Reviewed Sep 5, 2026Wir hatten diese Unterkunft gebucht, da wir in Staatz auf dem Musical waren. Der Genießerhof Haimer ist wirklich ein Genießerhof und wir werden sicher nochmals auf einen Kurzurlaub zurückkommen. Es hat einfach alles gepasst!!!

Tägliche Informationsübersicht welche Lokale und Heurige offen haben ist sehr hilfreich.

Reviewed Oct 25, 2025Traumhaftes Hotel mit einem super schönen und ruhigen Innenhof, in den alle Zimmer schauen. Sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet mit Haimers eigenen Marmeladen und Fruchtsäften. Gemütlich am Fenster sitzen oder im Sommen unter Zitrusbäumen im Innenhof.
Eine zweite Tür wäre Luxus pur um den Flur und die Bäder vom Zimmer abzugrenzen. Leider hört man morgens die abreisenden Gäste mit ihren Rolli-Koffern.

Reviewed Sep 18, 2024This place is for Wine Lovers. I mean, if you do not drink wine, you will not appreciate this place the way we did. Family run, wine based hotel. Their wine production started in 1783 or something like this, and the family tree is proudly displayed on the wall. Upon arrival we have tried 5 wines. There was a sect for breakfast (which we could not enjoy as we were driving on). You can buy their wines -- after tasting -- or the next day, to make sure that you know what you are doing ;-) Very good breakfast. Staff speaks English. A lot more wine around ;-)))))))

Reviewed Aug 27, 2024Very interesting place in a middle of town. Nothing special on the outside, but amazing from inside. The inner yard was the best, really. Staff was very helpful. Weather was very hot when we arrived and we had many boxes of wine in our car. They kindly offered to store it in a cool storage for time of our stay. Thank you very much. Our room was very big and comfy. With air conditioner. The parking is big and free. Breakfast was very good. And the tasting of their wine, great. By the way, they have 20 different wines, so be prepared.
Just one key for the room.

Reviewed Nov 23, 2023What did I like? The welcome drink was excellent. The owners make their own wine and the Grüner Veltliner was extraordinary. The (female) owner gave me a warm welcome; explaining also the history of the wine house. Check in was fairly quick and the room was large, with the option of air conditioning. The wifi signal was strong. Breakfast was above average.
What didn't I like? It felt a bit stuffy and snobby. The owner, who had been so gracious to me the previous day, created a completely avoidable charade with the printing of my boarding pass. I asked if she could print it for me and she made a bit of theatre and eventually produced for me a section of the boarding pass (copy and pasted and printed) that I had to throw away because it was unreadable. She kept repeating how expensive the cartridge ink is for the printer, but, conversely, I was presented with a fully printed receipt upon checkin and with a large logo emblazoned on the paper. I ended up printing it out in Wien and it cost me 1 Euro. For this reason, I wouldn't stay here again.
