When you step in from the somewhat untidy streets (as they all are on Lembongan) through the entrance into the garden, it feels like walking through a magical portal that takes you into a beautifully maintained space full of exotic plants, mango trees, and palms. The caretaker, together with his helpers, puts a lot of effort into keeping the garden clean and well cared for. The same applies to the bungalows, which are nicely cleaned and equipped with everything a traveler needs for a pleasant stay. There was always plenty of hot water for the shower. The accommodation also offers scooters, and you can book a manta tour directly with them, which we did and truly enjoyed. In the nearest restaurant (Warung Tumpang Sari), the friendly staff serve very good food at fair prices.

Nyoman was a great host, very knowledgeable and friendly, arranged two great snorkeling trips for me and my wife, and even helped me find durian!

It was a gorgeous, little oasis on Lembongan. A total gem. The owner was helpful and kind too. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again if we return to the island.

An extremely comfy, clean and quiet place. Excellent pool, and only 12 individual huts with a lovely garden aspect. Each hut has its own front verandah. All really close to Mushroom Beach, lots of places nearby for a great range of eating options. Our host, Nyoman, was very friendly and helpful and he arranged pick up and drop off from Sanur at a good rate. Excellent service.

We really enjoyed our stop at Sunset Star Huts. The staff were brilliant. Very helpful and informative. The owner would always stop for a chat when he saw you and asked about your day. It made the stay feel more relaxed. The Huts were really nice, clean and well kept. The mosquito nets on the bed were a life saver as the island in general has alot of mosquitos. Having a little balcony on the Hut made it feel like a little home for the stay. The grounds around are now filled with plants and trees which helped to add to a peaceful vibe. The pool was kept clean and tidy and there were always loungers for people. The location is really good, short walk away from the ferry drop at mushroom beach and located close to small shops, bars and restaurants. We personally would say this was a better part of the island compared to the top half. Quick access to numerous quiet beaches as well. We would definitely recommend and if we return to Nusa will be looking at re-booking.

Location & Convenience: Perfect location if traveling from Denpasar via the Dream Beach Express ferry. It drops off right at Mushroom Beach, which is an easy 7-minute walk to the resort. Charming Rooms: The spacious wooden bungalows set the Balinese holiday mood instantly. The high-ceiling huts come with a cozy canopy bed and mosquito netting. Exceptional Service: The owner and staff treat you like family. They went above and beyond by surprising my wife with a birthday cake after our dinner—a generous gesture we even shared with our next-door neighbour! Pool & Atmosphere: The refreshing swimming pool surrounded by lush tropical gardens offers a peaceful spot to unwind. Great Facilities: Excellent shower water pressure with steady hot water. They also provide thoughtful mosquito repellent incense on the porch and in the bathroom, keeping bugs completely away. Dining Options: While breakfast isn't served on-site, the resort is surrounded by fantastic local warung serving delicious, reasonably priced food. Authentic Vibe: Set in a local village neighborhood, waking up to the sounds of island life (bird chirpings, roosters, dogs, local morning routines) gives it a wonderfully authentic feel. Light sleepers may want to use the earplugs they provide (they even provided nail cutter) for the early morning village sounds (Spotted Dove cuckoo, roosters and neighborhood activity), though we personally found it added to the authentic charm!

De rust en het vakantiegevoel dat vandaag het eerste moment opviel. Daarnaast zijn de mensen van sunset star huts enorm hulpvaardig en altijd met een lach op hun gezicht, als we nusa lembongan nog eens komen bezoeken, zal het zeker in dit verblijf zijn, absolute aanrader 🤞🤞💥

Great value accomodation family run, emergent service, attention and checking in everything was ok. Very clean well presented . Very close to Mushroom bay with we loved am swam at every day. Was a little concerend no food on site when booking but very good options very close. We will be back

Great value accommodation. Rooms were spotless as was the pool. Close to restaurants, bars and only a short stroll to the beach. My wife and I would definitely recommend Sunset Star Huts and would love to stay again in the future. Thanks to Norman and Yoga (the hosts) for a memorable stay.

