Reviewed Aug 23, 2026Hôtes très gentils et accueillants. Domaine magnifique retiré au calme. La chambre est cosy, literie très confortable. Nous avons passé une très belle nuit. Petit déjeuner copieux et hôtes serviables dès le matin 😊
Nous aurions aimé un peu plus de produits locaux pour le petit déjeuner, comme les jus de fruits par exemple ou le pain. Dommage pour le prix assez élevé du wellness, nous n'avons pas pu nous permettre de l'ajouter à notre réservation...

Reviewed Aug 10, 2026Breakfast was not extensive but despite that very good with e.g. fresh croissants, yoghurt and fresh fruit, freshly bake eggs sunny side up and bacon. Rooms were well isolated from outside noise and with silent airconditioning. Bed and pillows were comfy. Nice things for sightseeing in the immediate environment (Castle of Wetteren, Castle Breivelde with restaurant, Castle of Laarne, city of Wetteren,....).
Although it didn´t disturb us, restaurants were at a bit more than walking distance. A pity that we could´t stay longer to try a few other restaurants.

Reviewed Jun 25, 2026Un couple sympa souriant et discret, la propreté est correcte, le lit est confortable.
Expérience mauvaise ! Je cherche à la hâte une chambre d’hôtel sur booking pour un séjour professionnel imprévu, je tombe la dessus; au delà de 180 euros la nuit (prix réduit) trop cher, mais à ce prix, on s’attend à un confort, des services, un spa…. Première déception, le spa est accessible à 180 euros supplémentaires sous réservation pour le préparer 45 minutes en avance 😂😂 … C’est en réalité une ancienne ferme au milieu des champs perdus, transformée avec les moyens du bord en « chambres d’hôtes » le problème c’est que c’est trouvé sur booking à la recherche d’un « hôtel » et pas une chambre d’hôtes ; à l’arrivée on se demande si on se trompe d’adresse, l’entrée est introuvable facilement, le soit disant parking est formé d’emplacement voiture fortuit au bord des champs; l’accueil est sympa mais manque de professionnalisme flagrant, la chambre réservée sur booking « deluxe » est en réalité un ancien grenier aménagé sous la charpente, et ça se sens …vieillotte, sans aucune cohérence ou thème , des bric et des brocs, sans entretien, par exemple une échelle dans la chambre qui mène à une loge supérieure est cassée et la loge est inaccessible, la Clim est bouillante et inefficace, la salle de bain manque d’entretien au niveau de la vitre de protection baignoire , …bref, beaucoup TROP cher pour ce que ça vaut !!

Reviewed Aug 14, 2025Lovely lady who hosts the property, the cooked breakfast and focus on great produce, the room was lovely and such a comfortable bed.
1. The shower’s water pressure and location in the bath made it a bit awkward. 2. Not a criticism… just advice for one night travelers (like us) who wanted to use the spa but didn’t realise you needed to book a space for exclusive use. We weren’t able to use it… and that was the reason I booked that location. To be fair we were sent a message offering us to book but I didn’t think it would be an issue just to use it. It did look lovely though from the pictures and the hosts were very thorough in their attentiveness to detail and cleanliness.

Reviewed Aug 30, 2024Cindy & Dimitry have created a lovely place to stay. The rooms are very comfortable with excellent facilities and we were made very welcome. Breakfast is a joy: a choice of many items and freshly cooked as well.
I cannot think of anything that would appear negative. This is a terrific place, and only a short distance from the city.

Reviewed Aug 27, 2024Very nicely decorated and the owners were very helpful, immediately attending to some technical issues we had with the room. Breakfast has everything you need and we are dog lovers so didn’t mind the three four-legged friends at all.
We booked this place because of the wellness area & pool that looked really nice: otherwise we wouldn’t have spent 200€/night at this remote location. Upon arrival though, we learned that use of the pool/spa would cost another 150€ per session ON TOP of the 200€/night. This was a big disappointment and hard to understand; the owner explained this policy with high regulatory requirements in the area but we stayed in other B&Bs in Belgium wherer spa/wellness was included in this high price.

Reviewed Jun 6, 2024The hotel is located in very quiet town. The surrounding are beautiful and the hotel facilities are perfect. Fully recommended to stay with your couple, also with family. The service is directly from their owners, they will treat you like family. If you go with a rented car, your find plenty of space for parking. Fully recommended. Don't miss this hotel if you go to Belgium. Its between Ghent and Brussels, so very good location.

Reviewed May 16, 2024A little slice of peace and quiet. A horse and trap trotted past my window - the birds sang in the little tree on my patio. After a mix up with my taxi the host very kindly offered to take me to work - seriously how can I give anything other than 5 stars with that kind of service. An amazing place with delicious breakfast and a bed I slept like a baby on. I only hope I can always stay here for work - and next time I want to walk the dogs !
