Chambre dans un mauvaise état, débit d’eau ridicule, impossible de se laver correctement quand il y avait de l’eau car il est arrivé plusieurs fois que l'eau ne soit pas disponible en 2 jours... Le déjeuner était également très décevant

The hotel was absolutely amazing! It was very cozy, clean, and comfortable, with everything you need for a wonderful stay. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the beach. A special thank you to our host, Tobi, for his warm hospitality, kindness, and care. He made our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely love to come back!

Lo unico bueno es que tenia un hotel al ladonque te dejaban usar la piscina si consumias. Playa cerca.

No nos dieron la habitacion que reservamos. Nos dieron una sin cristal en la ventana, que por ahi entraba de todo. Despues de discutir nos cambio a otra, pero desconecto el aire para que no lo usaramos, porque nos queria cobrar por ello. Nos dio una mosquitera sucia y rota (al principio no queria). Habia todo tipo de bichos en la habitacion. Nos queria cobrar recargo por pagar con tarjeta, que despues de todo esto nos negamos.

La ubicación es buena, al lado de la playa y cerca de la calle principal

Aquel que tenga pensado alojarse en este alojamiento, que lo haga en el edificio nuevo. Nuestra habitación (de la parte antigua) fue una experiencia mala, la habitación esta muy muy vieja y descuidada y llena de suciedad. Por prácticamente el mismo precio nos hemos alojado en muy buenos sitios durante este viaje, nada que ver a este.

- l'emplacement à côté de la plage et de la ville avec beaucoup de restaurants / bars / boutiques souvenirs - la très grande chambre pour 3 qui était rénovée et bien équipée - le petit-déjeuner était bon

- nous avions une chambre pour 2 qui ressemblait plus à une prison qu'à une chambre. Une salle de bains dans le même esprit. Le sol était sale et nous n'avions pas d'eau chaude pour la douche - nous avons demandé à prendre le petit-déjeuner à 8h15 au lieu de 8h30 annoncé par l'hôtel pour partir à une activité, ce qui a été accepté par le personnel. Nous sommes donc arrivés au petit-déjeuner à 8h10, nous avons finalement commencé à être servis à 8h45 - nous avons donné notre linge sale au personnel pour faire une lessive, ils ont perdu des chaussettes et nous avons récupéré des chaussettes qui ne nous appartenaient pas - quand nous sommes arrivés à l'hôtel personne ne nous a rien expliqué, et le personnel ne parlait pas anglais pour répondre à nos questions - dans la chambre de 3 personnes, quelqu'un avait un plaid en guise de serviette pour la douche

The hotel is well located, close to the beach, and the breakfast is ok.

Unfortunately, the room was a big disappointment. It was very dark, gloomy and extremely basic. The beds were very uncomfortable, and the bathroom had an unpleasant smell. There were also no mosquito nets. The biggest issue was also the noise. The nightclub was incredibly loud, with the walls and windows literally shaking until the early morning. It was impossible to sleep. On top of that, some hotel guests were having party, smoking cigarettes and making noise directly in front of other guests’ rooms.

Très bien situé. Bon petit déjeuner et hôte serviable (il nous a aidé à réserver nos billets de bus de nuit).

Nous avions réservé une chambre double standard, mais à notre arrivée, on nous a attribué une chambre de catégorie et inférieure, nettement en dessous de nos attentes. L'hôte s'est justifié en disant que cette chambre disposait de la climatisation, affirmant que c'était le critère de notre réservation. Or, cette chambre ne figurait pas sur les photos de la chambre double standard présentées sur Booking. Nous sommes très déçus, d'autant plus qu'il n'y avait pas d'eau chaude.