Chambre spacieuse et nettoyée en intégralité tous les jours. Jardin luxuriant et très bien entretenu. Boisson de bienvenue. Piscine très agréable. Localisation au top entre deux plages et proche de restaurants sympa.

What a delightful stay. Immaculately clean little hut, with very thoughtful details and touches included like toothbrushes, torch, shower caps and other personal items. Comfortable bed, great ac and fan, we used the fridge alot. Beautiful gardens and pool area. Nyoman and Yoga are fantastic, so delightful, friendly, helpful and kind. Yoga organised ferry bookings, snorkelling tour and we used their scooters for 3 days which was fun and essential to get around the island. Incredible value for money, and location is great, so close to Tamarind and Hidden beaches and Mushroom beach. Lots of great local food and drinks next door so it's not an issue they don't have a restaurant ( shout out to lovely lady at Rigils for her breakfast smoothies and rolls)and also Mushroom Espresso for coffee). Absolutely 100% recommend Sunset Star huts and would return in a heartbeat.

Not a biggie but we didn't have hot water a couple of times for shower, due to gas going out, but Yoga sorted it quickly.

Justo detrás viven familias y como familias locales, se despiertan pronto, hablan, ponen musica (flojita pero la ponen), hay gallos cantando desde las 5 de la mañana… pero el alojamiento pone hasta tapones.. es algo inevitable pero una realidad aunque el hotelito no tenga la culpa..

We liked The people to start with, but all the rest made us so happy during our stay. The bed, the care, the everyday cleaning, the poll and garden are very well maintained and the little restaurant next door are a must (good price and super delicious). They have everything you need (fridge, kettle, A/c, mosquito repellent, hair dryer etc..) We will definitely return.

L’hotel si trova vicino alla spiaggia di Mushroom Bay, ha camere bellissime e pulitissime, con un attenzione a tutti i dettagli, all’interno della camera c’era il tagliaunghie, lo spazzolino di cortesia, cose che alle volte non trovi neppure negli alberghi di alta categoria, i letti comodissimi e larghissimi, lenzuola e asciugamani che profumavano di bucato e l’host che è anche proprietario della struttura sempre attento e presente, ci ha accolto con asciugamani per rinfrescarci dopo il viaggio e succhi di frutta freschi…che dire l’ospitalità in questa strattuta fa da padrona. Superconsiglaitissimo…tornerei domani!

Really loved our stay here. The units were excellent, well maintained and clean. Management and staff were excellent. Great pool and grounds. Excellent location. A short easy stroll to Mushroom beach, shops and eateries, and also to Tamarind beach. I'm glad we chose to stay at Mushroom Bay, and at Sunset star huts. I would love to come back and stay again

We absolutely loved these huts. Clean, and great value for money. It is a family run business and everyone was so helpful and lovely. Set in a tranquil garden with a lovely pool area. We would love to come back again!

We loved how relaxed it was. Manager Nyoman was so friendly and professional, always checking we are OK 👍. Staff were smiling and stop by for a chat, Bon Bon super friendly with great English. Very clean, nice pool, great location to local warungs and beach. We loved it ❤️

De hanen en honden in de omgeving. We hadden oordopjes nodig om te kunnen slapen. Daar kon de accomodatie niets aan doen uiteraard.

Die von Locals geführten Bungalows haben viel Charme und sind wirklich mit Herz eingerichtet. Yoga und sein Onkel waren zu jederzeit ansprechbar und sind super hilfsbereit. Danke nochmal an Yoga der mit mir eine Stunde lang einen Sneaker suchte!! Absolute Empfehlung!! Wir kommen gerne wieder 🧡

I loved my stay at Sunset Star Huts. The huts are beautifully done and so clean. The garden and vegetation gives one a lot of privacy within the resort. Communication prior and during my stay was superb. Yoga and his uncle went above and beyond with any request or help I needed. I love that they think about the details and truly care for their visitors. It’s worth mentioned I didn’t spend too much of the day in the grounds as I was diving but when I was there, I found it peaceful and a wonderful experience.

