Les chambres de la Vaulx-Renard

Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an sehr willkommen und wohlgefühlt. Sophie und Damien sind unglaublich herzliche, freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Unsere Wünsche wurden erfüllt und die Unterkunft liegt wunderschön und ruhig mitten in der Natur. Besonders für Radfahrer ist sie ideal. Wir waren wegen des Triptyque Ardennais hier und hätten uns keinen besseren Ort wünschen können. Schade, dass wir nur eine Nacht bleiben konnten – wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Eigentlich nichts – nur, dass unser Aufenthalt viel zu kurz war! 😊

Het plaatje is compleet, de kamers zijn schitterend. De locatie is werkelijk uniek, het personeel is vriendelijk, een heerlijk ontbijt. er zijn veel B7B's die hier een voorbeeld aan kunnen nemen. een absolute aanrader!

French: Les propriétaires n’étaient ni polis ni serviables. Si vous n’êtes pas satisfait de votre séjour, ils vous disent simplement que vous pouvez rentrer chez vous. J’ai été tellement choqué par cette attitude que j’ai accepté de chercher un autre hébergement, à condition qu’ils me remboursent. Cependant, ils ont répondu que ce n’était pas possible. Il faisait extrêmement chaud au troisième étage. Les propriétaires ont expliqué que le bâtiment reste frais grâce à ses murs épais, mais ils ont oublié de mentionner que les clients séjournent au troisième étage, directement sous le toit, tandis qu’eux-mêmes dorment au rez-de-chaussée, beaucoup plus frais. La chaleur était insupportable. Mon plus jeune fils n’a pas pu dormir de toute la nuit et a finalement demandé à son père de venir le chercher pour le ramener en Hollande. Le petit-déjeuner était fixe et aucun changement n’était possible. Il n’y avait absolument aucune flexibilité concernant les options de petit-déjeuner. Il y avait également de nombreux insectes différents, y compris des araignées et des mouches, partout au troisième étage. Les clients sont apparemment censés s’en occuper et les tuer eux-mêmes. Dans l’ensemble, ce fut une expérience très décevante, surtout en raison du manque d’hospitalité, de flexibilité et de considération pour le confort des clients. ⸻ Dutch: De eigenaren waren niet beleefd of behulpzaam. Als je niet tevreden bent met je verblijf, zeggen ze simpelweg dat je naar huis kunt gaan. Ik was zo geschokt door deze houding dat ik ermee instemde om naar een andere accommodatie te zoeken, op voorwaarde dat ze mij zouden terugbetalen. Ze zeiden echter dat dit geen optie was. Het was extreem heet op de derde verdieping. De eigenaren legden uit dat het gebouw koel blijft dankzij de dikke muren, maar ze vergaten te vermelden dat de gasten op de derde verdieping verblijven, direct onder het dak, terwijl zij zelf op de begane grond slapen, waar het veel koeler is.

Al onmiddellijk bij aankomst, na een rit langs Moezel en Eifel, wisten we "This is the place to be and be happy". Mijn zoon wou genieten van een sauna sessie en dat werd direct geregeld. Ontvangst was zeer hartelijk, prachtige, rustige setting met veel charme en oog voor detail. Sophie bleek de perfecte host...... we komen zeker terug, iets langer wel dan deze passage om te genieten van de vele wandelingen rond Stoumont/La Gleize !

The hosts were extremely kind and helpful. The location is stunning, quite isolated and beautiful. The room is exquisite. Breakfast is good. The different cheeses are delicious as well as the croissants.

I liked the location where the hotel is located. It is nice cozy family run hotel , very clean and everything nicely organised. We visited on motorbikes, they had closed garage for us to park as it was going to rain heavily in night.

Most picturesque location you can imagine. Hosts are superfriendly and recommended us excellent local restaurants. Rooms and beds was perfect, just like the breakfast.

We were greeted with a very warm welcome from Sophie who was tremendous throughout our stay. The location is fantastic in beautiful surrounding countryside. Breakfast was amazing, so much to chose from and beautifully presented. The décor was stunning and spotless.

