New Pyramid Front Hotel

The overbooked, and kick me out without notification. After I was charged and booked over 2 months before.

I had a wonderful stay at the New Pyramid Front Hotel in Cairo! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, everything was very clean, and the view of the Giza Pyramids was absolutely breathtaking. I especially loved the rooftop terrace and the pool — perfect spots to relax and enjoy the incredible scenery. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Cairo !!! 🇪🇬👍

Worst time ever thought I would love this country and based off of this hotel stay, I will never come back to Egypt again

Stay was ok after initial confusion saying we only had one room when we had two. One room AC better than the other. Just called Pyramid Front not 'new' which confused our taxi as we thought these were two different hotels. Staff ok but not massively welcoming.

What i loved was yhe view of pyramids and closeness but the area was too congested and loud and dirty

Very clean hotel. Rooms are big & comfortable. Amenities include slippers, shampoo, soap, shower gel, hair dryer, kettle, tea and coffee. Room on 6th floor include balcony with garden view. Good value for money

Extrêmement déçue de l'hôtel.! Nous avions demandé une chambre avec vue sur les pyramides et nous avons eu une vue sur des échafaudages. Ils promettent une piscine que nous n'avons pas utilisé car son hygiène laissait a désirer. Nous avons mangé au restaurant de l'hôtel une pizza marguerita qui ressemblait en rien à une pizza. C'était du pain avec du fromage gratiné sans aucun goût. En dehors du petit-déjeuner, leur plats sont sans saveurs ni goûts. Nous payons directement à la réception du restaurant un prix bien trop élevé pour la qualité des aliments. Vers 23h, l'employée qui avait encaissé notre argent au restaurant vient sonner à notre porte pour nous demander de payer ce que nous avons consommé.! Nous étions en train de dormir et elle nous a dérangé en vain car nous avions tout payé, de plus avec elle .! Nous avons profité pour réserver des activités directement a l'hôtel et ils nous ont demandé de payer à l'avance, chose que nous avons fait. Quelques jours plus tard, l'un des employés nous dit que soi-disant nous n'avions pas payé la totalité de la somme des activités et que nous devons encore payé une somme plus qu'élevée.! Nous avons dû attendre 1h30 pour qu'ils contrôlent sur leur caméra que nous avions raison et qu'ils avaient effectué une erreur sur leur ordinateur. Le paysage est vraiment magnifique mais l'hôtel doit revoir son organisation qui est pitoyable.

Excellent location to take pictures from the roof top, the swimming pool and the areas very good from all the angles to take pictures

Positives: The room was quiet, was a good place to get sleep, and was near the pyramids. Negatives: The hotel room, primarily the bathroom was dirty upon arrival with hair and dirty faucet handle. I was too exhausted from my flight to inform staff to complain about it. Staff constantly stares at us whenever we enter or leave hotel; it’s so strange and makes me feel uncomfortable. Maybe it’s a cultural thing in Egypt? Breakfast buffet food was not appetizing; at least food was available. Homeless children beggars outside the premise which made it uncomfortable.

Amazing and best motel that’s not a foreigner run.

Overall a clean hotel. Difficult to get clean towels each day. We would ask every morning and only sometimes it would be available. Not a smoke free facility. Views of pyramid at restaurants great. Breakfast was nice assortment. Pool was open in April.

Lift was out at one stage. Had to ask to bowls and spoons at breakfast. However staff vwry friendly

Very nice hotel. Good environment and breakfast. The staff were very nice and helpful. Didn’t know much about the town, the staff helped me a lot with getting around and gave good and helpful information that were needed. Totally I was happy about the service and the time spent there.

nice stay, super noisy, you will hear the road all night if you have a pyramid view. we took things from the minibar that we thought were free and were charged almost $20 at the end i just wish it was disclosed. breakfast was really good i wish there was labels for the food though. overall good stay

Hotel was just OK, nothing more. Room was nice and clean but worn out. Nevertheless, bathroom was spacious and comfortable. Top floor restaurant had The View :) Food? Not good (my grilled chicken was both cold and chewy). Breakfast was much better. The staff, especially in the restaurant, was soooo friendly and wonderful. However, the worst thing was really bad and extremely disturbing late nights and early mornings: the corridors were extremely noisy - people shouting, talking loud, running around. Our room door was a thin one without any kind of isolation or noise reduction. No carpets on corridor floors, that made the noise even worse. Recommending? Nope :(