I know some people mentioned the roosters/dogs/some music next door but this really didn’t bother me. Equally some mentioned the deep step into the bathroom, this may be tricky for someone much older but didn’t bother me.

De lokatie was top vlakbij Mushroom beach en Mushroom espresso voor de beste koffie! Veel bloemen en planten en heel veel vogels! Heerlijk zwembad en lieve eigenaren. Heel leuk plekje om te eten als je links eruit loopt 3 min aan de linkerkant. Goed eten en gezellige rotan sfeer

De wifi was wat minder maar dit gemeld en ze zouden er wat aan gaan doen.

L’accueil, la propreté, le bon rapport qualité-prix. Le logement est spacieux. La piscine est spacieuse. Les attentions du gérant: J’ai été malade le denier jour (rien à voir avec le logement) et il nous a autorisé à rester quelques heures de plus dans la chambre .

The location was perfect - the hosts were lovely - kind helpful - fun and very inviting. The rooms were cool, always clean, had everything we needed and were kept clean the entire holiday . The grounds are lush with beautiful gardens and birds - they are maintained daily - the pool is crystal clean and very welcoming after a long day . The atmosphere is welcoming like a family home or entirely private if you want time alone. The beds are super comfy and the rooms are free of pests with canopy turned down in the afternoon . Perfect walking distance from mushroom and tamarind beach - Steve is the best at organising any tour or activity you want . Warung right next door is delicious - our group of 6 loved every minute of our stay . Can’t wait to come back .

Stunning clean huts within a beautiful garden. Great pool to lounge around when it’s too hot to lay in the sun on the beach (a quick 5 minute walk from the place). Hosts were exceptional and made our stay very easy and enjoyable.

Only downside were the dogs and roosters that were on the neighbouring property’s land waking us up early every morning! Not the hosts fault but guests should expect the occasional morning noise :) would stay again regardless!

Clean and well provisioned room, with a few extra bathmats to avoid slips and lots of little courtesy items. Safe providers. Staff were friendly and very helpful. they really are trying hard to provide a good pace to stay. The pool was very good. Sorry was fine. It is located a short way down the street to Tamarind Beach and a short. Walk the other way to Mushroom Beach. Nice restaurant down the fairly quiet road and quite a few on the busier Mushroom road.

Was a nice stay despite usual issues of no hooks in the bathroom and some largish steps down to it. Access to the pool from one side was a bit tricky through the shrubs. Entrance way a bit tricky underfoot too. We thought the place was a very nice place to stay but overpriced compared to comparable places in the area.

We are so glad we stayed here! We looked at so many different places but we could not have made a better choice. The huts are just lovely, more spacious actually than the photos look, the pool and the gardens were very nice and well looked after, and overall it was very clean - the team do an amazing job with housekeeping twice a day and preparing mosquito net and coils. Mushroom bay is definitely our favourite area as well, we looked all over the island. Great food options, best beach to swim and have a drink. But really what made this stay so special is the team. Hospitality is amazing in Bali, but this team really went above and beyond. We felt so welcome even before we arrived, we had great chats and laughs with the team who are just genuinely beautiful humans. Next time we travel to Lembongan, we will 100% stay again. Highly recommend!

Beautiful garden, relaxing atmosphere and only a short walk to the best beach on the island and great local warungs.

Sunset huts was much more tropical and lush than the photos suggested. Relaxing around the pool was a delight. Although breakfast was not included we preferred that as there were a lot of local eateries proving a great breakfast at a great price. We had six rooms in total and all enjoyed the stay.

We loved everything about the property. Close to everything but tucked away for a peaceful stay, many warungs and mini mart steps away. One great warung next door for breakfast. The property has exceptionally maintained gardens and a resort style pool (so beautiful). Multiple sun lounges were always available and the pool gets enough sun to maintain a lovely temperature. The hut is a traditional style and well built with excellent quiet air conditioning, a fan, a fridge and TV with wifi so we had the option to log in to Netflix or other apps if we wanted to. The bed is really comfortable with quality bedding. The staff are so friendly and helpful, the owner, Nyoman, is very proud and has every reason to be. We have stayed at high end resorts and homestays over the years and this place stands out as one of the special places. Exceptional value for money.