De foto’s op Booking geven een vertekend beeld van de werkelijke status van de kamer. Bij de start niet de kamer gekregen die we hadden geboekt, personeel reageerde hierop niet passend door te zuchten bij vragen die we stelde. Uiteindelijk toch de kamer gekregen die we geboekt hadden, maar zeer simpele kamer zonder warm water (wat nergens staat aangegeven)

המקום נמצא בקצה הרחוב הראשי של כל החנויות והמסעדות ומדובר בכ-10 ד' הליכה כדי להגיע ממש למרכז העניינים. עם זאת הוא ממוקם ממש קרוב לחוף שקט מאוד. החדר היה פשוט, ארוחת בוקר מוגשת עד מאוחר (קפה, שייק, טוסט וביצים). הצוות נחמד ומנסה לעזור אך למען האמת הם לא תמיד הכי יעילים, אבל המון כוונות טובות. המחיר היה מצויין ממש ושווה את התמורה

החדרים יכולים להיות יותר נקיים, מתוחזקים ומוארים. אבל ביחס למחיר זה היה ממש ממש בסדר גמור והארכנו את השהות עד לסוף החופשה שלנו (בהצחלה סגרנו רק ל-3 ימים אבל כנראה שהיה לנו נח למרות הכל...)

Hay un edificio nuevo y otro viejo, a nosotros nos dieron habitación en el viejo y es sobre lo que daré mi opinión. La habitación necesitaba muchísimo mantenimiento: no tenía agua caliente, la cisteran estaba rota, le faltaba limpieza (había un montón de mosquitos en las paredes muertos...), al lado del hotel hicieron una fiesta techno que se oía demasiado desde la habitación (era sábado), los dueños tenían una actitud bastante extraña, nos cobraron 3% extra por pagar con tarjeta (no nos había pasado en ningun otro alojamiento del viaje), las sábanas bajeras eran súper pequeñas... En general no apetecía estar en el hotel más que lo justo para dormir...

Cher pour ce que c’est, le plus cher qu’on ai pris au Sri Lanka, pour une chambre plus que basique. Le samedi impossible de dormir à cause de la musique de la boîte d’à côté Ils nous ont cassé une planche de surf, on sait toujours pas pourquoi ils ont touché à nos planches sans notre permission

Me gusto su ubicación , no centrica pero cercana a la playa. La habitación era amplia y estaba limpia. Towy, el responsable ha sido muy amable y atento con nosotros.

Odaya girdiğimiz andan itibaren çok fazla örümcek ağları örümcek gördük üzerimize örtmek için verilen örtüyü açtığımızda kullanılmış pis ve yıkanmamıştı. Kahvaltı dahil fiyat ödedik ama ne bir kahvaltı vardı ne de kahvaltınızı ne zaman yapmak istersiniz diye soran paramız da çöp oldu böylece konumu deniz kenarına yakın olsa da merkezi konuma oldukça uzak kalıyor yemek yemek güzel bir plaja gitmek isterseniz tuktuk kullanmanız gerekiyor veya en az 15 20 bir yürüyüş tuktuk fiyatları srilanka geneline göre biraz pahalı geldi o yüzden üzerine tuktuk parasını koyup daha güzel bir yerde kalın asla tercih etmeyin

Ontbijt viel wat tegen, geen vers fruit. Het personeel was soms wat opdringerig met aanbevelen van activiteiten via het verblijf.

I was only supposed to stay a few nights, but I ended up staying much longer than expected because I felt right at home. The hotel is located in a quiet area, close to the beach, and each room also has a small table and chairs outside, allowing you to enjoy the tranquility of the garden. It was wonderful to have breakfast there every morning. The owners are welcoming and helpful. There was always a smile. I will definitely return as soon as I return to Arugam Bay.

Really lovely accommodation, good sized rooms & bathrooms, very clean and provided AC & fan. The breakfast was delicious, and included coffee and a smoothie each morning! We also rented bikes here. The chaps running the accommodation were lovely and always happy to help. Location itself was very close to the beach but slightly outside of the main town.

We waren iets vroeger als check inn tijd en hebben een grotere kamer gekregen. In afwachting van de kamer hebben we een welkomst smoothie gekregen en konden we niet veel later inchecken in onze kamer. Lieve man aanwezig in het hotel die ervoor zorgde dat alles in orde was. Zeer goed verblijf voor zeer voordelige prijs. Alles was super proper, bedden waren zeer comfortabel.

Wat last gehad van geluidsoverlast door een feestje achter de accommodatie. De eigenaar had ons hier wel voor gewaarschuwd.