What a peaceful atmosphere and what a beautiful place. We slept wonderfully and had a delicious breakfast. Sophie is a very kind hostess. Our stay was short, but very pleasant! Highly recommended!

Arriver par le petit chemin menant à la maison et qui passe au-dessus de l’eau. Voir la maison bien illuminée pour Noël au loin. La belle bâtisse. La décoration pleine de goût de la chambre et de la salle à manger/salon pour les hôtes. L’accueil chaleureux des hôtes. Leur réactivité aux demandes. Le petit déjeuner copieux avec des produits de qualité. Literie très confortable. Pas de télévision dans la chambre. Ce qui invité au plein ressourcement. Le calme et la belle vue sur la nature depuis la chambre. La bouteille d’eau et les petits chocolats en cadeaux dans la chambre.

Ik miste een gordijntje,jaloezie voor het badkamerraam voor wat privacy.

Het was heerlijk stil, omringd door natuur. Het ontbijt was goed verzorgd en de kamers heel schoon en mooi ingericht.

Un séjour formidable, on ne peut rien imaginer de plus beau si l’on souhaite loger au calme, en pleine nature. Des hôtes très attentionnés, une propriété tout droit sortie d’un conte de fées.

Het is een prachtige carré boerderij Wat gerenoveerd is naar een luxe B&B . Het licht op een zeer mooi domein in de natuur. Mooi kamers met alle gemakken voorzien, zeer schoon en gezellig. De gast heer en dame zeer vriendelijk en zorgzaam. Ontbijt was heerlijk met verse broodjes en lokale streek producten. Ideale uitval basis voor de omgeving te verkennen. Wij gaan zeker weer terug naar deze B&B

Stayed here overnight on our way to Austria. As soon as we arrived we were given a very warm welcome by Damien, the owner. He helped us with our bags to a beautiful room with stunning view of the surrounding forests and a herd of deer. We dined at a great restaurant in the nearby village. Next morning we were served a lovely breakfast by Sophie(Damien’s Wife). This is a beautiful place to stay and the hosts are so welcoming and helpful….highly recommend.

Merci pour ce beau séjour ! J'ai particulièrement apprécié l'accueil chaleureux des hôtes, la litterie, la très belle décoration de la chambre, le petit déjeuner délicieux et l' endroit magnifique, en pleine nature.

Het personeel was ontzettend vriendelijk. Ze stonden altijd klaar om te helpen. Het ontbijt was zeer lekker en vers.

A beautiful chateau in the Ardennes, about 25 minutes from Spa. The location is beautiful, the hosts are fantastic, and the accommodations are nice. We found it to be in a very good location to explore. I highly recommend it. We will return when we are in the area again.

Great Bnb set in the pictureque countryside of the Ardennes. Great breakfast and service, highlight was the access to some nice walking trails.

Wi-Fi up top wasn't great, but I was there for work. For those holidaying, you do not need it!

Lovely remote setup in the Ardennes forest. Centuries old building recently renovated. The snow we got while we stayed made it absolutely magical. Also, breakfast was excellent and very generous.

Exceptioneel vriendelijke ontvangst door de eigenaars. Goede zorgen ook tijdens ons 5 nachten verblijf. Een prachtig chateau, prachtig gerenoveerd, dus fijne en schone kamer. Heerlijk wandelen in de schoonheid van de Ardennen, direct vanuit het hotel. Een absolute topper waarnaar wij graag willen terug gaan in de nabije toekomst.

Les chambres de la Vaulx-Renard provided us with everything that we were looking for! Its location in the country is both beautiful and peaceful. The bedrooms are very tastefully decorated; elegant and simple, and no detail has been overlooked. The breakfast of locally sourced products served by our host, Sophie, was a perfect start to our days. We would not hesitate to recommend a stay here, and are already looking ahead to book for a longer stay so that we can take in more of the sights and activities that this area of Belgium has to offer.

The place Is lovely, a renovated villa in the countryside with a beautiful landscape. Sophie and Damien are fantastic hosts. It definitely deserves a visit!

Incredibly welcoming hosts, beautifully presented room with great views. Breakfast was just what I needed for the long day ahead of racing! Damien invited me to drinks in the evening with his family and it was just perfect. I will be returning next year!
