Desayuno y cena excelentes.

New, very nice staff, love the pagoda with seating area

We had a wonderful stay at Azal Lagoon Resort in Abu Simbel. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the warmest welcome by Safaa at reception, who went above and beyond to help us with everything we needed throughout our stay—thank you so much for your kindness and professionalism. The resort itself is only about a year old, and it really shows in the quality and design. The villas are among the most luxurious we’ve ever experienced—spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable, they have a lift! It’s an ideal destination for families, with a very safe and relaxed environment for children, and it also works perfectly for larger travel groups. The buffet breakfast was especially impressive, offering a wide variety of options to suit everyone. One thing to note is that the resort is about a 10-minute drive from the Abu Simbel temples, so walking isn’t really practical. However, transportation can easily be arranged through reception, which made everything very convenient for us. Lastly, the resort grounds and gardens deserve a special mention—they are absolutely stunning. The landscaping is vibrant, colorful, and meticulously maintained, creating a peaceful and visually beautiful atmosphere throughout the property.
It was away from the town, but this is of course also its strength.
Large property with nice pool and outdoor areas.
Too large and impersonal, mediocre food, room decor was like a motel with cheap furniture and tiny bathroom.
everything is nice!
nice staff. quiet place. Good choice of tours.

Tres bien fait Spa tres sympa Balade au bord de lac tres belle Vendeur a la boutique adorable
Repas hors de prix Receptionniste qui pousse bien trop fort a l achat de tours organisés par l hotel
Spacious, well maintained, great view nearby the lake
Very good services and hospitality. Especially the staff Peter. He supported us to upgrade the room for a better view, taking care of each steps of our journey. Bravo. The toilet needs to be cleaned more. Generally I like the resort and service. Thank you all!
Location is excellent - close to the Abul Simbel airport and the Temples. The hotel is on Lake Nasser with stunning views. Breakfast was good, the dinner and lunch menu are the same. The hotel organised for us to take a boat out at dawn to see the sun rise over the temples. Stunning - wrap up warm!
Piped music outside 24 hrs a day. I just wanted to listen to the amazing birds! We booked very early and paid too much as a result. Leave it until nearer your trip would be my advice.
yery good!🥰
Very nice atmosphere, beautiful design of garden
Perfect location
The staff are all very nice.

The hotel is conveniently located just a 10-minute drive from the Abu Simbel Temple, making it a perfect spot to relax away from the crowds. It offers stunning views of Lake Nasser, and the rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. The surrounding area is peaceful, with plenty of space to walk and unwind. The staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming, making our stay feel warm and personal. Overall, a wonderful place to rest and enjoy the beauty of Abu Simbel.
Everything was exceptional!
A big complex with large suites. Staff are friendly and helpful. The water pressure is excellent so you’ll get a good shower.
The suite living room wasn’t particularly comfortable or inviting. The kitchenette lacked pots or utensils, making it rather purposeless. In general the decor and furniture was a little tired.
Room was amazing, very clean and spacious. Well equipped and excellent facilities. Great view of the Nile with balcony view including the pool. Overall amazing. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful all the time. Peter the Reception manager gave us great advice on arrival and made us feel very welcome. Had great experience at Abu Simbel as a result of his advice to see sunrise first (by boat) and adjust timings to miss the crowds - resulted in far superior and enjoyable experience. Felt really valued. Dinner and breakfast food was amazing, great choice. Service surpassed expectations and show cased high end hotel. Pool great. Complex not over crowded.
Nothing. Only observation was could not easily read the room numbers, however these were being replaced.
Great staff, warm and friendly. Best sleep I have had in weeks. Would recommend.
Only instant coffee available.
部屋がでかい!きれい!プールが近い!

Large well appointed rooms. Extensive gardens overlooking the lake. Very helpful staff. Quiet location, yet only 5 minutes drive from town (which is busy and noisy) and 10 minutes from the temple
The resort is very modern and new and we were upgraded from our original villa room to a villa suite with five bedrooms. It was absolutely fabulous with our own private pool and view across the lake. The staff was attentive and very helpful and friendly and would definitely stay here again.
Nothing - the property was great.
We recently stayed at this wonderful hotel with our family and had an absolutely fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the excellent facilities—everything was clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed to ensure comfort and convenience. The service was exceptional, with staff going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their kindness and attentiveness truly made a difference and added a personal touch to our stay. The food was delicious, offering a great variety that pleased both adults and kids alike. Every meal was a delight, and we appreciated the quality and care put into the dining experience. And the swimming pool—what a highlight! It was simply fantastic, perfect for relaxing and having fun with the family. Whether lounging poolside or taking a refreshing dip, it was one of the best parts of our stay. We left with wonderful memories and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable family vacation. We’ll definitely be back!
beautiful balcony and swimming pool, hope to come again.