Das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich wurde gegen eine sehr faire Gebühr am Flughafen in Colombo abgeholt. Die lange Fahrt von 6 1/2 Stunden von Colombo nach Arugam Bay war sehr komfortabel in einer gepflegten Limousine. Die Unterkunft hat ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und ist super gelegen - in unmittelbarer Strandnähe. Ich kann die Unterkunft und die Betreiber wärmstens empfehlen. Egal ob für Singles, Paare oder Familien.

Es un alojamiento tranquilo que tiene dos edificios, uno más nuevo y otro más antiguo. Merece la pena alojarse en la parte nueva, mucho más espaciosa y muy bonito. Relación calidad precio excelente, los empleados son maravillosos, ayudan en todo.

Un poco alejado de la parte bulliciosa, pero merece la pena el paseo de 10 min por la tranquilidad

Super clean, easy walk into town but away from the noise. Also a 20 second walk from the waters edge. Air con great. The staff were very friendly and helped with anything. Toby went above and beyond to make sure we were comfy and well looked after. You won’t find this quality with such a great price anywhere else in town.

De locatie is perfect! Een paar meter lopen en je staat op het strand. Het personeel Tobi en Mobi zijn erg vriendelijk en elke ochtend maken ze een lekker ontbijt! De airco op de kamer doet het ook goed.

We hadden eerst een goedkope tweepersoons kamer, maar daar zaten erg veel muggen. Dus uiteindelijk iets bijbetaald voor een deluxe kamer. Deze zijn erg aan te raden, verschil voor wat je krijgt is erg groot. Dit zijn mooie grote gerenoveerde kamers die super schoon zijn.

Pleasant and comfortable accomodation near the beach and the centre.

Compared to the usual breakfast on Sri Lanka this was really poor. Coffee/tea, juice and one piece of pancake. Calculate with additional 1000–1500 LKR extra per person for having something proper outside. Sad, as besides of this it is a great place. + this is not the hotel’s fault but as there was a party on the beach, it was very loud in the evening. If you are sensitive, this could be an important info.

This is the stay where we felt most at home! The hosts are so sweet and welcoming, the beds incredibly comfortable, the breakfast fresh and tasty (we loved the smoothies especially!). The staff even arranged our surf lessons + transfers and genuinely cared about always providing the best service. The beach is just a few steps away and you can walk everywhere - although the surfing spots are a bit further down the road. We absolutely recommend staying here and can't wait to come back!

Friendly staff, always available to help. The location is not in the town center, but it was the best choice since we were far from the noise and crowds, yet close enough to walk there in just 5–10 minutes. The AC room is highly recommended, with every comfort provided. The guest house is literally just 1 minute from the sea 😍 Super tasty breakfast from their chef!

I really enjoyed my time here, I even extended for another night. The new rooms are really spacious, clean and comfortable. It is the best night's sleep here. The location is close to the beach and there is a really good restaurant at the end of the road too. Staff were really friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here.

A month and a half ago, we stayed at 6 different accommodations all over Sri Lanka and this one was by far the best one! The room matched our expectations as per the cleanliness, but the interior exceeded our expectations. It was a cool room design and it had a traditional/rustical vibe to it. The location was great and we went everywhere by foot. But the best part was the staff - they made us feel welcomed and safe. We were greeted with a fresh smoothie and they made us breakfast every morning and every morning it was something different. They were very friendly, approachable, ready to help and inform us and not at all obtrusive. I can't praise the staff enough! We are very thankful to them and we are definitely staying there again the next time we come back! Wish we could have stayed longer in Arugam Bay and at Harmony Beach Hotel! By the way, they are renovating another building in the same place, so I can only imagine the accommodation being more aesthetic!

La cortesia dello staff, ci hanno accolto con un bel frullato di benvenuto. La struttura è molto carina, semplice ed accogliente e vicina alla spiaggia; basta uscire dalla struttura e in 50 metri sei sul bagnasciuga, e a pochi minuti a piedi dalla strada con i maggiori locali e ristoranti.

È andato tutto molto bene!