The photos I uploaded are from the roof restaurant where I was chilling every night after busy days in Giza and else where in Egypt. My room was 30 m2 was solo on this trip.Room was modern with A/C and you will get it cleaned every day if you want to. They ask almost every day when they see you in the corridor do you want it cleaned. I didnt spend much time in the room, why would i? Always go to the roof where you have restaurant, the breakfast is also in the roof restaurant and the roof has the pool too. I want to give special thanks for the restaurant Manager Mr. Toba and other restaurant staff that made me feel like home for the whole two weeks of stay just mentioning Donya and Ahmed by name. Thanks to Hassan also! He really is a good massager, magic hands! Five stars! Taking care of the pool and atmosphere up there at the pool. Excursions, when thinking about seeing Egypt. I did alot stuff solo, but for longer trips high recommendation just to book from the hotel excursions. Alexandia, Memphis, Saqqara, Luxor, Karnak, Suez Channel, Fayoum, 4x4 safari special thanks to hotels Excursion staff Sir Ahmed and Lamiaa for making this trip to Egypt epic! Hotel is like 1-2 km away from Giza pyramids and new grand museum, you can do those walking, I did them too. But you can also take them from Excursions, depends how you like it. Thank you I had a great time and no regrets for choosing The Pyramid Front Hotel!

The hotel was very clean and comfortable..you often see staff cleaning day to night! The class bathroom is unique and fun! Having coffee at the roof top restaurant with view of fireworks at the pyramids is a nice treat! The staff are all welcoming and very nice…I’m extra thankful for the soft comfortable beds that allow for good sleep after long days on excursions! I love the large open lounge with plenty of seating when you have to wait for Ubers or last minute decide what you want to do for the day! I highly recommend for your visit in Giza!

Das Hotel wird gerade renoviert. Als wir ankamen war die Rezeption provisorisch eingerichtet. In der zweiten Woche wurde die neue Rezeptur eröffnet. Die Baustelle war ein wenig kriminell.

Es war ein staubfilm im Zimmer und Hotel- was ich aber als normal hinnahm da wir ja direkt vor den Pyramiden wohnten. Sehr freundliches service Personal, schöner Pool zum Erfrischen und sehr leckere frische Fruchtshakes im Restaurant. Das Hotel hat auch eine tolle Aussicht vom Pool und Restaurant aus.

Nous avons du attendre 4h que la chambre soit disponible, sans rien pour nous faire patienter. Si nous ne voulions pas attendre, il nous fallait payer 25 dollars! Nous sommes donc allés au petit déjeuner censé être inclus. Ils nous disent que c’est 10€ pour deux puis au moment de payer ils nous demandent 10€ par personne. De plus ce n’était pas bon, jus de fruit industriel qu’ils font passer pour du frais et … Ils ne parlent qu’en dollars avec des prix aussi chers qu’aux US ou en Europe! Ils nous ont affirmé nous préparer la meilleure chambre, qui avait une fenêtre donnant sur un mur plein de poussière. Les draps et serviettes avaient des taches, des poils noirs traînaient partout. L’eau de la piscine a une odeur abominable qui reste sur la peau et les cheveux même après plusieurs shampooings, à tel point que nous nous y sommes baignés que pour tester. Pour partir, ils demandent d’attendre pour vérifier l’état de la chambre! Ils ont d’ailleurs demandé qu’on paye une petite bouteille d’eau 1 dollar alors que nous n’avons absolument rien pris de leur minibar. Je ne recommande pas du tout cet établissement.

The hotel was undergoing construction, so it was very noisy and dusty. The electricity kept on going out and there was no hot water in the showers. Even after all that, the hotel refused to offer a meaningful compensation. The kids and I were extremely disappointed.

Unfortunately I was disappointed with the hotel except for a few employees. The front of the building is not the most suitable. From the first day of arrival they were building early in the morning on the 6th floor and I was on the 5th floor. On the third day around 2 am I went to the reception to complain about the noise of the construction. It stopped for about 10 minutes and then they continued with the construction. Check out took too long. I think the best thing about the place is the view of the pyramids.

We stayed the hotel 3 nights, very clean rooms, breakfast was ok and staff was welcoming people.

Restaurant staff were excellent, and very accommodating. Breakfast was good however signage would have been helpful. Overall pleasant stay and would definitely recommend.