Wonderful place and service
プールのバーを利用したいけど、電話でお願いしなければスタッフがいないのが不便だった
We chose to overnight in Abu Simbel and there was limited choice for hotels. Most tourists do the day bus tour. We hired a driver and spent the night. The up side was we were able to see the temple with only two other people onsite. Great experience. The resort is huge, appears to consist of apartments and the layout reminded me of Florida. Buildings are very spread out with parking in front. It is completely walled in with security. We had a 3 bedroom with full kitchen. Very clean and comfortable but limited wares. Check in and out was excellent. Great service. Outside of the apartment was quite dusty but then again you are surrounded by desert. The pool was like ice and looked as if the pump filter needed to be turned on. Your only dining option is at the resort unless you have a car and I am not sure how good the options in Abu Simbel are. Dinner in the resort was good but on the expensive side for Egypt. Breakfast was good and included with the room. There was a buffet which surprised us since there did not seem to be many people at the resort. The grounds are lovely and there is a pretty marina on site.
Beautiful view of Lake Nasar.
Very new resort just few minutes from the Abu Simbel Temple. Comfortable rooms and nice pool.
the facilities, the pools, the location next to the Nile river, the outdoor facilities
the price with no wifi in the room, with the average quality of food and coffee at breakfast, with the very basic comfort of the bathroom.
Beautiful resort and very accommodating staff! Peter was so helpful and made sure we were taken care of. The car price to go the village was not too bad if you're just going once a day. Also, I honestly loved how there was hardly anyone there. It was so peaceful and felt good to get away from the crowds. Abu simbel is a very small town and there were hardly any tourists staying overnight anywhere. It was probably my favorite stop during our Egypt trip.
Nice big property. Right next to the lake. Stunning views. Big pool. Friendly staff. Only 1 restaurant on the property with a limited menu. But staff is friendly and accommodating. The hotel is a 10 min drive from the temples. There is nothing around the property so you will need a car for transportation.
The food buffet was pretty good, but we had better buffets elsewhere in Egypt. We ate two meals, dinner and breakfast. The food was good but lacked the variety that we had at other four-star hotel buffets in Egypt.
Well. I'd like to say it was perfect, we stayed for one night only. The main problem was that we had to call the front desk at one point regarding a cancelled flight to Aswan and the need to hire a driver immediately, but no one at the front desk answered the phone. I had to walk over only to find the front desk empty. This was about 5:00 p.m. Finally, someone called us in our room and apologized, saying they were dealing with some other problem, but that's unacceptable at a four-star hotel, even in a remote spot like Abu Simbel. 24 hour service means 24 hour service. That's what you pay for: you need it when you need it. They were very nice though and very on top of it after that, making the call to the airport to confirm the cancellation and arranging the driver for us also.
Well looked after - very big and comfortable
Location is a bit far from town
This is a new hotel and the staff are busting themselves to make it a destination. It is a bit away from any activity in Abu Simbel town which is good or bad depending on what you are looking for. We were looking for quiet, so it was great. The suite was huge and well decorated. We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant. Both were excellent. The grounds are spacious and beautifully landscaped.
Nothing.
Very good location - close to the airport and a bit far from the town, which give you extreme quietness. Just at the bank of the lake with amazing view. The staff is very friendly and tries to help as much as possible. At the reception, in the bar or shisha corner, or in the restaurant - they always smile and tries to help! 👍 The hotel facilities are OK, even if a bit simpler than 5-star hotels in other places. We took a Lake-view suit and fully enjoyed it! Overall, we were happy we choose the place! Good luck 👋
The staff and effort of everyone to solve any situation or request you may have during your stay is the best of this hotel The view of some rooms!
Great view

We got an upgrade to a suite, which was very Nice
Everything ok
Everything is nice, the room is big, Peter helps a lot, we had a cozy stay.
Overall, we had a pleasant experience, with friendly staff and comfortable accommodations.
We had a little surprise with dinner charge from our first night, We were charged 6191.50 EGP ($122 USD) for 4 people. We arrived at the hotel late that evening, around 9:15 PM. After checking in, the staff informed us at approximately 9:30 PM that the restaurant was still open and that we could have dinner. Unfortunately, no one mentioned that the dinner was not included in our stay or provided any information about the cost per person beforehand. When we got to the restaurant, it was near the end of the buffet service, and there was very little food remaining. We ate only a small portion of what was available. There was a lack of communication about the additional cost and its amount, and the limited food availability at the time only adds to the disappointment. For context, a meal at one of the best fish restaurants in Abu Simbel costs less than 1500 EGP (30$) for four people. This makes the 6200 EGP charge we had very excessive.
Exceptional hotel and amenities with the most friendly and helpful staff. They upgraded our double room to a suite which was well received! Breakfast was excellent as well and the pool was very clean. We would highly recommend it. Thanks to Peter, Mr. Yosri and the team at Azal Lagoons Resort!
Loved the location, staff were wonderful, Peter and his team were outstanding
Azal Lagoons Resort was the perfect accommodation for our time in Abu Simbel. The hospitality was fantastic, the food was brilliant, and the room itself was excellent. Thank you Peter and team.
Really a very good hotel, nice room, fabulous view, and staff are all very kind. Many thanks to Peter, who provided perfect service. I will definitely stay here again if I came to Abu Simbel again.
Very Nice hotel although a bit far from center of the Town . Thx to mr Peter who was very kind. We were upgraded in à suite and our stay was very nice. The food was also Very nice.