El desayuno nos gustó, hicieron un crepe con chocolate y plátano y un batido de fruta, además de café o té. Y el personal fue agradable.

No nos gustó que la habitación que nos dieron no era ninguna de las que aparecen en las fotos de booking. Además el ventilador era muy ruidoso y tenía parte de la ventana abierta al exterior sin rejilla.

Μείναμε σ ένα πλήρως ανακαινισμένο δωμάτιο! Πολύ κοντά στη θάλασσα, σε απόσταση 1’ αλλά 25’ απόσταση με τα πόδια από το baby point όπου είναι το σημείο ενδιαφεροντος! Ο Τόμπι μας καλοσώρισε με ένα πολύ δροσιστικό σμουθι! Το πρωινό λιτό αλλά πολύ νόστιμο! Το προσωπικό ήταν πάντα πρόθυμο να μας βοηθήσει σε ό,τι χρειαζόμασταν. Διέθεταν πιστολάκι, πρίζα αγγλικού τύπου,ψυγείο, βραστήρα.

Hotel położony bardzo blisko plaży. Pokój czysty, śniadanie pyszne. Klimatyzacja oraz wiatrak sufitowy działały sprawnie.

Pod prysznicem brak ciepłej wody, ale zimną woda nie była lodowata. Letni prysznic był wystarczający.

Me and my boyfriend had an amazing stay at Harmony Beach Hotel in Arugam Bay! Everything was just perfect. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with anything. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The location is excellent, right by the beach, which made it easy to relax and enjoy the ocean. The value for money is really fair – I honestly think you get more than what you pay for, considering the comfort and the service. The facilities were great, everything worked well, and the place had a very peaceful vibe. The breakfast was delicious and fresh every day – simple but exactly what we needed to start the day. I truly loved my stay and would definitely come back again. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Arugam Bay! Thank you Toby

C'était vraiment top , Tobi et ses collègues sont supers, très sympathiques, joviaux et très serviables . Super séjour, emplacement royal pour un peu plus de calme et tout près de la plage. Très bon petit déjeuner, oeufs, jus fruits, toasts ou crêpes fourrées... Je recommande vivement cet hébergement et endroit

החדר מאד מרווח ונקי. יש בו גם מזגן וגם מאוורר תקרה. כל החדרים עם יציאה למרפסת שיש בה זוג כסאות נוח ושולחן. השירותים נקיים מאד. היה חסר שמפו במיקלחת. הווי-פיי מאד חלש ולא הגיע לחדר. המיקום טוב- נמצא 50 מטר מחוף הים. להגיע למרכז העיר ( היכן שנמצאות המסעדות) צריך ללכת כעשר דקות. צוות לבבי ומאיר פנים.

El hostel en general esta muy bien, cada habitacion cuenta con una terraza y esta al lado de la playa. El desayuno esta muy bueno, ademas tienen una ducha exterior sitio para aparcar y una cocina.

Los miercoles hay una fiesta con musica muy alta pero el resto de los dias no se escucha nada. El precio del servicio de lavanderia es un poco excesivo. Aseguraros que comunicais bien las cosas, pueden haber malentendidos respecto a las horas del check-in y out.

Best place to stay in Arugam Bay! Location is perfect, short walk into town with all the restaurants, cafes and to the main beach! Our hosts Toby, Musa and Mobi were excellent! Toby made delicious breakfast each morning and we also had dinner which was amazing! Musa was very kind and helpful and gave us tips of surf spots in the area! The room was perfect, comfy beds, hot showers, good a/c and decent wifi! All 3 of them made us feel welcome and at home for our week in Arugam Bay. We wished we could’ve stayed longer!!

It is close to the beach and we had a newly renovated room, which was very spacious and had both an AC and ventilator. The guys owning the hotel are very nice and helpful, Thoeek really took care of us.

La zona es super tranquila y a 2 minutos del ambiente de Arugam Bay. La habitación esta muy bien, cama grande y comoda, aire acondicionado y ventilador de techo, baño amplio. Desayuno incluído riquísimo (Tobi es muy buen chef). Puedes alquilar motos y tuktuks aquí, servicio de lavandería, etc

Perfect location, 1 min walk to the beach and cafes. The staff are beautiful and make a delicious breakfast. I definitely reccomend, especially if you are a solo traveller.

