Reviewed Oct 4, 2025Such a beautiful hotel in an amazing location! The hotel and rooms itself were stunning and very clean. You should definitely try the restaurant as well, the food was delicious. Everyone working there that we met were so friendly as well and really made our stay. Especially the lovely man working in the hotel bar/cafe on the day of our checkout- and the receptionist who checked us in. Thanks for such a memorable stay!

Reviewed May 5, 2024Csodálatos hetet töltöttünk itt. Profi, segítőkész személyzet gondoskodott a kényelmünkről. A belsőépítészet a monarchia korabeli és a modern dizájn egyedülálló ötvözete, igazi élmény. A tisztaság, a kényelem méltán érdemli meg a maximális elismerést. A reggeli változatos, a kínálat gazdag. Sajnos nem tudtunk tovább maradni, de visszatérünk. Szeretettel ajánljuk!

Reviewed Oct 8, 2023The renovation of the old Straubinger might possibly the best ever of a k.k. monarchy monument. Brillantly done by keeping old walls, doors and character in general while not making any compromises on the luxury one would expect as a guest in 2023. The state of the art spa and pool area are outstanding. The bar is phantastic. Service is very good. Bad Gastein hasn't had any hotel of that standing since the k.k. monarchy had ended more than 100 years ago. Thank you to the new owners for that architectural masterpiece. I am looking forward to my next visit.