Spacious rooms/suites, clean and comfortable. Very helpful and accommodating personal, Peter at the reception is the best !
It’s very cool. The room is large and the service is very good! Safaa is very helpful! Love Abu Simbel!
Large mugs for tea/coffee , fluffy soft towels, bathrobes.
The water does not drain properly in the shower.
Very large suite, decent restaurant buffet.
Rather pricey for the area, but had very large comfortable mini-apartment. However, we were awoken at 6 am by a very loud engine spraying an anti-insect substance that smelled like your nose was inside a car exhaust pipe. The area has lots of insects, so I understand the need to spray, but to do it at 6 am ensured that it bothered ALL the guests.
very new (2023) resort - very extensive and very well appointed. Beautiful setting on Lake Nassar. Nice pool. very Very relaxing trip. Great to see Abu Simbel at sunset and sunrise - from a boat! accommodating and pleasant staff Thank you for peter from reception Special thanks Mr. manager of the hotel Mostafa

Lovely location next to the Lake Nasser
everything was amazing! incredible stuff and all the support and help!
Very comfortable and clean appartments with helpful staff. Food in the cafeteria was delicious. Great place to rest, swiming in the pool or even going to the dock over lake Nasser

The pool! The room, the deck on the lagoon and the nice background. The staff, the food and the garden was all very nice!
Best Manager Ever Mustafa, very good All good the room is nice and clean, love it

Very kind staff. They went all the way to help us organising transfers, tickets, boat excursions...
Very good place
The full staff, including service and management, were simply outstanding! They cared about us traveling as an extended family.and celebrating our daughter 12 birthday. They even prepared a traditional party for her. They gave local knowledge and advice. This allowed us to visit the Temple at night, discover new places and offer and exceptional 5* world-class service that we will never forget. Special thanks goes to the manager, staff and all personal and this 5* resort. Personal thanks to Hisham, Dooar, Safaa and Hossam that cared about us with a world-class customer service.
Absolutely amazing place. Beautiful setting against Lake Nasser/ The Nile. Fantastic staff that really help you. No haggling, 5min taxi to the Abu Simbel temples (Night is beautiful, quiet and comfortable.
upon our arrival we were welcome by Serag El Din the front Office who took extremely good care of us througout our entire stay: restaurant recommendations (we has dinner ar Eskaleh Eco -Lodge which was outstanding), arrange transportation, Hana Michael took very good care of our trips and also Ahmed. We felt more like with friends rather than employees from a Hotel and we LOVE It. They definitely make the experience absolutely worth it
The hotel is excepcional, very new with great facilites, however seems they keep in the process to be completed...the wifi did not work properly, the breakfast could use fresh coffee instead of coffee bags, the burguer we had at the pool was expensive for the quality and the gym miss some additional weight Small things that are totally overrule by the level of attention provided the staff
The staff and food was excellent. We enjoyed our 1 night stay. Seraj delivered amazing service. He was always available to meet out needs.
Everything was great.
Staff was very very friendly. . Especialy Serag and both receptionists! Staff organized a supprise for our friend for her birthday . The cake was good. Room/appartment are nice, lot of space, tidy and very clean. Bed were confortable . Happy they had a little car to help you to go tp yiut house because the hotel is huge and the swimming pool a must with this hot weather !
Food was not good, ingredients low quality and huge quantites. I would rather have a small plate, better quality ingredients and more delicate "cuisine". it was Very expensive too . The hotel lack "cosy"/"personal" feeling, it s a huge and main stream. The spa and others facilities were close. Swiming pool was not very clean but it was ok though
Azal Lagoons is a fabulous place to stay. The rooms are so modern, clean, comfortable and incredibly spacious. The location is just 15 minutes away from Abu Simbel and the staff will go beyond their way to help you with anything you need. The team and Seraj was so supportive to cater for our food requirements and arranging tickets.
Simply not. Perhaps I have to mention that we could have been the only guests in the resort for the night.
Chocked drain hole in bathroom with feet submerged under water if we haven’t stood on the shower room threshold. No Uber, no indrive there so the manager there arranged us a poor Hyundai sedan at US$ 55 for the afternoon and evening. US$ 120 from Abu Simbel to Aswan with an Hyundai SUV which is better than the sedan. The normal price is only around less than US$ 40 in total. It’s a robbery. Poor breakfast that I don’t even want to complain if compared with other treatment.
The hotel is really beautiful and clean. Hany was great. Despite the roads being closed at night for tourists, he managed to find a solution for us to reach the hotel. He also organized the most amazing sunrise tour to the temples, only for the two of us, which ended up being our most memorable experience. Thanks so much to Hany for making our stay so special!
Some areas are not really well maintained like for example the piers. There’s spiderwebs everywhere and just looks really abandoned but this might be because we were there in shoulder season
It is clean and huge
It is close to the airport and far away from Abu simbel village and temples. You have no option than having your lunch dinner at the hotel… which was expensive and not good.