Der Weg in die Stadt ist lange. Das hotel wird gerade weiter gebaut, entsprechend grüßt der Baulärm. Wir wurden nie nach unseren Namen gefragt - jetzt im Nachhinein bekomm ich Nachrichten von booking, warum ich nicht da war. Entweder wurden wir in ein falsches Zimmer gebracht, oder einige inklusive goodies wie Hygieneprodukte gibt es nicht (nicht einmal Seife).

Its is really well situated right very close to the beach. The rooms are simple but the garden w hammock is where you will spend most of your time anyway. The staff were so caring, always putting incense for the mosquitos and looking after all our needs. We were off season so it was also very cheap

The bed was comfy, the bathroom simple but clean. I liked the little outside area with the hammocks.

Me and my mother stayed for 6 days and I had to ask to maybe get a fresh sheet or towel after day 4. There was trash in the garden and no one made an effort to remove it. I asked friendly to buy new milk for tea and that didn’t happen for 2 days. While the guys where just hanging out in their hammock all day long. I can see great potential in this place, if the guys that run it just put in a little bit more love and effort. Wishing them genuinely the best.

Очень вежливый персонал, мы сначала бронировали на более длительный срок, но планы поменялись и нам пошли на встречу и изменили бронь. Встретили велком дринк - лимонад. По факту это не первая линия, то есть до океана надо все равно еще пройти метров 100, может меньше. В комнате есть все что нужно. У нас был и кондиционер и вентилятор. Постельное белье было чистое. По факту горячая вода и не нужна и так жарко. Берите с собой фумигатор от комаров. Розетки адаптированы под разные вилки, но если вам надо то дадут сетевой адаптер. Рядом с гостиницей у моста в поттувиль на болотах резвился слоник после дождя. Говорят он там очень часто выходит травку пополоскать и пожевать. Крокодилов не видели.

Немного пахнет в туалете.

Ne vous fiez pas aux photos ! La chambre au drap bleu en photo est minuscule, sombre, vieille et sent le produit anti blatte ! Nous avons décidé de dormir dans un autre hôtel (sans remboursement du Harmony hotel). Deuxième nuit : chambre un peu plus grande(car nous avions réservé 2 nuits et trop tard pour le remboursement), bof bof, moustiquaire trouée et de travers ! Chambre de bric et de broc ...Le propriétaire est nonchalant, le jardin ne ressemble à rien, les copains bricolent leur voiture à l' entrée de l' hôtel... Les chambres ne valent pas plus de 10 € ! A fuire !

nettes Personal: es gab ein leckeren welcome-Drinks und er war bei der Uhrzeit vom Checkout sehr entgegenkommend; gute Lage nur 30 Meter zum Strand

Wir wissen leider nicht wie die anderen Bewertung entstanden sind und ob die anderen Zimmer besser sind. Wir hatten allerdings ein Zimmer, das nach Beef Jerky gerochen hat. Außerdem waren die Bettlaken schmutzig (große gelbe Flecken) und die Matratzen sehr abgenutzt. Das Bad war sehr ungepflegt und unhygienisch. Das war auf jeden Fall die schlechteste Unterkunft während unserer 4 wöchigen SriLanka Reise

La struttura è situata in un’ottima posizione, vicino al mare, e a tutti i servizi e in una zona molto tranquilla e silenziosa (tranne il mercoledì notte!). Il giardino curato e carino fa da cornice a una potenziale bella struttura.

La struttura potrebbe essere un po’ più curata (manutenzione degli interni, pulizia più accurata, arredi più comodi e biancheria, cuscini più nuovi e puliti). Lo staff, se pur sempre disponibile, alle volte qualcuno appare scostante e insofferente,

Kindest staff ever! I loved my stay in at Harmony and I would have extended it by one more week, but unfortunately the wasn’t any room available :( Perfect location for digital nomads, I’ve been working from here several days and the WiFi was working perfectly (also during video calls) I would definitely get back here next time in Arugambay.
