Reviewed Aug 31, 2026The complex is very sweet and taken care of. The hosts take pride in this property and it shows. We stayed at the Elsa apartment, the room was fully equipped, clean and comfy. Our questions were answered promptly with a smile. Would definitely recommend for someone travelling to Vienna area.

Vi boede i lejlighed Anja Var ked af at det værelse med 2 senge - at for at komme i køkkenet / badeværelset - skal man igennem det store soveværelse. Det ville jeg gerne have vidst.

Reviewed May 6, 2026Unser Apartment war einfach toll und „das Personal“ super nett. Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet, das Bad neu und mit einer sehr guten Dusche ausgestattet. Das Schlafzimmer ist groß und hat viele Ablage- und Verstaumöglichkeiten. Viele Informationen zur Freizeitgestaltung waren ebenfalls vorhanden. Im Garten gab es für unsere Fahrräder eine sichere Abstellmöglichkeit.

Reviewed Dec 30, 2025Das Appartement war geräumig und gemütlich eingerichtet. Es gab eine E-Ladestelle für unser Auto und direkt vor der Haustüre lag eine Bushaltestelle. Für Tee und Kaffee fürs Frühstück war im Appartement vorgesorgt.
Es gab ein zweites WC im Appartement, das leider nicht geputzt war. Es fanden sich noch Kotspuren in der Schüssel. Auch die Dusche im Bad war offensichtlich nicht geputzt, da noch eine aufgerissene Packung Haarshampoo im Duschkorb lag und Seifenschlieren an der Wand und in der Duschtasse zu finden waren.

Reviewed Oct 12, 2025Die Lage des Appartments war für uns (Autoanreise) super. Parken vor der Türe, geringe Entfernung zum Heurigendorf Sooss. Alle Anweisungen des Gastgebers sehr gut durchdacht und präzise. Wohnung sehr sauber, groß und komfortabel.
Meckern auf hohem Niveau: Es kam Sturm auf und die sehr alten Fenster lassen sich nicht mehr so richtig schließen. Und der Bahnhof ist sehr nahe, so dass man den Zugverkehr deutlich hört.

Reviewed Aug 22, 2025Geschmackvoll und funktional eingerichtet. Gar nicht so selbstverständlich, aber im Apartment vorhanden: notwendige Hilfsmittel im Küchenbereich (Spültaps, Schwamm, Plastikbeutel etc). Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Ein Vermieter, der sich um seine Gäste kümmert.
Da aufgrund des alten aber modernisierten Hauses kein Fahrstuhl möglich ist, kein Hinweis in welcher Etage sich das jeweilige Apartment befindet. Uns wurde geholfen, da wir kuzfristig innerhalb unseres Aufenthalts vom 2. Stock in ein Apartment im Erdgeschoß "umziehen" konnten.

Reviewed Aug 20, 2025The apartment was beautiful, clean, and met our expectations. It had everything we needed for a few days or even longer. It was close to everything :) We highly recommend it. The host was beneficial.
The only drawback was the bunk bed, which was not suitable for our sons, who are now teenagers, but it would be great for smaller children.

The only (small) downfalls were: 1) The batteries in the remote control ran out after the first day but we couldn’t open the back because it needed a little screw driver! Maybe it’s an idea to keep a set there?! 2) All the windows, except one little one, had curtains/a blind, which was annoying because there was a lack of privacy when the other guests were walking past, especially when moving between the bedroom and bathroom! 3) There was no oven tray. 4) They could have left a few more Tassimo pods!

Reviewed Apr 21, 2025Very nice accomodation in a good location for a good price. Baden is overall a nice small city where you can feel safe and there is a lot to look at. Horst (the host) is friendly and welcoming. The occupancy of apartments was low, so we had peace and quiet. Apartment was comfortable with smart layout. Parking in the streets is sufficient, and on weekdays it is free also right in front of the building. We travelled with a toddler and it was not a problem. If we ever return to Baden, we know where to go.

Reviewed Jan 4, 2025Superb apartment which met our needs perfectly. Baden is a great town not far from Vienna. Good, regular train links and station is only ten minute walk from apartment. The apartment was cosy and I think it is a good sign when you are looking forward to getting back to it when you have spent the day in the freezing cold!! Horst was an excellent host and met us on our arrival, providing us with good local information about the area and what to do in Vienna. He also recommended visiting the Weinbau (wineries that serve food and wine at certain times of the year). We went to one nearby and it was excellent. So good to be part of this local tradition. Horst also left us small pigs and chocolates (an Austrian New Year tradition) - very kind and thoughtful. Would highly recommend this property and location.

Reviewed Jun 3, 2024We stayed at Hannelore apartment, 1st floor. It is one of the best accommodations we ever booked, and we traveled a lot in Europe. Host was extremely kind and provided us with all needed information. Apartment was clean, big, hell and warm. Full equipped kitchen, bathroom, beautiful yard. Location is very good - 15 min walking from the rail station, 10 min walking to the bakery and supermarket. Strongly recommend to all!

Reviewed Aug 24, 2023Wir hatten zwei sehr schöne Wochen, um Wien kennenzulernen und in der Gegend zu radeln und zu wandern. Unsere Ferienwohnung "Christa" war dafür der ideale Ausgangspunkt. Sie ist sehr geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet und komplett ausgestattet. Das ganze Haus ist liebevoll saniert und der Garten rundet alles ab. Besten Dank für alles! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

The appliances were great, with an induction stove and a fully equipped kitchen. The bed was comfortable, and the location was very quiet.
The only thing this place is missing is a washing machine! Everything else was there.