The hotel, was clean, and room looks good, but in some where you can find dust, especially near the TV and between the wood lines of the wall. The air conditioning worked well, and the hot water was pesent.The personal, was so friendly and helpful and never ask to tips, they wanted your happiness that's why we all time give them tips, cause they do everything naturally! One problem is the reservation, never ask them to do, otherwise they will increase unless to decrease the price. Online the reservation was 37 and after in place they say me that was 45 and not less that obiusly should be!! Ok the money are not the problem, but I don't like when someone try to stole in someway..... That's why I cancell the reservation and I opted for another hotel. The place, as also our toor guide told us, but was clear since the beginning also for us, was dangerous and not good ..... So we never go away from the hotel without our toor guide and driver. The hotel unfortunately is in maintenance, so most of it is work in progress.... The pool is dirty, and they don't clean, also they stop at some time the filtering ( they told me, but I think they never start it ...) In fact you could see even the oil fluctuate on the surface, maybe of some on who did the bath before. Another thing is that online they say breakfast included, but is not our breakfast meaning.... Cause you have to pay even for the water !!! And you pay 10 time it's price !! I repeat water that should be included !!

Mooi Hotel, personeel vriendelijk en hulpzaam, kamers zijn mooi netjes en als omschreven, helaas tijdens mij verblijf waren ze aan het verbouwen. Dus dat zorgde voor een klijn beetje overlast. Maar een kamer met pyramide uitzicht is prachtig maar je hoort de auto’s en claxonneren erg goed.

This hotel is definitely one of the best with an amazing view of the pyramid. This is the same as the Pyramid Front Hotel, I am still confused why they have two different names for the same building but oh well!! Overall the experience was very positive. The hotel itself it is situated in a very poorly constructed area, there is not much for tourist around there. A lot of buildings are still under construction. The hotel is inside a very dodgy alley (who is actually guarded by people of the hotel), then the reception is on the 4th floor. Maybe because 1st floor is still not done. Inside it’s very modern and well presented. When we first got there we got greeted by very friendly and smiley staff. They were all really happy to see us. Be prepared to be giving out tips to staff that helps you as they expect it. We did not give it too all but only the ones that really helped us! We noticed in Egypt this is a very common thing. We first got given a very small windowless and when we noticed that the sheets were stained, we reported it to reception and they straight away apologized profusely and offered us not only to change the sheet but they upgraded us to a much much bigger room!!! We were so pleased!! The room was clean, with window, beds were soft and comfortable. We had a really nice stay. The restaurant upstairs has amazing views of the pyramids, the food is quite decent but… the pizzas have way too much cheese! Pool area is small and sometimes hard to find a seat.

Wonderful hotel with stunning view of the pyramids! Loved the roof terrace and the staff were so helpful.

Tolles Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Ein sehr schöner Ausblick auf die Pyramiden. Die Zimmer sehr sauber, das Frühstück gut und ausreichend. Sehr zuvorkommende Rezeption. Das Hotel bietet schöne Ausflüge an.

Hotel staff, restaurant staff is amazing! View is unbelievable! Loved the restaurant staff and their hospitality.

This property is still under construction. You will hear drilling and noisy staff starting very early, so if you are looking to sleep in this is not the place. Hotel menu, drinks and breakfast is very limited and it’s the same everyday. Price is expensive compared to restaurants like savola few doors down or downtown. Hotel states you can see the pyramids light show, this is rubbish as it’s on the other side. Swimming pool is consistently cold. Never seen anyone use it. Hotel taxi service is very expensive small journey is $20 up to $40 - sometimes Uber is cheap (even they try to rip you off) Stay toward the Nile and not Giza as it’s better with more options. There’s nothing around the Giza journey

You get the side view of the pyramids. Staff is super friendly and kind, always available. It was a great stay.

Reasonable price for this hotel near Giza. View is fantastic and I liked the breakfast. However, there is no nearby dining options and there were renovations ongoing.

The hotel staff are outstanding, so friendly and helpful. Rooms are modern and spacious and the location is close to attractions. Food was great value and tasty with a 24 hour service and we really enjoyed the late check out available. The only let down is that it can be quite noisy, our room was by the main elevators so we could hear people all night. However, overall I’d definitely recommend and would stay here again.

The view to the pyramids is extraordinary, the noise of the road in front is horrible. The pool on the roof compensated at all.
