedication and professionalism of the entire Riad team. Finally, we have to say that the breakfast was really delicious and varied. We would definitely go back there :)

Maella & the staff were F****ing AMAZING! Can I cuss here? Oh well, brilliant team. The location was great, and we walked many places within the Medina. The Riad has 5 rooms, and it is so peaceful to return to from the busy streets. The Raid rooftop was my favourite; if you want a chilled evening, it's the place to be. TIP. If you want this kind of evening without going out, pick up some wine or whatever alcohol you like from duty-free. It's a clean, peaceful, beautiful Riad with the most gracious, helpful, and caring team. Oh, and along with the rooftop, drinks, and all that, you can request Maella to have a Tagine made for you, 24 hrs advance notice is needed. The Riad was like stepping into heavenly space, from the rather chaotic street life outside in the Medina. Beautfully designes by the landlady Maella, who is an artist as well as a dedicated hostess.

It was a bit messy in the surrounding area, but we got used to it. One of the rooms had a bit of smell, but it fixed during our stay.