Our ratings are 10/10 for everything - we could not fault it. The only consideration for potential guests to consider is the 2 deep steps into the hut ensuite / bathroom and just keeping doors closed to prevent mosquitos; although we did not have an issue.

Great location, within walking distance to Mushroom Beach.

The property does not provide daily towel replacement. The shower water was not very warm and sometimes felt a bit cold. From around 9 PM, the host waits for guests to return before closing the main gate. The outdoor lights are also turned off afterward, making the whole property quite dark at night, so it may not be suitable for guests who return late. There are rooster noises during the daytime, and music from nearby restaurants can occasionally be heard in the evenings and around 6 AM, which may be an issue for light sleepers.

We loved everything about this place! The staff were amazing and put so much effort into everything! You can tell they truelly care about their guests! Incredibly accommodating even when we decided to extend our stay last minute (we simply loved the place too much). The gardens provided a beautiful serenity and privacy as well! We can't wait to return again soon!

The location is great near mushroom bay and good warungs. Bed was comfortable

I had no hot water for my 4 nights stay! After talking to the manager twice and he tried to fix it but didn't fix it twice. The aircon was cooling just in the night. During the day it was super super hot. The wifi connection was super bad, disconnects all the time. They didnt switch the towels for all the 4 nights, not body towels not hand towel, ...In this price range you can find a lot better on the island, a place that at least provides hot water, a working aircon and wifi and some drinking water...

We will remember our stay at this place very fondly. The owner is an older gentleman who was always very kind, helpful, and genuinely interested in making sure we were comfortable. The rest of the staff were also very friendly and attentive, always checking if we needed anything. As for the bungalow itself, it was very clean and well equipped. It was cleaned every day, stocked with water, and incense was lit to keep mosquitoes away. The hotel pool was also cleaned daily and very well maintained. My wife and I spent 5 days here, and we are truly very happy that we chose this place.

Room is well maintained everyday, very high quality of linen goods and towels that you usually get in five star hotels. New scooter for rental as well at a great price. What a beautiful, beautiful stay. I can’t recommend this property enough. Nyoman, his family & staff are so friendly and welcoming, forever working hard around the clock to keep the grounds looking lush. Even well before the sun comes up, their days begin quietly to make sure it looks picture perfect when you awake. The rooms are stunning and there are so many surprise amenities which was a nice surprise - including toiletries, robes and even a sewing kit which I actually needed! Aircon was cold, rooms nice and dark with proper curtains for sleeping. The rooms were kept absolutely spotless every day and a turn down service at night, with fresh mosquito coils, was also part of the little touches that made it special. I appreciated all of these things - it makes you feel so looked after. There are many restaurants close by and it is situated in such a central spot it was super easy to get around. Scooter hire was straight forward and felt good quality and safe. Everything was just so easy staying there. One constructive note - I wish there were drinks available to purchase on site, especially for days by the pool when you randomly feel like a cold coconut or a cold drink without having to leave the accom. This would be a great addition. although again, there is so much nearby 🙂 Stunning stay - highly recommend. Can’t wait to rebook in the future. Thank you Nyoman 🙏🏼

Me and my husband stayed here and we loved the insents that they put going towards the evenings The staff were very welcoming. Honestly I would stay here again. The owner was very lovely and remember everything we were doing on the island. The scooter were easy to hire and didnt need to hand over passport like other places. We has the best stay. Always sunbed around the pool area. So much privacy in the huts. The huts are very clean cant dislike the place

De buren hebben een hond die iedere nacht om het uur aan het blaffen was. Om 08:00 ging vervolgens de ontbijtmuziek van de buren aan. Lang en diep slapen zat er daardoor niet in helaas.
